Very authentic- the Italians eat here. Perfectly cooked aldente pasta, and our server Olindo made it very easy to order and helped point us in the right direction. Reasonably priced considering we got 2 pastas, 1 veal, and 2 desert's.

Unfortunately not for vegetarians / vegan - a complete miss (barely can order anything). The staff also immediately loses interest because you can’t order stuff and need to ask too many questions.

Came here 4 years ago and it’s still just as good as I remembered. Olindo is incredibly warm and welcoming, with a charming and authentically Italian personality that makes the whole experience even more special. And now to the food: the Carbonara is an absolute must-try. Trust me on this. The tiramisu is equally outstanding and definitely not to be missed. As food bloggers, we visit a lot of restaurants, and this is one of those places we would happily recommend again and again. A true gem!

Olindo is such a nice guy and the food. 🫣❤️ If you eat pasta here you will recognize you never had pasta before. And if you want the cherry on the top. Definitely go for the Tiramisu. I have been here already a couple of times and it’s more then great every time

From the moment we arrived, he welcomed me like old friends and made me feel completely at home. You can tell that hospitality isn’t just a job for him—it’s who he is. He took the time to make recommendations, check in on me, and ensure every detail was perfect, all with such a sincere and joyful spirit. The food at Osteria da Fortunata was exceptional, but what I will remember most is the way Olindo made me feel. Dinner here was spectacular! Ate on 6/13/26 in Roma. Probably the best food we’ve had in Rome/ Italy. There might be a line out the door but that is for good reason. It’s not “tourist trappy” it is delicious authentic Roman Italian food that makes you feel like you found something special. Olinso was our wonderful waiter, he gave me a recommendation that I am grateful for! Amazing service, amazing food! A must visit!

We had THE. BEST. experience. We were here 12/06/26- the food was fantastic. We got some pastas and tiramisu… SO so good, and the service was even better. Daniele provided a welcoming and fun atmosphere and made it a night we’ll never forget. Highly recommend coming here, you won’t regret it!

A complete tourist trap, through and through. There are so many better restaurants to have a more authentic experience. The carbonara is the saltiest I have ever had. The bathroom is disgusting. The service is subpar. The lady rolling the pasta by the window checked her pbone mid way, and went on to roll the pasta with the same hands after touching the dirty phone. And to charge that much for pasta in such a casual setting is ridiculous. The waiting time definitely does not justify the experience. Please do youeselves a favor and go a bit more south for a more authentic experience.

12/06/2026 Fantastic lunch and service from Peppe! We had dinner at this restaurant a few days ago and enjoyed it so much that we had to come back one last time. Amazing food - al dente pasta was cooked to perfection, yummy sauce. the best tiramisu and aperol spritz- and impeccable service. What a great way to wrap up our visit to Rome.

12/6/2026- Server was Peppe, My family and I have already come back to eat here twice and the pasta was very fresh and delicious with the sauce and meat mixing together in a way that brought out their best tastes. Our server was very nice and full of humor, making the restaurant feel welcoming and relaxing. I also really enjoyed their tiramisu, hands down the best I’ve ever had!

Tldr; Overhyped food and bad service. The pasta and pasta making window is quite lovely on camera but the canned pasta sauce tastes much better. They have 4 locations in Rome within 5 mins walk from each other. The service is quick but service quality is terrible. Guess the service is quick because the pasta was raw. Don’t go for food.

Experiencia nefasta… Fuimos el pasado 11 de junio a comer. Nos sentaron rápido y nos dieron la carta, pero el camarero que tenía que pedirnos nota fui muy desagradable con nosotros. No nos hemos encontrado con nada igual… Le hicimos una pregunta respecto a un plato de la carta y nos contestó muy despectivo y de malas formas. Y pasados 15 minutos y viendo que otras mesas que habían llegado posteriormente ya habían pedido e incluso estaban ya comiendo, le pedimos si nos podía tomar nota. La respuesta fue, literalmente, “luego”. Realmente no tenía mucha faena en ese momento, pero no sé qué problema tenía con nosotros. Desafortunadamente, nos levantamos y nos fuimos. Una pena no poder probar la mejor carbonara de Roma y llevarnos esa desagradable experiencia.

혼자 갔었는데 웨이터분이 수저랑 나이프를 던지듯이 서빙해서 너무 당황함... 인종차별인건지 실수로 떨어트린건지 구별이 안감 근데 사과도 안하고 일방적으로 던지고 떠났으니 인종차별이 맞겠지? 일단 까르보나라 면 자체는 쫀득하고 맛있는데 문제는 맛이 안 느껴질 정도로 짜다는것임 한국에서도 짜게 먹는편이라 괜찮을줄 알았는데 여기 까르보나라를 먹는 순간 혀와 장기가 뒤틀리는듯한 짠맛을 느끼고 절반도 못먹고 나옴 안짜면 진짜 맛있게 먹었을 거 같긴함 면 자체는 쫀득하고 맛있어서 한국 와서도 면 식감이 자꾸 생각남 ㅠㅠ 수제비 좋아하면 무조건 좋아할 식감

Nous sommes venus à ce restaurant par rapport au nombre d’avis qu’ils avaient récoltés en pensant qu’on allait pouvoir tester de bonnes pâtes authentiques (pâtes fraîche) , et au final nous avons été déçu, j’ai pris les pâtes à la carbonara, et la cuisson n’était pas la bonne, beaucoup trop poivrée, et la guancha était presque cramé comme des chips, En dehors de ça, l’équipe est très sympathique et le cadre est bon, mais on vient surtout pour découvrir l’authenticité des plats italiens et j’ai été déçu pour un classique qu’ils sont censés maîtriser

Impresionante osteria en el barrio del Trastevere en Roma. Los mejores ñoquis caseros que me he comido en mi vida.La salsa de tomate espectacular la carne de rabo de toro tiernísima,concentraba el sabor de la auténtica cocina italiana. Osteria tipica con piatti della tradizione romana, dove vedi stendere la pasta a mano. Ho fatto una richiesta fuori menù un abbinamento di pasta con un sugo diverso da quello indicato. Me lo hanno fatto ma sembrava una richiesta impossibile. Inoltre quello che non mi è piaciuto è che da sito dicevano di prenotare. Ho chiamato ma non prendevano le prenotazioni. Ho scritto su WhatsApp e mi hanno risposto dopo ore dicendo di arrivare al locale e aspettare. Ho fatto la fila e facevano passare persone dietro di me. Non mi è sembrato corretto.
