Conveniently located hotel with a great rooftop terrace where a full breakfast was served for our stay. The room was nice and spacious, and we had a corner unit with a great 2 window view looking over the Palazzo Montecitorio. The only issues we had were the AC unit being too weak for the hot summer weather as well as making noise during operation (squeaky), and the general Street noise being adjacent to a high traffic Palazzo.

Had the pleasure of staying in a double deluxe room and a suite. The double deluxe room was more updated and comfortable. The suite was tired and needed attention. Service from everyone encountered was top tier. The receptionists were warm, inviting, and ready to share any information needed. The mixologists, Angelo and Sonia, were in my top 5 ever. The libations were perfectly curated and both were ready with light conversation during aperitivo nightly. The rooftop will take your breath away. Colosseum in one direction, the Vatican in the other, with an obelisk in what seems like arms reach. Breakfast was well appointed to appease an array of palates. Location was perfect for the reason for our travel. If you are looking for a quiet setting, this isn’t it. City center is what this is. If you are down with that, Colonna palace will work for you.

difficult to make a great review the team is great, location fantastic…but in the end what i look for in a hotel is a nice room to sleep in. the hotel needs serious refurbishing, my shower was missing a door, worned down furniture, noisy… not a great experience

The only issue was lots of noise in the square - but there was government meetings during our stay...not a normal situation and no air conditioning. Which was strange. Other hotels had theirs turned on. But we loved the location and the room and all the staff!!!!

This was our second time at the hotel. The first was for 10 days and this time for 3. the only real issue for us this time was our first room was on the second floor in the corner by the street and the noise was too loud at night. Beyond that it's a great central location.

Excellent location to walk 25 mins to Vatican, Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Victor Emmanuel. Within 10 mins walk to Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona. Very clean rooms, friendly staff and excellent breakfast on the rooftop. Cocktails from the bar is convenient.

Room was nice except for the lack of AC there's too much much noise (people, garbage trucks, deliveries, etc.) to leave the window open all night. Great staff and a very good value. The view at breakfast terrace is spectacular.

Ok the rooms are very spacious but also kind of old and very average conditions. The WiFi is terrible. But everything is mostly clean and the rooftop is very nice. Close to shopping but there are definitely hotels closer to the sights. You can also hear everyone outside at all hours of the night (I was on the 4th floor)

Both me and my girlfriend were satisfied with out stay at Colonna Palace Hotel. Rooms are not in the best shape, but we thought it fit with the style from the restof the city. The hotel is walking distance from every major tourist attraction. Ex we walked from Rome Termini and we also walked to the Vatican State. Staff are very friendly and are happy to serve you both in the help desk and in the bar. The breakfast is somewhat small, but as far as i understand, this is what’s normal in Italy. The price per night was relatively expensive. The hotel is vary safe and practically guarded 24/7 because if nearby buildings guarded by police.

Stayed here over Christmas week — a true gem with old-school charm. We had a spacious duplex unit with modern bathrooms, and the cleaning staff were attentive and efficient. Breakfast? Cozy indoors in December, or a rooftop treat in warmer months. The view of the square and surrounding buildings is worth it — perfect for a morning coffee or sunset moment. Location can’t be beat: a short walk to Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and the city’s best shopping streets. And yes, you feel safe with the police regularly patrolling the square. Vibe: Classic, charming, and perfectly placed for exploring Rome.

I always stay at this hotel when visiting Rome. The location is superb, facing the Chamber of Deputies and just a few minutes away from Pantheon. The hotel has not been modernized and refurbished to death, and retains a lot of Old World charm. The staff is both very friendly and efficient. There is very little noise considering that you are staying in a very central part of a large European city. Two things I can especially recommend for other travellers is to use the hotel breakfeast. You can enjoy your breakfeast on the rooftop of the hotel with an incredible view of Rome. Then I can recomment that you enjoy a glass of wine in the hotel bar just next to the reception. They have a pretty decent selection of both wine and spritits for a reasonable price. The staff there is also very attentive and pleasant.

Colonna Palace Hotel left a genuinely positive impression on me, not because it tries to impress loudly, but because it delivers a thoughtful and comfortable stay right in the heart of Rome. From my arrival, the staff stood out as warm and genuinely kind. While early check-in was unfortunately not possible, the concierge more than made up for it with their helpfulness and calm professionalism, making the waiting time feel easy rather than frustrating. The lobby itself is another highlight: elegant yet cozy, a space that immediately feels reassuring after navigating the busy streets outside, and one that invites you to sit down, slow your pace, and settle into the Roman rhythm. I stayed in a room facing Piazza di Monte Citorio, which added a strong sense of place and atmosphere. While the window view was partially blocked by the rooftop of the neighboring building, the experience was still pleasant, and the room compensated with comfort and practicality. The bathroom was notably spacious, complete with a bathtub, which felt like a luxury after long days of walking across the city. It is a small detail, but one that significantly enhances rest and recovery. The rooftop is where Colonna Palace truly shines. Accessible at any time and doubling as the breakfast venue, it offers an expansive, unobstructed open-air view across Rome’s rooftops. Standing there, surrounded by sky and historic silhouettes, gave me one of my most memorable moments in the city. Breakfast felt unhurried, framed by miles of open views that quietly showcase Rome’s beauty. Location-wise, the hotel is exceptionally well placed. The Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, and St. Ignatius of Loyola Church are all within easy walking distance, and the surrounding area is filled with excellent trattorias. Overall, my experience at Colonna Palace was defined by comfort, kindness, and a location that allows Rome to unfold naturally around you.

Pros: location - in front of the Parliament and very accessible by foot to everywhere in the city if you dont mind walking. The breakfast is in the rooftop where there is a nice view and outdoor sitting. Cons: super noisy street and the hotel is a old building where the windows are made of wood and thin, you can hear everything happening in the street. With could hear people screaming, seagulls, glass recycling being collected, the room next door taking a bath (water running). There is a jacuzzi in the rooftop that only has cold water and no one uses it. Breakfast is decent for a small hotel: boiled or scrambled eggs, 2 choices of bread, some fruits, iogurts and cereal and a choice of croissant, 3 types of juices, water and coffees.

The hotel has no restaurant. The bar provides peanuts and potato chips with drinks, and there is an option for a toasted sandwich of cheese and ham. It would be great if a little more “bar food” were available. But the location and the great staff make up for its shortcomings.

Pros: Location. Friendliness of staff. Wifi was working great for me. Breakfast was prompt and good. Cons: Room was old and dated, and only had 1 small window. Electrical outlets are from the 1950s. My room was right below the breakfast area, so every morning at 730 am, you can hear every movement upstairs. If location is your key criteria, this is your place. If you are looking for comfort or more, this will not be your kind of hotel.

Fantastic hotel. Amazing location to walk everywhere. Beautiful rooms and lovely terrace for breakfast. Good continental breakfast with a great view. Friendly staff serving coffee and machines also available. Hotel sorted transfer to and from the airport which were great and totally hassle free. Felt very safe with police outside but we never needed to show ID to get in as we had seen on previous reviews.

Really good ubication. It is not a 4 stars hotel. The rooms are old, the shower is broken. Wifi in the 4th floor doesn’t work. The breakfast is not good, only the view from the rooftop. It is difficult to sleep at night because of the noise from the street. Staff is nice.

This hotel experience for us was near comical. For first 3 out of 5 night we kept getting asked if we were guests at the hotel everytime we entered the lobby. The AC never really worked, first few days it was set to balmy 24 degree even though it was 26+ outside. Next day it was "turned off" even thought it was 26 during the day. We were told to open the window, which is not ideal for noise or mosquitoes flying in for a quick sip and of course all the smoke smell. Ammenities are generally non existent at this hotel. There is extra weak to non existent Wi-fi at the hotel, atleast in our room. Then we got lectured by the receptionist on how we shouldn't have misplaced hotel keycard and they have only exact number of cards at hand so they can give us extra if we lost one. Breakfast was ok, very limited selection. There was no coffee/hot water kettle in the room. Now the pluses...it's the most central location I can think of if you're visiting Rome. Everything is very close, makes short trips with kiddo an achievable option. It is in the same plaza as government building, so the security is top notch. Rooms are well kept and cleaned and we were given a very nice and sturdy crib for the baby. Terrace view is phenomenal.

I’m sorry but this is NOT a 4 star hotel. I’ve never stayed in a 3 or 2 start hotel but I imagine this is what those are like. Staff is really nice thou. Rooftop is pretty. Location is very safe.

The location in central Rome is outstanding. A pleasant walk to all the sites. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The downsides were the age of the rooms, with only one plug that had a standard European connection, all the others were the older type - we didn’t have an adaptor for them, but didn’t need one anywhere else. The other aspect was the slowest and most unstable WiFi we experienced in the 5 week trip - not good enough in today’s world. Would probably come back given the location.

This was our second visit to Colonna Palace. We brought 7 friends with us. Everyone was very pleased with their stay. In the evening we used the rooftop terrace for cocktails. It provided a beautiful city view and comfortable seating. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast on the rooftop also. Many items to choose from and delicious croissants too! Staff was there to provide coffee and tea. Our room was very clean, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Rome.

Roof top terrace dining is fantastic.the pool there was just enough to dip your feet in and relax. Great views. A Great hotel right in the middle of everything. With the government building directly across you knew you were safe as local policia were standing out front. The best gelato is gilliotti and it's right around the corner, the restaurants close by and shopping all around you. Theory down side is lack of grab handles in their bathrooms. Remember to bring washcloths as the do Not exist in Italy.

Localização imbatível, segurança máxima e muito conforto em Roma! Se você procura a localização perfeita para explorar Roma a pé, o Colonna Palace Hotel é a escolha ideal. O ponto alto da hospedagem é, sem dúvidas, onde ele fica: a meros 5 minutos de caminhada do Panteão e da icônica Fontana di Trevi, e super perto da Galeria Alberto Sordi, Via del Corso, o paraíso das compras com lojas como Zara, Uniqlo, Kiko Milano, H&M, Adidas, entre muitas outras. Além disso, fica a apenas 2 km da estação de trem Termini, o que facilita muito os deslocamentos. Outro diferencial gigantesco é a segurança. O hotel fica em uma praça com um obelisco egípcio logo em frente à Câmara dos Deputados, o que significa que há policiamento e segurança máxima a todo momento. Me senti extremamente segura caminhando por ali. O hotel em si tem um estilo mais antigo e clássico, mas é muito confortável e funcional. Conta com elevador (essencial para subir com as malas), funcionários muito solícitos e cordiais, e um serviço de café da manhã muito bom e completo, que ainda oferece uma bela vista para a cidade. Fiquei em um quarto single (individual) e achei excelente. A cama era super confortável e o banheiro tinha um chuveiro maravilhoso — a combinação perfeita para relaxar e descansar o corpo após os longos dias de muita caminhada batendo perna por Roma. Recomendo de olhos fechados!

조식뷰와 위치가 장점인 콜론나 팰리스👍🏼 트레비분수, 판테온, 콜로세움, 포로로마노, 베네치아 광장 등이랑 모두 비교적 가까워요 :) 게다가 피우미치노 공항까지 택시 예약해주는 서비스가 있어서 65유로 내고 이용했는데 넘 좋았어요 (택시 이용일로부터 최소 하루 전에는 데스크에 말해주어야 한다고 합니다) 조식 메뉴는 기본적인 호텔 조식 메뉴라고 생각하시면 됩니다! 테이블에 음식 냅두고 잠깐 자리 비우시면 참새가 먹방할 수 있으니 참고하셔요 ㅋ

위치 하나만 보고 예약했으나, 서비스와 객실 관리는 많이 실망스럽습니다. ​투숙 중 에어컨이 작동하지 않아 점검을 요청했더니, 직원은 확인도 하기 전에 "창문을 열어두어서 그런 것 같다"며 저희 탓으로 돌렸습니다. 에어컨이 안 나와서 더워서 열어둔 것뿐이었는데 말이죠. 결국 직원이 직접 방에 와서 고장 난 것을 확인한 후에야 방을 바꿔주겠다고 했습니다. ​하지만 그 과정에서 미안하다는 사과는 단 한마디도 없었습니다. 그저 "짐 다 준비되면 로비로 와서 키를 받아 가라"고 안내할 뿐이었습니다. 친절함과는 거리가 먼 대처였습니다. ​심지어 새로 바뀐 방은 더 낮은 1층이었고, 준비가 덜 되었는지 수건도 1인실처럼 딱 한 개만 놓여 있었습니다. 수건을 더 가져다 달라고 요청했을 때도 미안하다는 기색 없이 그냥 수건만 주고 가버리더군요. ​위치가 좋은 호텔은 로마에 많습니다. 기본 관리가 안 되고 고객 응대가 아쉬운 이곳은 다시 방문하고 싶지 않네요. The location is the only positive aspect of this hotel. Everything else, from the service to the room condition, was highly disappointing. ​During our stay, the AC didn't work. When we reported it, the staff immediately blamed us, saying, "It's because you left the windows open." In fact, we only opened the windows because the room was too hot due to the broken AC. Only after a staff member came up and confirmed it was broken did they offer to change our room. ​However, there was no apology for the inconvenience. They simply told us, "Once you are packed, come down to the lobby to pick up the new key." It was far from a friendly or hospitable service. ​To make matters worse, the new room on the 1st floor wasn't even properly prepared. There was only one towel provided. When we asked for more towels, they just handed them over without any sign of apology or care. ​There are plenty of hotels in Rome with great locations. I would not recommend staying here due to the poor room maintenance and lack of hospitality.

로마 관광 하기 최고의 위치이고 조식먹는 테라스가 너무 이뻐요.주변이 안전해서 밤에도 다니기 좋아요.다만 오래된 건물이라 화장실 물내리는 버튼이 고장나서 불편했고 사워기 틈새로 물이 새서 욕조 윗부분에서 화장실 바닥으로 물이 흘러서 불편했어요.그래도 다음에 로마가면 또 머물고 싶은 호텔이에요.

시내 중심이라 어디든 걸어가기 좋음. 바티칸도 30분정도면 걸어감. 처음에 받은 방이 도로쪽이라 시끄러웠는데 리셉션에 말하니 좋은방으로 무료업그레이드해줌. 방깨끗하고 조식은 가짓수가 적지만 맛있음. 추천할만한 호텔!

Très bon hôtel extrêmement bien situé dans Rome pour visiter les principaux lieux touristiques. Hôtel calme , placer sur une place garder par la police 24h/24. La terrasse du petit déjeuner offre un vue imprenable sur rome avec au loin le Colisée et la basilique Saint-Pierre. Les chambres sont spacieuses et propre.

Prima hotel. Misschien wat gedateerd, maar alles zag er netjes, schoon en verzorgd uit. Personeel is allervriendelijkst en zeer behulpzaam. Hotel ligt op centrale plek t.o.v. bezienswaardigheden. In de buurt zijn veel winkels en er is veel horeca. Geen geluidsoverlast op de kamer. Ontbijt is veelzijdig. Ontbijt op dakterras met geweldig uitzicht. Vanwege regeringsgebouwen veel bewaking, stoort niet.

Hôtel parfaitement placé dans Rome pour faire toutes les visites des lieux incontournables. La rue avec les restaurants se trouvent juste derrière. On peut donc commencer par un apéritif au bar de l'hôtel (je recommande leur gin tonic), poursuivre au restaurant et terminer par le délicieux cappuccino de l'hôtel. Hotel situato in Piazza Monte Citorio di fronte alla Camera dei Deputati. La posizione è fantastica: da qui a piedi si raggiungono agevolmente senza l'uso di mezzi tutti i monumenti principali. Anche alla sera, si puo' uscire tranquillamente raggiungendo a piedi le decine di ristoranti e locali presenti nella zona pedonale. A dispetto dell'età dell'hotel, ho trovato le camere abbastanza curate, anche se una ventola in bagno non ci starebbe male, come anche una migliore insonorizzazione. Dalla mia stanza al quinto piano si godeva una bella vista sui tetti di Roma e sul Vittoriano. La sala colazione al sesto piano è un po' ristretta; favoloso se si riesce a trovare posto in terrazza, con vista magnifica su Roma. Colazione un po' "mini" per un 4 stelle. Comunque, complessivamente, un buon rapporto qualità prezzo in relazione alla zona.

Что понравилось: 1. Идеальное местоположение, гарантирующие и безопасность, и доступность к достопримечательностям. 2. Чистота, теплый номер, напор и температура воды в душе. Это редкие плюсы в подобных отелях. 3. Персонал вежливый, точно ориентирует. Смогла взять завтрак при раннем выселении. Что не понравилось: Слив в унитазе шумел и не работала батарея в ванной комнате. Комментарий: Завтрак нормальный, но может показаться что не хватает белковой пищи. Я не ем мясо. Было четыре вида колбас и один вид сыра. Выпечка очень была сладкая, можно было бы добавить круассан без сиропа сверху. Еще непонятная ситуация с кофе: из машины черный кофе невкусный (капучино нормальный). Только в последний завтрак увидела опцию попросить нормальный эспрессо отдельно. Об этом нигде ничего не написано.

立地はすごく良くて、旅行中4つのホテルに泊まったが一番綺麗で安心して利用できた。 朝食は一番上の階でテラス席で食べることができ雰囲気が最高でした！12月後半でしたがすごく寒いことはなかったです。 栄えてる場所のため夜中は少し外の声と鳥の鳴き声が聞こえますが耳栓すればいいかなと思います。

위치하나는 진짜 너ㅓㅓㅓ무 좋았어요 아침에 바티칸 투어갈때 택시한번 탄거말곤 지하철 버스 한번 안타고 계속 걸어다녔어요 ㅋㅋ 낡았다는 후기보고 걱정 많이했는데 낡았지만 깨끗했어요 다만 방음은 정말 안댐! 그리고 매트리스도 옆사람 움직이면 지진남ㅎ 직원분들 전부 엄청 잘 챙겨주고 좋아요 난방은 따뜻하다못해 더워서 저희는 잘때빼곤 거의창문 열고있었어요 ㅋㅋ 창문이 있어서 너무너무 좋았어요

El hotel tiene un personal de recepción super amable y atento. Todas y todos son super amables te ayudan en todo. Nos cambiaron de habitación tuvimos un problema con el vuelo y nos permitieron hacer el check out a la 13:30 me facilitaron papeles para poder estudiar en los sofás. Nos quedamos dos días pero fueron super amables! Gracias! El botones también!

Hotel agréable, personnel serviable et le petit déjeuner sur le roof top est un grand plus, même mi novembre. Les chambres donnant sur la rue à l arrière sont mal isolées, bruyantes et un peu fraîches pour moi. Le personnel nous a fourni une couette supplémentaire.

Die Lage des Hotels ist ausgesprochen zentral, was für viele Sehenswürdigkeiten ein großer Vorteil ist. Gleichzeitig liegt es direkt gegenüber dem Abgeordnetenhaus, wodurch es regelmäßig zu Demonstrationen und einem entsprechend hohen Aufkommen von Polizia, Carabinieri und Sicherheitskräften kommt. Das sollte man bei der Planung wissen – für manche Gäste ist die besondere Atmosphäre interessant, andere empfinden es eventuell als trubeliger. Mein Zimmer war bei der Ankunft recht kühl, und ich konnte es selbst leider nicht wärmer einstellen. Das Team an der Rezeption hat jedoch sehr freundlich reagiert und mir sofort eine zusätzliche Decke zur Verfügung gestellt, was ich wirklich wertschätzend finde. Beim Frühstück gibt es aus meiner Sicht noch Potenzial: Für ein 4-Sterne-Hotel würde ich mir etwas mehr frische, vollwertige und qualitative Auswahl wünschen. Einige Backwaren und Süßspeisen waren verpackt, die Brötchen eher trocken. Das Personal im Frühstücksraum arbeitet allerdings sehr aufmerksam und hält alles sauber und ordentlich. Ein Hinweis für Gäste mit frühen Aktivitäten: Das Frühstück beginnt erst um 7:30 Uhr. Da manche geführte Touren bereits um 8 Uhr starten, ist es zeitlich teilweise schwer zu nutzen. Insgesamt ein freundliches Haus mit engagiertem Personal und einer hervorragenden Lage. Mit ein paar Anpassungen, besonders beim Frühstück und der Temperaturregelung, könnte das Erlebnis noch runder werden.

와이파이 전혀 안돼요 한국인들 가면 속터집니다 위치는 최고예요 어디든 도보이동가능하고 치안도 좋아요. 숙소도 낡았지만 깨끗하고 청소도 잘해줘요 다만 와이파이가 진짜 정말 안됩니다 그렇다고 숙소내에서 그냥 데이터가 잘 터지는것도 아님........ 일과 마치고 호텔에서 영상보거나 폰좀 보려고해도 짜증나서 못보겠어요 그리고 방음 전혀안되니 소리 예민한 분들은 오지마세요. 오래된 옛날창이라 그냥 밖에서 야외취침 하는 느낌입니다. 길거리 노래소리 갈매기소리 진짜 너무 시끄러움 와이파이 필요없고 위치가 중요하다 하시는 분들 추천합니다.

위치가 넘사라는 후기들에 반례 제시합니다. 2023년 9월 국가적 행사가 있던 때에 묵었는데(연례행사 아니고 그냥 갑자기 생긴 행사 느낌이었음), 첫날은 그냥 바로 들어갔는데 두번째날인가 돌아오니 호텔로부터 일정 거리를 다 못들어가게 막았음. 나는 일부러 치안이 좋을거라 생각하고 이곳을 선택한건데, 정식 경로로 못 들어가니 계속 빙빙 돌면서 입구를 찾았고(경찰들도 다 자기가 지키는 구역으로 들어오면 안되니 저곳으로 돌아가라고 말할 뿐 제대로 된 입구를 아는 사람이 없었음. 호텔측에서 제대로된 입구를 경찰에게 알려주던가, 직원이 나와있어서 안내를 했어야 했다고 생각함.) 20분이 넘게 밖을 돌았음. 심지어 캐리어를 들고 체크아웃을 할 때도 똑같은 상황이 발생해서, 땀을 뻘뻘 흘리며 출구를 찾음. 1박에 200유로 중반대로 숙소를 예약했는데 매우 형편없는 숙박을 했다고 생각됨. 객실도 지방 모텔 수준으로 형편없었고 유일하게 좋았던 것은 조식 식당 뷰임

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt im Colonna Palace. Die Lage ist TOP! Die Zimmer sind italienisch gemütlich und gepflegt. Frühstücken auf der Dachterrasse war wunderbar. Sehr gute Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet. Wir können es absolut weiterempfehlen und würden es wieder buchen.

Ich bin nun fast eine Wocheall allein reisender Gast hier und fühle mich nach wie vor herzlich empfangen und sehr gut aufgehoben, was allem voran an den Menschen, die hier für alles sorgen liegt. Die Lage ist unbezahlbar und die Austattung der Lounge sehr edel. Auch die Zimmer sind angemessen und der Service top...dass ggf.leichte Gebrauchsspuren an den Wänden sind, liegt mE an so manchem Gast, der nicht sorgsam mit diesem schönen Umfeld umgeht, was dem Ganzen jedoch absolut keinen Abbruch macht und dem Hotel nicht anzulasten ist. Alles in allem ist hier die Leistung dem Preis VOLL angemessen...allerdings ist die Freundlichkeit der Gastgeber von Rezeption bis in ALLE anderen Bereiche unbezahlbar. Von mir eine klare Empfehlung besonders für Alleinreisende. Ich sage danke für wundervolle Tage

L'emplacement est extraordinaire et très sécurisé. L'hôtel est charmant, pur style italien, un peu vieillot mais c'est ce qui fait tout son charme. Les chambres de luxe sont spacieuses et confortables même si la salle de bain pourrait être plus moderne. Le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse pourrait être plus complet mais il est suffisant. Le wifi par contre est une catastrophe. Mais sinon le personnel est agréable et l'hôtel très central, tout peut se faire a pieds si on aime la marche
