28/05/2026Nos lo habían recomendado varias personas y nos decepcionó. Tardaron mucho en traernos las bebidas, se lo volvimos a recordar y pasaron otros 10 minutos. Finalmente nos trajeron la comida y nos preguntaron si no habíamos pedido bebida. Se disculparon, pero podían haber sido mejor el servicio. La comida estaba buena, aunque no es la mejor que probamos en el viaje.

17/10/2025Restaurante más que correcto donde es el sabor el protagonista y no su aspecto. Mesas pequeñas y juntas, pero un sabor auténtico. Pedimos la cotoletta alla milanesa (plato sencillo pero elaborado a la perfección y con unas patatas hervidas y ligeramente fritas que la acompañaban a la perfección) y la pasta amatriciana que además de estar la pasta aldente el sabor de la salsa me llegó al alma. Si vas por el barrio de Navigli no caigas en la trampa de los restaurantes para extranjeros y visita las zonas aledañas donde encontrarás mejor calidad y precio.

05/06/2026We decided to come to this restaurant based on the reviews and the fact it was a couple of streets back from the canal and somewhat more local. We wanted to sit on the outside table along the street (more space) but were told we could only sit on the tables on the footpath. We were seated fairly close to other tables. Unfortunately the tables we wanted filled up, perhaps they had a booking, but didn’t look like it. The service was fairly slow but friendly. My ragú was really tasty, however the meatballs were room temperature and not very flavourful. My partners lasagne verde was delicious. The bread was not warm and appeared to be old. It had no butter on it. I would suggest warm bread with garlic butter. The Messina beer I had was very good. I enjoyed the fact the menu was only in Italian.

02/06/2026Posto e personale accogliente, anche le proposte di cibo sono variegate e lasciano spazio di scelta alla clientela, così da poter trovare senza problemi qualcosa di proprio gusto tra le varie tipologie di pietanze offerte dall’ampio menú. Dovrò tornarci per provare anche il resto del menù (soprattutto le Striatelle). Per ora le varie paste, dagli gnocchi, agli spaghetti con le vongole e la carbonara sono state pienamente soddisfacenti

31/05/2026A restaurant we looked out to became a disaster. It is not what it used to be. The worst, we ordered a pasta with sage (Cacio e Pepe) and we got a pasta with laurier on top. Taste was not good and the staff did not do anything after a complaint. They said the laurier was for decoration on a sage pasta... Then there was the smell as the kitchen ventilation was not working properly, coperto for these sad pieces of bread and at last I doubt the Italian kitchen

27/05/2026A hundred percent recommend this place! The atmosphere inside is really nice — calm and cozy, without the overwhelming crowds and noise you usually get around the canal area. The service was fast and very friendly, but the real highlight was the food. Every single dish we tried (mostly pasta) was absolutely delicious, we honestly couldn’t stop talking about it afterwards. The portions are generous, the quality is incredible, and the prices are very reasonable for what you get (around €15–18 per dish). Definitely one of the best meals we had.

So much so that we have booked flights to return and come back to this restaurant again this September via our route back from Lake Como. This time we are bringing more friends. It will be late afternoon but I am hoping they will still serve the Wild Boar dish as it was incredible. See you again soon.

10/05/2026Après avoir lu énormément d’avis élogieux sur Striatelle di Nonna Mafalda, je voulais absolument vérifier par moi-même lors de notre passage à Milan… et honnêtement, je comprends maintenant parfaitement l’engouement autour de cette adresse. Dès notre arrivée pour le déjeuner, nous avons été accueillis avec une gentillesse incroyable dans un cadre magnifique au cœur des Navigli. Entre la décoration chaleureuse, l’ambiance typiquement italienne et les tables remplies de locaux, on se sent immédiatement plongé dans une vraie trattoria milanaise authentique. Ici, tout respire l’Italie. Nous avons commencé avec les fameuses boulettes de viande de la grand-mère, gratinées à la mozzarella dans une sauce tomate maison… un pur bonheur. Le genre d’antipasti réconfortant qui donne immédiatement le ton du repas. Accompagné d’un excellent vin blanc italien, le déjeuner commençait déjà parfaitement. Puis sont arrivés les plats… et là, énorme coup de cœur. Mon escalope à la milanaise était tout simplement gigantesque, plus grande que la main de ma conjointe ! Une viande tendre, une panure croustillante et dorée à la perfection… absolument incroyable. L’agneau était lui aussi fondant et parfaitement cuit. Ma conjointe a pris les pâtes aux palourdes, et honnêtement elles étaient exceptionnelles : des pâtes parfaitement al dente, des palourdes ultra fraîches, des saveurs simples mais maîtrisées à la perfection. On sent la cuisine italienne sincère et généreuse. Et pour finir… un tiramisu absolument mémorable. Sans exagérer, l’un des meilleurs que nous avons mangés de notre vie. Au final, ce déjeuner était bien plus qu’un simple restaurant : une véritable expérience culinaire italienne dans l’un des plus beaux quartiers de Milan. Une adresse authentique, chaleureuse et incroyablement gourmande que nous recommanderons sans hésiter.

21/04/2026Sort of surprised by the high marks here - ordered a salad to start and pasta with octopus and black olives. The salad was just ok with lots of yellow lettuce and the pasta was a good serving but flavor was not dynamic and they used what certainly must have been canned black olives. It just didn’t hit for me. Much better alternatives for atmosphere along the canal and I had much better pasta throughout Milan

Un excellent tiramisu en dessert et sa piadina poires chocolat délicieuse. Les portions sont généreuses. Les prix sont très correct: à deux, plats + desserts + boissons (verre de vin, soda, eau): 55€! Très bonne adresse! Foncez!

07/04/2026Locale davvero carino, appena entri si respira un’aria di casa. L’ambiente è informale ma accogliente, ti fa sentire subito a tuo agio, come a pranzo dalla nonna. Il personale è gentile e disponibile, sempre con il sorriso. Sul cibo nulla da dire: molto buono e abbondante. Porzioni generose, sapori autentici e ingredienti che si sente sono scelti con cura. Le striatelle sono spettacolari, ma tutto il menu merita. Rapporto qualità-prezzo ottimo. Ci tornerò sicuramente e lo consiglio a chi cerca un posto semplice dove si mangia bene e ci si sente accolti.

30/03/2026Everything was perfect , we had a great experience of true Italian cooking- we both ate the gnocchi with ricotta, it was delicious- would recommend the one with eggplant in particular. The tiramisu was clearly homemade ( and not bought in metro as in so many other places) and that makes the entire difference for the taste! We wanted to use our basics in Italian and the service understood us and did not switch to english directly ( although they spoke perfect english) so thanks for this amazing dinner and Italian experience !

Acolhedor, típico, com preços justos e serviço de excelência, onde destaco o Atin (pela disponibilidade e o seu inglês perfeito), porque foi também aquele que nos atendeu, mas nota-se um ambiente bastante agradável. Ao nível do menu, destaco o Striatelle de Frango (apresentação parecida a um kebab, mas com massa especial) e o prato Montalbano. Obrigado!

22/02/2026חוויה לא מוצלחת. האוכל לא טעים, והבעלים של המקום חמוצה ולא נעימה. פעם אחת הגענו והמקום היה מלא והיא גירשה אותנו. בכל זאת חזרנו ובפעם השניה כשלא אהבנו מנה מסוימת היא כעסה במעמד החשבון והייתה חמוצה והשאירה אותנו עם טעם רע (תרתי משמע). לא נחזור ולא נמליץ!

The eggplant dish was excellent, the pasta dishes however, were not exciting at all. The seasoning was off and the taste was quite underwhelming. The restaurant is cosy, the service is just okay. With so many great restaurants in Milan we wouldn't come back here again. Since the owners of the restaurant were perplexed by my review I am adding some information: By saying the seasoning was off I meant the dishes lacked some salt. Both pasta dishes lacked salt and depth of flavour. As I said, they were okay, but nothing to remember. I am happy to hear that all your other customers are happier with their food than us.

15/02/2026Das Essen war kurzgesagt eine Katastrophe. Es war die schrecklichste Pasta meines Lebens. Orecchiette Cetara con Vongole - 2 Minuten nach Bestellung war das Essen schon da. Wie kann man so schnell Muscheln kochen? In der Mikrowelle- das Essen kam viel zu heiß, war extrem salzig und viel zu viel Öl. Es schmeckte tot gekocht und sonst nach nichts und mir wurde schon beim Essen schlecht. Meine Freundin hatte Delicato Ischitano, was ebenfalls eine absolute Katastrophe war. Das Essen war kalt. Uns wurde gesagt, es müsste so sein weil der Käse halt kalt war, aber abgesehen davon war es geschmacklich sowas von ekelhaft, wie Schweinefutter, aber kein Schwein würde so etwas essen. Sie hat sich nach dem Essen mehrfach übergeben. Ich kann nur davor warnen dieses Lokal zu besuchen, ich reise sehr viel durch Italien und esse gerne experimentierfreudig, aber das war einfach nur schlecht und eine Verletzung der italienischen Küche. Nie wieder.

Ossobuco with polenta was absolutely delicious, but it was the carbonara that literally brought tears to my eyes. I ate a lot of carbonara on this trip but this one will haunt my dreams. Leider war das sehr ungemütlich. Auf unseren Hinweis, dass es sehr kalt ist, konnte/wollte man leider in keiner Weise reagieren. So haben wir noch vor dem Dessert an einen wärmeren Ort gewechselt.

Volevamo assaggiare la cotoletta ma purtroppo era terminata e abbiamo optato per una fantastica polenta con ossobuco, x dolce assaggiato le striatelle. 28/12/2025Il cibo è davvero ottimo. Il servizio è celere e i camerieri molto gentili. Il locale è ben arredato con tante belle foto di attori e cantanti alle pareti. Unico neo: le dimensioni delle stanze sono molto piccole e, secondo me, il numero dei tavoli, oggi a pranzo, era troppo alto e ci trovavamo tutti troppo vicini. Comunque si tratta di un locale da consigliare, assolutamente.

14/12/2025Siamo arrivati alle 14:45 e abbiamo capito di essere arrivati tardi per pranzare. Siamo stati a Milano quattro anni fa e ci era piaciuta moltissimo, ma questa volta non siamo riusciti ad arrivare prima e non ci hanno servito. Inoltre il personale non è stato per niente gentile, cosa che mi ha sorpreso perché la prima volta l’attenzione era stata ottima, al contrario di questa volta. Entendendo che ovviamente tutti abbiamo un orario e che, non sapendo quale fosse quello della cucina, avrebbero potuto dirlo con un sorriso, che non costa nulla. Non credo che torneremo, ma grazie 🙂

03/11/2025Appena fuori dal caos dei Navigli ma abbastanza vicino per farci una passeggiata o un aperitivo subito prima, piatti buoni a prezzi accessibili. Piatti particolari e succulenti, sia di carne che per vegetariani, (purtroppo non ho provate le striatelle nè i primi). L'unica pecca il vino della casa non era granché. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo!

01/11/2025⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Restaurant italien exceptionnel – quartier Navigli, Milan Un vrai bijou au cœur de Navigli, loin des adresses touristiques ! Ce restaurant est une pépite authentique où tout est soigné, du service à l’assiette. Les spaghettis alla Vongolé étaient absolument divines, parfaitement équilibrées, un vrai régal du début à la fin. La côtelette à la milanaise est tout simplement une tuerie — croustillante, fondante, généreuse, bref, la perfection. Et pour finir, un tiramisu d’une finesse rare, très équilibré, pas trop sucré, juste parfait pour conclure ce repas d’exception. Mention très spéciale pour le serveur M. ATIN, d’une attention et d’une gentillesse remarquables, qui a rendu l’expérience encore plus agréable (en plus il parle parfaitement le français) Un restaurant exceptionnel, sincère et raffiné, à ne surtout pas manquer à Milan. 🌟🇮🇹

Les plats sont délicieux, pleins de saveurs. Petit bémol sur le dessert, mais nous aurions sans doute dû choisir quelque chose de plus léger. Nous recommandons vivement

24/10/2025I recently dined here and found the experience to be very solid. I had the gnocchi and the ossobuco with polenta. Both dishes were prepared well, and everything tasted good.The service was also perfect. The staff were kind and attentive. Overall, it was a good meal with gentle service, also a good price for the area. I would recommend it.

15/10/2025A la recherche d'un restau proposant l'osso bucco au menu, à un prix raisonnable, le Striatelle semblait idéal..et il l'a été, le plat était terriblement bon (une découverte pour moi).Mon ami italien qui l a ensuite goûté, m'a confirmé que c'était délicieux! Bref, je recommande cet endroit et je sais où dîner lors de mon prochain séjour à Milan.

04/12/2024Aggiornamento: oggi mio cognato ha mangiato qui e mi ha detto che è stato il pasto migliore che abbia mai mangiato in Italia durante il suo viaggio! Ha mangiato le pappardelle al ragù di cinghiale e ha detto che erano fatte alla perfezione. Quindi, è ancora il nostro ristorante preferito a Milano!

24/09/2022Compared to all the high reviews we were abit disappointed. Maybe just ordered the wrong things? We had the gnocchi sorrentina which was ok - lots of cheese and the cotoletta which the batter was pretty burnt and dry. Staff were disinterested so didn't bother ordering anything else.

24/04/2022Awesome as always. When I’m in Milan I’m always passing through this restaurant, the food is so good and the ambient lovely. Striatella is the main course of the place but the pasta also is special! I’ve taken papardella a cinghiale, the striatelle of course and meatball with cime di rapa. Delicious and cheap
