06/06/2026A wonderful restaurant with a beautiful atmosphere and great vibes. The seating area is elegant and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a memorable meal. The food is beautifully presented and tastes just as good as it looks, every dish is crafted with great attention to detail. The restaurant is extremely popular and always very busy, so I highly recommend making a reservation in advance, especially for dinner. It’s definitely worth planning ahead for such a great dining experience.

03/06/2026Ambiente molto ben curato, servizio e cibo veramente eccezionale mi capita poche volte di restare affascinato da un posto ma lo staff e l’atmosfera hanno reso tutto più facile. Naturalmente non è il posto in cui puoi andare tutti i giorni ma se volete fare bella figura o portare la dolce metà in un posto speciale questo ristorante fa per voi.

17/05/2026Allora, partiamo dall’inizio: - pizzetta di benvenuto terribile, imbarazzante, meglio niente a sto punto. - qualità del pesce buona ma piatti estremamente overpriced - locale rumoroso e posti strettini. - piatti con materia prima buonissima ma poco ricercati. Diciamo che a quel prezzo si esige una cura per i dettagli e una creatività culinaria superiore alla media. - ottima cantina con selezione di vini molto vasta (sempre e comunque overpriced con prezzi che partono dai 45 a bottiglia) - i piatti sbeccati ERRORE GRAVISSIMO per un posto di questo livello. - mancata anche una cura verso il cliente che viene invece riservata solo per alcuni pochi prescelti. In posti di simile livello, sempre a Milano, vi è molta più accuratezza verso i piccoli dettagli che fanno la differenza (ritirare il cappotto all’ingresso, offrire un piccolo assaggio, accertarsi del comfort del cliente ecc) - locale di per sè molto caratteristico e esteticamente di buon gusto. bel colore delle pareti, bravi. Nota di buon proposito: rimango comunque curioso di provare Giacomo Bistrot e Giacomo Rosticceria per valutare se l’esperienza potrà essere migliore. Peace ✌🏻

14/05/2026Not about the food, we ate at the sister restaurant before and it was great. Booked this for an early dinner on my graduation day with my family. However, after a long day of celebrating a family member felt unwell requiring me to cancel the booking. I called to explain the situation, being aware of the cancellation policy. I do understand that you need to enforce the rules, however I thought that if I call an hour before the booking to cancel explaining the context there would be room for empathy. I do not understand how you can justify 50€ per person when it was on a Friday evening and it was likely that there would be walk-ins and I cancelled ahead of the reservation. Anyway, beautiful location but receiving a 200€ fine on one’s graduation day was definitely not kind. Please reconsider these policies they are entirely unjustified!

Nous avons demandé de l’eau à deux reprises sans jamais être servis, puis la carte des desserts également deux fois, sans succès. Et malgré cela, on nous demande de laisser un pourboire… Avant de solliciter des pourboires, il serait préférable d’assurer un service irréprochable. Dommage, car la nourriture est vraiment bonne, mais je ne recommande pas.

I felt a bit worried at first, but the hostess welcomed us with the sweetest words: “It’s okay, we’ve been waiting for you.” 🥹✨ That moment already made such a wonderful first impression. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. When they presented the menu, they kindly explained each dish with care and gave thoughtful recommendations. One of the dishes we ordered was a seafood appetizer platter with fresh raw fish, and it was absolutely delicious. The fish was very fresh and high quality. 🐟✨ Every dish we ordered was delicious and worth the price. 🍝🍷 The restaurant itself has a very charming and cozy atmosphere — it made us feel warm and comfortable throughout the entire dinner. After paying the bill, we had a lovely conversation with the manager (I think). He was very friendly and even mentioned that he had visited Thailand before. 🇹🇭 Overall, it was such a wonderful dining experience, and I truly felt welcomed here. I would definitely love to come back again! ❤️

08/03/2026Rarely do I give a mediocre or negative review, I’d rather stay quiet. To be objective, the food was excellent, but it was so over-shadowed by the rude service we received. The young woman at the front desk was friendly but unfortunately the dining servers were basically absent, rude and clearly couldn’t be bothered by us. Our 5-star hotel recommended Da Giacomo…we will suggest they avoid doing so for American guests in the future.

Scallop dish was made with a really good sauce! Amazing taste. The only comment i have about this place is that it is established to be an Expensive restaurant so if you are not ready to spend extra, it is not the place to be! Table charge was €7pp and water €5/bottle. Highest from my trip. But if you are ready to spend a bit extra from regular restaurant, is worth the try.

Bisognerebbe servire cio che il cliente compra. Se mi fai pagare 16 euro, mi aspetto un fiano di avellino exultet o livello superiore. Sul cibo non ho da dire nulla. I tortelli erano davvero buoni.

Highly suggest the mixed raw starter as it’s as close to perfect as a crudo can be. Pastas are world class again focused around fresh shellfish. The cacio e Pepe with raw prawns is outstanding. Mains are exceptionally fresh with a variety of options from simple grills to classic dishes. All in all very satisfying and worth the money in every way. A bit expensive but you pay for quality. Wine list is well represented Italian selections at all price points. Service is professional and knowledgeable. English spoken by all staff. It’s a classic worthy of attention!

Io e mia moglie siamo rimasti a bocca aperta per la qualità del cibo, con il giusto compromesso tra tradizione e modernità. Piatti davvero davvero buoni, sapore di pesce autentico ed elegante. È uno di quei ristoranti dove dici “qui ci torno”. Unico suggerimento, nei primi le quantità di pesce potrebbero essere aumentate visti i prezzi. Mi sta bene pagare 48€ il piatto di linguine all’astice, mi piacerebbe trovare dei pezzi in più di pesce! ad ogni modo complimenti

25/11/2025Esperienza deludente e inaccettabile. Abbiamo speso oltre 100€ a testa, con tavoli talmente ravvicinati da non avere neanche lo spazio per muoversi. Il cibo è stato mediocre, decisamente non all’altezza dei prezzi proposti. Avevamo segnalato in anticipo un’allergia al lattosio — informazione confermata anche al momento dell’ordine — ma non è stata minimamente considerata. Per un compleanno non sono riusciti a proporre neanche un dessert senza lattosio, e addirittura hanno portato la candelina su un cannoncino alla crema… ovviamente non consumabile dalla festeggiata. Prezzi fuori mercato (un semplice calice di vino a 16€), servizio disattento e nessuna cura per le esigenze dei clienti. Pessima esperienza: non torneremo e sconsigliamo vivamente.

I canceled more than 3 hours before my reservation, yet I recently discovered that the restaurant still charged my credit card €100. Tartar di tonno misera e senza gusto, Spaghetti alle vongole nella media e Fritto misto scarso visto il posto Diciamo che mi aspettavo molto di più. Ero stato un paio di volte al Bistrot e ero rimasto più contento. Manca la mano del padrone e un po’ più di cura e qualità nei piatti non so se tornerò.

02/11/2025Undoubtedly they use excellent ingredients in this historical Milan restaurant. The recipes, while not adventurous, are not banal or routine and vaunt a touch of modernity and creativity. It is a sort of elevated and refined trattoria. However, the execution skills are not always in line with the quality of the ingredients. Notable failures were the (over)cooking of pasta in otherwise good and tasty tortelli ("cacio e pepe" with raw red prawns, lime and bottarga) and spaghetti with clams. A grouper, fresh and pleasant, was advertised as "crispy" but wasn't. A seafood fritto misto was the only perfectly executed dish. Because patisserie needs precision and here they don't shine in that department, we skipped desserts. The rooms and decor are beautiful and atmospheric. This is a large place with many people. Service is friendly but not always attentive and sometimes slightly chaotic, probably the same as things work in the cuisine. The result was a good but not outstanding meal. While I don't regret the experience, and portions are unusually generous at this level, at these prices I'm not sure a return would be worth the while.

21/10/2025I walked in at 7:30pm and was lucky to have a table. The restaurant was pretty packed and they open at 7pm. The waiter took a while to pass me the menu but everything went well after that. Food was great and the blue lobster linguine was reasonably priced. The raw fish and shellfish combination (5 kinds) was decent. I also could not resist the raw red prawn. Tiramisu was decent and not overly sweet. I was tempted to order the beef or veal but glad I stayed with seafood for my last dinner in Milan. I would come back here again if I’m in the area or if I can’t get a reservation at Langosteria Bistrot.

Prezzi troppo alti, da stellato, ma con un servizio per nulla all’altezza, disattento, molto confidenziale, non da ristorante di livello ma da pizzeria (parlo dei camerieri; il resto del personale di accoglienza e maitre invece all’altezza). tortelli cacio e pepe e un crudo di gambero rosso con lime e bottarga OTTIMI Zuppa francese di antipasto buona, così come i dolci. I piatti, per quanto ben presentati, non sono stati accompagnati da alcuna spiegazione o introduzione da parte del personale. Ci si va una volta nella vita, fine.

19/10/2025Food was well above Michelin standards but the atmosphere was relaxed and we had a great time with our waiter. We did not feel like we had to be quiet or do everything exactly the right way. We went for a lot of the expensive menu items, but in my opinion I think it was worth it. The linguine and scorpion fish were unbelievably good. Best pasta and cooked fish we have ever had.

15/10/2025Apparently was purchased by a private equity firm from the generations old owners. Not even close to the same. Feels like a PE run place. Soulless service, young not very experienced wait staff, Smaller menu and pretty stupid pricing . Whole branzino for 2 was €125. Approach w/ caution....

12/10/2025We visited for brunch and had the best beef capaccio, so fresh and savoury yet clean and citrusy with good olive oil. Took the patio seats facing the back, sun was out while air was cool, with Aperol Spritz in hand. A proper day out for lunch in Milan.

08/10/2025Had a wonderful lunch at Da Giacomo Milan. The seafood was incredibly fresh and flavorful, beautifully presented, and perfectly cooked. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Elegant atmosphere — a great spot for a relaxing and memorable lunch in Milan.

29/09/2025Γελάει ο κόσμος. Το παίζουν σοβαρό εστιατόριο και φέρνουν για 30 ευρώ πιάτο, 8 τορτελινια μετρημένα, χωρίς καμία υπερβολή. Ποτήρι κρασί το πιο φθηνό στα 16 ευρώ. Μόνο η εξυπηρέτηση ήταν καλή.
