Skip the bruschetta trio that was like 24€, the carbonara was so so so heavy but the Milanese cutlet was good. Service was honestly so slow, they were busy and only had 3 workers but it took like 20 mins for us to get water. The restaurant also smelled like cigarettes occasionally, maybe because of smokers outside.

We were sat outside. Took what felt like forever to get a table (felt like the waiters were moving in reverse with getting the tables cleaned and ready). We ordered the €54 reenforced menu and a bottle of the Cabernet Sauvignon. We were STARVING and it’s safe to say that I got full real quick once the second meal (the carbonara) came out. The meatballs were nice. The carbonara was edible but the tiramisu was a little disappointing. It looked and felt like it was rushed - the ladyfingers weren’t dipped in coffee like they should’ve been, and the mascarpone cream tasted just like whipped cream. We were also sat outside at around 21:00 so there wasn’t much people watching but you know what, I prefer that as I don’t want people staring at what I’m eating. Overall, an ok experience and the total for two people that ate until they couldn’t walk anymore and started with an empty stomach came to about €150 in total. More or less. It’s a nice touch that they also offer limoncello at the end once you’re finished. Free of charge

Such an overrated and extremely overpriced place. The carbonara was a joke but we couldn’t even laugh cause we paid 114€ in total to leave with half empty stomachs. The carbonara was absolutely basic, no taste, pasta was for sure not homemade and the sauce was not properly made. Also, they had burnt the pieces of guanciale, which btw were so tiny and so few that I was wondering whether they just put the leftovers from some other empty dish. The meatballs were tasteless and the meat had even a weird smell. The pomodoro pasta was for sure from a canned tomato sauce and very basic. The fried zucchini with garlic and mint were tiny and wrinkled like hell, and no mint or garlic was identifiable in the dish. And the broccoli was overcooked in the upper part so it was soggy and completely plain, no salt on it or any other taste. The portions were jokingly small (for the price). Overall, we paid 114 euros and left half empty and with a very bad first taste of Milan.

Great restaurant! We stopped in for lunch during our vacation and had an amazing experience. The carbonara was absolutely delicious and definitely the highlight of the meal. Carla was incredibly sweet and attentive, making everything even more enjoyable. We loved every course and would highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting!

Well, I have read a lot of glorifying reviews and that made me eager to visit this restaurant. But, to my disappointment, it is only very well advertised and more or less mediocre. Very polite staff, has to be mentioned, I felt very welcome and had a good experience thoroughly. But, the famous No.1 Carbonara is just ok for my taste -too much egg sauce. And the tiramisu also just fine but nothing special - i had better ones, tried some more elsewhere. Overpriced for what they offer, I paid 42 euros (for one person, just me) for a carbonara (the small size, which is enough for one person), a tiramisu and water.

Disappointed 😞! a) CARBONARA RIGATONI: I was looking forward to try a Carbonara made by Italians in Italy. Carbonara which was average: they put parmesan with pecorino together, the guanciale was overfried and cream got bitterish, not fresh pasta (probably Barilla?) and small portions for a 32€ plate. Honestly in Finland I eat 1000 times better carbonara at a price of 16€. Even my version done with pancetta is even better although I am not chef. b) The MEATBALLS just epic failure: mince meat with no herbs/spices and with indifferent in flavour tomato sauce (maybe fresh, but I am using San Marzano canned tomatoes and taste the same). c) ZUCCHINI ALLA SCAPECE: zucchini overfried ( they were black outside), mint only for decoration (no flavour), garlic somewhere hidden, too sour. d) Atmosphere: +/-. Nothing fancy, nothing special to justify at least the prices. In a narrow alley, few tables outside, few tables inside, broken toilet with no soap. Interior design decent, service polite mostly because they had to be. Unfortunately I fall victim of marketing (really why 4.6/5 guys and who voted them as No1?!) and I ended up paying about 70€ and leaving embarrassed with half-empty stomach. Never again!

Scam…10€ extra for Service, which wasn’t there basically. Just if your opinion of service is putting a bit of cheese on the pasta in front of the customer. We ordered for drinks a Coca Cola and water. The water never arrived until asking for it while eating again. Then the water bottle arrived, but no glass. Same for the woman sitting behind us. Nobody noticed, took a while until the service person came back to even be able to ask. Pasta small 25€ and medium 32€. Pasta was ok, but also not the best of Milan. I wouldn’t recommend

We enjoyed a fabulous lunch at Maccheroni , and Anna, our server, was very attentive and gave us some great advice about the wine and choice of food. First rate experience in Milan, gorgeous setting, we managed to sit in the shade outside and we enjoyed a couple of hours, indulging in the lovely food and vibe. Not to be missed if you are passing by.

The food was good and fresh, but nothing particularly memorable or exceptionally delicious. The biggest issue was the service. It was extremely slow and took forever to receive attention and our orders, which made the dining experience frustrating. I also did not enjoy the tiramisu. It was mostly bread and lacked the creamy texture that a good tiramisu should have. I couldn’t even finish it. What upset me the most was an incident while I was having dessert. I briefly went to the restroom, and when I returned, the waiter had placed glasses from other tables on my table. When I questioned it, she said that this was normal for her. I found that behavior shocking, impolite, and highly unprofessional. Because of the poor service and lack of professionalism, I definitely will not return and would not recommend this restaurant to others.

Ich kann die positiven Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Das Servicepersonal war nett, aber das Essen wirklich nicht gut. Wir hatten eine Vorspeisenplatte (sh. Foto) für jeweils 19€ pro Person, sprich 38€ insgesamt nur für die Vorspeise!! Das Baguette war trocken und fade. Das Omlette hat nicht gut geschmeckt und war kalt. Das Gemüse war ok - aber kalt. Das Bruschetta war in Ordnung, hat aber simpel nach Brötchen mit überbackenen Supermarkt-Ofenkäse geschmeckt. Die Salami und der Schinken waren nicht gut, ich habe bereits besseren in Discounter Supermärkten gegessen. Als Hauptspeise haben wir die Cabonara genommen. Sie war ebenfalls kalt und die Soße bereits angetrocknet. Ebenfalls nicht gut. Das schockierendste an dem Besuch war aber der Preis. Für die gebotene Qualität ist der Preis auf keinen Fall gerechtfertigt. Zudem wurden wir durchgehend von penetranten Straßenverkäufern belästigt. Hierfür kann das Restaurant nichts, spielt aber in die Bewertung bezüglich des Ambientes mit ein. Nicht empfehlenswert!!!!

Ein Highlight in Milano. Der Service war schnell, freundlich und egal wer gerade vorbei kam, er gab uns das Gefühl zuständig zu sein. Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Carbonara verdient wirklich das Lob, welches sie sich selbst auch geben. Auch mein Saltimbocca war hervorragend. Einzig, nachdem jeder Tisch besetzt war, wurde es schon etwas unruhiger. Doch das war wirklich zu verschmerzen. Gerne wieder

Tudo perfeito! Estávamos hospedados perto do restaurante e decidimos conhecer após ver as excelentes avaliações no Google Maps. A experiência superou nossas expectativas. Pedimos uma pasta ao pesto, uma carbonara e uma mantequilla y parmesano, e todos os pratos estavam simplesmente impecáveis: massas frescas, saborosas e muito bem executadas. Dá para perceber o cuidado em cada detalhe. Um agradecimento especial à Carla, que nos atendeu de forma impecável do início ao fim. He comida 4 amigas en este restaurante y la experiencia ha sido espectacular, tanto en cuanto a la comida como al trato. Destaco el servicio de Anna que nos ha atendido muy amablemente durante la comida y ha estado pendiente de que no los falte de nada. Hemos pedido una ensalada de calabacin para compartir y estaba muy bien y de segundo el rigatonnia la carbonara y ha sido la mejor coarbonara que hemos probado nunca

Приятна обстановка и любезно обслужване, но… бедно меню. Има паста, един вид, приготвена с два вида макарони, патладжан със сирене и горе долу това. Менюто, което е в профила на Google е подвеждащо. То не съществува, няма го, поне вечерно време не разчитайте на него. Обяснението, което ми дадоха бе, че всичко се е изяло на обяд. Две вечери подред беше така. Както и да е, персоналът беше много мил и им вдига оценката. Карбонарата беше ОК.
