The maritozzo is light and rich (tried pistachio and chocolate) The chocolate is very well balanced in terms of sweetness and form (in croissant & maritozzo) The staff is soooooo amazing, nice and their hospitality is sooo worming Went there 3 times and everytime happiness and deliciousness are what i expect and get 😇

24/05/2026Great little cafe with rich history, that has been sold recently to a big name fashion designer house, who, apparently, did their best not to change this place . Good for us. It's a quick stop for an espresso for Italians. They just play at the register, get their coffee and out on their way in about 5 minutes. For us, tourists, I would recommend to park at a small stand up table up front, get your coffee and some traditional Milanese rice cake . It's good and good to try something unique to the place you are visiting. Next day we opted for his Majesty Panettone. Heavenly 😍🤌. Rich, moist, aromatic. I enjoyed every last crumble of mine. This place worth a stop while exploring the beautiful city of Milan .

05/05/2026This café was a truly amazing experience. I’d definitely recommend ordering an espresso macchiato and enjoying it at the bar - it really adds to the atmosphere. The place is very elegant and a bit extravagant, but in a beautiful and authentic way. It feels like a true Italian experience. The desserts are also stunning and definitely worth trying. Highly recommended!

30/04/2026I was really disappointed with the breakfast. The croissant was dry, bland, and honestly not enjoyable at all, far from what you would expect in a place like this. The bill came to around 40 euros, which makes it even more frustrating. At that price point, you expect at least a decent breakfast experience, but instead there was neither good food nor any real satisfaction. Overall, it felt completely not worth the money. you’re mostly paying for the location, not the quality of what’s on the plate.

I ordered a cappuccino here and it was genuinely one of the best I’ve ever had — crafted in the true, authentic Italian style. Perfectly balanced, silky foam, rich espresso. No shortcuts, no gimmicks. The pastries are equally impressive — both beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. Everything feels intentional, from the presentation to the flavors. Whether you’re a coffee purist, a history buff, or just someone who appreciates a perfectly made Italian pastry, Marchesi 1824 is absolutely worth the visit. One of Milan’s true gems.

They have a seating in the back (kinda hidden hahaha the vibes is like if you know you know) they sells plenty of chocolate and fancy ah patisserie 🩷 in the front they have a cafe and standing bar which is cuteee! we ordered cappuccino & 2 little cake (which taste soo good but super small hahahaha)

09/12/2025Everything we ate was truly delicious. In general, it gets crowded, and on Saturday, December 6th, it was even busier. There was also a video shoot taking place inside, which caused a very long line at the cashier. Since the people filming inevitably captured customers in the frame, the man at the counter scolded us while we were paying. If you’re going to film, you should organize it on a less busy day, or limit the number of customers allowed inside during filming. However, overall, the staff were attentive and everything tasted amazing. 🎂

08/12/2025If you want to sit, don’t :) The place has only five tables, and you have to wait in a narrow hallway where people constantly walk by, which makes it quite chaotic. The food is okay, but the panettone is too expensive for us (€12). The worst part was that the waiter brought our receipt without asking, which felt very rude (we hadn’t been sitting for long). It would have been fine if he had politely asked whether we wanted anything else, but instead he just brought the receipt without saying a word.

24/11/2025Altho we didn't get and try anything we went inside to take a look - everything looked very exquisite and well prepared. The chocolates looked very delicious and I am definitely going back to get something from there if I visit Milan again. The place also has a good history of about 200 years so I recommend checking it out.

14/06/2026유명한 가게 두오모쪽 매장은 프라다매장 위에있는데 이곳은 주택가에 있는 느낌. 이 카페법인 자체를 프라다에서 인수했다던데 뭐 그만큼 고급지고 맛있고 가격도 좀 있는 곳이다. 밖에서보면 먹을자리가 안보이지만 들어가면 앉아서 먹을수있는 자리가있다. 달달하니 맛있는 메뉴가많으니 시켜볼만한데 서버분께 추천해달라해서 추천받은 메뉴를 시켰다. 고급진 고구마무스케잌같은데 부드럽고 은은한 달달함이 내 스타일이긴했다.

18/05/2026Quando passo da quelle parti è per me obbligo entrare a bere un caffè nella pasticceria "fiore all'occhiello" di Milano. Vado spesso da Marchesi in Montenapoleone perchè lavoro in Manzoni, ma andare in questa loro location mi fa tornare indietro e mi fa assaporare antichi ed unici sapori della raffinatezza di un tempo. Un attimo di pace nella caotica Milano. Adoro!

11/05/2026Przepyszne maritozzo. Wzięłam na wynos i było przepięknie zapakowane, jak pokazałam na drugim zdjęciu. Ten pakunek był do tego w torebce, więc łatwo było wziąć go ze sobą. Obsługa bardzo miła a klimat idealny. Na pewno tam wrócę.

05/05/2026Sono stato, assieme a mia moglie, durante il week end del primo maggio in questa pasticceria molto rinomata. Abbiamo preso due pasticcini e due caffe; i pasticcini erano molto molto buoni, anche se il prezzo della pasticceria mignon è differenziato se si tratta di pasticcini base crema o base frutta e questo ti obbliga, dato che si paga prima, di dover scegliere prima di avere visto bene cosa vorresti prendere. Detto questo piccolo inconveniente devo dire però che la pasticceria ha veramente una qualità molto alta. Giudizio completamente diverso per il caffè preso al bancone. Il caffè ci è stato servito in mezzo ad un sacco di tazze e tazzine dei clienti precedenti non sbarazzate, con il bancone pieno di anche di piatti delle brioche mangiate in precedenza dando l'impressione di bere il caffè nello sporco. Oltre a ciò uno dei due baristi aveva la divisa sporca alimentando l'idea di un posto che non ha come valore la pulizie e il servizio al cliente. Proverò di nuovo sperando si sia trattato di un incidente. Giudizio non positivo fino ad ora, nella speranza di cambiarlo in futuro.

Maar de mevrouw met de grote zwarte bril stapte direct op mij af toen ik klaar was met eten en presenteerde mij met de rekening. Ik kon niet even rustig blijven zitten, jammer. Ik stond binnen 15 minuten weer buiten.

17/02/2026Mi servo da Marchesi da mezzo secolo, ma ultimamente non ne azzecco una. Per due volte ci siamo sono trovati in mano u n croissant vecchio. Quasi stantio, finito nel cestino, seppure con discrezione, per non nuocere a un luogo storico di Milano, gremito di turisti stranieri in pellegrinaggio.. La prima volta ho pensato che un incidente può capitare anche ai migliori. Ma la seconda volta a distanza di due giorni è un pessimo segnale. Che peccato. A questo punto mi limiterò a Biffi, Gobino e San Carlo, dove i croissant sono sempre impeccabili.

C’est bon mais prix bien trop élevés pour ce qui est servi : 13€ la part de panettone qui est bon sans être exceptionnel, idem pour le cappuccino bon mais juste plus cher qu’ailleurs. La boutique est jolie, la salle sans intérêt. Service sympathique. Bref, beaucoup plus sympa d’aller chez Cova.

Prezzo decisamente alto Il Locale avrebbe bisogno di una rinfrescata, si può tenere la tradizione con alcuni cambiamenti, troppo pieno di prodotti che intralciano il passaggio, scomodo, piccolo, disorganizzato. Il personale gentile e carino Purtroppo davvero tutto disorganizzato, alla cassa domande inutili sul prodotto da scegliere.

Vengo a sapere che non è mai arrivato, dopo che il corriere aveva chiesto e ricevuto dal destinatario un'integrazione del prezzo di trasporto. Ho telefonato al negozio e mi hanno detto che per loro era consegnato e non potevano verificare perche "i data base cancellano i dati". I prezzi sono alti, l'inconvenientenenla mia spesa non sono stati nemmeno presi in considerazione. Ho buttato via 95 euro e a mia cugina non ho fatto arrivare nessun regalo.Il mio giudizio è negativo.

26/10/2025Vraiment décevant. Malgré son ancienneté à Milan, ce n’est clairement pas la meilleure adresse. Très peu de places assises, une ambiance de restauration rapide : on prépare, on mange, on paye, et c’est fini. Les prix sont excessifs, on paie surtout un prestige d’autrefois qui n’a plus lieu d’être. Mieux vaut s’éloigner un peu du centre touristique : vous y trouverez des boulangeries bien meilleures, à des prix bien plus raisonnables.

20/10/2025Breve storia triste. Ci sediamo nella saletta interna, storica forse ma piccolina e senza finestre. Visto il menu, dopo diversi minuti di attesa per ordinare, chiedo: cosa sono Le marchesine (5 eur da Menu) perché non le conosco? Risposta: è una pastina a Pistacchio o Fragola, ma vado a chiedere cosa è rimasto... ... è rimasto il Pistacchio Ok mi porti quella a pistacchio. Arriva l'ottima marchesina al Pistacchio, una piccola monoporzione che termina in poche cucchiaiate, davvero buona direi. Alla cassa scopro che la piccola Marchesina, che pensavo fosse un dolcino da 5 eur è in realtà una monoporzione dal modico prezzo di 15 euro. Peccato che sul menu Le Marchesine da 15 euro non ci siano ma si fa riferimento generico a Monoporzioni da 13/16 euro. Fine della storia. Locale storico, certamente affascinante in location centrale sí, ma abbastanza trafficata. Personale molto gentile, ma alla fine per ordinare si attende, si attende si attende...e le info sono imprecise. Un plauso a chi alla Cassa mi ha giustamente ammonito che "La marchesina costa 15€, quello da asporto costa 12€", come non saperlo. Ps: per chi volesse provarla, La Marchesina da 5 eur è un mignon di 2x2 cm. Immagino sia buonisssimo.
