14/06/2026This is an okay place to visit. It’s cool because you have views of the Galleria but other than that it was okay. The staff here aren’t that helpful, I decided to do standing dining and the staff member didn’t tell me how I can order. After I paid she didn’t tell me that I need to give the receipt to the counter so I was waiting for them to just call out my order. Lastly, the pastry she recommended was this pastry and vanilla filling. The vanilla filling was good but the pastry was dry.

13/06/2026Overrated and overpriced. The box of baci di dama looked beautiful, but the biscuits were disappointing and did not taste fresh. Definitely not worth the premium price. The staff was rather unfriendly. The espresso, however, was excellent.

11/06/2026Excellent café with a beautiful atmosphere and outstanding service. The food and coffee were excellent, and the location is truly unique. A special thanks to Abdeljalil, who was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful throughout our visit. He made the experience even more enjoyable and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Highly recommended, and I will definitely visit again when I return to Milan.

10/06/2026Tourist trap - avoid!!! Charged us €7.50 for water... The panettone was super mediocre. The hot chocolate was good at first but you feel sick after the whole cup. The ambiance was cute but not worth the bad food and price.

The luxurious surroundings, attentive and courteous staff, and exquisite afternoon tea made for a memorable afternoon. Every cake was beautifully crafted and a delight to the palate. 08/06/2026The most overpriced tourist trap I found so far. The service was good, actually too good. We ordered desserts and lemonade, the waiter presented each of us the (250ml) lemonade bottles as they were expensive wine bottles at a dinner. He even did the entire ritual with pouring just a little bit to try it... I don't know if he was serious with this. However, the lemonade was ok, good whiskey priced, but ok. The desserts on the other hand, were absolutely nothing special. The service and prices are creating expectations, that the kitchen can not meet.

Located in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II above the Prada store, it makes the experience even more special. There’s a wide selection of pastries, all looking very refined, and the quality is excellent. If you want to sit down, you may have to wait around 10 minutes for a table, but it’s worth it. You can enjoy a coffee with a delicious croissant or pastry while watching the shoppers passing below from the gallery. The atmosphere is truly unique and memorable.

I visited specifically because I had read so many reviews praising the friendly and helpful service, and I was excited to try one of the cream-filled pastries. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite. I was sent between different counters and staff members multiple times, with nobody clearly explaining where I needed to order. After eventually paying, I was then told that the pastry I had come for was no longer available. When I expressed my disappointment, I was told that I should have checked availability before ordering, which felt unfair given that I was relying on staff guidance throughout the process. I was then offered an alternative item, but by that point I had already spent a significant amount of time waiting and trying to work out where I was supposed to be. The whole experience was confusing, stressful and unnecessarily frustrating. I appreciate that popular items sell out, but what disappointed me most was the way the situation was handled. A simple apology and clearer communication would have made a huge difference. It’s a shame because I had been really looking forward to visiting and expected the warm, helpful service described in so many other reviews.

Went for some coffees and cakes in the morning, were seated on a dirty table outside (literally not prepared or cleaned) then when we sat indoors instead to sit on a larger table the waiter/worker came over and asked how many were sitting, to which we replied 2 and the waiter/worker then pulled an unsavoury face and asked us to sit near the till for two people (I don’t mind sitting on a smaller table but the shop was empty inside) so there was no reason for their “rude abruptness”. I was able to find a better, more welcoming place for a morning bite instead.

25/05/2026Very disappointing experience at Marchesi. We waited nearly 50 minutes for a table, only to watch multiple people being allowed in for standing coffee while we were still waiting. No one clearly explained the system to us. To make things worse, the server never informed us that lunch service had started and that coffee wouldn’t be served at that time. It honestly felt like they prioritized quick standing customers over those waiting for a table. After almost an hour, we ended up leaving without eating. When we raised our concerns, there was no apology—just an argument. The server even claimed she had told us to leave and come back after 3:30 pm, which was never clearly communicated. We wasted 1 hour and left with hungry cranky kids to next door cafe to eat. Poor communication, lack of basic courtesy, and very frustrating overall. Definitely not the level of service you’d expect. Would never recommend to anyone.

The space has been exceptionally well preserved and is perfectly functional you can clearly see the care for tradition. We really enjoyed the experience! The cakes have a strong, aromatic taste, exactly as authentic desserts should be. Highly recommended for an elegant break.

18/05/2026Marchesi’s might be the best hot chocolate I’ve ever tried. The atmosphere is lovely and the place offers a wonderful view of the mall. Service is good, and we waited for only around 5 minutes to be seated. Would love to go back again!

We also tried the ice cream and it was fantastic. Creamy, full of flavor, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. It was the perfect treat to enjoy with a coffee break. The café itself is beautiful and elegant, with a classic Milanese atmosphere that makes the whole experience feel a bit special. Great service, great coffee, and delicious gelato — an easy 5/5.

16/05/2026I find it a bit overrated. Yes, it’s beautiful and well located, but very poorly organized. At 11 a.m., we were told that breakfast would only be served standing up and that we couldn’t sit down. The pastries were just okay, and the cappuccinos were cold. Overall, it’s an experience worth trying only once.

06/05/2026Lovely place with mouth watering bakeries and great coffees. Perfect stop after visiting Duomo Di Milano which could take up to a couple of hours. The only hiccup might be the staff who seemed friendly at first but then they leave us for our own and we were confused how we can order bakery or how to pay the bill (our first visit to Italy and not quite familiar with cafes micro-culture). It is quite possible that they were busy and couldn’t have time to handle all the customers.

09/01/2026The food was amazing. I had a wonderful experience. I came straight away from Qatar and this was the first coffee I had plus the sweets are magnificent and astonishing. Plus, what made my experience even fascinating is AbdulJaleel he made me feel welcomed, and that really made my day. I wished all the waiters across the globe treats. The people like him, not gonna lie. I am coming back again and again and again.

14/06/2026비토리오 에마뉴엘레 2세 갤러리아 프라다매장 위에 위치한 카페로 다양한 디저트를 판매하는곳. 프라다에서 이곳을 인수했다는데 그만큼 실력있는곳이긴하다. 직원들도 친절하고 맛도 좋다. 이곳에서 밀라노가 속한 롬바르디아 지역의 스파클링 와인을 시키니 같이먹을 간단한 디저트도 함께 주어서 생각보다 배도 불렀다. 그리고 와인도 꽤 많이 주시고 그전에 상태 점검할겸 테스트로 한잔 주신다. 가격이 좀 있지만 다 만족스러웠던곳. 창가 자리가 인기가 많을텐데 약간 운이 좋아야 갈수있다.

14/06/2026프라다 매장 2층에 있고 엘리베이터나 계단을 타고 올라갈 수 있음. 2층에서 내려다 보면 가장 좋은 위치임을 금방 알 수 있음. 빵과 커피, 아이스크림이 있고 첫날은 밤늦게 가게되어 한산했지만 다음날은 오후 식사 때 가니 고객이 매우 많았음. 스탠딩 테이블만 가능하다고 하여 먹지는 못했음.

03/06/2026طلبت قهوة V6 لا اعتقد ان تحضيرهم للقهوة يلامس الاحترافية والقواعد الصحيحة وهذا امر مستغرب من محل له هذه الشهرة . فالبارستا لم يصب صبة الترطيب الاولى المنفصلة . وقام بعصر المحقن الورقي بما فيه من بن بعد انتهاء سكب كمية الماء وهذا سبب طعم المرارة الواضح في القهوة

01/06/2026Çok otantik bir ortam. Signature tatlıları Aurora epey lezzetliydi. Ancak mekana oturunca fiyatlar çok daha pahalı oluyo. 2 kahve 1 su 2 pastaya 45 Euro ödedik mesela. Biraz abartı geldi bize ama deneyim dedik devam ettik yolumuza :)

31/05/2026Inaccettabile. Accoglienza al locale pretenziosa ma inefficiente. Abbiamo atteso al bancone che i due baristi terminassero di parlare tra loro per scoprire che avremmo dovuto fare prima lo scontrino. Alla cassa (non individuabile con facilità) non c'era nessuno. Finalmente riusciamo. Chiediamo due caffè e due baci di dama. Il barista ci dice che per i dolci dobbiamo rivolgerci al banco dedicato. Ovviamente era deserto. Nel frattempo i due caffè erano a freddarsi sul bancone. Dopo aver chiesto se ci fosse qualcuno, hanno chiamato il pasticcere dal retro che non era in grado di descriverci alcuni dolci esposti (!) . Comunque dopo aver bevuto il caffè ormai freddo abbiamo mangiato il bacio di dama ed è stata una delusione profonda: frolla assolutamente mediocre e farinosa. Costo € 9,40. Non ci sono parole. Tutto nome e nessuna sostanza.

I pasticcini mignon sono dei piccoli gioielli (belli da vedere e ottimi da mangiare), il caffè è della miscela storica e i lievitati (cornetti e veneziane) sono soffici e ben sfogliati. Nota di merito per il loro celebre panettone, disponibile tutto l'anno. Non è "la migliore pasticceria del mondo" in assoluto, ma lo standard è decisamente alto.

19/05/2026Marchesi e' un locale storico di Milano, dove si respira l'aria della Belle Epoque. Il servizio e' molto attento e curato, bellissima la sala con vista sulla Galleria. E' un luogo dove ancora il personale si assincera che tutto vada bene. Ci siamo fermati per una pausa e abbiamo atteso circa 5 minuti per il tavolo, i caffe' shakerati erano veramente ottimi. Prezzi altini per la consumazione al tavolo, ma per la location e il servizio ci puo' stare.

19/05/2026Nel cuore di Milano, ambiente molto raffinato con vista sul centro della Galleria. Piatti particolari, ma molto buoni come il risotto al limone verde, i tagliolini con i gamberi rossi e come secondo gustosi anche il polipo e il filetto di manzo. Non da meno i dolci, squisita la mattonella di cioccolato. Per le grandi occasioni ne vale proprio la pena. Meglio prenotare per tempo. Purtroppo dal parcheggio a pagamento a piedi ci vogliono circa 10 minuti, ma si fanno volentieri.

09/05/2026Semplicemente bello. Per un caffè fronte galleria va benissimo, se poi ti siedi al tavolo oppure consumi anche solo delle brioches diventa costoso davvero in maniera eccessiva, attenzione...ma l'ambiente lo merita.

Inoltre, i prezzi sono decisamente esagerati per quello che offre: sembra la classica trappola per turisti. Unico punto positivo: la location è molto bella

06/07/2019Marchesi è uno dei locali storici di Milano che vale la pena visitare. Lo frequentiamo da molti anni e ci siamo trovati sempre benissimo. Il servizio è sempre rapido, cortese ed attento ai bisogni del cliente. Col passare del tempo la clientela è andata aumentando (soprattutto quella mordi e fuggi) e se si vuole mangiare è sempre meglio prenotare il tavolo. Molto spesso vediamo code lunghe fin sulle scale in attesa del turno per entrare. Il prezzo che fa sempre tanto scandalo è commisurato alla location (stupenda, con vista sulla galleria), al servizio ed alla qualità degli ingredienti usati.
