Fuimos a la terraza de la azotea a comer. El sitio muy bonito, la comida sin más. Celebramos una despedida 20 personas a 36€ cada una, con barra libre de vino, vermú, cerveza y refrescos, durante 2 horas. Después podíamos continuar 1 hora y media más pagando las consumiciones. Al cumplir el tiempo de la barra libre, vinieron a retirarnos dos botellas de vino blanco que tenían menos de la mitad. Dicen que las acabábamos de pedir pero llevaban buen rato en la mesa. Mi primer experiencia en hostel, y lo súper recomiendo porque está ubicado muy bien, son súper amables todos los chicos desde recepción hasta los chicos de la terraza , cuando me tocó ir a desayunar me prepararon especial mis tostadas sin gluten, con todo el cuidado que conlleva. Una de las chicas de la barra también me recomendó un lugar donde comer y fue perfecto. Todo es muy lindo las habitaciones, las personas súper amabales. Vayan es súper recomendable

Minha segunda vez me hospedando aqui e super recomendo. Confortável (tem elevador), extremamente bem localizado um rooftop bem agitado o de todo mundo se encontra lá, os funcionários educados e muuuitas opções e atividades legais!! Fiz workshop de Sangria e recomendo, além do rolê do Pubcrown também

El hostel está bastante bien ubicado, a solo pasos de plaza mayor, restaurantes y el metro Sol. Dormí en una habitación compartida, todo estuvo bien pero falta más privacidad tipo “cortina” en las camas.. ya que en mi caso, me tocó en la parte de arriba del camarote, justo donde se enciende la luz principal de la habitación y de madrugada llegaron chicas que encendieron la luz y esta me dio enciende la cara… fue un mal rato. Pagué extra por el desayuno buffet, que si bien no fue de lujo, estuvo ok. El servicio del lugar fue amable, pues cuando ya dejaba el hostel para irme al aeropuerto, me ayudaron consiguiendo un taxi.

Went with my family (husband and adult children) and had a wonderful experience. Lovely building, clean room with everything we needed, beautiful rooftop bar and restaurant with delicious food. The best part was the staff, incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, helpful! I wish we had more time to take part in the events that were offered.

I’ve stayed here twice now when visiting Madrid. The rooms are super clean, and I love how private the bunks are. The team are really friendly, and it’s in a really great location. I stay as a solo-female traveller and felt safe both times!! ✈️

The rooms and beds are great and the roof terrace offers really nice views. The location in the center of Madrid is also great and allows to walk pretty much everywhere. However, I was missing some meeting rooms which would offer a bit more of a social atmosphere to the hostel. Also, I dislike the dynamical prices, 20EUR/night/pp is totally fine 50EUR/night/pp is super expensive and I couldn't recommend staying there during high pricing days.

카운터 직원들이 활기차고 한국어로 인사도 해줘서 기분 좋은 체크인. 6인실 머물렀고 침구도 아늑했다. 내부에 화장실 있었지만 사람 많을때는 공용 화장실 이용이 편했다. 객실에서 아쉽다면 커튼이 사다리전까지만 닫힌다는 것. 지하1층 부엌도 깨끗했고 데일리 이벤트가 많은듯. 1층에 펍있어서 왁자지껄. 마요르광장 코앞이고 솔광장 7분거리. 12시까지 하는 까르푸 앞에 있어 완전 편함 까르푸 크로와상 너무 맛있어요. 프라이빗 행사로 루프탑 못간게 아쉬워요.

Hemos estado ya varias veces en The Hat Madrid y la experiencia cada vez es mejor que la anterior. Aparte de lo obvio de inmejorable ubicación, comodidad y funcionalidad de las habitaciones, lo más destacable es la amabilidad y el apoyo que te brinda en todo momento el personal del hotel. Siempre están ahí para ayudarte, solucionarte cualquier incidencia y hacerte recomendaciones. Y todo ello con pasión y entusiasmo. No hay duda de que repetiremos (si hay disponibilidad) en la próxima visita a Madrid.

Uno de los mejores hostel en los que estuve, no solo las instalaciones están increíblemente bien mantenidas sino que la atención fue excelente desde el primer día. Viví la experiencia en habitación individual y compartida y las dos excelentes. La única sugerencia de mejora es que sería bueno que hagan más hincapié a los huéspedes que compartirán habitación sobre las pautas de convivencia, me pasó de que se bañen a la 1AM o prendan las luces en cualquier horario sin importar la comodidad del otro. Nada que dependa del hostel, sino la cultura de cada uno. Recomiendo 20/10.

Las habitaciones y la ubicación del hotel muy bien,pero los trabajadores… ¿Por qué tiene que entrar un hombre “ a comprobar si funciona la jabonera” llamando sin que dé tiempo a contestar y abriendo la puerta del tirón? Somos una habitación de 8 CHICAS, las cuales 3 estábamos en la habitación, una en el baño y otra semi desnuda, y el tío iba directo para el baño. Para colmo baja una compañera a decirlo en recepción le cuenta la situación y la de recepción se ha “reído” al decirle como estábamos y como ha entrado el compañero. Súper surrealista vamos.

Had a great stay during Semana Santa as a solo female traveler. Facilities were clean and comfortable, staff members were lovely from the front desk to the rooftop cafe, and the location is super walkable near Plaza Mayor. I even had courteous dorm mates that made the experience that much better. Can’t wait to visit again next time I’m in Madrid. Thank you for a restful and relaxing stay!

I had the best time at The Hat in Madrid. The vibe was super welcoming from the start, and the location is perfect. My favorite spot was definitely the terrace—it was always sunny with the best music playing. I Shazamed at least one song every time I was up there. The bar crawl was another highlight. It was such a fun and easy way to meet people and explore the nightlife with a group, especially traveling solo. Overall, I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a friendly, social place in Madrid.

Los cuartos muy limpios y las camas increiblemente comodas. El personal está atento y con buena onda todo el tiempo. Tiene buenas zonas comunes, para cocinarse comida o conocer a otras personas. Arriba del todo la terraza es divina y perfecta para un plan de noche. Está muy bien ubicado, a unos pasos de la Plaza Mayor y unas cuadras de la Gran Vía. Resalto la comodidad y buena atención!!

Above average big city hostel. Rooms were nice and ensuite bathroom is convenient. There’s additional bathrooms down the hall. Beds were very comfortable and had ample storage and decent privacy. Bathrooms were kept very clean. I wish there were more social activities for solo travelers besides the sangria workshop/pub crawl (i.e. an activity that doesn’t involve drinking), especially given how much a dorm bed costs. Location is great, a very short walk to Plaza Mayor, major attractions, and some metro stops.

El sitio es precioso,muy chulo pero el servicio, en una reserva de una boda que se hizo, ha dejado bastante que desear. Las bandejas de comida las dejaban sin tener en cuenta el número de personas, con lo cual a unos les llegaba todo a otros nada. La vichyssoise sosa y aguada, los torreznos mediocres. Geweldige hostel. Ik reisde voor het eerst alleen. Ik had een slaapzaal voor 6 vrouwen en dat viel echt goed mee. De box waarin ik sliep, bood voldoende privacy. En iedereen probeerde stil te zijn 's nachts. Er was muziek tot 23u30, maar dat stoorde niet. Het bed lag echt geweldig. Het ontbijt was bescheiden, maar echt lekker! Het personeel was supervriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam. Ook de centrale ligging vlak aan het Plaza Mayor was een enorme plus. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!!!!

Location deserves a 6+ rating as it is fantastically situated in a central location. We travelled as a large group and the Hat were extremely accommodating to have as many of our beds in the same rooms as possible. Shout out to Sylvia and the rest of the team! If you're looking for a hostel in Madrid: home is where you hang your Hat!!

Todo el personal de este hostal es increíblemente amable. Siempre están prestos para proporcionar una ayuda y orientación al huésped. La limpieza del lugar es buena tanto en las habitaciones como en los baños. Desde que llegué encontré mi cama limpia y ordenada para que pudiera disponer de ella. El desayuno es el típico de un hostal pero bueno y puedes repetir cuantas veces quieras. En resumen: volvería a hospedarme aquí. La ubicación del hostal es perfecta, se puede llegar a los sitios de interés turístico a pie o si prefieres usar el metro o bus también están cerca las estaciones. Recomiendo ampliamente The Hat. Aprovecho para agradecer al personal por todas sus atenciones.

An sich sehr schon es ist gut eingerichtet und so weiter sehr modern. Die Zimmer sind okay, bei uns gab es nur ein Fenster wo fast keine Luft durch gekommen ist. Die Badezimmer waren sehr sauber. Die Lage ist wirklich sehr sehr gut, man kann alles zu Fuß erreichen. Das Frühstück war nicht gut und es gab zu wenig Auswahl.

Fuimos 6 amigas y quedamos encantadas. Destacaria el personal, tanto de recepción como camareras, nos ayudaron y facilitaron nuestra instancia dándonos información y buena atención. La ubicación perfecta para moverte por Madrid centro. El colchón de las literas perfecto.

地點非常的方便到各個景點走路都可以到，鄰近主廣場附近還有有名的魷魚三明治，地鐵走路5分鐘，服務人員超級熱情早餐也好吃，尤其是烘蛋，可惜很快就被拿光了補貨，速度比較慢一點房間蘇軾床頭還有貼心的手機架

6 kişilik odada kaldım. odaların temizligi vs gayet iyiydi ancak odalar biraz küçüktü. sosyal imkanlarını çok deneyimleyemedim ancak çok etkinlik yok gibiydi. ortak tuvaletleri temizdi ancak duşların temizligi daha iyi olabilirdi.

The location is excellent, but unfortunately that is the only positive. My room was located in a section where I had to walk into another part of the floor just to access the toilet and shower. Even worse, there was only one functioning female bathroom/shower for the entire floor, as the other one was broken. This is extremely inconvenient and completely unacceptable, especially as this is not mentioned anywhere in the room description. The shower system: You have to keep pressing the shower button every few seconds just to keep the water running, which makes taking a shower not the best experience. The rooms themselves are cold and loud, every movement and noise carries. On top of that, the room had a strong, unpleasant smell that made the stay uncomfortable. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this hostel unless these issues are clearly disclosed and properly addressed.

Hostel social con terraza destacada The Hat Madrid es una muy buena opción si buscás un hostel con perfil social y bien ubicado. Las habitaciones son algo pequeñas y no cuenta con demasiados espacios comunes, pero lo compensa con la energía del lugar. El personal aporta una onda muy positiva y suelen organizar eventos que facilitan conocer gente y generar ambiente. El gran diferencial es su terraza: un bar muy bien logrado, con música y tragos, ideal para cerrar el día o arrancar la noche. Recomendable especialmente para quienes viajan solos y buscan movimiento, más que tranquilidad absoluta.
