Food and drinks were fantastic. Quite special cocktails. However this Indian waiter was very very rude. Snatched menus out of our hands before we were even done ordering. Treated us very rudely throughout the whole meal. Asked the manager for his name and refused to let us know his real name and provided us with a fake name ‘Ryan’. Absolutely terrible service but the view was decent at sunset. Disgusting service for the price we paid. Don’t recommend.

It was very busy so service was a little slow. I thought our waiter was nice but my parents thought he seemed to look down on us. I’m not sure I’d go back.

Me and my girlfriend was here to celebrate my birthday. All I can say is that the experience was fantastic. The service was the best I’ve had in Italy. The food was superb, and the views were the best in Rome. Cannot recommend it enough.

What an absolutely picturesque location, giving stunning views from this roof top terrace bar. Nothing says luxury dining quite like canceling a Mother’s Day reservation months in the making because your guests didn’t respond to a 2-hour credit card ultimatum while actively traveling internationally with no service. Very warm. Very hospitable. Very ‘we hope you enjoy wandering Rome hungry.’ Go to dilla instead- it was Amazing and half the price. We even went to the front desk at 1pm to explain the situation in person and were still denied — only for them to magically extend the reservation after we left a review. Fascinating how flexibility suddenly appears once public accountability enters the chat. At this point the hardest thing to swallow wasn’t the food, it was the customer service. Rome is full of incredible restaurants with actual hospitality — save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else.

Needlessly cancelled reservation after months of planning. After awaiting a Mother’s Day dinner for several months and following up several times, this establishment ridiculously cancelled our reservation the day before because we didn’t provide a credit card we had ALREADY provided within a 2 hour provided window while we were without cellular traveling abroad. Incredible useless, touristy, and overpriced restaurant, you are better off going anywhere else in Rome since they will cancel on you for no reason if you even try to go

Extremely disappointing experience. We tried calling multiple times and also sent messages, but received absolutely no response in any form. When we arrived, we were simply told they were “fully booked” and not allowed in without a reservation. A rooftop venue of this kind should handle customer communication far more professionally. Ignoring repeated calls and messages, only to turn people away at the door, is rude, disorganized, and highly unprofessional. It is not the fact that they were fully booked that is the problem, but the complete lack of communication and basic courtesy. Customers should at least be given the chance to know the situation beforehand. Very poor service and extremely bad customer management.

We opted for the full tasting menu, and unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had. The dishes lacked balance — either overloaded with too many competing flavors or completely tasteless. The risotto and pasta were especially disappointing; both were so poorly executed that we couldn’t even finish them. Considering we paid around €400, it felt like a complete waste. We kept hoping the desserts might redeem the evening, but sadly, they were just as underwhelming. On a positive note, the drinks were well made, and the hostesses and terrace staff were genuinely lovely and attentive — they were the highlight of the experience. That said, the food itself was a major letdown. Based on this visit, we wouldn’t return. Please consider changing the chef.

I booked this restaurant for my birthday because I thought I would be dining on a rooftop while enjoying the sunset. However, a few hours before, I received a whatsapp message saying that dinner would actually take place inside the hotel restaurant, with only the possibility of having dessert on the terrace. This made no sense to me because when I called to reserve beforehand, I had been told that the reservation would be on the rooftop. Since I was confused, I replied to their whatsapp message to ask if it might still be possible to have a table on the terrace, especially as it was my birthday. I never received any answer even though I also tried to call them. In the end, we spent the entire evening inside the hotel restaurant and never even got to see the rooftop. The menu was also extremely limited. Normally I do not mind a small menu and I am used to that kind of “chef experience” restaurant. But when 3 out of the 5 main dishes included seafood and I am allergic, I barely had any choice. I ended up ordering the beef skirt steak, and it arrived looking like a portion for a small dog. It was full of sinew, impossible to cut, and after struggling with it for several minutes, I asked for a better knife. They brought me what genuinely looked like an IKEA knife (attached). For the price of this restaurant, I was expecting a steak knife, not something that looked like it belonged in a student apartment. At that point, honestly, I wanted to leave. But I felt awkward because it was not really the waitress’s fault, and she was actually one of the only good parts of the experience. I also did not want to risk being charged the €50 no-show fee if we walked out. Desserts were equally tragic. Very few options and none of them tempting, so we decided to leave without even trying one. The restaurant was almost empty, nobody acknowledged that it was my birthday, and overall it felt like paying a lot of money for a very disappointing experience. Maybe there was a misunderstanding somewhere, but unfortunately I would not recommend it.

i reserved your restourant for my wedding anniversary because of roof-got mail last day-dinner will be on the ground floor- toilet-interesting but toilet is the most important thing for the restaurant! you have *ONLY ONE* cabinet for both man and woman-it was very dirty-there were not even paper to use after washing my hands and found sonewhere in the room red napkin for drying my hands! on the roof there was a guy we asked for pepper napkin when we were tryin our desert on the roof-he brought but he was so rude my wife schocked many of them but i can remember 3 of them really bad experience

The view is absolutely beautiful and the atmosphere is really lovely. However, the experience was slightly overshadowed by the attitude of the person seating guests, which made us feel somewhat unwelcome. That said, Alex was very friendly and provided great service, which we truly appreciated. Overall, it’s a nice place, but the initial impression could definitely be improved to make guests feel more comfortable and valued.

It was first time to visit Rome and I was amazed by the beautiful places and tourist spots especially Orobistrot Restaurant with an excellent panoramic view. The staff were so accommodating and very approachable. Especially the Managers of F&B Management. Food were excellent and Estaba MUY RICA! Mi gusta mucho la comida. The staff were attentive and specific about the food and drink that they serve. Especially Erdie very funny and cheerful, Arianne, and Alex they’re all friendly and amazing. My daughter booked this as a birthday treat. Right from the front door the hotel staff were so attentive and welcoming. Drinks and snacks were excellent and the sunset view was amazing. Evening was topped off by a complimentary birthday cheesecake. Particular thanks to Riyan for taking all our photos and the whole team for a very special evening. You almost always need to reserve a table here, but beware that doesn’t guarantee you a seat around the edge with the view. After initially being placed at the back next to the noisy bar the hostess did kindly move us at our request once another table vacated. The reservation form asks if it is a special occasion but there is no difference if it is. The drinks menu is high end prices, but the waiters happily recommend and discuss the list to aid your selection. As always in Italy a tray of small nibbles is complementary. Water is €6 for the 1litre carafe that arrives but on a warm night it is a necessity. Excellent atmosphere with music and the views do not disappoint. Definitely a night I will remember,

Che dire, io e mia moglie siamo stati sulla terrazza per la colazione durante la parata e il passaggio delle frecce tricolori il 2 giugno 2026. Avevo prenotato per caso perché mi ero imbattuto nella pubblicità online… Con 100 euro in due ci siamo goduti uno spettacolo di rara bellezza, da una posizione da favola, attorniati da un personale davvero gentile e premuroso, con una colazione da 5 stelle… Un esperienza che vale ben più di quanto abbiamo pagato. Una menzione speciale alla simpaticissima e gentilissima Giorgia, davvero una persona solare e gradevole.

Vi besökte Oro Bistro en kväll i Rom mest för utsikten, men blev faktiskt imponerade av hela upplevelsen. Vi testade deras egna signaturdrinkar som kostade 24 euro styck. Det är ganska dyrt, men drinkarna var riktigt välgjorda och hade smaker som stack ut jämfört med många andra ställen vi besökte under resan. Det som gjorde kvällen speciell var ändå atmosfären och utsikten över Rom i kvällsljus. Personalen var trevlig och stället hade en lugn och avslappnad känsla trots den exklusiva miljön. Ett perfekt ställe för en kvällsdrink om man vill kombinera bra cocktails med fantastisk vy över staden.

A FUIR ! Nous avions réservé un créneaux pour l'aperitivo. On nous installe. Au départ, RAS.. Cocktails à 25€, nous étions au courant mais nous attendions à un bon accueil et service ++ vu le tarif. Petite foccacia mortadelle sans AUCUN intérêt : 19€, inutile. On nous presse pour consommer + dès qu'un verre est vide, pression au max. Plein de chips super salées pour nous donner soif (clairement). En bref, un lieu 100% profit où seule la vue est un atout, autrement dit, rien puisque de nombreux autres rooftops beaucoup plus accueillants et moins chers existent. Un bien mauvais choix de notre part, malheureusement !

Vista bellissima , atmosfera piacevole se non fosse che avevamo prenotato alle 21:30 perché telefonicamente ci avevano dato solo quello slot disponibile. E il servizio era estremamente forzato per mandarci via il prima possibile, ci è stato chiesto se volessi il caffè o il dolce mentre ancora stavamo mangiando i primi . 300 euro di conto per vedere i camerieri spazzarci sotto i tavoli. Se volete andare per la vista fatelo ma andate presto così state tranquilli

Oro bistrot es un lugar con una vista impresionante. No te equivocas al venir aquí despues de tu investigación de rooftop en Roma. Tomemos en cuenta que es la terraza de un hotel en el piso 6. Considera que no todos se sientan en la orilla de la terraza y puede hacer frío. Pero pasando eso pasarás unas dos horas ( lo que dura tu reserva) de forma muy amena. Buena coctelería y cervezas. Aperitivos tal vez me dejaron que desear no descubrí ningún sabor nuevo o algo sorprendente.

Sehr viel Auswahl an schönen Getränken, Speisen sind eher nicht der Mittelpunkt ansonsten sehr schönes Ambiente und gute Location wenn man einmal mit Freunden in der umwerfenden Stadt Rom ist.

Posto molto bello come pochi a Roma, il personale è stato gentile e davvero tanto disponibile, in particolar modo Raiyan che grazie alla sua cordialità e simpatia ci ha fatto vivere una serata tranquilla ricca di spensieratezza❤️

Mekan mükemmel lokasyonda, manzarası çok iyi, antik ve modern Roma arasında adeta yemek yiyorsunuz. Garsonların ilgisi ve servis çok iyidi. Pahalı gelebilir ama Türkiye’de ortalama bir mekanda yiyeceğiniz yemeklerden çok daha lezzetli ve çok daha iyi atmosfere sahip. Kesinlikle tekrardan gidilir. Sadece akşam yemeği için düşünülmemesi gerekir

Le restaurant était excellent. Les pâtes étaient fraîches et goûteuse et Yaya est un excellent serveur. Il nous a bien fait rire et un met l’ambiance dans tout le restaurant.

Un endroit très sympa pour boire un verre en rooftop avec une superbe vue ! Nous n’avions pas de réservation mais le personnel a fait tout son possible pour nous accueillir malgré tout. L’équipe est tres gentille et serviable ! Un vrai plaisir, une adresse à retenir !

Abbiamo prenotato in questo rooftop per un aperitivo al tramonto con vista altare della patria. Una esperienza veramente unica e bellissima. Ambiente favoloso con personale molto professionale e disponibile. Tappa obbligatoria per chi va a roma e vuole godersi un tramonto da brividi.

Sitio increible si quieres ver una buena puesta de son con vistas al Palacio de Victor Manuel, pero preparate para sacar la cartera. La terraza tiene un consumo mínimo de 24€, con las bebidas de ponen un aperitivo de patatas fritas y aceitunas. Nosotros pedimos un capuccino y un té y fueron 30€ (10€ suplemento de terraza). Personal correcto y tienen estufas y mantas si hace frío. Pagas el sitio, un rooftop de un hotel 5*
