Delicious food, great wine, and expertly crafted cocktails! But the service put our experience over the top! Our waiters were not just friendly but were also very attentive and professional. I can't wait to come back and visit Naples again and will definitely come back to Vesuvio Roof Bar and Restaurant. Naples is by far one of my most favorite cities in Italy! ❤️

With a great location, on the rooftop of the NH Hotel near Napoli Centrale train station, Vesuvio offers a relatively small lunch menu, mostly of pizzas and few other dishes. While the setting is nice and relaxing, the pizzas we tried turned out to be rather mediocre. Service is friendly.

Amazing experience at Restaurant Vesuvio! I contacted them in advance to arrange a special dinner for my parents’ 30th wedding anniversary and they were so welcoming and happy to help. A big thank you to Francesco who was super responsive and made the whole arrangement so easy, really appreciated his help! My parents had such a lovely evening, the food and wine were amazing and they truly enjoyed every moment of it, especially with amazing view. So happy it all worked out perfectly. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Naples! 🍷

The experience fell short of expectations. The rooftop arrival is promising, with inviting barbecue aromas, but the food did not match. Menu descriptions were unclear, and the waiter couldn’t explain the beef cuts well. The recommended, most expensive option was served cold, which was disappointing given the visible grill. The rooftop view is nice, but the atmosphere lacked music or ambience. Overall, despite a strong concept and location, both the food and experience need improvement.

We ordered grilled swordfish and steak. Both came cold even though we could see the bbq fire from where we sit. Service was good but it was an overrated experience. Wouldn’t go there again. The price doesn’t justify the experience at all.

Excellent service and food but the price is also high. We had no reservation and couldn't get a table outside for the view at sunset, so if you want to make sure you get the view, probably best to make a reservation. Felt like we were important for the staff. Second time we went for drinks and they seemingly forgot to serve us until quite a while later.

Went here for a drink. There were like 3 groups in already and were served. We waited til the waitress went to ask for our drinks (a bottle of beer and a shot of baileys) and more than 10 mins passed, no drinks are coming! The place is not busy at all. So we decided to walk out and cancel our order. Poor service 🤦 The place could be a nice view for sunset.

We had a phenomenal time and the host greeted us as soon as we walked in. I believe the lead manager for the evening grabbed our order with much haste as he realized we were waiting. The staff were attentive and the vibes were amazing and we even had a chance to watch the sun set behind the views of the mountain. I can’t wait to come back and thank you again. 🤙🏾

The setting is lovely, and it’s the perfect place to relax and have a drink. The staff are also very friendly. That said, I find the prices a bit on the high side, but I suppose you can cut them some slack as it is, after all, a rooftop bar. Perfect for a unique experience in Naples.

I booked this for my husband’s birthday as it looked like a place for a special meal. When we arrived we were told our table would be 5-10 minutes, that was fine. We waited on the terrace with our welcome drink and after 20 minutes we asked where our table was, they said they were full so we didn’t have a table not sure how this can happen when we had a reservation. We ended up waiting 50 minutes before getting seated. When coming in from the terrace they tried to charge us for the welcome drinks and didn’t understand when we said they were complementary. When eventually sat down we didn’t get menus and had to go get our own as we were bored of waiting. The staff were clearly stressed and it made an uncomfortable experience as they were rushing around, water split on the table as the waiter was pouring it so fast in a rush. When we sat down someone came up and made me get my email confirmation up to show I had a booking made us feel uncomfortable. We tried to get a second drink with dinner and were told that person couldn’t take drinks orders. I’m really disappointed as I booked this for a special birthday, I even left a note on the reservation asking for a tiramisu to be brought out as a birthday surprise, that didn’t happen but I was actually glad as we just wanted to leave as soon as possible. We spent €165 and felt like we weren’t wanted, not a pleasant evening at all or the special birthday dinner I wanted it to be.

We were traveling from Sorrento to Rome and wanted to have a special lunch in Naples. Les than a 10 minute walk from the train station was the Vesuvius Rooftop restaurant in the UNA hotel. I highly recommend experiencing a meal there. The manager, Ciro, was kind and generous with his time. My wife and I each order a pizza and wonderful cocktails. Being my birthday he brought over a gelato ice cream and candle! The hospitality we experienced was warm and generous. If you have a little bit of time while in Naples by the train station, this is a special sanctuary.

Title: Absolute failure and discrimination. They ruined my daughter’s 18th birthday We traveled all the way from Ireland specifically to celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday here, choosing this venue for its panoramic view. I booked the best table three weeks in advance and had a written confirmation stating that the outdoor table was guaranteed unless it rained. Upon arrival, they lied to our faces, claiming they "don't serve dinner outside," which completely contradicted their own email. It turned out they gave all the prime tables to hotel guests, explicitly stating that residents are their priority. They clearly don't care about international guests or milestone celebrations if you aren't staying at their hotel. We flew across Europe for a special night, only to have it ruined by their dishonesty and appalling lack of professionalism. My daughter was in tears. Avoid this place at all costs

Wir waren zu zwölft zum Abendessen – ein Anlass, auf den wir uns gefreut hatten. Leider blieb das Erlebnis weit hinter den Erwartungen zurück. Der Service war unfreundlich und durchgehend fehlerhaft: Bestellungen wurden mehrfach falsch aufgenommen, was bei einer Gruppe verständlicherweise zu Verzögerungen und Frust führte. Als ein Wein ausverkauft war, wurde uns ohne Rückfrage eine doppelt so teure Alternative angeboten – das grenzt für uns an unehrliche Verkaufspraxis. Am ärgerlichsten war jedoch die Abrechnung: Auf der Rechnung standen Getränke, die wir schlicht nicht konsumiert hatten. Als wir dies ansprachen, wurde trotz eines Gesamtkonsums von über 1’300 CHF hartnäckig auf der Zahlung beharrt – das ist weder kundenfreundlich noch akzeptabel.

Das Restaurant ist völlig überbewertet. Ich kann die guten Rezessionen nicht verstehen. Ich glaube aufgrund der Lage und wahrscheinlich 80% Touristen kann man alles ein bisschen schleifen lassen. Wir waren eine grössere Gruppe, einige Speisen wurden vergessen, nicht alle konnten zusammen essen. Die Portion Herz was man normalerweise aus der italienischen Küche kennt, fehlt hier komplett. Spannend ist, dass auf der Terasse der Wein eingeschenkt wird, im Restaurant wird der Wein nach dem Öffnen auf den Tisch gestellt ohne probe oder einschenken. Sorbet Eis waren an einem Samstag Abend um 22.00 ausverkauft... kann ich nicht nachvollziehen in einem solchen Restaurant. Gewisse Personen im Service sind super, andere zeigen relativ wenig Interesse. Fleisch und Fisch war grundsätzlich sehr gut... Schade aber dass durch viele kleine Details, das Gesamterlebniss getrübt wird. Uns wurde zuviel verrechnet. Passt auf, hier werden touristen abgezockt.

Siamo capitate in questo posto per caso, tramite the fork, ci ha lasciati a bocca aperta. Cena al sesto piano, fuori su una terrazza. Che dire vista molto bella, cibo buonissimo e soprattutto uno staff eccezionale, ci hanno servite Alessio e Vincenzo , molto professionali ed accoglienti. La mattina seguente abbiamo fatto colazione e devo dire ci siamo trovate altrettanto bene, il signor Ciro è stato super professionale nell'indigarci tutti i cibi presenti per la colazione, ed anche lui molto accogliente ed attento a tutto. Prezzi giusti e non esagerati, sopratutto perché si mangia molto bene. Posto super consigliato.

Siamo andati al Vesuvio Rooftop per una colazione da esterni all albergo, la mattina presto. In piazza Garibaldi faceva già caldissimo, mentre sulla terrazza c era una brezza stupenda. Gentilezza incredibile dello staff, in particolare di Salvatore, che ci ha accolto e spiegato tutte le pietanze che c erano nel buffet della colazione. Molto ricca. Location tra le migliori di Napoli con panorama fantastico, aria e atmosfera. Ci ritorneremo!

Leider waren wir mit unserem Besuch überhaupt nicht zufrieden. Der Service wirkte durchgehend hektisch und unorganisiert. Man hatte ständig das Gefühl, zum Bestellen gedrängt zu werden, anstatt in Ruhe die Speisekarte ansehen und das Essen genießen zu können. Zudem wurde auf die Gäste kaum geachtet – Getränke (Wein!!!) wurden weder nachgeschenkt noch wurde nachgefragt, ob noch etwas benötigt wird. Auch das Essen konnte leider nicht überzeugen. Das Rindercarpaccio war für ein Carpaccio viel zu dick geschnitten und entsprach nicht dem, was man von diesem Gericht erwartet. Zudem wirkte das Fleisch praktisch roh und nicht hochwertig zubereitet. Die Pasta war ebenfalls enttäuschend, da sie kaum Geschmack hatte und insgesamt sehr fad wirkte. Um Salz Öl. Etc. musste man sich selber kümmern… Für die aufgerufenen Preise (20€ carpaccio) haben wir deutlich mehr Qualität und Aufmerksamkeit erwartet. Insgesamt weder beim Service noch beim Essen ein überzeugendes Erlebnis. Wir werden nicht wiederkommen und können das Restaurant leider nicht empfehlen.

Das Essen war lecker und eigentlich war es ein schöner Restaurantbesuch, allerdings war der Mann ohne Haare, der ein bisschen wie der Chef wirkte und die Rechnungen bearbeitet hatte, sehr unfreundlich und schlecht gelaunt. Das übrige Personal wurde schlecht behandelt und der Stress hat sich direkt auf den Gast übertragen. Am Ende hat man sich hier fehl am Platz gefühlt. Für 113€ für zwei Personen ist das schon eine sehr schwache Leistung. Das übrige Personal war sehr freundlich vor Allem die, die serviert hatten. Der eine Stern gilt nur für die eine Person.

Der Service war leider sehr unfreundlich und gestresst, dadurch war es keine entspannte Atmosphäre. Die Vorspeise der Tunfisch war sehr lecker. Ein sehr kleiner Salat als Beilage zum Wolfsbarsch war jedoch für 30€ nicht angemessen (im Menü stand die Beilage wird vom Chef ausgesucht, da dachte man an eine größere Beilage). Der Hauptkellner (Mann ohne Haare) hat außerdem sehr unhöflich gefragt, ob man denn reserviert hätte (wahrscheinlich für eine Umfrage) und man hat sich fehl am Platz gefühlt. Der Kellner, welcher das Essen gebracht hatte war sehr freundlich, wurde aber leider vom anderen Personal immer negativ angesprochen, es herrschte eine unangenehme Arbeitsatmosphäre, welche sich auf die Stimmung auswirkte.

Llamamos con 8 dias de antelación para reservar mesa y detallamos en esa reserva que queríamos en terraza , un día antes nos llamaron para confirmar la reserva y preguntarnos si queríamos en terraza y dijimos que sí, obviamente. Pues para nuestra sorpresa llegamos y nos dijeron que en terraza no se podía porque había una fiesta privada , no nos hizo gracia porque podían habernos avisado y hubiéramos cancelado la reserva. Por lo demás la comida era decente pero muy cara,por un sorbete de limón 10€... Y el servicio pues tampoco nos ofrecieron alguna solución a lo de la terraza y tampoco es que fueran muy simpáticos. En general experiencia mala para lo que se espera de un restaurante de esa calidad.

Ho avuto il piacere di trascorrere una splendida serata al Vesuvio Roof Bar & Restaurant. La vista notturna è davvero suggestiva e crea un’atmosfera elegante e rilassante, perfetta per una cena speciale. Ho scelto la bavetta di manzo, davvero ottima: carne tenera, ben cotta e ricca di sapore, preparata con grande attenzione. Un ringraziamento speciale ad Anna, che con la sua gentilezza, professionalità e cura per il cliente ha reso l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. Servizio impeccabile e sempre con il sorriso. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca una serata di qualità in una location unica. Un caro saluto da Palermo!

Terrazza meravigliosa, un ristorante in cui si respira relax! Siamo stati lì per il mio compleanno e tutti noi siamo andati via con il sorriso, siamo stati accolti come se fossimo a casa e gli ingredienti ed il cibo erano ottimi! Senza dubbio torneremo..

Esperienza semplicemente fantastica! Il locale è molto bello e curato, ma ciò che mi ha colpito più di tutto è stato lo staff, in particolare Ciro e Francesco, davvero eccezionale. Una gentilezza così sincera e naturale è ormai rara da trovare. Ogni persona del team è stata accogliente, sorridente e incredibilmente disponibile, rendendo ogni momento piacevole. Si vede che amano il loro lavoro e che ci tengono davvero a far sentire i clienti a casa. Grazie a loro la serata è stata non solo piacevole, ma memorabile. Un posto che merita di essere provato e soprattutto… di essere rivisitato!

Abbiamo fatto un apericena sul roof al 6 piano Ambiente e sala ristorante bellissima da poco completamente ristrutturata tra l altro Siamo stati benissimo abbiamo mangiato un assaggio di pasta e patate buonissimo Eccezionale Da ritornarci sicuramente è consigliata anche per persone che non soggiornano in albergo TOP

Servizio eccellente, gentilezza, cortesia e sopratutto sempre un sorriso ad accoglierti. Oltre ad essere una struttura moderna e raffinata quello che fa davvero la differenza é lo staff e la qualità del servizio, dalla colazione alla cena… aggiungo una nota molto particolare di questo hotel, al mattino a colazione viene accolto dall’odore della moka di caffè appena fatto che ti offrono in tutta la sua bontà e napoletanità dal responsabile di sala Ciro. In questo posto ti senti a casa.

Ottimo ristorante, chef bravissimo, mi è piaciuta molto sia la tartare di manzo che la genovese, qualità dei prodotti e preparazione eccellente. Ottimo anche il fusillone con colatura di alici, bottarga e nocciole, granella di pistacchio. Ottimi anche i dessert, buonissimo il tiramisù con foglia di menta. Offrono anche opzione senza glutine con pane, gnocchi per primo e dessert tiramisù preconfezionato. Location elegante e moderna, con sia sala interna che esterna su terrazza panoramica. Ideale anche per aperitivo con spritz e diversi ottimi drink. Personale cordiale e gentile. Buona carta vini, scelto ottima bollicina rose’ Pinot noir zona Montepulciano Toscana. Per menù a pranzo offrono anche pizza e altre portate, a cena il menù è diverso, senza pizza ma con diverse portate, anche carne grigliata. Lo consiglio, ci ritorneremo sicuramente.
