Location, location, location! Within walking distance to most of the popular Rome attractions. Less than 5 minute walk to the Pantheon. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, rooms are dated and there isn't a gym or pool but that is stated on the website.

Stayed at Hotel Nazionale Roma during our time in Rome and really enjoyed it. The staff were consistently helpful and welcoming, and the location is excellent. Its walking distance to many major attractions while also feeling very safe due to its position beside Parliament in Piazza Montecitorio. The rooms are comfortable, though the hotel definitely has an older classic style. Acknowledging the building dates back to the 1700s, it actually added to the charm rather than taking away from the experience. It feels like staying in a piece of historic Rome rather than a modern chain hotel. Great base for exploring the city and I would happily stay again.

The service was absolutely incredible. In the lobby, at the bar, & during breakfast. 10/10 Hotel is located next door to the Parliament so there is A LOT of police presence. Felt very safe. Highly recommend, especially for tourists.

Great hotel in a premium location. My reason for the 4 stars is that the breakfast buffet is a little limited. No hot chocolate, no fried eggs, among other things available in other hotels of the same category.

Last leg of our Italy trip and probably the worst way to set the tone. Upon our arrival, it felt like we were not entirely welcomed. Front desk said room wasnt ready, of course, it was 9am..told us to leave our bags with concierge and they will be brought up to our room when its ready. We came back and found out that our room was located right in front of the lift. Called on front desk to check if there was an alternative room available as we were very light sleepers. Front Desk sent concierge up to show us another room, which was alway from the lifts. Perfect. Went down to change my keys and thank them for accomodating. 3 of them were grouped together, handed me the new set of keys and took my older ones. Thats when it all started. One of them was looking at the keycard sleeve, which had my surname on it. They were speaking amonst each other, then went yeo? Yo! Yo yo yo! And burst into laughter amongst themselves. Being our last leg and having been in italy for the past 10days, we were very much accustomed to greetings of Buongiono everywhere we went. So it became quite a shock to us when we greeted and received no reply. Over the days, it was observed that not only were we treated as invisible at any time of the day, (ps the lift was right infront of the front desk, you couldnt miss anyone going in or out) but other europeans or americans were greeted enthusiastically. That aside, the hotel is superbly located. You have a fantastic gelato place, Giolotti just around the corner. Illy coffee for your breakfast, and being beside the Italian parliment, you have 24/7 security available. Added: The response from the Hotel supports what I highlighted. I checked into the hotel, passport details are on file. And suddenly I've a changed of nationality.

We have stayed 5 times here. Our 6th will be December. Fabulous location. Impeccable, beautiful mini suits. Perfect location to walk to alot of main attractions. Breakfast there is delicious. Quiet quaint bar for an evening sip or two. Beautiful restaurants around every corner, not to mention the shopping and gellateria. We wont stay anywhere else but the Nazionale!

A Room with the Weight of Rome Hotel Nazionale offered us something increasingly rare: formality with warmth, and grandeur with care. The staff is gracious, polished, and consistently present without ever being intrusive. It felt like being welcomed into a long-standing Roman tradition. Our Executive Room was outstanding. The towering ceilings alone made the space feel ceremonial, but it was the view that truly anchored the experience: looking out over Piazza Montecitorio, with Italy’s Parliament unfolding below and the Obelisk of Montecitorio—dating to the 6th century BC—standing in silent continuity. It is not often that a hotel room places you so directly inside history. The bathroom deserves its own mention — it featured the most spectacular Jacuzzi, which is rare in Rome. After a long day of sightseeing, it was deeply restorative. Breakfast was fantastic: generous and varied, something for everyone. The location is simply unbeatable — steps from the Pantheon, moments from the Trevi Fountain, and perfectly positioned for walking Rome as it reveals itself. Hotel Nazionale does not try to impress through excess. It impresses through gravitas, precision, and a profound sense of place. We would return without hesitation.

My husband and I stayed here as part of a two week anniversary trip to Italy. We booked a superior room and were very happy with it. The room had a nice view of the piazza and was a nice size, though the shower was a bit small. The location is excellent- very close to many of the major sites, and walking distance to lots of great restaurants and cafes. Though we were pleased with the hotel, what made our stay truly 5 star was the care and service we received from Patrick at the front desk. He was, by far, the most helpful concierge we’ve ever encountered. He went out of his way to provide anything we needed. On our first night there, we were running late to pick up tickets to the papal audience the next day, and he ran (literally) to go get them for us. When we had early mornings and couldn’t be there for breakfast, he ensured that we had breakfast boxes to take with us. Most notably, Patrick was a tremendous help to us when I had the misfortune of becoming extremely ill on what was supposed to be our last night there (we ended up having to extend our stay by 3 nights). He explained options for care to my husband and arranged for a wonderful doctor to come see me. Extending our stay when I was unable to travel was seamless and easy. When I felt a little better, but still could not eat regular food, Patrick was kind enough to call a local restaurant and request for them to make me broth with some pastina in it, which was exactly what I needed. He went above and beyond in so many ways, and we are so appreciative of his help! We hope to return to Hotel Nazionale again in the future and will recommend it to anyone we know who is planning to go to Rome.

We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Nazionale Roma during our short trip to Rome. The hotel is clean and beautifully decorated, and the rooms were just as comfortable and well kept. The staff were always friendly, incredibly helpful, and thoroughly professional. The only minor drawback was that street noise carried into the room more than expected, which could be a bit distracting at night. Otherwise, highly recommended.

I stayed here for three nights for my honeymoon in 2023 and it was wonderful. I'm planning a trip to Rome with my mom again. I've been trying to make a reservation on Agoda and other booking sites, but I can't find. Is the hotel closed or undergoing renovations? If it's still possible, please let me know how. Room was clean and spacious, hotel is tricky to find for the very first time, taxis may not take you right to the entrance. Around the corner from Giolitti gelato in Rome, and located in Italian parliament so it always felt very safe and quiet. Quick walk to all major sites, with the colosseum being the furthest at about 20-25min walking. Vatican City/museum required a cab/bus in my opinion. Bonus points for seeing the drone show at St Peter’s Basilica from our bathroom window! Front desk staff were nice, our AC wasn’t working well the first night and the promptly resolved the issue the next day when we asked about it. Breakfast was great and had lots of options. Overall would recommend staying here!

I had high hopes for this property given its central location, but unfortunately my stay was disappointing in many ways. • Rooms: The room was very small, located near the stairwell, and extremely noisy in the early mornings and late evenings. The beds were completely flat with mattresses in dire need of replacement. The pillows were barely an inch thick—I had to stack three just to get minimal support. Desk space was cramped, making it difficult to work comfortably. • Cleanliness & Amenities: The shower had visible mold and grime. There was no hair conditioner provided, no complimentary bottled water in the room, and the amenities felt very basic for a hotel of this category. • Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi was unusable—around 2 Mbps at best. I had to rely on my own 5G hotspot, which was literally 40x faster. For a business traveler, this is unacceptable. • Breakfast: The hotel has no real kitchen, so the breakfast was underwhelming. It was mostly pastries, fruit, cheese, and meats. The eggs and bacon tasted like they had been cooked elsewhere and simply reheated. Overall, this property feels dated and does not meet the standard it advertises. Between the uncomfortable sleep, lack of cleanliness, poor amenities, and terrible Wi-Fi, I cannot recommend Hotel Nazionale and would suggest looking at other nearby options in Rome that offer better value and comfort.

My first trip to Rome and I can't say enough about the hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable. The front desk and staff were always available and graciously helpful. The bar area was comfortable and the 3 breakfast dining areas were relaxing and beautifully decorated. The variety of pastries, breads, waffles, fresh fruits, juices, eggs, cheeses, meats was outstanding and so tasty. I especially enjoyed using the expresso and cappuccino machine each morning. I would definitely recommend Hotel Nazionale Roma!

The location of this hotel was perfect. Very close to shopping, Trevi, Spanish Steps and Pantheon. Also centrally located between Vatican City and Colosseum where each were only 25 minute or less walk from the hotel! We weren’t overly impressed by the room or amenities for it being 4 star. It was stifling when we got in and even after running the AC full blast the room took more than a day to cool down. Our room overlooked the Piazza and the windows were anything but soundproof, we were woken by loud noises all throughout the night and early morning. We had stayed overlooking the square in San Gimignano and those windows had been practically soundproof so we were a little off put by this. The bathroom was also fairly dirty and our toilet only flushed sometimes.

Cute hotel in an excellent location. Approximately 5 minute walk to pantheon, 10 minute walk to trevi fountain, 30 minute walk to colosseum, and 45 minute walk to Vatican City. Excellent air conditioning in the rooms! Rooms are small, but adequate for a vacation where you don’t spend much time in the room. Beds are comfortable, and the front desk staff was kind and helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking for a walkable hotel in Rome

We stayed four nights at the Hotel Nazionale in the center of Rome. Everything was excellent. The room and bathroom were clean and spotless. The view out of our large window was amazing. Salvatore at the front desk was professional, courteous, friendly, helpful, and efficient. Breakfasts were excellent also with many choices and a variety of foods to choose. The location was very secure and a quiet bastion from the bustle and crowds of the city. Highly recommended.

My husband and I with our 2 children stayed in the La Dolce Vita suite for a few days before our cruise and had the most amazing experience. The room is absolutely gorgeous and the view from the terrace is stunning. You have direct line of sight to many historical sights which are all in walking distance. We walked from the hotel to the Vatican, Musei Capitolini, Colosseum, Pantheon, and Trevi Fountain all in the same day! The front desk staff were so helpful with providing recommendations and taking care of our transportation. We also felt very safe staying here since the entrance to the hotel is connected to the plaza out front where the Italian Parliament is also located therefore only hotel guests can enter the plaza during certain hours. It is also heavily guarded at all hours. In short, we very much plan to return as soon as we can!

Veldig bra beliggenhet i et rolig og trygt område. Hotellet er derimot litt forbi glansdagene og fremstår noe slitt. Frokosten er langt under det man forventer av et 4-stjerners hotell – veldig enkelt og lite innbydende. Rommet var rent med daglig vask, men luften var dårlig når man kom inn. Sengene er ok, men lydisolasjonen er svak – man hører både naboer snorke og rør fra badet veldig godt, noe som gjør det vanskelig å sove hvis naboen er oppe.

Atualização em: 10/03/2026- Nossa estadia no Hotel Nazionale foi excelente e superou nossas expectativas. A localização é simplesmente perfeita para quem quer explorar Roma a pé. O hotel fica muito próximo da Via del Corso, e em poucos minutos caminhando conseguimos chegar facilmente a vários dos principais pontos turísticos da cidade, como a Fontana di Trevi, o Pantheon, a Piazza Navona e também a região do Campo de’ Fiori. Fazer esses passeios caminhando por Roma é muito agradável, e o hotel está exatamente em uma área que facilita muito esse tipo de experiência. Além disso, há acesso ao metrô relativamente próximo, o que também ajuda bastante para se deslocar pela cidade quando necessário. O café da manhã é muito bom, com várias opções como ovos, pães e verduras. Há também frutas, embora esse seja um ponto que poderia ter um pouco mais de variedade. O atendimento de toda a equipe foi excelente — todos muito simpáticos, prestativos e eficientes. Os quartos são muito confortáveis. Ficamos em um quarto com piso (sem carpete), o que achamos ótimo. O banheiro é muito bom, com um chuveiro excelente e ótima pressão de água, além de secador de cabelo disponível. A região ao redor do hotel também é cheia de ótimos lugares. Está próximo do famoso All’Antico Vinaio, que está super em alta. Muito perto também fica o tradicional Sant’Eustachio Il Caffè, com um café excelente. Na rua lateral há a famosa sorveteria Giolitti, e nas proximidades também encontramos a Venchi, outra ótima opção para quem gosta de gelato e chocolate. Um detalhe importante: chegamos de madrugada e havia um atendente na recepção para nos receber e organizar toda nossa entrada, o que foi muito reconfortante depois da viagem. Nosso Uber nos deixou duas ruas abaixo do hotel, o que inicialmente nos preocupou, mas depois entendemos que isso acontece porque o hotel fica na área da Palazzo Montecitorio, sede da Câmara dos Deputados italiana. Por isso, a região possui barreiras de segurança que impedem a entrada de carros na porta do hotel. A segurança é permanente, 24 horas por dia, o que transmite ainda mais tranquilidade. No geral, foi uma experiência fantástica: um hotel confortável, muito bem localizado e com um serviço de excelente qualidade. Sem dúvida, voltaríamos a nos hospedar aqui em uma próxima viagem a Roma.

Spędziliśmy w hotelu Nazionale 5 dni od 01.02.-05.02 2026 Hotel położony w idealnym miejscu do wszystkich ważnych czy może nawet najważniejszych atrakcji Rzymu a także Watykanu można dotrzeć pieszo.Nie korzystaliśmy ani razu z transportu publicznego. Bezpieczne położenie hotelu gwarantuje policja ,ponieważ obok znajdują się budynki rządowe strzeżone 24/7. Pokoje codziennie sprzątane z wymianą ręcznikòw a nawet pościeli(co osobiście uważam za zbędne). Śniadanie smaczne i każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie, no chyba że ktoś ma naprawde wybredne podniebienie to obok nie brakuje baròw ,restauracji czy sklepòw. 😉 Personel hotelu Nazionale bardzo pomocny i sympatyczny. ローマに泊まるならおすすめのホテルです。 目の前がモンテチトーリオ宮殿で警備員の姿も見かけ、周辺の治安が良く安心して滞在できました。 テルミニ駅周辺のホテルと比べて落ち着いたエリアです。 トレビの泉、コロッセオ、バチカン市国など主要観光地へのアクセスが良く、立地は抜群。 部屋は天井が高く開放感があり、浴槽付きなのも嬉しいポイントでした。 価格もリーズナブルで、コストパフォーマンスの高いホテルだと思います。 またローマを訪れる際には泊まりたいホテルです。

매우 좋은 호텔이였습니다. 다시 로마에 오면 이 호텔에 머무를겁니다. 프론트 직원분이 매우 친절하십니다. 객실도 리모델링된 객실을 배정받아 매우 깨끗했고, 필터 샤워기를 가져갔는데 필터가 매우 깨끗했습니다. 조식은 야채가 있어 좋았지만 커피가 머신인건 아쉬웠습니다. 위치는 끝내줍니다.

Hotel yang worth it di tengah kota roma. Hanya beberapa menit ke pantheon, sangat aman karena seberang gedung parlemen dan dekat restoran. Izvrstan hotel u centru, lijepe i uredne sobe, pospremaju se svaki dan. U sobama se ne čuje buka s ulice. Sve na dohvat ruke, znamenitosti se mogu razgledavati pješice (sve bitno u krugu od cca 2 km). Vrlo ljubazno i uslužno osoblje. Doručak i više nego obilan, hrana jako ukusna. Nemam ni jednu primjedbu. Odličan!

No entiendo como un hotel como el NAZIONALE se presta a una estafa desde su propia web. Puedes reservar una SUITE VICARIO EN LAS FLORES, que el hotel comercializa desde su propia web, sin avisar que no depende de ellos, que tiene unos graves problemas de accesibilidad (sin ascensor), sin posibilidad de desayuno, y sin servicio de habitaciones. Todo comercializado con los logos del hotel, pero de lo que el hotel se desentiende. No te dejes engañar, el hotel es una cosa, pero comercializa cosas que no son suyas. No entiendo como un hotel de esa calidad se preste a esta estafa. El hotel es fantástico pero engaña a sus clientes en la web.

Fantastisch verblijf gehad. We hadden een grote kamer op de bovenste etage met een geweldig uitzicht over Rome. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en het personeel super vriendelijk. Maar vooral de centrale ligging midden in het centrum en op loopafstand van alle bezienswaardigheden maakte dit een tophotel

Hôtel dont le principal atout est son emplacement. Celui-ci est tout simplement parfait. A quelques pas du centre ville tout en étant dans une zone très calme et hautement sécurisée puisque l'hôte se trouve tout proche de la chambre des députés italienne. Par contre, ma chambre (numéro 125) dite économique certes mais celle-ci contenaient trop d'imperfections qui ne reflétait par le standing affiché par l'hôtel. La chambre était de taille très convenable avec un très grand lit. La penderie était également très spacieuse. Par contre la salle de bain donnait l'impression de ne pas être terminée, pas de cabine de douche mais une baignoire plutôt étroite avec le pommeau de douche trop bas. La chasse d'eau devait également être surveillée. Le bruit dans le couloir fut également gênant dut au fait que ma chambre était très mal insonorisée insonorisée. Le petit déjeuner lui est classique sans être transcendant et la salle n'est pas des plus chaleureuse. Voilà mon séjour fut mitigé malgré certainement des propositions de chambres beaucoup plus belle que la mienne mais disons que les chambres "Premier prix" ne sont pas d'un bon rapport qualité-prix.

Ho pranzato oggi. Cucina degna di una menzione MICHELIN. OTTIMO PERSONALE. Ambiente di alta classe. OTTIMO rapporto qualità prezzo molto buono e molto interessante visto il luogo turistico di Roma. Lo consiglio vivamente non vi pentirete certamente.

飯店地點非常好，走路就能到特雷維噴泉，周邊逛街和用餐都很方便。飯店前是石頭路，推行李會稍微不太方便，不過一開始服務人員就主動幫忙搬行李到房間，服務態度很好，也能快速解決問題。整體感覺是有點歷史的飯店，但維護得不錯，房間乾淨舒適。稍微可惜的是外面隔音不太好、插頭有點少、燈光偏暗，而且電梯上樓後還需要走幾階樓梯，對大件行李的旅客來說會有點吃力。建議吹風機可以更新一下，風力再強一點會更好。不過整體住宿體驗仍然不錯，地點與服務都值得推薦。

Le Nazionale est un très bel hôtel situé sur une vaste place au centre de Rome: je n’ai pas utilisé les transports en commun malgré de très nombreuses visites, du musée étrusque au nord, au septizodium au sud. L’ ameublement et la décoration des parties communes sont somptueux J’ai dormi dans deux chambres différentes, l’une luxueuse, aux meubles anciens et à la vue magnifique sur des toits de vieilles tuiles mais voisine du mécanisme très bruyant de l’ascenseur; j’ai donc changé pour une autre plus moderne mais vaste et très agréable. Le personnel dans son écrasante majorité est efficace et souriant; le petit déjeuner enthousiasmant par sa profusion et sa diversité. J’ai toutefois achevé mon séjour sur une note plutôt inélégante : à mon départ, on m’a énuméré les trois boissons que j’avais consommées ( pour lesquelles j’ai plusieurs fois demandé où je devais les noter) et demandé 13€. Certes, je les devais, mais après huit jours passés dans cet hôtel ( moins de ménage, de frais de blanchisserie et de fourniture de produits de toilette) j’ai trouvé un peu mesquine cette note. Pire encore, l’insistance de la réceptionniste : « et hier, vous n’avez rien consommé ? Et ce matin ? » Non, sinon je l’aurais signalé. Me rendre coupable de grivèlerie pour un jus de pomme à 6€ après avoir réglé 8 nuits d’hôtel serait tout de même plutôt surprenant.

10년전에 갔을 때는 테르미니역 주변 호텔에서 숙박했어요. 이번엔 관광지 주변에서 숙박하고 싶어서 선택한 호텔입니다. 판테온 10분 나보나 광장10분 트레비분수15분 스페인계단 15분거리입니다. 날씨가 더워 그늘로 다니느라 이정도 걸렸지 안더웠으면 더 빨리 갈 수 있었을거예요. 저녁에는 성천사성과 성베드로성당 광장까지 걸어갔다 왔어요. 위치가 최고인거 같구요. 체크인 해 주신분은 친절했구요. 호텔 앞에 경찰이 최소 6명은 있어서 남부 투어 갈때 새벽6시에도 안전한 느낌이었어요.

매우 친절하고 격식있어서 좋았으며 바로 뒤에 이탈리아 3대 젤라또가 있어서 더 좋았던 곳! 걸어서 아름다운 관광지들을 갈수 있었고 판테온 앞에서 밤에 칵테일 마시고 선선한 밤공기 마시며 호텔로 귀가한 기억이 너무 아름답게 남았어요. 최고 :) 한가지 아쉬운건 아고다 통해 예약하였는데 날짜를 잘못 예약 했고 몇분 지나지 않아 바로 연락했지만 예약 변경 및 취소 불가 ㅠㅠ 이메일로 간곡히 요청드려도 안받아주셨네요 ㅠㅠ 결국 추가 예약했고 두배의 가격의 허니문이었습니다. 룸 업그레이드라도 기대했었는데 없었어요 ..아쉬워요 ㅠ

세명이라 싱글룸 하나 더블룸 하나 예약 했는데 더블룸은 너무 좋았습니다. 창문열면 로마의 향기가 느껴집니다. (사진) 싱글룸은 그냥 잠만 자는 곳.. 좁고 벽뷰.. 캐리어 놓을곳 없어서 문앞에 열어놨습니다.(욕실앞) 그냥 더블룸가세요. 그돈이면 차라리 더 싼 호스텔 가거나 더 비싼돈 주고 더블룸 하겠습니다. 바로앞에 시의회(?) 같은 곳이 있어 매우 세이프티 합니다. 직진으로 걸어나가면 바로 쇼핑의 거리가 나옵니다. 제일 좋은건 바로 뒷골목에 타짜도로 커피 그리고 지올리띠 젤라또가 있습니다. 아침에 가세요 낮에는 사람이 많습니다. 호텔의 장점은 번화가인게 제일 좋았습니다. 한국인들 데스크에서 줄서서 기다리지 마세요. 옆에서 갑자기 문열고 들어온 손님이 세치기 마구마구 합니다. 서있으면 호구에요. 그걸 직원도 대처를 안해주더라고요. 마지막엔 내가 먼저 기다렸다 직원한테 말했더니 웃으며 어서오세요 레이디 이러더라고요. 진작부터 서있던거 뻔히 봤으면서.. 데스크 직원분들 유쾌합니다. 나쁘진 않아요. 일에 순서가 없어 보일뿐..

좋은 리뷰가 많아서 기대햇는데 리뷰에 비해 그닥... 전 1박만 햇음. 젤 큰 장점은 위치. 걸어서 판테온 트래비 분수 갈수잇음. 방은 걍 평범. 어메니티 거의 없다고 보면 되구요. 조식은 가지수는 많은데 딱히 엄청 맛잇다 잘 모르겠어요. 서비스는 막 엄청 친절한것도 잘 모르겟고 오히려 무표정... 포커페이스로 걍 질문하면 대답. 돈 낸거에 비해 그냥 보통이엿어요. 위치는 걸어서 관광 다니기 좋아요.
