We came to this restaurant for dinner because of the quite good reviews. We ordered several dishes, including the bruschetta with tomatoes, a veal cutlet Milanese, grilled octopus, as well as wine and water. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. While the menu sounded promising, the food lacked freshness. Several dishes arrived lukewarm and had the texture and taste of something that had simply been reheated rather than freshly prepared, which took away from the enjoyment of the meal.

We arrived a bit late, with about 50 minutes left before closing. At first, they weren’t sure if they could seat us, but after checking, they did, despite having several empty tables. Unfortunately, the experience wasn’t very enjoyable. A large group next to us was extremely loud, to the point where we couldn’t even hear each other. One person in the group was repeatedly shouting while laughing, and it made the atmosphere uncomfortable for us and others around. The staff didn’t step in or address it. We ended up eating quickly and leaving early. When we mentioned why, there wasn’t much response. The food was decent, good if you want to try traditional Lombardian dishes like saffron risotto and veal cutlet, but overall, the experience didn’t stand out.

The restaurant is cosy and the atmosphere is good, the staff were really friendly and efficient. I was a bit disappointed with the Risotto al' ossobuco; it cost €30, but it didn't taste good. I could taste tap water... not a lot of flavour. I had to add loads of cheese, salt, pepper, all sorts of things to make it taste of something, so for me, it was not worth it. Also, I thought the restaurant was more budget-friendly (that's why I booked it...), but it is a bit expensive, and you can find better prices around Milan. Would not go again for these reasons, but the staff were really nice.

The service staff were very kind and helpful, we didn't have a reservation and they kindly seated us quickly. The prawn and scallops ravioli was not as expected but the sauce was clearly made in house. The veal milanese was tasty and the portion sizes were generous. The wine suggestions were good and we enjoyed our meal.

My raviolli were good but my family ordered osso buco and it was not good at all and it’s very expensive (30€) The gnocci with seafood and mushrooms also had a weird sauce. Overall this was the worst meal we had in Milan in 4 days. Very expensive and the food wasn’t good

Despite being in the center of the bustling city of Milan, this "tavern" offers a quiet meal in an old-fashioned atmosphere. The rooms aren't crowded with tables, allowing for a good distance between them. The prices are reasonable, even considering the proximity to Piazza del Duomo and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, where prices can be quite high. I also liked the service. The only drawback was the fettucine with wild boar ragu (minced meat), which could have had a bit more flavor (I had to sprinkle it with more Parmesan cheese than usual), but I don't want to be unfair, as I didn't try any other main courses.

Firstly I said no water the waiter tried bringing a litre bottle and I said no take it away. They wouldn’t make a veggie carborarna so asked for pesto pizza which was DRY and cold so had to ask them to reheat it. I asked for ravioli with meat sauce I got gnocchi??? We asked for fries they gave me chicken and fries another thing to try charging me for perhaps then we finally get the bill and THE WATER IS STILL THERE. Ridiculous avoid.

Best Risotto alla Milanese I had in Milan! This charming and beautifully decorated restaurant stole my heart. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff incredibly friendly and attentive, and the service impressively fast. The prices are quite reasonable too. A true gem in Milan. definitely worth a visit if you’re craving authentic risotto in a cozy setting.

I went there with friends and family, the first thing that I thought when I entered was "this place is beautiful" Thanks to the layout and the way this place is decorated creates an incredible atmosphere. The second thing was the incredibly nice waiter that welcomed us to our table, not only was he kind to us he also had good English skills so you don't have to worry about ordering if ure not Italian. And lastly the food, truly incredible you can tell everything was cooked by hand and that the chef has years of experience. I truly recommended this place as I couldn't really find any faults in it.

Amazing service! Delicious food. Tried the Tagliatelle ala bolognese with some coffee and it was pretty good. They might not get non-Italian speaking customers that much, so when they saw me they really made sure that I had all the information. Brought the English menu and the English speaking servers to me for help. Very very nice.

The food is not great, and absolutely overpriced. There is a hidden charge of 2.50€ per person, and they charge for water as well. It's a tourist place and nothing more. That being said, the staff was nice and accommodating, and the place is family friendly, which is reportedly not the case with fancier restaurants around.

Heute haben mein Sohn und ich dort gegessen. Wir wurden super empfangen. Es gab sechs verschiedene Mittagessen. Wir haben "gnocchi" und "cous cous" gegessen. Super lecker. Richtiges Essen. Viele Einheimische haben dort gegessen. Wir haben uns zu Anderen an den Tisch gesetzt. Nach dem Essen gab es einen super Espresso und ein Tiramisu. Conosco questo posto da 25 anni, ci venivo a pausa pranzo molti anni fa e avevo un ottimo ricordo, ci son tornata oggi e pensavo non ci fosse più, come tanti bei posti ormai scomparsi a Milano. Invece c’è ancora! Ho mangiato uno spezzatino con funghi porcini (freschi) e patate, un ottimo tiramisù, mio marito un ottima torta cioccolato e pere. Prezzi molto economici per la zona…che dire? 한국인 리뷰 중(김아름님) 문어가 너무 맛있다하여 궁금해서 들른 집. 점심때 가니 사람이 꽤 많았으며, 합석을 했음. 우선 문어는 주문 안되고(디너만 가능), 가능한 메뉴 중 파스타(아스파라거스+뭐였는데 기억이 안남)시켜서 먹음. 삼삼하니 나쁘지 않았으나 먹다보니 계속 땡기는 오묘한 맛. 중간에 치즈 한스푼 뿌려서 먹으니 아주 금상첨화. 아주 좋았다.(소스까지 다 긁어먹음) 저녁에 다시 들러서 문어를 시킴. 여담인데 카운터 누님이 알아봐주심(옥토퍼스 보이) 스타터로 Bruschetta 시켜서 먹고(낫베드), 하우스 와인과 함께 문어를 먹어봄. 스타터 치울때 나이프를 가져가던데, 문어를 어떻게 자르지 순간 고민했는데 이유가 있었음. 포크로 다 짤림ㅋㅋ 부드럽고 간이 약하며 매쉬 포테이토와 매우 잘 어울린다. 특별한 맛이 있는건 아니지만 뭔가 조화롭고 최적화 되었다고 할까? 아무튼 추천. 꼭 드셔보길(1인 가능)

Είναι ίσως από αυτά τα μαγαζιά που θα βρεις να τρώνε ντόπιοι και όχι τουρίστες που προσωπικά για εμένα είναι κάτι πάρα πολύ καλό , η ατμόσφαιρα σου θυμίζει μια άλλη εποχή πιο ρομαντική , το προσωπικό πραγματικά ευγενικό , το μόνο μείον είναι οι μερίδες που όμως όπως κατάλαβα τις επόμενες ημέρες είναι κάτι κοινό σε όλα τα μαγαζιά τους , είναι μικρές και σίγουρα δεν αναλογούν στα χρήματα που δίνεις,αλλά και πάλι όπως είπα τελικά είναι κάτι κοινό που το έχουν όλα τα μαγαζιά της εστίασης τουλάχιστον όσον αφορά το κέντρο της πόλης.

Un restaurante que representa muy bien la cocina local. La atención fue muy amable y el servicio, de buen nivel. Pedimos varios platos para compartir y así probar distintos sabores: Pasta Carbonara, Pasta alla Bolognesa y Pasta alle Vongole. Cada una con su propio carácter, bien preparadas y sabrosas. Cercano al Castillo Sforzesco, está escondido en la vía San Tomaso. Es un lugar bastante bueno para comer, hemos pedido un risotto de gorgonzola y unos ravioli de espinacas con ricotta y burrata. Los dos platos estaban súper buenos, y nos ha costado 12€ cada uno. Las mesas son compartidas y en ellas encuentras queso rallado y distintos aceites. Hay que tener en cuenta que te cobran 1,5€ por persona por el servicio de “cubierto y pan”. Lo que pasa es que primero te lo cobran y luego te preguntan si quieres pan, y si no lo coges pues te lo cobran igualmente. Por lo demás, recomiendo el sitio para comer, eso sí, antes de las 15:00h, ya que a esa hora cierran.

Wir hatten reserviert und bekamen unseren Tisch sofort zugeteilt. Die freundliche Bedienung nahm unsere Bestellung auf und prompt ging es auch schon los. Einen Starter einen Meeresfrüchte Salat und 2x Spaghetti waren nacheinander bei uns. Ich kann euch sagen sehr lecker und zwar alles. Wenn man bedenkt das wir 4x Essen 2x Wein 1x Wasser und 1x Bier hatten, waren die 83€ angemessen und nicht zu teuer.

Très belle découverte à Milan ! Un restaurant vraiment sympathique avec un accueil chaleureux. Nous étions 7 personnes arrivées à 13h00 sans réservation, et malgré un restaurant plein, l’équipe s’est rapidement organisée pour nous trouver une table. Le service a été rapide et attentionné. Les plats étaient tous excellents, du début jusqu’au dessert. Une cuisine savoureuse et généreuse dans une ambiance conviviale et agréable. Une adresse que je recommande sans hésiter !
