Told them I had an allergy. Proceeded to give our table bread with said allergy. Told me I should’ve told them I had that allergy. Clocked them. They gave me gluten free bread to fix the fact I was having an allergic reaction? Charged me for the bread they randomly gave us and we never even asked for. Now that’s good service huh!

We ran into an issue while at the restaurant and it had nothing to do with the restaurant yet they were so quick to jump in and be involved and give us the help we needed. They were also kind and involved, and I appreciate it on top of the delicious food. There was one hostess in particular with short curly hair. She was amazing.

We happened to walk by this restaurant and decided to stop in, and we’re so glad we did. Even though the restaurant was quite busy and we didn’t have a reservation, they still managed to find us a table and made us feel very welcome. Everything was exceptional — the food was delicious, the service was attentive and friendly, and the overall atmosphere was great. One of the best dining experiences we’ve had here. Highly recommended.

Horrible client service. Client for them is not a priority. When we asked for drinks the waiter said: « this is not a cocktail bar girls” . And didn’t let us seat outside cause the restaurant was closing but let us seat inside while other people were still outside. Very weird. Do not come here if you want a normal service.

I’m sorry to leave this review since I have heard so much good about the place. Located close to Brera’s most popular area, with an amazing atmosphere, I was very excited to try the food. First dish was a Beef Tartare, recommended by the waiter for the creativity of the dish. To be honest the supplements to the beef was probably had no effect. ”Almond mayonnaise” - four small dots for a lot of beef, that didn’t add any significant flavour, same with the herb-oil and decorations. The proportion between beef and these supplements were completely off, shown in the picture. Secondly I had a truffle pasta which was basically water, truffle oil, pasta, and a generous amount of grated truffle. This was probably one of the worst dishes i ever had since moving to Milan. As seen in the picture the pasta was just bathing in liquid. I was really disappointed that the chefs sent this dish out. The only good thing was the generous amount of truffle, but completely ruined by the rest of the dish, since it was basically just boiled pasta in oil and water. Also this is well captured in my pictures ans video. I left the mix of water and oil, for the waiter to notice, but no reaction. I’ve might have been unlucky with my choices, but for the quite high prices paid for me and my friend, I feel disappointed for the money spent. I’m confident many of the other plates are good, but mine were not.

Very friendly waiters and it is a cute restaurant. We were looking forward to this meal for a while and unfortunately left extremely disappointed. The salmon tartare of all things was the best bite of the night. It tasted so fresh and delicate. We were actually not recommended this by the waiter when we asked his opinion, but got it anyways because it was something different we hadn’t tried during our travels in Italy. We highly recommend it to anybody who does enjoy a raw salmon dish! For our meal we got the crispy risotto with a cheese fondue and also the traditional risotto from Milan (Milanese risotto) with the ossobuco. They were both extremely disappointing. The crispy risotto didn’t feel properly fried. It felt stale and hard to chew. While the flavors were really good, eating it was unpleasant. I’ve never had this dish before so I’m unsure if this is how it’s supposed to be, but as people who very much enjoy crispy rice dishes elsewhere, this one was the worst I’ve had. Now, the ossobuco was the star of the second dish. So flavorful and tender. It is a fatty piece of meat with a giant bone, so you aren’t getting much meat…but it was still absolutely delightful and the bone marrow was delicious. Unfortunately the Milanese risotto itself tasted like it was made in dirty bath water. I did not get a nice saffron flavor because of this unpleasant taste. Again, I’ve never had this dish before so I am not sure what is correct or not, but it was far from appetizing to my personal tastebuds. I’ve enjoyed numerous risottos and dishes with saffron in the past without this issue. Maybe it was just a bad night or batch, but for the price, we left disappointed and hungry.

My husband and I spontaneously went to this place last night. We did not have a reservation, but we’re seated outside in the patio area. The patio was covered and with heaters so it was no problem to sit outside in April. The atmosphere was also nice. We ordered the Salmon Tartar has a starter to share and as a main course, I had the risotto Milanese, and my husband had the cottlet Milanese with potatoes. The food was exceptionally delicious and the service was outstanding. I can only recommend this place and we’ll definitely come back the next time I visit Milan.

Food was not good, somehow the service was worse. We didn’t order a lot of food and that made the waiter upset. I guess he didn’t realize we could see him rolling his eyes every time he left our table. Then I found two bugs in my wine. I tried telling him, and at first he didn’t believe me. Made us feel super unwelcome. But he was kind to other tables. I guess it’s not all horrible, just order lots of food.

Very stuffy inside — there are far too many tables crammed everywhere. The interior looks worn out and poorly maintained. But the worst part is the food: it’s absolutely terrible. At the same time, the prices are very high. I’ve been living in Milan for 3 years, and this is one of the biggest restaurant disappointments I’ve experienced here.

Great food, great service. 4 out of 5 because we wanted to do a surprise for one of our friends and changed the reservation size to include 2 surprise guests. We explicitly asked that she wouldn't be notified since she was the one that made the reservation. However on the same day she was still notified and changed it back so when we arrived at the restaurant, they had to fit us on a bigger table which we had to leave before 9 pm. It all worked out in the end but left a bad impression that they don't really communicate internally.

Service was exceptional. We were seated outside in the winter garden which was beautiful. Staff was attentive and kind. The food and wine was on our high end but we wanted to have a great dinner on our last night. Food to be honest was ok. I guess we expected more flavor? The ossobucco was mild. Meat was well cooked but missing something as was the pastas. The fettuccine for the kids simple butter and pasta such as the spaghettiw/clams. 5/5 for service. 3/5 for food taste. 5/5 for food quality.

Had a wonderful dinner at Stendhal in Brera — classic, cozy, and quietly elegant, with a gorgeous covered terrace filled with greenery, lights, and a warm atmosphere that makes you want to linger. Food highlights: • Beef tartare: super fresh and nicely seasoned, presented beautifully with bright herb oil and a creamy accompaniment that balanced it perfectly. • Steak with peppercorn cream sauce (steak au poivre style): tender, cooked just right, and absolutely covered in a rich, silky peppercorn sauce that was indulgent without being heavy. Service was attentive and polished, and the whole experience felt very “Brera” — relaxed but refined. Definitely a spot I’d return to for a special dinner or a long, unhurried evening.

Ristorante Stendhal Brera – Lovely Setting, Generous Portions, Solid Milanese Classics 🇮🇹🌿 We had a nice dinner at Ristorante Stendhal Brera, a charming spot with a cute green-themed interior that fits well with the Brera vibes. We ordered the salmon tartare, tomato spaghetti, Milanese risotto, and green salad. The risotto alla Milanese stood out as the best dish—rich and comforting. The others were nicely prepared, but didn’t quite blow us away. For dessert, we had the tiramisu and gelato—both in very generous portions, so heads up if you’re already full from dinner! 😄 The service was good, although the tables are quite close together, which makes the space feel a little tight when the restaurant is busy. All in all, it’s a solid choice if you’re in the area and want a classic Milanese meal in a cozy atmosphere.

Unfortunately, we were not satisfied. Admittedly, we were a large group, but even so, the restaurant could not match the quality of the food with the prices charged. In addition, a mistake made by the kitchen (the chips for the veal Milanese were only served towards the end and were cold, then hot again, but still charged at an extra €13, even though they were actually included as an aside, replacing the potatoes, so we were told) was not addressed, and although the service was very attentive and always friendly, we cannot award more than three stars here, I'm sorry. Why didn't we point this out at the restaurant? As I said, we were a large group sharing the bill, our children were already very restless, and to be honest, I didn't check the bill until the next day on the way to the San Siro stadium to watch AC Milan ... Otherwise, I would of course have tried to find a good solution immediately. However, I find it increasingly tedious that you apparently have to check every bill for accuracy, especially as a tourist. The €5 coperto per person also seems too high to me, but that's Milan ;-) Oh, and my wife got significantly less red wine in her glass than my brother-in-law; apparently women need to drink less wine...by the way: we had three native Italians with us, so language was not the issue :-))

Esperienza davvero di alto livello, la qualità e la ricercatezza si percepiscono già dall’inizio, con una selezione di pani eccellente,segno di grande attenzione verso ogni particolare. L’antipasto fiori di zucca con pesto e ricotta, nella loro semplicità, erano equilibrati e davvero eccellenti. Il riso al salto con fonduta personalmente non mi ha convinto del tutto, forse mi aspettavo qualcosa di più intenso, ma resta comunque un piatto ben eseguito. Il vero capolavoro è stato il tonnarello verde al ragù bianco di vitello e olio al tartufo: un piatto sbalorditivo, ricco di sapore. Ottima anche la tagliata di Wagyu, carne di qualità superiore, tenerissima e cotta alla perfezione, anche se il prezzo è decisamente importante. Le costolette di agnello, invece, erano una vera squisitezza, succose e saporite. Menzione speciale per il dessert, qualcosa di unico e praticamente introvabile: il gorgonzola caramellato con amarene. Un’esplosione di sapori incredibile, solo questo dolce vale la visita.

O restaurante mais caro e pior que fui em um mês de Milão. Segui a indicação de um brasileiro que vive em Milão. Me arrependi muito. Pedi ossobuco com risoto. A carne não tinha tempero algum. O risoto estava razoável. A taça de um bom vinho costuma custar 7 euros nos restaurantes de LaBrea. Nesse custou 10. Não recomendo.

Ottimo ristorante in Brera, buon cibo e servizio molto attento. Abbiamo assaggiato diversi piatti, che abbiamo trovato in generale di ottima qualità, ma abbiano optato per le 4 stelle perché la cotoletta purtroppo era evidentemente avanti di cottura, e in ogni caso perché lo abbiamo trovato un po' caro. Ad ogni modo, il giudizio complessivo è assolutamente positivo e consiglierei questo ristorante!

Delusione…l’antipasto con le acciughe, burro di malga e pan brioche. Tradotto, tante acciughe, un non so che di burro totalmente insapore e 4 piccoli ma piccoli bastoncini di pane dolce tostato che mal si coniugano con le acciughe. Tonnarelli con ragù bianco, totalmente senza sale in più il condimento fatto con una crema di latte ( che è più chic della parola panna) che si sono rivelati anche un po’ indigesti. Riso al salto, un medaglione di riso passato in pastella o uovo e mollica e fritto con una fonduta di base abbastanza neutra insapore. Per concludere, una mousse al cioccolato fatta con un cioccolato anche questo insapore servito ad una temperatura sbagliata. La mousse deve avere di base un cioccolato di altissima qualità e aromatico. Cena deludente, non tornerò.

Location storica di cucina tipica milanese/lombarda. Piatti molto buoni e per nulla pesanti. Neppure la cotoletta. Carne squisita! Servizio cordiale e amichevole. Vi consiglio di prenotare nella sala, piuttosto fuori, nel “giardino coperto”. Location ideale per piccolo gruppo di amici.

外觀普通，沒有特別強調要室內座位會排到室外。室外座位有聖誕節的感覺，很溫暖，甚至有點悶。 牛排很好吃，是目前在義大利吃到最好吃的。炸牛排普通，有點像炸豬排。松露義大利麵沒啥味道可以不用點。牛膝燉飯還不錯，很嫩，可以想像的味道。紅酒據說很好喝，是義大利有名的酒莊的酒，可以點點看，50還60歐這樣，沒有很貴。四道主菜四個人吃很飽，可以不用再點其他的。 附近有其他更貴的餐廳，如果不知道要吃什麼可以考慮這家，價格不貴。提拉米蘇是比較軟的那種。有提供免費廁所，很讚喔喔喔喔喔！

Location ricercata, ma non formale: ideale sia per un gruppo di amici, che per una famiglia o una coppia. Piatti della tradizione meneghina, ma non solo. Il cibo molto buono, grazie all'ottima cucina e alla qualità delle materie prime. Particolarmente apprezzato l'ossobuco con il risotto giallo! Servizio attento ed elegante, ma sempre discreto. Sottolineo volentieri le capacità di Samuele, che dirige la sala con professionalità e una particolare attenzione, che coccola il cliente senza risultare invadente. Ultima nota positiva: un ampio parcheggio proprio davanti al locale, che vista la zona (Brera) è sicuramente un valore aggiunto.

Dopo anni sono tornata con delle amiche in questo ristorante. Vi posso garantire che tutto il personale, incluso il proprietario, si contraddistingue per notevole gentilezza ed accortezza nel servire i clienti. Cortesia e gentilezza valori che, ad oggi, risultano assai rari e una volta che si ritrovano, si valorizzano ancor di più. Risotto alla milanese molto buono, tarte tatin anche. Un ristorante in cui si avrà piacere ad andare.
