01/06/2026BEWARE! Service Disruption - Doors closed half an hour early! I experienced an absolute disgrace and total lack of professionalism at the VIVE complex on May 29. I purchased a combined ticket and scanned it at the main turnstile at exactly 18:29, well before the official last admission time of 18:45. The official closing time is clearly stated as 19:30. After visiting the Panoramic Terrace, I went down to see the Central Museum of the Risorgimento and Palazzo Venezia around 19:00. However, the staff physically blocked my way and forced me to leave, claiming those sections were already closed. There was absolutely NO written or verbal warning anywhere stating that internal sections close at 19:00, forcing visitors out half an hour before the official closing time. When I contacted the management via email, they shamelessly replied with hypocritical word games, completely ignoring my entry time. They close the doors in your face half an hour early, deny you the service you paid for, and then hide behind the excuse that "the ticket is valid for 7 days" even though they knew I had an international flight the next morning. This is a total tourist trap. Do not trust their closing hours!

25/05/2026The Vittoriano is another one of those places in Rome that literally stops you in your tracks. The sheer size and scale of the monument are incredible, especially when the bright white marble catches the sunlight against the rest of Rome’s historic architecture. If you enjoy architecture, historical monuments, and history, this is definitely worth adding to your itinerary — and the bonus is that much of it is free to visit. If you’re willing to climb the steps, you’ll also be rewarded with some fantastic views overlooking the city. It’s conveniently located along the walking route between the Pantheon and the Colosseum, so chances are you’ll naturally come across it while exploring Rome. It’s also close enough to continue on toward areas like the Spanish Steps and other major landmarks. Beyond the history itself, it’s just an impressive place to pause, take photos, and appreciate the scale and beauty of Rome’s architecture.

24/05/2026Amazing building but very difficult to get there because of the construction site. They're building a new subway line so traffic is deviated. It makes getting here more complicated coming from the Colloseum.

12/05/2026Standing in Piazza Venezia feels like being at the heart of Rome’s energy and history. Surrounded by grand architecture, busy streets, and the impressive monument, the piazza is a striking blend of ancient and modern Rome. The views are breathtaking ♥️

06/05/2026Piazza Venezia is a very impressive and busy square in the heart of Rome. The massive monument to Vittorio Emanuele II immediately catches attention with its white marble and grand design. Standing there, I felt surrounded by history and the energy of the city. It’s a great place to start exploring Rome and feel its atmosphere.

03/05/2026Big, bold, beautiful, statues, and yes monumental in every way! To see these works of art that existed so long ago is both incredible and unbelievable considering. I walked all around and visited each side and part of this creation and never quite caught my breath. The modernisation around it but the immovable existence of it is innovative and respectful. It is bolstering and busy here and I suggest visiting when you have time to relish in the absoluteness of it. There are plenty of festivals and celebrated historic events held here as well. Here's a little bit of that.

28/04/2026The Piazza Venezia is one of the busiest and most central spots in Rome. It’s dominated by the massive white monument, the Altare della Patria, which really stands out with its grand design and panoramic views from the top. The area is full of traffic and energy, making it feel like the heart of the city. It’s a great place to pass through, take photos, and connect to other major attractions nearby. The evening I was there was really unforgettable as you can see in the pictures and videos. Felt like a fever dream. Overall, it’s impressive, lively, and worth a quick visit.

02/09/2017Piazza Venezia is the monumental heartbeat of Rome, a breathtaking crossroads where ancient history meets neoclassical grandeur. Dominated by the massive white marble of the Vittoriano, the square offers one of the most iconic views in the world, with the Altar of the Fatherland serving as a majestic compass for every traveler. It is a place of sheer scale and impact, especially at sunset when the marble glows gold and the city lights begin to flicker. Climbing to its panoramic terraces allows you to gaze down upon the Roman Forum and the historic rooftops, offering an unparalleled perspective of the Eternal City. Despite the lively hum of Roman traffic, Piazza Venezia remains an essential stop and a powerful blend of energy, art, and history that perfectly captures the tireless soul of Rome.
