02/06/2026From the minute you enter the hotel the receptionists was so helpful and gave us a map to navigate around Naples. The rooms were beautiful and always cleaned and always had fresh towels and bedding. The breakfast were also wonderful and happy to talk to you. Will be back soon thank you to all of you for a wonderful week

02/06/2026My first time on Holiday with my best friend and his family and he booked this amazing hotel the staff were amazing. Breakfast has a lot to choose from from cereal to bacon and eggs toast etc etc, The rooms were very tidy and kept clean all week with fresh towels and bedding where required. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful will definitely be coming back. I stayed in Room 203 (Mr Hodges) and can’t fault the hotel at all.

01/05/2026Lovely Hotel, staff very helpful and friendly especially Claudia and Martina they couldn't do enough for the hotel guests, the room was very spacious, spotlessly clean, air conditioning, blackout blinds, extra pillows,mini fridge, kettle and a selection of teas, an excellent buffet breakfast served on the roof terrace,a great start to the day, within walking distance of the train station, Spaccanapoli,all tours could be booked through the tour desk in the hotel, again thank you to all the hotel staff who made our stay most enjoyable.

15/12/2025The hotel was great! Clean rooms, modern amenities and centrally located. You are right off a man road and also a block or two away from the center areas.. also, super close to the pizza! The area around isn’t too shabby, it’s a little chaotic but I compare it to New York, lots of people, loud noises, scooters- watch out for them, had some young kids whip past and try to snatch my phone out of my hand. Overall I had a great time, would recommend to anyone.

12/10/2025Firstly, thank you so much to the staff of the hotel San Miguele who helped us so kindly during our too short stay ! We could only stay one night because the hotel was fully booked but they took time to find us another hotel, to call taxis for us. The room was perfect, very clean and big and the decoration is very nice. The buffet breakfast had all we needed and was delicious. We will definitively come back and recommend, thank you ! !

11/10/2025Stayed here for 4 nights and it was a great choice. Hotel very close to station and easy walk into old town. Area round hotel bustling and an abundance of street food stalls, cafes and places to eat. Area round Garibaldi square felt a bit scary at night but, heading in the opposite direction, streets were well lit and busy and felt safe, as did the hotel. Friendly, knowledgeable staff on reception. Huge bedroom with kettle and mini fridge and plenty of spare pillows/ duvets/blankets. Buffet breakfast served on top floor and provided a good start to the day.

08/09/2025I certainly agree with the other reviews.....this is certainly not a 4 star hotel, at the best a 2 star hotel.... I arrived from the airport....The gentleman couldn't communicate to me due to the language barrier.....My bed was not made properly.....The shower goes hold and cold all the time.....I tried cling reception but the phone doesn't work....ts extremely noisy outside....The bed is a wooden bed with very low quality mattress.....can go on and on.... This is the worst hotel stay experience ever.....

23/07/2025Pretty pleased with my stay here. My first time in Naples I didn't know what to expect.The part of the city around the hotel is *bustling* and the location of the hotel was very convenient. The staff at the front were nice and very helpful. The room was unremarkable, but it was clean, the AC worked great, and it was relatively quiet. When I travel I like more low-key properties and prefer to go out exploring for meals etc, and this hotel hit the mark for me.

16/06/2025The rooms are great, the bathrooms are incredibly nice and huge with everything needed. There is even a kettle in the room to prepare tea or coffee. The location is great. The only minus of this hotel is that there is no 24 hour reception desk and when some of the staff decides to go somewhere they close the main door. My husband went out for a short walk and had a problem coming back through the main gate, because it was locked from the inside. It was pure luck he had his phone and called me while I was in the room, so I went down to unlock the door. Also the staff start working at 8.00 o clock in the morning, the breakfast starts at 7.00, which both are too late and inconvenient for people having an early flight.

27/02/2025Don’t stay here. Definitely NOT A 4 star hotel! Super noisy inside and out. The door to the outside balcony didn’t close completely, it was cold and super loud. The shower water was lukewarm, when I asked for support about it we were blown-off. The daytime reception at check-in was friendly, but unfortunately she was gone when we asked for support for lack of hot water.

18/03/2024Great location lovely big clean room and receptionist who shared my birthday was so helpful and friendly. Only downside was a weird window in the bathroom that meant if one of our kids used the toilet in the night the light shone through and woke us all up. Also a lot of noise from traffic but it's a city so that's pretty expected. Gave it a 5 as service and cleanliness was excellent

01/07/2023We've stayed here for a few nights and I must say I would stay there again. There are two things that you might want to consider before staying, to me, they didn't make a difference. I've uploaded a video of the sound you here every time someone in the next room uses water on their bathroom. It didn't bother me that much. The dark photo was taken at night, and its showing the room door and the light that comes in from the hallway. The door doesn't seal properly and lets some light in. The staff is great, super friendly, and always ready to help you. As soon as we checked in, we got a little description os the city and the main attractions, and they also gave us a map with all that info. The location is great, a super safe place near the train station (3 minutes walk) and we walked everywhere from the hotel and back. The room itself isn't that big, but it's more than enough, it's very clean, and they clean it everyday, the ac worked well and the bathroom was OK with nice water pressure and temperature. Again, I would stay there again without any problem.

21/05/2023One of the highlights of our trip to Italy! Incredibly nice staff and accommodations! Our train came in early and they allowed us to store our luggage and have breakfast before checking in. The lady working at the breakfast was so kind and brought us so many delicious pastries to try. They also helped us set up a taxi for 5am to the airport and spoke great English! I forgot my Apple Watch in the room and they were able to get it back to me from Italy to the US in a week. I really appreciate everyone who works here and would love to stay here again if I’m ever back in Naples!

03/06/2026Muy buen hotel. Las dos chicas que están en la recepción, de mañana y de tarde, son un amor. Nos explicaron y nos ayudaron mucho durante nuestra estadía. Además las dos hablaban español. La ubicación es muy buena, está cerca de la estación de metro Duomo, que conecta con los puntos turísticos más importantes. Además, está a pocas cuadras de Scappanapoli y de la Catedral. El desayuno muy completo, con opciones gluten free. También tienen un bar. La habitación tenía todas las comodidades y el colchón muy cómodo. Lo único negativo es que a partir de la medianoche no hay nadie en la recepción. Igualmente tenés contacto de emergencia y te ayudan si te vas en la madrugada. Si vuelvo a Nápoles, sin dudas lo elegiría nuevamente.

Il personale chiede giusto il numero di camera poi totalmente assente. Altro piccolo neo e la mancanza del "barista". Siamo a Napoli, patria del caffè...mi aspettavo che qualcuno ci chiedesse se volessimo un caffè o cappuccino invece zero assoluto..... c'è la macchinetta industriale che puoi trovare anche a Londra o Pechino, dettagli che fanno la differenza Buon lavoro

11/01/2026Отель расположен очень удобно с точки зрения логистики: рядом с железнодорожным вокзалом и буквально у входа в исторический центр. Это хороший вариант, если вы планируете поездки в соседние города. Если же цель — жить в более атмосферном или «прогулочном» районе Неаполя, я бы рассмотрел другие локации. В целом район показался безопасным, но мы ночью вокруг особо не гуляли. Сам отель — это, конечно, не классические 4 звезды, хотя для Старого Неаполя, возможно, именно так это и воспринимается. При этом всё чисто, исправно работает, без явных нареканий. Мы останавливались на 6 ночей, и в бытовом плане проблем не возникло. Звукоизоляция средняя. В первую ночь были соседи, и при такой загрузке просыпаться пришлось бы вместе с ними. Однако уже с 6 января почти все разъехались, и дальше мы наслаждались тишиной. С улицы шумов не было: окна выходили в переулок — вида нет, но и звуков тоже. Кондиционер работал нормально. В ванной комнате всё функционировало исправно, жаловаться не на что. В номере есть сейф, холодильник, телевизор и чайник — базовый набор для комфортного проживания. Завтраки мы брать не стали: сходили посмотреть и поняли, что это не наш вариант. В итоге — нормальный, практичный отель для тех, кому важна близость к транспорту и историческому центру, без особых ожиданий от уровня сервиса или атмосферы.

Ho avuto il piacere di soggiornare all’Hotel San Michele di Napoli e non posso che esprimere la mia più sincera gratitudine per l’esperienza straordinaria. L’hotel è elegante, curato nei minimi dettagli e situato in una posizione perfetta per esplorare la città. Ma ciò che ha davvero reso speciale il mio soggiorno è stato il personale: professionale, disponibile e sempre sorridente. Un ringraziamento particolare va a Martina, che con la sua gentilezza, empatia e attenzione ha fatto sentire me e la mia famiglia come a casa. Ogni richiesta è stata accolta con prontezza e cortesia, rendendo ogni momento piacevole e senza pensieri. Consiglio vivamente questo hotel a chiunque voglia vivere Napoli con comfort e calore .

30/12/2025La posizione dell’hotel è ottima in quanto si trova a pochi passi dal centro storico di Napoli, per cui si possono raggiungere a piedi tutti i monumenti, chiese e attrazioni di vario genere della città, specialmente nel periodo di Natale per la vicinanza alle stradine con i caratteristici presepi. Inoltre, è a poca distanza dalla stazione ferroviaria che porta a Pompei in meno di mezz’ora. Il personale della reception è stato molto cordiale e disponibile, anche nel dare consigli come arrivare nei punti di maggiore interesse. Per telefono ci è stato consigliato di poter raggiungere la struttura dall’aeroporto tramite un servizio taxi con una tariffa vantaggiosa, di cui è stata fatta spontaneamente la prenotazione anche per il ritorno. Siamo stati informati tempestivamente per il check-in anticipato, dopo averci permesso di depositare momentaneamente i bagagli. La camera era pulita e confortevole con tutti i servizi funzionanti e un letto molto comodo. E’ stato un soggiorno molto piacevole, lo consiglio a tutti.

08/11/2025Schönes Hotel mit retro Charme. Superior DZ war etwas Basic, aber alles sauber. Lage sehr gut. Schnell am Bahnhof, schnell am Hafen. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichbar und gute Pizza um die Ecke. Trotzdem nachts relativ ruhig. Frühstück war top. Service okay. Anscheinend ist Gastfreundschaft nicht mehr das italienische Steckenpferd, aber das ist uns in diesem Urlaub überall ausgefallen.

Personale molto gentile, disponibile, attendo alle esigenze delle persone e molto molto preparato. La colazione di ottima qualità, vasta scelta tra dolce e salato, dolci tipici della tradizione Napoletana e classici, frutta fresca e tanto altro. Un grazie a Martina che oltre a essere molto gentile e preparata è anche paziente e simpaticissima. Assolutamente consigliato!!!

12/10/2025Hotel situat al centre de Nàpols tocant als carrers del centre històric molt ben comunicat. L'habitació és àmplia, neta i ben cuidada amb els amenities necessaris. Un esmorzar força complet sobretot amb rebosteria molt variada. Cal destacar l'atenció del personal de recepció (Martina i la noia rossa) que ens va tractar de manera excel·lent a l'hora de reservar restaurants, taxis i totes les recomanacions que ens van fer. Un deu per a elles.

Confermo che la colazione potrebbe essere più curata, ma il personale è attento alle esigenze e disposto a procurare prodotti extra se richiesti e inoltre la colazione fatta all'ultimo piano è piacevole. 04/06/2025L hotel si trova nelle vicinanze di corso Umberto. Le camere sono pulite ma troppo essenziali. Abbiamo segnalato che la tapparella non scendeva. Non hanno fatto nulla per rimediare così abbiamo passato 3 notti alla luce del sole e a coronare il tutto urla notturne fino all alba. La colazione è pessima con prodotti di bassa qualità. Brioche, pane congelato. Torte per 3 giorni sempre le stesse con fette rapezzate qua e là...il servizio è pessimo. Insomma non è un 4 stelle

26/03/2025Non lo ho gradito. L'ascensore è quasi sempre occupato dal personale quindi inutilizzabile, ci mette una vita a chiudersi e partire. Servizio cortesia scadente, nessuna cuffia doccia e saponi di scarsa qualità. Acqua calda che arriva dopo un bel po'. Colazione mediocre, affettati scadentissimi e prosciutto di quello finto industriale. Per caffè e latte c'è una macchinetta. È abbastanza comodo per la posizione ma non ci tornerei assolutamente. Insonorizzazione tra e camere inesistente. Consiglio tra le altre cose da correggere di mettere dei posacenere in terrazzo . I vasi pieni di sigarette spente non si possono vedere.Personale gentile

22/03/2025Esperienza da non riprovare, prenoti per 5 persone e arrivi in una stanza con 4 posti letto e ti viene detto che la sera sarebbe stato aggiunto un altro letto. La sera ti trovi una brandina cigolosa e scomodissima. Ovviamente arriva con tre doghe già rotte e quindi devi cambiarla. Se ti metti col peso troppo in avanti/dietro si ribalta e quando dormi appena fai qualche movimento la senti tutta cigolare.

22/03/2025Vergogna! Polvere ovunque, quando stacchi il carica batterie da una presa si stacca dal muro e le poche che stanze che hanno una "cucina" hanno le posate bicchieri ecc per al massimo 4 persone anche se è una stanza da 5.

22/03/2025Ho dovuto farmi cambiare il letto perché si sono rotte 3 braghe quando mi sono a malapena seduto, finestre che non si chiudono, telefono della stanza non funziona, hanno messo una stufa a gas e non potevi chiudere le finestre perché c'era puzza di gas l'ho detto in reception ma hanno solo peggiorato, la TV quando la accendi non si vedono i canali, le coperte sono leggere e di conseguenza si muore di freddo quando c'è il vento, si trova davanti all'ospedale, ogni sera fuori dall'hotel si sente gridare e motorini passare velocemente.

18/08/2024Zimmer war sehr sauber und alles war klimatisiert ☺️ Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit überhaupt die Damen an der Rezeption👍🏻 Einzigen Punkteabzug gibt es für das Frühstück dieses war leider katastrophal und es war weder Butter noch die Fleischware gekühlt und sah sehr unappetitlich aus. Wenn man das Frühstück weck lässt ist es aber sehr zum empfehlen!!!

06/08/2024Hotel in ottima posizione: comodo per la stazione e vicino al centro storico e alla spaccanapoli. Zona tutto sommato anche tranquilla. Personale sicuramente gentilissimo e molto disponibile, socievole e che ci ha dato buonissimi consigli su come muoverci in città. Offrono anche la possibilità di tenere i bagagli dopo il check-out. Rapporto qualita-prezzo ottimo

22/07/2024Es war alles perfekt außer. Ich muss 3 Bemerkungen machen: 1: Ich weiblich musste mit meinem 17 jährigen Sohn in einem Bett schlafen, anstatt uns ein Zimmer mit 2 Betten anzubieten. 2. Mein Sohn hatte in dieser Zeit sein 17 Geburtstag und keiner im Hotel hat in gratuliert. Finde ich sehr schade, man soll schon wenigstens bei Kinder darauf achten 3. Ich habe Halbpension gebucht. Das Essen war sehr gut und viel. Aber man hätte uns mitteilen müssen, dass Wasser oder Fanta nicht im Preis inbegriffen ist.

10/03/2024Sono un insegnante che e' appena stata in questo albergo con due colleghe e 37 studenti. La posizione dell' hotel e' abbastanza comoda e centrale,le camere grandi e pulite ,il personale gentile ma e' indimenticabile l' esperienza di essere stata chiusa con le colleghe per tre quarti d' ora in ascensore in attesa che qualcuno venisse a liberarci oltre al sistema elettrico che lascia molto a desiderare in quanto provando ad usare il phon e' saltata l' illuminazione di tutto l' albergo e una volta risolto questo problema e' accaduto anche che l' acqua della doccia fosse ghiacciata. Infine ,una volta,toccando il tubo interno alla doccia ho preso una scossa elettrica. Per quanto riguarda il cibo la prima sera e' stato pessimo poi , dopo aver chiamato l' agenzia che ci aveva mandato in questo hotel che ha prontamente riferito all' albergatore la nostra lamentela a riguardo oltre a tutto il resto gia' detto sopra,,le due cene successive sono state decenti. Il personale ha cercato di ovviare a tutti questi inconvenienti a mio parere seri ma non si puo' definire che si tratti di un hotel a 4 stelle. La struttura stessa dell' hotel e' particolare in quanto si eleva su quattro piani e la sala da pranzo si trova al quarto piano e si tratta di una stanza sulla terrazza coperta ma fredda in questa stagione e poi i servizi che normalmente sono a piano terra qui sono al quarto piano per mancanza di spazio al piano terra. Io non lo consiglierei.

19/12/2023Hôtel a 5 minute de la gare Garibaldi et du métro, proche commerces, parfait pour le shopping et a proximité du centre historique, Bâtiment restauré, déco sobre, agréable, belle terrasse dur le toit, personnels sympathiques, reactifs, a l'accueil on nous a donnée un plan avec les choses importantes a voir dans la ville et une liste des restos qu'ils recommandent, nous les avons testé, au top 👍 Aide pour réserver un taxi pour notre départ tôt le matin a l'aéroport, merci encore

14/11/2023Das Zimmer war ziemlich klein, jedoch zweckmässig eingerichtet. Für nur 2 Nächte ist es ok. Aussicht aus dem Zimmer keine. Von der Frühstücks-Dachterrasse siehe Foto. Zimmer könnte auch sauberer sein, doch okay. Der Standort ist unweit vom Bahnhof Centrale und liegt zwischen den Metrostationen Duomo und Bahnhof. Service versucht vor Ort freundlich zu sein, jedoch werden Falschinformation geäussert. So war das Zimmer nicht bezugsbereit, obschon dies an der Reception gesagt wurde. Reception ist auch zu andern Zeiten bedient, als in jeder Buchungsbestätigung und im Internet angegeben. Am Sonntag um 07.00 Uhr ist somit noch kein Personal anwesend, obschon fast überall mit einer 24/7 Besetzung geworben wird oder zumindest auf der Bestätigung von 07.00h bis 23.00h schwarz auf weiss gelogen wird. Zahlungen, welche im Anschluss an die Reise an das Hotel gezahlt wurden, werden nicht verdankt, womit der Kunde definitiv nicht im Zentrum steht, sondern einfach nur das grosse Geld gemacht werden will. Frühstück ist zwar kostenlos (inkl. im Zimmerpreis, womit ja bezahlt!) und nicht wahnsinnig üppig. Noch mehr abzocken würde man den Gast, wenn dieser das überteuerte Angebot eines organisierten Abholtaxis bucht. Somit einfach dieses Angebot unbeantwortet lassen und nicht buchen, da das Hotel in ca. 10 Min. vom Bahnhof problemlos erreichbar ist.

24/10/2023Personnel très accueillant. En ce qui concerne l hôtel on nous vend un 4 étoiles mais ce n est pas du tout a la hauteur. Au lieu d avoir deux lits j ai dormi dans un canapé. La Poignée de porte qui nous reste dans les mains dès en arrivant. Fuite dans la douche mûr tout humide. Aucune insonorisation dans les chambres. Petit déjeuner très médiocre. Très mal situé dans une rue très sale avec des rats le soir. Je ne recommande pas du tout.

16/09/2023Malade du Covid la veille de notre départ pour Naples, l’hôtel s'est défaussé derrière les conditions d'annulation du site Booking pour nous faire payer la moitié du séjour alors que le site stipulait que l’Hôtel était libre de reconsidérer les motifs de l'annulation et d’offrir des conditions plus favorables aux clients. Un voyageur contraint d‘annuler un voyage se retrouve confronté aux frais d'annulation (avion ,Hôtel, activités,..), mais il semble que de leur côté, les hôtels sont loin d'être les perdants de l’affaire, puisqu'une simple simulation de réservation dès le lendemain sur Booking ne permettait déjà plus de réserver la moindre chambre dans cet hôtel aux mêmes dates. Il en ressort un sentiment d'amertume qui nous incite à blacklister cet Hôtel pour la reprogrammation prochaine de notre séjour à Naples.

03/09/2023Camera mediocre senza bidet, senza set di cortesia, asciugacapelli rotto, Il Wi-fi non funziona e il servizio del parcheggio non è stato valido. Abbiamo dovuto recuperare la macchina a piedi e non è stata portata davanti all’hotel come ci avevano detto.

23/04/2023Hotel très bruyant. L'amabilité et le professionnalisme du personnel n'ont pas suffit à nous faire oublier la mauvaise expérience. Nous avons été réveillés les 3 nuits par des gens qui criaient dans les couloirs, à toute heure de la nuit. Le manque de respect des gens n'incombe pas au personnel qui a fait son possible pour veiller à la tranquillité des autres. Mais l'hôtel etant un guest house, Les chambres sont souvent louées par des groupes qui ne pensent pas à la tranquillité des autres. Les chambres ne sont absolument pas insonorisées, nous entendons tous les bruits des chambres voisines ou des agents d'entretien. Dès que nos voisins allaient aux toilettes ou à la douche on avait l'impression d'avoir un tracteur dans la chambre. Si vous voulez vous dormir la nuit, ce ne sera pas dans cet hôtel. Odeur d'égout et d'humidité. Petit déjeuné pauvre, pas de produits frais (biscotte, pain et pancakes industriels). 1 choix de charcuterie et fromage à l'air libre pendant 3h, sans glace. Le dimanche, en revanche, plus de choix. Emplacement proche des transports en commun et du centre historique, ce qui est confortable. En revanche nous n'étions pas tranquille de nous promener dans le quartier de la gare le soir.

Siamo stati accolti dalla dolce e professionale Martina che ha prontamente risposto alle nostre esigenze. La colazione é abbondante e variegata. Consiglio assolutamente! Io ritornerò!
