14/06/2026the food is quite expensive but the quality was good, the service was very very bad, they talked very rude, did not want to explain, sarcastic, and didn’t even say thank you when we pay. I sat for 30 minutes and paid 79 euro. With that service, nobody will go back. I attach the photo of the rude waiter.

25/05/2026Looks like a long queue but it never is, the seat allocator is an absolute pro and works like a steam engine to get people seated - we watched him while we ate, what a legend! The service was great, beef cheek like a hug buttery steak. We regretted getting a starter as we had no room to finish the meal.ornget dessert. I would go again definitely but get multiple dishes to share as big portions.

23/05/2026We were seated right away, but were then waiting 12 min for someone to come take our order. After ordering 2 carbonara’s (literally 3 ingredients) we were waiting 30 min for the food. We were seated at the same time as people around us, and even before some others, and they got their food and were finished way before we even got ours. When we said something, they disregarded us and said these were normal waiting times. The service fee is 4€, so the pasta comes out to 23-25€, depending on the dish and it was average at best and lukewarm when it arrived. They didn’t apologise either, but were rather rude. We should’ve just left after 10 min of being ignored.

Portion was maybe good for 3 year old child and the waiter was grumpy and felt like he just wanted us to leave as soon as we can.... price is too high for what you get..also they pay us for "coperto" service for 15€? Nonsense, i advise you to not come here it is not worth a cent

The cotoletta was not authentic at all — no bone, thin, dry, basically a schnitzel — yet priced at 45€. Prices do not match what is shown online, and there was an added 10€ service charge. Overpriced, misleading, and poor quality. Avoid this place.

19/04/2026Went on a Saturday night. Lasagne tasted microwaved, Pizza had burnt bits cut off and the cacio e pepe was poor. It was expensive so you expect good quality but it is definitely not worth it.

08/03/2026We had a wonderful evening at Taverna del Borgo Antico in the beautiful Brera district of Milan. The atmosphere is warm, authentic and very Italian. The food was excellent — we enjoyed a delicious lasagna for our child and a perfectly cooked beef steak served on a hot stone, which made the experience both interactive and memorable. We paired it with a lovely bottle of Valpolicella Ripasso, which was a perfect match. What truly made the evening special, however, was our waiter Shabbir. His service was exceptional. Attentive, professional and incredibly thoughtful, he represents the highest standard of hospitality and truly elevates the image of the restaurant. He paid attention to every detail throughout the evening. At the end he kindly brought limoncello for us and even surprised our child with a lollipop, which made her very happy. These small gestures show genuine care and professionalism. Shabbir is a real asset to the restaurant and absolutely deserves recognition — and a promotion. Service like his is rare and makes guests want to return. Thank you for such a memorable dining experience. We will definitely come back! Thank you.

26/02/2026The service was friendly. I ordered a carbonara, but in my opinion, the portion would have been enough for a child. The pasta itself was fine, but the meat was so salty that it overpowered the whole dish. The dish was at most lukewarm. I probably won’t go there again.

13/02/2026Clearly a “tourist trap” Restaurant that probably doesn’t represent authentic Italian cooking. My Cacio el Pepe was under Al dente and was sitting in too much cream sauce. Was also on the cooler end of warm. Another pizza we ordered was extremely soggy in the centre. Is this typical? The location is on a “quieter” side street of Brera. And the service was friendly and English fluent. A lovely patio for people watching. But I def would not recommend. Had I seen The reviews, I would not have eaten here.

12/06/2026Très déçus par ce restaurant. En plus de prix déjà élevés, les couverts sont facturés en supplément. Nous avons payé 18 € pour une assiette de pâtes très peu garnie, 10 € pour une bière de 40 cl (volume indiqué sur le verre) et 5 € pour une bouteille d’eau qui semblait simplement remplie au robinet. Résultat : 64 € pour deux personnes, avec seulement un plat et une boisson chacun. Un rapport qualité-prix totalement injustifié. Nous avons eu le sentiment d’être dans un véritable piège à touristes. À éviter si vous ne souhaitez pas avoir une mauvaise surprise au moment de l’addition.

07/06/2026Würde am liebsten gar keinen Stern geben... Das ist so eine Touristenfalle, bitte passt auf!! Haben dort Pasta bestellt gehabt beides p.P 20€ und für den Preis erwartet man schon einiges. Nudeln waren nicht fertig gekocht und Pesto auf den Nudeln hat garnicht nach Pesto geschmeckt..?? Also es war wirklich Nudeln + Pesto aus Dose rausgenommen und draufgeklatscht... Dafür 20€ zu verlangen ist schon krass... Das eigentliche Problem hier ist, das man Servicegebühren zahlt & als Ausländer bzw. Tourist weiß man sowas nicht, ehe man bekommt es erklärt oder gesagt. Als die Rechnung kam war es deutlich teurer als erwartet... Naja Im Großen und ganzen; würde niemals nochmal dort hin...

24/05/2026Fui con mi madre y nos gustó mucho, la comida estuvo muy buena.Pedimos una pasta con pesto tomates y una especie de piñones, estaba buenisima, un cocktail de gamas con ensalada, un agua natural y otra con gas y nos cobraron 53€. Está en pleno centro de Brera, teniendo en cuenta eso, ybqueblas raciones son bastante generosas ,podemos considerar que es precio medio en Milan. A destacar, la actitud de todos los camareros, en especial a Roberto, que fue el hombre que nos tocó. A pesar de ser un día extremadamente caluroso, en el que apenas se podía estar en la calle, y pesar de tener la terraza llena, se mantuvo super atento a todo, adelantandose a cualquier necesidad del cliente y encima simpático, sin perder ni un ápice de profesionalidad. De verdad, una actitud para enmarcar. Esos fueron los motivos que nos llevaron a dejar propina.

Un ambiente excelente y está en una zona muy concurrida de bares y restaurantes La comida no es mala La pizza y las ensaladas muy buenas. En cambio la carne no estaba buena, supongo que no ha sido su mejor día. Pero bueno aún así es recomendable.

27/04/2026Wir waren zu viert dort. Das Essen war im Gegensatz zu den anderen Restaurants, in denen wir gegessen haben, bisher das schlechteste – und gleichzeitig das teuerste. Für eine Pizza fast 20 € zu verlangen, ist wirklich unter aller Sau. Von den Getränkepreisen will ich gar nicht erst anfangen: Für eine Cola (200 ml) 5 € und für ein Wasser 4 € – das ist absolute Abzocke. Und wie viele hier schon erwähnt haben, sind die Portionen bei den Pasta-Gerichten unterirdisch. Davon wird nicht einmal ein Kind satt. Als wir dann die Rechnung bekommen haben, waren wir überrascht, dass wir 20 € mehr zahlen mussten. Uns wurde erklärt, dass es sich um eine Servicegebühr handelt. Der Service hat sich allerdings in keiner Weise von anderen Restaurants unterschieden. Zum Schluss hat der Kellner sich dann auch noch selbst Trinkgeld auf der Quittung angekreuzt und mitgenommen. Nie wieder!!!

Der Laden ist ein absoluter Touri Scam, neben einer Service Charge pro Person wird man gezwungen Trinkgeld zu geben. Die Getränkepreise sind unverschämt hoch. Never again und nicht recommended!Fünf euro um dort zu Essen unverschämt

06/04/2026Esperienza purtroppo deludente. Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante per la posizione, molto carina e centrale, ma si è rivelato una classica trappola per turisti. Io ho preso la parmigiana di melanzane: discreta, ma nulla di speciale, con un sapore piuttosto piatto e non all’altezza delle aspettative. Mio marito invece ha preso una pizza, anch’essa nella media, senza particolari qualità che giustifichino il prezzo. I prezzi sono decisamente alti rispetto a ciò che viene servito, e il rapporto qualità-prezzo non è soddisfacente. L’atmosfera è carina, ma si paga soprattutto la posizione più che il cibo. A Milano ci sono tante alternative migliori, sia per qualità che per prezzo. Non tornerei e non lo consiglierei.

Se salvan un poco los macarrones a la carbonara y las patatas fritas. Por lo demás, 5 € por una coca cola de 33cl y 10 € por una cerveza...una pasada y 14 € por el servicio. En definitiva, iros a otro sitio.

08/03/2026Nachdem wir von den kleinen Pasta Portionen gelesen haben, haben wir Pizza bestellt, die war wirklich gut aber total überteuert. Der Laden ist ein absoluter Touri Scam, neben einer Service Charge pro Person wird man gezwungen Trinkgeld zu geben. Die Getränkepreise sind unverschämt hoch. Never again und nicht recommended!

02/03/2026Location incredibile nel centro città aspetto estetico invitante con tovagli a quadretti e arredi da trattoria. Personale davvero poco empatico e professionale tanto da dichiarare apertamente di non aver tempo da perdere nell'auto semplice di consiglio sulla degustazione. Cibo non presentato adeguatamente ne di buona qualità. Per ora la peggio esperienza a Milano

23/02/2026대머리 키그고 건장한 서버남자 처음 앉을때부터 틱틱거리면서 서비스 시작 봉골레 조개 껍질담는 접시도 안주고 영어대신 못하는 이탈리아어 한다고 뒤에서 동료랑 손님 뒷담이나 까고 .. 다른손님한테는 친절하면서 우리테이블은 맛있게 잘 먹었는지 묻지도 않고 봉골레는 기름범벅에 조개 해감도 안돼있고 스파게티 익힘도 팅팅불어서 면끼리 다 붙음 다먹고 계산할때 대머리 아저씨한테 당신서비스와 음식이 별로였다라고하니 그래서 어쩔 다먹었잖아? 이지랄 그런정신으로 왜 음식장사함??

20/02/2026Tady Vas lakaji a jsou mili jen dokud si nesednete. Potom uz je nezajimate a jde jenom o penize. Jidlo je absolutne prumer, spis podprumer. Automaticky zaplatíte za servis, ktery za to absolutne nestoji. Byl to nejvyssi poplatek ze vsech restauraci s daleka nejhorsim zazitkem. Jeste jsme musely samy chodit za obsluhou a prosit, aby nam neco prinesli. Atmosfera byla nejslabsi z cele Italie a penize bych radeji nechala jinde.

14/02/2026Super repas, très bon service. Cependant en tant que français il faut manger en mangeant un apéritif ou une entrée avant car les pâtes sont pas très copieuse mais sinon super service. Super bonne pizza. Excellente pizza au thon et au fromage.. je reviendrais !
