Very disappointing experience. I ordered sunny-side-up eggs without bacon and specifically requested them to be well done. The first dish arrived with bacon despite my request. After sending it back, the replacement eggs were still not cooked as requested and arrived medium-well instead of well done. I was also charged for water even though the Healthy Breakfast menu clearly stated that water was included with the meal. To make matters worse, the attitude of the employee at checkout was unprofessional and unfriendly. I felt as though I was asking for a favor rather than paying customer. Mistakes can happen, but the poor service and lack of respect made the experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, I would not return and cannot recommend this restaurant.

If you want to be properly ripped off, this is the place to go. When you arrive at 5 minutes to 7 pm, you’re told the minimum spend is 20 euros for an aperitif. You sit down, order, and when you go to pay, you’re told that a minimum spend of 40 euros is required. Because there’s a different rate after 7 pm. It would all be fine if someone had said something beforehand, but without anyone saying a word, it’s an utter disgrace. They’ve now added a pizza to the second round. This is about how you treat customers, and it’s pathetic if you have to generate your turnover like this. It probably wouldn’t be possible any other way.

We visited for brunch as a family of eight and, unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. We ordered eight dishes from the all-day dining menu, including the avocado toast, salmon, meatballs, beef tartare, watermelon salad, and chicken club sandwich. The avocado toast was below average, while the salmon, meatballs, and beef tartare were just okay and nothing memorable. The biggest disappointment was the watermelon salad, which tasted stale and was not enjoyable at all. The chicken club sandwich was decent, but certainly not enough to make up for the rest of the meal. I also ordered a matcha latte, which initially had almost no matcha flavor. I had to send it back and ask for more matcha to be added before it tasted as expected. One of the main reasons people visit this place is for the supposed Duomo view, but there is absolutely no meaningful view of the Duomo from here. If you’re coming specifically for the view, you’ll likely be disappointed. Overall, the food was underwhelming, the drinks were poorly prepared, and the lack of any worthwhile view made the experience even more frustrating. The only positive aspect was the service—the staff were friendly and courteous throughout. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place.

Beautiful view of the Duomo and very elegant atmosphere. Very expensive but makes sense. The drinks were great and my friend’s carrot cake was “the best she’s ever had”! The manager Ivano was very sweet and brought it over with sparklers and music to make my friend’s birthday special. He also let us bypass the 40 euro minimum spend per person because we did not see it before our reservation and we are broke college kids. Staff was also very accommodating and friendly.

The Dome Rooftop was absolutely fantastic. After dinner, we wanted to relax and enjoy a few drinks there, and since we had a reservation, we were very excited about the experience. The view is simply breathtaking. Every single employee was extremely friendly, the drinks were delicious, and we had a truly wonderful afternoon there. We did not try the food, so I cannot rate that part, but the service was excellent, the drinks were excellent, and the atmosphere and view were outstanding. I also really loved the minimalist and elegant design — it is exactly my style. Definitely an absolute recommendation.

We had such a great experience here. Even though the rooftop was very busy and almost full, Salvador was incredibly kind and managed to find us a table, which we really appreciated. The view was absolutely stunning, the atmosphere was amazing, and both the food and drinks were excellent. A special thanks as well to Eduardo for the great drink recommendations , we loved every single one he suggested. Overall, one of the best rooftop experiences we had in Milan. The entire staff was so friendly, welcoming, and professional. Highly recommended!

This place feels very luxurious from the moment you arrive. The atmosphere, the decor and the view all make the experience feel special. The food was delicious and I especially loved the pesto dish so much. Yes, the prices are definitely higher compared to more casual places in Milan, but honestly the beautiful rooftop view, elegant setting, and excellent service make it easier to overlook the price. Perfect place if you want a more fancy Milan experience.

So dissapointed. I came here after seeing an insta post about it but 1 when you are sitting the view is very minimal. The place is basic. 2 Super high prices especially for less than average taste and minimal portion.😓 3 Food took forever to come. 4 They charge extra for service ?! 8 euro. But why ? No special service was given. Not even bread and oil upon arrival. 5 They charge extra 5 euro for a sprinkle of truffle on the risotto gosh. We didnt know that i wouldnt have asked !!

I am not sure why this place had so many bad reviews , I was hesitant but I was sold on the roof top. Not sure what people expect , Italians have personality , the food was great the service was great we went for lunch at 1pm , we had expresso martini , avocado toast , the place is super cute , they have fabulous drinks , people are stylish ! Yes it’s expensive so if you are on a budget dont come !!! The pink lemonade is a must !

I ordered the pancake experience for breakfast and the fruit was just old, i dont understand why they couldnt use fresh fruit. It was quite gross. The server had a bit of an attitude, overall poor service poor food. The avacado on toast is flavourless and the salmon tastes old as well. Really really poor

We had a disappointing experience at this cocktail bar. The overhead heater was not working, and after asking the staff three times to turn it on, we were finally told on the fourth request that they had “forgotten” to mention it was broken. It was uncomfortably cold, made worse by the restaurant being poorly sealed around the plastic wrap. The cocktails were also underwhelming and did not meet expectations. We were also surprised by a minimum spend of €40 per person, which was only clearly mentioned during the reservation process on their website, not through the quick links on Google Maps. We decided to honor it and stay anyway, but it felt misleading. Service was not welcoming at all. There was no warm greeting or proper goodbye. Only the older gentleman was friendly; the rest of the staff were not, especially the dark-haired man with the ponytail. Overall, a poor experience, and not somewhere we would return to.

This was, sadly, a big disappointment. We came here expecting a nice view and good drinks, but the experience fell short. Our table had no view at all, just the building next to us, even though the bar was almost empty and seats with a better view were available and stayed empty for the entire visit. There was also a lot of construction noise, which was quite annoying. It seemed they were trying out a new menu, but it felt like no one really knew what was going on. There were two different versions linked via the QR code, which caused confusion. A regular drink menu would have been much better. We were served a wrong drink, and the waiter couldn’t identify which was which. The bar manager stepped in and resolved the issue, which we appreciated. He also promised to bring us a small gesture before we left, but nothing ever came. Unfortunately, my drink also contained a small piece of green plastic. Overall, the experience felt disorganized, and the high-class standard the bar aims for was not met at all. I can’t comment on the food, as we left after the first round of drinks.

Visited The Dome Milano for breakfast to celebrate my sister’s birthday. The pancakes were nice and enjoyable, but overall the food felt quite basic for the price you pay. The view, however, was lovely and definitely a highlight of the experience but there was a plastic sheet covering it (I assume for the colder months) which made it harder to see out of. The setting is beautiful, but I expected a bit more in terms of quality and creativity considering the cost.

The service was awful: pressuring us towards the exit, cold/annoyed and not welcoming at all, even forgot to bring us the water (but didn't forget to put it on the bill, of course). The rooftop venue is very pretty, with a nice view above the roofs. There is a view from the balcony directly to the place of the Duomo. This was the highlight, but note that the restaurant is on the 2nd floor when there are no renovation works. The food was objectively good, but in my opinion not up to the standards I was expecting from the price. And if you are hungry you will want to take the pasta + a second dish.

Decided to come here for drinks since it was the closest to us. Start of the experience (man at the entrance and wardrobe) nothing bad to say. Loved the welcome vibe we got and gotta say it started all good. But as soon as u r seated at the table the bad service starts. We came for cocktails just so u know. We cant say anything about the food. The waiters gave out a robot vibe - noone smiles at you and they just seem kinda lost at what they r doing. Normally that doesnt bother me but here it was next level so all of us noticed it. Signiture cocktails were good (especially 4) but i sure love a good pornstar martini. Have drank quite a lot of them in my life but this one didnt seem/taste like one at all. I know every bar has their own recipe but this one was not similar to anyone i know. Still drinkable tho I finished it quite quickly but still - u ought to know. When we felt like ordering one more we called one of the waiters - she said she cant take orders so we waited. All of a sudden a girl from the entrance comes with the bill explaining us how we can pay. HELLO?! I know we were without a reservation but u could come and say "excuse me but i need the table etc etc"...I MEAN WHAAAT! The view not even great the interior design is. If u need some milano instagram rooftopbar pics sure do come but everything else is horrible. And yes one cocktail is 20-22€. Not worth it and saying it this as a bartender of couple of years

Disaster! We found this restaurant on Instagram and were attracted by the nice interior. Unfortunately, deciding to have lunch here turned out to be our worst decision. The food was, to put it mildly, terrible. Very cheap ingredients. I didn’t even touch my dish and politely complained about it, but the staff completely ignored the issue and simply turned their heads away. No apology, no attempt to fix the situation, nothing. The service was just as bad. The waitress was pushy and annoying while taking the order, and once the food arrived, she never came back to check if everything was okay. Basic hospitality was nonexistent. The entire team was a disaster. A huge disappointment and honestly a shame for Italy. This is the first truly bad restaurant I have experienced in this country. My advice: don’t go. Save yourself from bad food and pathetic service.

Horrible service, so unfriendly and bitchy! The poached egg on the avocado toast was ice cold and the avocado was brown and not green. Pancakes also cold. We waited an hour for our coffeesand had to ask a few times until we got them. The hostess came and threw the receipt on the table and walked away without looking at us because we complained about the food. There was only one friendly server, woman with long brown hair. The only „nice“ thing was that they took the avocado toasts off the bill. Never again, so many better places in Milan.

Partiamo che già al momento della prenotazione sono stati subito molto gentili e cordiali ( cosa non scontata al giorno d oggi) Poi tutto è stato semplicemente perfetto dal cibo ( pizze buonissime ) al servizio ragazzi gentili e super veloci ! Di per sé ora che sono state apportate modifiche con una nuova direzione sembrerebbe che il luogo sia stato pensato in maniera più estetica e con un ottima disposizione dello spazio. Appena arrivati ci siamo sentiti super accolti, ma senza esser stati avvisati che avremmo dovuto lasciare il tavolo (tra l’altro il secondo più bello che c’è all’interno della terrazza) dopo 1h e mezza. Abbiamo fatto un aperitivo inizialmente, continuando la nostra permanenza ci siamo voluti prendere una pizza e fare il secondo giro. Arrivate le 19.00 arriva il direttore di sala che si chiama Ivano e ci parla in inglese dicendoci che dovevamo pagare e andare secondo noi anche un po’ brillino per il tono e il portamento che ha avuto nel comunicarcelo. Cerchiamo di finire il nostro drink comunque senza fretta e ritorna Ivano parlandoci nuovamente in inglese al che lo informo che siamo italiani e che ci poteva parlare benissimo in italiano e ci dice nuovamente che ce ne dobbiamo andare trattandoci con un modo nè carino nè elegante. Ora io non vorrei mai far sentire i miei clienti a disagio per la propria etnia dato che li ho voluti portare io e sono stata molte volte in terrazza con la vecchia direzione. Ma purtroppo è successo che si è creato del disagio anche semplicemente per pagare e recuperare i nostri averi dove tra l’altro sempre Ivano mi guarda e mi dice se posso andare con lui a recuperarci le cose perché non sapeva dove fossero e di base nemmeno io dato che quando siamo entrati siamo stati accolti in modo differente senza la presenza di questa persona. Mi spiace lasciare una recensione così perché conosco chi ci lavora da anni e so la dedizione e il rispetto che hanno anche quando è un giorno no ma purtroppo tutti noi del tavolo abbiamo riscontrato lo stesso disagio per le mancanze di rispetto da parte di Ivano.

L'insistenza nel ribadire di consumare minimo per 40 euro risulta fastidiosa e denigratoria. Ho trovato anche seccante il farci alzare per far posto a una comitiva di altre persone. Cocktails discreti e location carina. Non credo comunque che valga la pena una seconda visita.

Carino il posto l’arredamento è molto bello ma il cibo è mediocre e sovrapprezzato ho ordinato dei drink il primo era buono davvero mentre il secondo (doveva essere lo stesso) aveva un colore diverso e non era per niente buono come il primo.. nonostante la mia amica avesse prenotato ci hanno messo in un tavolo insieme ad altre persone che non sembravano (giustamente) molto contente della nostra presenza al loro tavolo. Il costo è troppo alto per la qualità del cibo e dei drink che a volte sono buoni a volte no e il servizio non è dei migliori abbiamo aspettato 1 ora per una bottiglia di acqua 66€ euro a testa per 4 pizze e 10 drink e una bottiglia di acqua e una torta eravamo in 5 capisco che la location sia bella però è una trappola per turisti.

The Dome a Milano e’ stato una splendida sorpresa, sono andata per la vista sul Duomo e per la decantata particolare location con Rooftop. La cameriera molto gentilmente ci ha chiesto se eravamo disposte ad attendere 10 minuti in modo da assaggiare la Wow Cake, noi abbiamo accettato non sapendo assolutamente cosa fosse. Siamo rimaste favorevolmente stupite. Non si può andare a Milano senza andare al The Dome.

Ospite con altre persone per il Salone del Risparmio, abbiamo cenato in questa location bellissima! La tartare deliziosa, come pure il risotto e il dolce che era poesia. L'atmosfera rilassante,confortevole, resa perfetta dalla musica di sottofondo, ci ha permesso di trascorrere una serata molto piacevole. Ma cibo, location,servizio a parte,che erano perfetti, la vera magia è la vista...una volta affacciata sono rimasta senza respiro!!! L'affaccio sul Duomo e ciò che si gode da lì,al settimo piano del bellissimo ed elegante palazzo,è incredibile!!! La città non sembra più fatta di cemento o altro, ma di preziose pietre multicolori rovesciate che illuminano la notte. È un mosaico di luci che raccontano vite che si ammirano dall'alto. Un locale molto romantico. Grazie per la cura ed il servizio ineccepibile,una serata da ricordare.

Lication fantastica sul rooftop al settimo piano, si gode la vista fi tutta Milano e della piazza Duomo. Ambiente rilassante dove è piacevole pranzare. Personale gentile e attento. Cibo buono e discreta varietà di piatti. Ottimi i cocktails, personalmente ho preso lo Dome spritz ed era molto buono. Prezzi nella norma dei locali milanesi di questo rango. Obbligatoria la prenotazione per accedere immediatamente con l ascensore al roof top, altrimenti toccherà attendere in strada. Locale molto consigliato!

Een mooie rooftop, mooi interieur en een relaxte sfeer. Je merkt wel dat heel veel mensen hier naartoe komen omdat het bekend is van sociale media. Dit kan als storend worden ervaren door andere mensen die daar lekker willen komen om te genieten van een drankje, koffie of gebakje. De rooftop is prima voor een drankje, cocktail of klein hapje. Het eten vind ik iets minder en het is aardig duur allemaal. Houdt hier rekening mee. Verder een oké plek als je een rooftop wilt bezoeken, dichtbij Duomo en even een drankje wilt doen.

restaurant sehr schön mit eigenem DJ. Dome jedoch nur minim ersichtlich. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit vorallem Claudio :). Das Essen ebenfalla sehr gut, leider jedoch sehr teuer. Haben für 3 Personen fürs Frühstück 110 Euro bezahlt.

Uns wurden im Vorfeld bereits für eine Reservierung von 4 Personen 400€ von der Kreditkarte abgebucht. Das mag mit Olympia zu rechtfertigen sein. Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut. Der Service gar nicht. Öl und Brot nur auf 3x nachfragen und Wartezeit. Kein Nachschenken, Essen hat lange gedauert. Getränke wurden mehrmals vergessen. Wir hatten ein Zeitlimit der Reservierung - das hätten wir nicht mal geschafft, wenn wir es gewollt hätten, da Küche und Service dafür zu langsam waren. Danach Jacken abholen im 2. Stock - hier war niemand und die Jacken waren unbewacht auf einem Ständer. Also ins EG, dort jemanden gebeten, zu helfen. Alles nicht sehr schlimm - aber wenn man 100€/Person im Vorfeld abbucht, sollten man Basics hinbekommen.

L’accoglienza alll’ingresso molto friendly e piacevole… l’ambiente non ha bisogno di descrizioni ma ciò che mi ha colpito di più è la professionalità dei nuovi ragazzi! Accoglienza sorriso cura per l’ospite. Grande nota di merito a Rakib (credo si chiami così). Mi ha preparato dei cocktail buonissimi. Grazie ragazzi avanti così! 🫶🏼

Il The Dome, affacciato sul Duomo di Milano, è un luogo che lascia senza fiato. L’aperitivo qui non è solo un momento di relax, ma una vera esperienza sensoriale, sospesa tra cielo e città. Il panorama è spettacolare e i cocktail sono curati nei minimi dettagli, in particolare il gin tonic, presentato con un unico grande blocco di ghiaccio, elegante e scenografico, che esalta gusto e raffinatezza. Un posto dove ogni dettaglio parla di stile, bellezza e attenzione, perfetto per chi vuole vivere Milano dall’alto, con un drink impeccabile e una vista indimenticabile.

Frequento questo locale da tempo e confermo l'ottima qualità dei piatti e dei pacchetti colazione. Purtroppo, non posso dire lo stesso del servizio: l'esperienza è spesso rovinata da una gestione poco coordinata e caotica, soprattutto nel weekend.Il problema principale sembra essere il sovraccarico delle prenotazioni rispetto alla reale disponibilità e agli spazi ristretti, il che crea un clima di caos anziché di relax. Ho riscontrato anche diverse disattenzioni, dalle dimenticanze negli ordini fino a errori nello scontrino. Anche l'accoglienza all'ingresso è poco chiara e la gestione delle prenotazioni appare poco uniforme. È un locale con un ottimo potenziale e cibo valido, ma il margine di miglioramento sul coordinamento operativo è davvero ampio. Non il mio ristorante preferito in piazza duomo.
