02/08/2025The restaurant is a classy restaurant but I was surprised that the food was terrible pizza was burned and the cheese and tomato tastes bad the spaghetti was very dry and tasteless in general all the food was tasteless The only good thing in the Rosa the location and the good out doors sitting area and the waiters were really angry and rude I expect better as the restaurant is expensive comparing to other restaurants in the area

23/03/2025We had really nice food here with sizeable portions. I had the traditional Milanese elefant ear (slice of veal) and it was really good. My girlfirend had veal ribs, they were medium rare and it was absolutely amazing! The wine was also good and their tiramisu top tier. At the end we also got 2 shots of Limoncoello from the house. We definetely recoomend this place!

01/12/2024If you want an original Italian experience, this is the place to go. Food was amazing. The atmosphere and people were very welcoming. If you're hungry, get the primi, secondo and all. If not, enjoy a homemade pizza in a wood fired oven. The house wine was a lambrusco, mild and dry. The "mele" apple pie with ice cream was great to top it off. Dine in, you will appreciate it.

The Osso Buco, Cotoletta Milanese, and Risotto Saffron were nicely prepared and enjoyable, paired well with good wine. The service was mixed—while some staff were respectful and attentive, others fell short of expectations. Unfortunately, the experience ended on a sour note when the cashier (possibly the owner) charged €4 per person for a small shot of limoncello, which is typically complimentary in similar restaurants in Milan. This charge felt unreasonable and detracted from an otherwise pleasant lunch. There are undoubtedly better options in Milan where such practices are more in line with the dining culture.

08/11/2024Despite the rough, very family style, service, the food is super authentic and 100% following the original Milan style. The place is very Central, walking distance from Cadorna. Super suggested to have Cotoletta alla Milanese (Elephant Ear). You won't regret it!

27/10/2024If you've ever heard the saying about knowing a restaurant is good by whether the locals eat there, Rita & Antonio's meets that. We arrived just at it opened and were the day's first customer's. Within half an hour, the place was filling fast. The food was great, I had a Diavola pizza and my family members had pasta dishes that they enjoyed. I would have loved to try the veal cutlet but that will have to be another time. Highly recommend this hole in the wall tucked away near Sforza Castle.

11/06/2024Over 12 months on in September 2025 we came back and again had the scallopini limone and it was again outstanding. This time with mash and applepie with icecream to finish off. No sign of Antonio who is now in his early 80s and slowing down a bit. We ca't wait until next time to do it all again. This was a truly memorable eveningg in MIlan. The wine and beer before after and during dinner was enjoyable and the Veal with limone was outstanding. Followed up with tiramasu for desert it was one of the culinary highlights of our European trip at 87 Euros it was good value.The pizza with fresh ham(15 euro) the next day was spectacular as well. It was interesting to see that the Boss still had the same demenour (grumpy).

Coperto un peu excessif (3€ par personne) par rapport à ce qu'on peut trouver ailleurs à Milan, mais l'un des serveurs était vraiment adorable et accueillant, ce qui nous a charmé!

31/01/2026Pane ottimo, fatto in casa, davvero buonissimo. Anche il vino della casa ci è piaciuto molto. Il risotto è stato eccellente, uno dei piatti migliori: cremoso e saporito. Il vitello alla milanese (“orecchia di elefante”) era buono, ma per il mio gusto personale senza particolare emozione. Detto questo, l’ossobuco era molto buono e il dessert davvero eccellente. Nel complesso, ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, locale piacevole e curato. Un posto dove tornerei volentieri. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

12/12/2024In pausa pranzo in un mercoledì di dicembre il locale scoppiava. Ciononostante ci hanno trovato un tavolo da 8. Non abbiamo mangiato male ma il cameriere è stato estremamente scortese. Ho chiesto una tagliata e quando ha iniziato a portarne alcune ai commensali, ho visto che la carne era molto cruda. Ho chiesto allora se cortesemente potevano cuocerla un po’ di più per me che sono incinta e carne cruda non ne posso proprio mangiare. Risposta: questa poi non è tagliata, allora doveva ordinare la fesa di tacchino. Cafone. Capisco la folla e tutto ma si tratta di un tema molto serio. Mi avrebbe piuttosto dovuto consigliare lui in fase di scelta di evitare la tagliata perché servita molto cruda, come accade nei locali competenti e preparati. Più che locale storico direi vecchio e con mentalità vecchia. Evitate.

15/07/2024Locale abbastanza grande vecchio stile con personale molto disponibile e gentile. Il menù offre vari spunti ma sempre in un ambito di cucina classica e di casa. Si trovano le tagliatelle al Ragù o la cotoletta orecchio di elefante o prosciutto e melone etc. Nulla di eccezionale ma per una cena fuori in tranquillità senza troppe pretese ci può stare... Ritornata dopo un po' di tempo nulla è cambiato. Stesso personale, stesse tovaglie, stesso menù da questo punto di vista una certezza.

03/05/2024Kotlet z cielęciny zwany Ucho Słonia oraz Osobucco były bardzo smaczne. Naprawdę nie żałuję, że zachęceni recenzjami na youtube przyjechaliśmy specjalnie do Mediolanu na te potrawy. Co prawda obsługa musiała, że jesteśmy z Rosji, ale zapewne pomylili nasz język polski z tym drugim.

02/05/2024Très bonne adresse. Cuisine italienne traditionnelle avec avec une clientèle plutôt locale. Les plats sont copieux et bien cuisinés, le service attentionné et (très) efficace. Si vous êtes pressé, vous serez bien et rapidement servis, et si vous ne l’êtes pas, vous aurez tout le temps d’explorer les à côtés de la carte qui ont l’air passionnants !
