This place was amazing. Super local, staff knew all the local customers by name. We were the only foregners there. Food was absolutely amazing. Best food we have had in Italy so far. We had the Spaghetti with clams and the Cacio e Pepe. So simple, but so flavourful. These are roman pasta, but better than we had in rome. Waiter recommended a awesome wine to match.

The carbonara was very good. We also asked for a pasta scoglio that wasn’t on the menu. The food itself was tasty, but the bill was a different story—we were charged an excessively high price for that off-menu dish, comparable to a lobster dish, even though it was just a simple substitution (pasta instead of rice from a risotto, that was on the menu). It felt like a bit of a rip-off. There are definitely better places to eat in Milan; this one feels very tourist-oriented.

Lari , Mehdi, Tony , Chef Roberto ABSOLUTELY AMAAAAZZZING THE BESSSST Restaurant in Milan I’m not over stating the food is the BESSSSST food I’ve tasted in Italy and I’ve traveled to Florence Amalfi Coast Rome and I have yet to find a restaurant as tasty with such high-quality customer service. You receive a complementary drink and appetizer. Everyone is so much love my highlight is that they have real truffle it’s the best pasta truffle, and best Seabass truffle I’ve ever tasted the loving service comes to your table and actually shaves the truffle right in front of you. You must try this restaurant I’ve so tasty. I’m here for work and I came back twice because it was unnecessary for me to try another restaurant. That’s how good my food was my second time back. I tried the steak with green pepper amazing the cocktails are tasty. Serve is loving and warm. You feel welcomed if you were in Milan you have to try this restaurant you will not be disappointed.

The food was terible, we got cold and not properlly cooked carbonara. The meat that costed 27 euros was the size of two bites and full of fat. Bruscheti is very expensive for one slice that u get. After all, the waiter tried to fool us, on the receipt he put two carbonaras and we ordered only one. Awful experience in total.

I don’t normally leave reviews but am doing so now. This restaurant was lovely - food great, service even better, but the reason I’m leaving only 2 stars is the service charge that was added automatically - 3 euro per person. I asked the waiter if it goes to him as a tip and he said no, it goes to the restaurant. I mean who even does that?? We left the waiter a tip in cash for him, but the fact that the restaurant add a cover charge has really irritated me.

We went here because it was near our hotel, but it turned out to be the best restaurant of our stay in Milan. The food was excellent, the wine was excellent even by the glass and the staff was ever helpful. I don’t like cheese, which is tough in Milan, but we had met the chef who said, he would be happy to make what would please us! We asked for wines by the glass, and they suggested choices, allowed us to taste them before buying. All three were excellent. This is probably a bit underrated, and a great find.

I honestly cannot understand the many negative reviews here. Our experience was excellent from start to finish. The food was outstanding, and the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The fact that many Italians dine here speaks for itself and reflects the quality of the restaurant. We started with a bottle of mineral water, which cost only €3 — a very fair price for Milan. As a complimentary starter, we were served a small cabbage salad with white bread, both fresh and very tasty. For our appetizer, we ordered an Insalata Mista, which was also fresh and well-prepared. As a main course, we had the Risotto Milanese — simply outstanding. The texture was perfect, wonderfully creamy, with beautiful flavors of butter, saffron, and Parmesan. Truly delicious. To finish, we enjoyed a very good espresso. We had a lovely table, and the service remained professional and attentive throughout our visit. We especially appreciated that the tables were carefully cleaned, disinfected, and reset after each guest — something we could clearly observe. The next time we are in Milan, we will definitely come back.

We walked all over Milan looking for a good place to eat. We passed this place several times because it was a 2 minute walk from our apartment. Turns out, it was the best place to eat in Milan. The wine menu is outstanding and the food is in incredible.

It was a wonderful experience. The waiters were lovely, helpful and fun. They accommodated my request of having a dip with foccaccia. We tried the risotto with equine meat and the agnolotti with cacio e pepe and they were both great. They also provided some complementary drinks and starter. The menu options were varied and interesting and worth the price.

Honestly, the moment I walked in and saw the white plastic chairs and the chaotic menu, I already knew nothing good was coming. A menu with hundreds of options and everything on it—how good can that really be? Unfortunately, I was very hungry and had already sat down. I chose this place solely because of the dozens of “excellent” reviews… which now makes me seriously wonder who wrote them and based on what criteria. In one word: terrible.

Possibly the best dining experience I've ever had, certainly the best in Italy. Myself and my friend arrived at Pane E Vino at 22:15pm, just 45 minutes before they were supposed to close. The few other customers that were there had already received their food and were leaving shortly, and so the staff would have been justified in being slightly annoyed at new customers arriving late. That didn't stop one of the staff members getting the door for us and enthusiastically welcoming us in. He left the wine menu for us but wasn't pushy at all, and then poured the mineralwater for us. The restaurant itself was very clean and elegant, beautifully laid out including the glass windows and spiral staircase, overall a very well-kept place. The 2nd waiter (a half-Russian chap) was very friendly and hilarious, making funny jokes that put us at ease. We were given a welcome drink as well as a small appetiser for free, which was a very pleasant surprise. We weren't too hungry so ordered a portion of garlic bread (only €4) and a pizza (€14) to share. The toilet was standard, however the tap was unfortunately not working. The pizza came quickly and was cut in half and put on two plates for us without us even asking, which was very thoughtful. The pizza (Pizza Tirolese, basically a margharita pizza with speck/schinken) which was "gorgeous"(😁), the olive oil on top being a nice extra touch. The half-Russian waiter continued his excellent service and making us laugh, whatever he's being paid it certainly isn't enough! Afterwards the waitress came over with a selection of desserts for us to choose from, and we chose the classic coffee Tiramasu (€8). This is only minor but I really appreciated her using Italian instead of speaking only English as many would. We paid up and left (cover charge was €3 per person dining), but we'll certainly be back soon as this restaurant ticks all the boxes - superb service, excellent food, and cheap enough prices while maintaining quality in all aspects. The team members at Pane E Vino clearly care about the quality of service they provide, as well as working well together as a team. Credit also to the owner whose hand I shook on the way out.

Unacceptable experience from start to finish We walked in and were immediately placed right in front of an insane heater — impossible to breathe comfortably from the beginning. We ordered: • a cheese selection • a carbonara • a bolognese Let’s start with the “cheese selection”: It was honestly a joke. Three times more cold cuts than cheese, no honey (which is supposed to be part of it), and to top it off, we were charged for focaccia we never ordered. To be fair, the staff tried to soften things a bit by offering a small welcome cocktail and an amuse-bouche, and the servers themselves were polite and friendly. As for the food: The pasta was good, probably the best part of the entire experience. Not the best pasta in Milan by far, but decent enough. Now the real problem: Because the heat was unbearable, I went to the counter to pay. That’s when the owner stepped in — loud, aggressive, constantly shouting. He handed me the wrong bill. When I pointed it out, instead of apologizing, he snapped: “Why are you even coming to the counter to pay?” “This is not McDonald’s.” He kept going, saying that by standing up to pay we had “disturbed” the staff and caused the mistake. No apology. No professionalism. Just ego and noise. He continued ranting in Italian, very likely throwing insults, while another couple behind us was just standing there, uncomfortable, waiting to pay. So let’s be clear: A place where you eat, pay, and get insulted by the owner is not a restaurant — it’s a mistake. 0 stars would be more accurate, but unfortunately Google doesn’t allow that. Never again.

Very disappointing experience. The service was cynical: We ordered three carbonaras and one steak with vegetables. The carbonara was not fresh and had an unpleasant smell. The steak was like chewing gum. We barely ate a few bites and wanted to pay. Instead of handling this professionally, the chef came out to insist the food was good. When the bill arrived, it included items we did not consume, including drinks we never ordered. Only after questioning it was the bill partially corrected. No apology was offered, and the cynical attitude continued until the end. We still paid for food we barely ate. Poor food, unprofessional service, and no accountability. Not recommended.

Beautiful place for great food. Tagliatelle pasta with black truffle and white pizza with black truffle was amazing. Spritz was really good so was the local beer. Restaurant gave us complimentary drinks and a little taste of the salad which was nice and a really warm gesture from the restaurant. Waiters were with great attitude and willing to talk.

Premessa: come al solito, prima di scegliere un posto dove mangiare, do un'occhiata alle recensioni. Ecco, dopo aver provato il locale, non capisco le tante recensioni pessime per questo ristorante. Personale gentile, professionale e cibo di alta qualità. Musica di sottofondo molto piacevole. Quello che presumo sia il proprietario del locale ci ha offerto due limoncelli a fine cena e anche lui molto accogliente con i clienti. Consigliatissimo!

Le "surclassement" sauvage ou l’art de prendre le client pour un distributeur Note : ⭐ Si vous cherchez un restaurant où l'on vous sert une addition plus salée que la pâte à pizza, vous êtes à la bonne adresse. Le concept est fascinant : vous commandez deux pizzas à 7 € et une bouteille de vin très sage à 24 €. Mais au moment de payer, miracle de l'arithmétique créative : la bouteille s'est transformée en un cru à 95 €. Une simple erreur de ligne sur la carte ? Sans doute. Ce qui est admirable, c'est le flegme du personnel : pas un sourcil qui tremble, pas une excuse, rien. On sent que l’exercice est rodé. Passer d’une addition de 40 € à plus de 110 € avec un tel aplomb relève de la performance artistique. On nous prend pour des touristes de passage ou simplement pour des imbéciles, au choix. Un conseil : vérifiez votre ticket de caisse avec la même rigueur qu’un contrat d’assurance, car ici, la "méprise" à 70 € semble être la spécialité de la maison.

Esperienza molto deludente. Tempo di attesa lunghissimo senza alcuna spiegazione. Il cameriere è stato antipatico e poco professionale. Inoltre hanno commesso diversi errori nel servizio e, invece di assumersi la responsabilità, hanno cercato di far pagare gli sbagli ai clienti. Hanno fatto finta di non capire le nostre richieste e ci hanno portato piatti che non avevamo ordinato, che poi hanno tentato di aggiungere al conto. Un comportamento poco corretto e molto scorretto. Sembra un classico ristorante acchiappa-turisti. Non lo consiglio.

Mi rendo conto che forse 5 stelle siano tante ma questo locale e soprattutto chi lo gestisce se le meritano tutte. Entriamo per caso e scopriamo una vera meraviglia proprio nel cuore storico di Milano, in zona Carrobbio / Colonne di San Lorenzo. Proprietari gentilissimi e super cordiali, accolgono con simpatia e ti fanno sentire come a casa. Il locale si presta sia per aperitivo sia per pranzo/cena con assoluta qualità in ogni situazione. Ottimo menù con ampia scelta di qualità. Eccellente cantina per soddisfare ogni esigenza. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente. Da Milanese DOC ho avuto il piacere di assaggiare la loro "cassoeula" e sono tornato con la mente a quella che mi faceva mia mamma...SUPER!!! Ho scoperto per caso questo locale ma posso dire che diventerò un cliente abituale, complimenti ai proprietari 👍👍👍👍👍

Auf unserer Tour durch Mailand wollten wir einen Wein zum Ausklang des Abends trinken. Wir fragten deshalb, ob es möglich si, sich nur einen Wein zu trinken, was bejaht wurde. Leider machte der Kellner danach einen patzigen Eindruck. Wir bestellten drei Getränke und bekamen Knabbereien und einen Gruß aus der Küche. Obwohl wir sagten, dass wir nichts essen wollten, bestand der Koch darauf, dass wir es annehmen, wäre im Preis drin. Leider mussten wir feststellen, dass dem nicht so war. Wir mussten drei Euro pro Person für diesen netten Gruß zahlen und die Getränke waren allesamt einen Euro teurer als auf der Karte. Also, ich kann hier keine Empfehlung aussprechen.

Il n’y a absolument aucune raison pour servir un expresso sans verre d’eau (jamais vu ça de ma vie), et puis refuser d’apporter un verre d’eau (possible seulement d’acheter une bouteille). Il n’y a aucune raison pour facturer le café 2€50 alors qu’il est écrit 1€30 sur l’ardoise. 2€50 pour un expresso sans verre d’eau c’est honteux !!

Che dire, siamo venuti arrivati a Milano all'ora di pranzo senza conoscere i locali e ci siamo fermati perché avevamo trovato nel menu i piatti unici, prezzi onesti e locale spazioso ed elegante. Il servizio è stato estremamente cortese e ci hanno subito sorpreso con un antipastino di benvenuto, un quadrato di polenta preparata alla perfezione con olio evo eccellente e parmigiano saporito. Nella semplicità abbiamo potuto apprezzare la qualità degli ingredienti. Il piatto unico era una festa nel piatto, un risottino mantecato burro e parmigiano da 10 e lode, un brasata cotto nel vibo (Barolo) che sprivionava aromi ed emozioni a ogni assaggio e ai accompagnava a un pure dalla consistenza finissima. Nella mia mania per le verdure ho ordinato nche una insalata, che era di troppo perché il piatto unico è abbondante e saporito, ma io proprio non ce la faccio a mangiare aenza abbondanti verdure. Piacevolmente sorpresi. Locale bello, cucina eccelsa a prezzi bassi che non mi sarei aspettato per Milano e la zona. Un riatorante da annotare e in cui tornare la prossima volta a Milabo. God mat men folktom restaurang, vi bokade för 9 pers och blev erbjudna att sitta nere i källaren. När vi skulle betala hade de lagt till en kostnad för chambre separé på notan, något vi absolut inte bett om eller fått information om. 😳Förrätten kryddade de med extra allt, vi bad om enkelt gott bröd, olivolja och lite parmaskinka - in kom kallskuret, friterat bröd och notan landade därefter.
