Possibly one of the finest restaurants to be in and around the Brera Area. Excellent food. Friendly service and a great owner - Agostino. The Meat Balls are dangerous- you will keep order more of this - as the Rose Wine kicks in. Must visit. The Ravioli Truffel is absolutely the best.

We were sat quickly. My teens ordered fillets and were very happy with them. We all enjoyed the meatball appetizer. I loved my spaghetti carbonara. My husband ordered the risotto and we didn’t care for it but I think that is more of a personal preference for the dish itself. Great location for dining and people watching. Overall, we were very happy with our meals and the service.

Average food, bland taste and boring. Carbonara was one of the worst I’ve tried ever, no flavour and poor meat, salad was underwhelming, tiramisu recipe was not traditional, bread was simple. Only meal I can recommend is the red shrimps, they were very good Service was slow. Very difficult to get the waiter’s attention but when you do get it then they are polite, patient and kind to talk to They forgot one of our orders, we ignored it, but still they tried to charge for it. Another order that came to our table was the wrong meal. Waiters and kitchen in a reputable restaurant would never make these mistakes, no matter how busy they are Prices too high At least they resolved the bill to out satisfaction

The food was average at best and honestly not very impressive. Some of the staff members were quite rude, especially the person handling the payment. We asked to split the bill equally, but the final amount charged seemed unfair and higher than it should have been. Overall, the service and overall experience were disappointing.

Unfortunately, the food was below our expectations and we did not find it particularly good. In addition, some of the staff were quite rude. Especially the person handling the bill had a very unpleasant attitude. When we asked to split the bill in half, we were charged extra unfairly based on their own calculation. Keep going unless you're literally starving. The wait for everything was excessively long; people arriving after us received the same dishes as us faster than we did. We spent almost two hours at the table, even though it was supposed to be a quick appetizer and dinner for two. The risotto was at best a children's dish, tasteless and soulless. The fish soup was just okay. The carbonara lacked an ounce of pepper and overall flavor, not to mention the poor drainage of the pasta or another reason why the egg yolk with cheese wasn't creamy but runny. The steak I ordered was supposed to be sirloin, but it arrived as a T-bone, with lots of fat parts. I don't recommend it for that price and that long of a wait.

We had such a wonderful experience at Il Cestino. The seafood dishes were absolutely amazing, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The service was also excellent and made us feel truly welcome throughout the evening. A special thank you to Agostino for recommending the profiteroles dessert. Together with the simple and beautiful birthday surprise, it created such a warm and naturally beautiful moment that made my night truly special. Thank you so much for everything. I was very disappointed with this restaurant. It already started badly when we were charged €20 just for water, which is absolutely unreasonable. Unfortunately, the food was even worse — very poor in taste, bland, and clearly not worth the high prices. Overall, the quality and service did not match the cost at all. I definitely won’t be coming back and cannot recommend this place.

Tourist trap indeed.. the service was ok but the food was just not good enough for the price. Not seasoned at all, went for the pizza because it seemed like a save option according to the reviews. Unfortunately, this also was just too dry and tasteless.. tasted more like a pizza from the airport or even worse. I don’t understand people who gave this place 4+ stars. I think those people have never been in a real Italian restaurant. We we’re stupid enough to pay for an antipasti starter (please never do so when in Italy, not worth it). It was the most expensive thing on the bill, € 21 for some burrata and a few slices of prosciutto. Even the pizza’s are cheaper. This is just ridiculous and insane. So very disappointed this was our last meal in Italy.

I understand that dealing with tourists every day can be tiring, especially when there is a language barrier. But the attitude we experienced felt dismissive and uncomfortable rather than welcoming. We were trying our best to communicate politely, yet we felt judged and stressed during the whole dinner. Unfortunately, the food also did not make up for the experience. The carbonara was quite disappointing and honestly nowhere near as good as we expected, especially in Italy. What made it even more upsetting for me was that it was my birthday, and I really didn’t expect to leave the restaurant feeling embarrassed and anxious. One particular waiter made the atmosphere especially unpleasant. Sadly, this experience completely ruined what was supposed to be a nice evening.

Very poor service. The waiters were extremely rude, and the food was nothing special. They charged us for one power bank at an unreasonable price, and when we noticed and complained, they simply ignored us. To make matters worse, while we were paying, the staff hit us with a table they were carrying outside for other guests, and we didn’t even get an apology. Definitely avoid this place — there are plenty of much better restaurants where you can get better food and far superior service for your money.

The Ossobuco here is absolutely delicious—perfectly tender meat that melts off the bone, rich flavorful sauce, and a nice fresh touch on top. Simple, comforting, and done really well. This is a tourist trap! Read all reviews. Tourists beware!!!!! I am extremely disappointed in the “utube” influencer MW. He highly recommended this restaurant. From now on, I’m taking all influencers and reviews with a grain of salt. Our kids had the carbonara and had food poisoning…vomiting, Fever and extreme stomach ache. Looking at other reviews, many people had the same experience. ( hind sight is 20-20!). The rice and spaghetti not fully cooked. Crunchy and not clear on inside, not edible. The cutlet was extremely dry, hard and bland. It was also raw after being deep fried to make it so dry. See picture. It is very difficult to cook any deep fried dish as such. I’m not a chef and I can do a lot better. The server was very friendly at the beginning…excited that we were from the states. I assume Americans are suckers and good tippers. After we mentioned a few of the above his face and attitude changed 180. Extreme caution! Beware of this restaurant and the influencer!!!

Zona esclusiva , locale esterno molto capiente , vedere ventilatori appesi con fascette in locali così non è certamente apprezzabile. Lo spazio tra i tavoli è oggettivamente troppo limitato . Molto/troppo turistico . Filetto freddo, pizza non è sicuramente il loro forte , cotoletta milanese da 30 euro oggettivamente non di livello. Probabilmente era venerdì ,molta gente e non è stata la Loro serata fortunata molto ben pagata...

Attention attrape touriste… Cela n’enlève en rien au cadre très bien. La pizza était correct et les pâtes étaient bonnes. Mais malheureusement le service est là pour vous facturer le maximum possible, plutôt que pour vous faire vivre une expérience agréable : Vous arrivez, et avant qu’on vous ai distribué les menus, on vous propose de l’eau, vous dites oui, et donc on vous apporte la bouteille d’eau la plus cher à 5€. Vous demandez à changer pour la bouteille à 3€, mais le serveur fait semblant de ne pas comprendre. Les « couverts » sont facturés 2x 3.5€. Et puis le serveur vous dira au moment de payer « attention mon salaire n’est pas compris dans le prix, souhaitez vous inclure le service ? », si vous répondez logiquement « oui », le serveur choisit un montant arbitraire sur le terminal de paiement. En plus de cela, mes pâtes ont été servis 10 minutes avant la pizza de ma copine. Soit je mange avant elle, soit je mange froid… Difficile de recommander à ce prix.

Din punctul meu de vedere nu se comporta asa cum ar trebui cu turiștii. Ne-au așezat la o masa de afara dintr-un colt unde era ud pentru ca plouase. Mâncarea ca si preț a fost medie, dar ca si calitate dezamăgitor. Am mancat o pizza care era mai mult cocă goala. Am așteptat sa vina cineva la noi se ne ia farfuriile si sa putem cere nota cca. 30 de minute. In cele din urma am fost sa plătim la casierie, unde ni s-a spus ca trebuie sa plătim 3.70 euro de fiecare pentru serviciul de "luat masa" lucru care nu a fost specificat sau scris undeva de la început si nici nu cred ca este ceva obișnuit in Milano pentru ca am mai mâncat si in alte locuri si nu s-a pomenit de asa ceva.

Très bon restaurant bien placé dans une rue piétonne au cœur du quartier Brera. Nous avons mangé deux salades bien garnies et plutôt bonnes, ainsi qu’un tiramisu. Les salades étaient à 15€, le couvert pour 2 personnes à 7€, l’eau plate (50cL) à 3€ et le tiramisu à 10€. Le rapport qualité prix est assez élevé, surtout pour les desserts qui ne sont pas non plus exceptionnel. Je recommande tout de même cette bonne adresse où nous avons pu manger en terrasse sans être dérangées par des fumeurs !

Es ist OK, Essen, Getränke war OK. Das Ziel ist es trotzdem, dass schnell ausgetrunken, gegessen wird, und Platz für den Nächsten gemacht wird. Wenn die Getränke / Essen leer ist, wird sofort abgeräumt, und signalisiert, dass man zu bezahlen und aufzustehen hat. Wenn ihr durchgehend bestellt, sagt Keiner was. Wenn ihr in Ruhe essen wollt und eher der Genießer seid, ist es ungeeignet. Wenn ihr nur schnell was essen und aufstehen wollt, ist es geeignet.

Die Tagliatelle alla Bolognese waren gut, aber die Carbonara und die Salate (insbesondere Niçoise/Nizzarda) waren mäßig. Die Essenspreise schienen in Ordnung, aber 5 Euro für das Coperto, 5 Euro für 0,75 Liter Wasser, 4 Euro für einen Espresso und 15 Euro für einen Aperol Spritz waren eindeutig zu viel. Vielleicht haben sie aber auch nur während des Fuori Salone so zugelangt?

Esperienza semplicemente eccezionale! Questo ristorante è stato una vera scoperta e ha superato ogni mia aspettativa. L’atmosfera è elegante ma allo stesso tempo accogliente, perfetta sia per una cena romantica che per una serata tra amici. Il cibo è assolutamente straordinario: ogni piatto è curato nei minimi dettagli, con ingredienti freschissimi e sapori equilibrati che esaltano ogni portata. Il servizio è impeccabile: personale gentilissimo, attento e sempre disponibile. Ottimo anche il rapporto qualità-prezzo, più che giustificato dall’altissimo livello dell’esperienza offerta. Senza dubbio uno dei migliori ristoranti in cui sia mai stato. Tornerò sicuramente e lo consiglio vivamente a chiunque voglia concedersi una serata indimenticabile!

Ero a Brera senza prenotazione e, nonostante fosse pieno, sono riusciti a trovarmi un tavolo all’ultimo momento — già questo dice molto sull’attenzione verso il cliente. Wir haben diesen Ort aufgrund der 4,1 Bewertung gewählt, wurden aber leider enttäuscht. Zunächst mussten wir extrem lange warten, bis überhaupt ein Kellner zu uns kam. Wir haben dreimal nachfragen müssen, wann wir endlich bestellen können – jedes Mal hieß es nur „Arrivo!“. Trotz Hinweis auf Glutenunverträglichkeit kam das glutenfreie Brot erst nach mehrmaligem Nachfragen und insgesamt ca. 20 Minuten – begleitet von genervten Reaktionen des Personals. Beim Hauptgang war es noch schlimmer: Ein Gericht kam nach 10 Minuten, die anderen erst nach 45 Minuten. Die Begründung, glutenfreie Nudeln würden länger kochen, war nicht überzeugend. Der Service war insgesamt unfreundlich, das Essen nur durchschnittlich und die Portionen eher klein. Leider keine Empfehlung.

Abbiamo visitato il locale in occasione di un cofanetto regalo e l’esperienza è stata felice. Il menu proposto era ricco e variegato con tre proposte per ciascuna delle tre portate. La qualità della cucina è stata ottima e le porzioni decisamente generose. Il personale è stato molto disponibile e cortese e l’ambiente veramente piacevole.
