Bello, bello fatto bene come si dice in Toscana. Servizio stupendo, Romano, autentico. Puoi chiacchierare con il personale, godendoti la vita nel quartiere monti. Il cibo ottimo, ho preso porchetta e cicoria, meritava davvero il passaggio. Assolutamente consigliato, e godetevi questo scorcio!

We went there few days ago for a lunch. The ambient was beautiful as was the interior. The service was amazing. Everyone was very nice and pleasant. The food tasted great. The prices are afordable for the portions one gets.

The ravioli was great (think they rotate quite often), bartender was incredibly friendly and entertained us while we waited for a table having drinks inside. Gave us a complimentary shot on our way out. Service was a little slow at times but the whole feel was very homey and authentic

Our server was so rude to us. I was with my parents and we went inside and asked for a table for 3. The server inside told us to sit at the last table at the end outside. Once we sat down, he ignored us, glared at us, and treated us badly. My parents had us leave because of this treatment. I’m really sad that this was our experience because the food looked so good😩😩

El lugar es bonito, pero la chica al hacernos esperar preguntó si dentro o fuera, la persona que iba conmigo indicó indiferencia y yo fui muy clara con un “fuera”, la chica puso cara de molesta y tras apuntárselo nos sentó dentro, ignorando totalmente la petición tras haber esperado. Muy maleducada! Hacía mucho frío por aire acondicionado excesivo. Pagamos la bebida y nos fuimos sin comer.

Loved this place. Found it by exploring the area near my hotel. There was a line outside, which almost stopped me from going in but I waited and instead of going for a table, decided to sit at the bar for a glass of wine. The staff is charming: the man at the door handling all the people waiting, the bartenders, chatting and smiling while working fast, and all the friendly regulars who started talking to me made my experience a true Roman night. I’ll be definitely be back when in Rome!

Fantastyczne miejsce z prawdziwym włoskim klimatem! Już od wejścia czuć świetnią atmosferę i gościnność. Jedzenie było absolutnie przepyszne — przystawki świeże i pełne smaku, a mozzarella dosłownie rozpływała się w ustach. Ravioli i lasagna rewelacyjne, idealnie doprawione i przygotowane z wyczuciem włoskiej kuchni. Na deser tiramisu i panna cotta — oba wybitne, lekkie i perfekcyjnie wykonane. Do tego przemiła, uśmiechnięta obsługa, która sprawia, że człowiek czuje się naprawdę mile widziany. Zdecydowanie jedno z tych miejsc w Rzymie, do których chce się wracać!

Fantastic Experience at Ai Tre Scalini, we were staying in Monti and needed a cool, person centred, relaxing experience after the madness of Fiumicino. Didn't have a long wait, the Camariero was superb,. The food was delicious, the crowd were laid back but very cool, a quick service but not rushed. I'd recommend it to anyone.

This restaurant topped A LOT of lists for great spots for aperitivo in Rome. It is praise well earned, by excellent customer service, good drinks and tasty food. You might imagine that if you're rated high by people, there might be a line. There was. What made the Ai Tre Scalini experience different, and in a good way, was the manager working the door. He was friendly and extremely well organized. Yes, he kept a waiting list, but after he put you on it, he offered to get drinks for each party while they waited. Our wait was 30 minutes. We had several. He moved people on and off the list with patience, empathy and good humor. Once seated we dove right into the wine list, which was promoted as extensive and full of delicious choices. We selected a light, fruity white from a region just north of Rome. We chose three snack to accompany the wine a dish of olives, cured sausage bites and salted toasted almonds. We added a Beef Carpaccio later after seeing one on our neighbor's table. You should do this too.

Ai Tre Scalini is an absolutely amazing restaurant, but be warned: you absolutely need a reservation! If you don't book ahead, there is almost no chance of getting a table. There is always a line out the door (just check the photos!), which really shows how popular it is with both locals and tourists. Despite the crowds, the atmosphere is incredible and the food is well worth the wait. It’s the perfect place for a lively Roman dinner, provided you plan ahead!

5⭐️ Ai Tre Scalini is a fantastic spot and absolutely worth a visit. There’s usually a bit of a line, but it moves fairly quickly — we got in within about 15 minutes. The food was excellent across the board. The lasagna was amazing, rich and perfectly done. I also had the stuffed cabbage, which was beyond delicious — a standout dish. The tiramisu was very good as well and a great way to finish the meal. Service was okay, nothing extraordinary, but the real highlight here is the vibe — lively, cozy, and full of character. Overall, a great experience and one of the better meals we had.

Excellent food, great service. Turned up with no booking, they politely told us we could wait and would be 3rd on the list. They had us sat down in under 10 minutes. The food was superb, service was swift but not pushy, even though they still had people waiting when we left. If they have lemon meringue/pie then order it. The only problem is, you should have tiramisu too.

Wir waren nur auf einen Drink hier, aber auch die Speisen sahen hervorragend aus. Das beste an dieser Bar ist die unglaublich ausgelassene Stimmung, die hier herrscht. Man fühlt sich halt mitten in Rom. Es ist am Wochenende sehr voll, wir bekamen mit Mühe noch einen Platz an der Bar. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, die Location gemütlich und die Preise fair. Jederzeit wieder.

El ambiente es muy lindo pero la atención no fué del todo buena. Los platos no estuvieron muy ricos y poco abundantes. Pagamos 5 euros un pan con oliva que estaba gomoso, parecía viejo y aceitunas 3.50 euros que no estaban buenas y eran muy pocas. Nos cobraron 1.50 euros agua de La canilla!! El baño muy despolijo y ni siquiera tenía tapa para apoyarse el inodoro.

No recomiendo el sitio para nada, la comida no solo es precalentada (al menos te avisan en el menú) si no que está muy mala además porciones muy pequeñas teniendo eso en cuenta el precio me parece excesivo. El pan te lo sacan de un mueble en una bolsita y está chicloso y las olivas malísimas. Nos cobraron 1,5€ por agua DEL GRIFO! Los camareros gritando alrededor. El baño de mujeres estaba asqueroso. Se ve bonito por fuera, pero nada más!

I am so disappointed with my lunch here. I came due to the reviews, needing a bite to tide me through until dinner. The mushroom lasagna was shown as gluten free which was exciting so I switched to that instead of a salad which had been my original plan. It was not highlighted as pre-cooked but arrived only partly cooked through. I sent it back (politely) and although it was definitely warmer when it returned, it clearly wasn’t freshly made. The staff seem nice enough and it’s reasonably priced with a nice vibe. But I can only recommend as a wine bar, not for the food.

The food was genuinely very good — flavorful, well-prepared, and clearly made with care. It’s definitely a place where the kitchen knows what it’s doing, and overall the dining experience could have been excellent. However, what really affected the experience was an interaction with some sort of manager. We were seated outside at small metal tables, and since we were a group of four, we simply joined two small tables (very close to each other, anyway) together — something quite natural in that setting. After we had already done it and settled in, we were approached and told we should have asked first. While I understand that there may be house rules, the situation was already resolved and caused no disruption. Being corrected afterward, in that manner, felt unnecessary and slightly out of place — especially for something so minor and already done. It’s a small detail, but one that impacts the overall atmosphere. With a bit more flexibility and tact in service, the experience would have matched the quality of the food.

Maaaan, this place was so dope. Felt like it was just the one server and the host, but they were putting in that work. Server had to deal with my annoying mother but she handled it incredibly gracefully 😅. Now about the food, My cousin who's live in Italy for over a year said it was the best lasagna she's ever had. You could really taste every ingredient, sauce wasn't too sweet, you can taste the cheese without it being overkill, it was just fantastic. Also had some buffalo mozzarella with truffle hiney that was instantly devoured, and the ricotta/artichoke ravioli with cacio e pepe sauce was divine. All this plus 8£ Negronis, and free limoncello shots? 100/10.(music kinda sucked, corny 90s american mix, but host was vibing hard so that made up for it 😅) Bill was less than 120 and we had 2 appetizers Lasagna Ravioli Pork cutlet thing(also dope) Tiramisu 3 esspresos Bottle of red 1 negroni Insane value

Excellent moment passé en famille dans ce restaurant. Les serveurs sont attentifs à nos besoins et de bon conseil. La carte est courte mais très bonne, on s’est régalés !

음식이나 분위기는 좋은데 식전주로 아메리카노 시켰는데 칵테일 주더니 은근슬쩍 한잔 더 주고 계산할 때 보니까 한 잔당 12유로 씩 받는 건 좀 아쉽네요. 아마 의사소통 문제였을까싶기도 하네요.
