I enjoyed my stay here. 5 nights in August of 2025 in a Female dorm. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great too, I walked to the Trevi every day I was there. About a 12 minute walk. Jo&Joe was perfect for a solo trip I felt safe with well lite entrance, keycard entrance and elevator. I would definitely stay again.

Everything was great. The location of JO&JOE is perfect, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the bar had a great atmosphere. I stayed in a private room, which was comfortable and well maintained. The cleanliness was definitely 10/10. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this place.

Hello, great rooms and beds and lockers Maybe don’t prohibit people from eating food on the terrace, i brought in a pizza and they asked me to go into second floor to eat it instead of fresh air and terrace, so that was very unpleasant And I was sitting on a sponge, staff asked me to give it to them before it started raining so that was awkward too, breakfast very mid tbh not worth it they gave me pizza rounds that were uneatable I almost threw up because it was uncooked

First off this is a hostel, not a hotel. Reception was nice but being an "Americano" they give absolutely zero effort to try and understand you.. like you're supposed to learn Italian before traveling. They also wanted to charge a "luggage storage fee" while we waiting on our check in their courtyard before early check in. Showers are small. Hot water was inconsistent. Hot but then cold every time you shower. We learned they regulate temp in the room and couldn't get it below 23 Celsius...its fine if you open the window but our guest beside us were constantly smoking and the smoke drifted in our room. We were on the 3rd floor Wasn't risking the $100 fine. Breakfast was meh. Its done in 30 minute time slots...said they would make more bacon aka salami but never did. The courtyard is nice but unfortunately they host events every single night open to the public so paying guest really can't enjoy it. Sorry, I dont want to participate in boardgame night. Very loud but stops at midnight. Another thing I found very odd is they "dont allow outside drinks or food" but I heard the front desk telling other guests there was a market across the street. Why recommend if its not allowed?! Maybe just not allowed for "Americanos"...heard that term way too much here. Twin bed room is bare to minimum..beds and a box/closet. No chairs or anything in the room. At least the rooms were clean. No fridge or tvs either. The best thing about this place is the early check in the offer for $10 euros. Reading reviews the owner or whoever in charge seems very aggressive. Rome was meh...tourist trap. This place was very comforting at all. There is also a club attached. Maybe for a single person this is a good place but wasn't relaxing at all. They literally would not let up to my room trying to bring a bottle of wine to my room. Yes, security stopped me...lesson learned here, dont stay at a hostel.

Overall, it was a very good experience. The staff were consistently friendly, approachable, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. The room was as clean as you can reasonably expect in a shared dorm. The only downside was that there was just one toilet in the room, so in the mornings you sometimes had to wait quite a while if someone was taking their time getting ready. There were, however, two showers, which helped. The mattress was a bit on the firm side, but that’s to be expected in a hostel setting, so nothing to complain about. In terms of noise, it was surprisingly well managed. There was music playing in the courtyard, but inside the rooms everyone was respectful and it stayed quiet at night. It was a great first hostel experience, and I would definitely recommend staying here.

The second star is only because the receptionist was nice enough to help me with the luggage, 5 floors stairs since the elevator was not functioning. I asked for a first floor but they said it’s not available. It’s strange that they cannot get the elevator fixed, or at least they should not book for people on the 5th floor!

Upper bunkbed was really uncomfortable, leather(?) matress was too. Wifi didn’t work in our room. I think cleaning should be done twice a day especially in 6-bed shared dorms. Our expectations were higher because of what we saw on social media and Booking.com. Location is really good though, we walked everywhere from the hostel. Also bathroom system was nice not all-in one toilet,shower and sink are seperate.

The hotel has a perfect location. You can easily walk to all the attractions. Very polite staff, always happy to answer your question. There's a washing room, a lobby. We bought the possibility of breakfast on the spot. The food was the same every day, but completely covered the basic needs for every taste. Our room was constantly cleaned and towels were changed. I recommend the hotel, I will definitely stay there

Very good hostel and excellent breakfast buffetwith a good bar and nice places to hang out. I have marked it down to 4* as I thought it was a bit of a rip off that they would try to charge me €12 to store my bags in a locker for 5 hours before check in when I was staying there overnight. I have never had this at a hostel before.

Jo&Joe Roma is a beautiful spot with real promise — superb location (about a 15-minute walk from Termini and opposite a supermarket) and a striking interior that immediately sets a lively, stylish tone. I stayed two nights in April (€121.08 including city taxes) in a female-only room. The space is bright and airy thanks to high ceilings and tall windows overlooking the courtyard; natural light makes the common areas and rooms feel welcoming rather than cramped. Beds are reasonably roomy and the bathroom was generally tidy. The overall atmosphere balances trendy design with a sociable hostel energy. For the price point I expected more consistent practical comforts — for example, rooms weren’t fully made on arrival. A significant downside is the rubberised mattress protector: it’s noisy, causes sheets to slip, and traps sweat, disrupting sleep. As an experienced traveller, I would recommend the hostel switch to fitted sheets designed for rubber covers and provide extra pillows to improve comfort. Overall I would rate it 3/5. Gorgeous décor and a prime location, but a few guest-focused fixes would make this place exceptional.

I stayed for one night in a double room with a terrace at JO&JOE in Rome, and overall I had a great experience. The hostel has a really cool vibe, with large common areas and a beautiful inner courtyard where great to hang out and relax and chat with people. The breakfast was quite good for a hostel — more than enough to start the day. The room itself was very simple, but clean and comfortable, which is exactly what you need for a short stay. What really stood out was the staff — super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, I’m very satisfied and would definitely stay here again.

Jo&Joe Roma was by far my best hostel experience so far in all of my travels! The beds were comfortable and private, and the bathroom was very clean. The included breakfast had a great variety of tasty options, and the ambiance of the place was perfect. I loved spending time in the courtyard by the fountain. It was easy to meet new people but still have a quiet place to sleep at night! The location was also perfect- just a 10-20min walk to all of the major sites!

Beware, this is NOT a hotel despite being listed as a hotel here on Google. We paid 120 euros/night in March and I suppose I was more or less expecting a 2 star hotel experience - not the case. Bar staff was rude upon arrival when I politely asked (in Italian) if it's possible to have a coffee - the woman working there angrily replied that they're closed until 3. We got a coffee in the end from her colleague, but it was not a nice welcome after traveling all day. When checking out, I was shocked that we had to pay 6 euro for a locker to store our bags for a few hours. Maybe acceptable for a hostel, but felt unreasonable when you pay for a private room and could have stayed at a decent hotel for the same price. It was confusing because when we checked in and the room wasn't ready, they stored our bags in the back room for free - why did the rules suddenly change? I will say the beds were comfortable and we slept well. Was hoping for a kettle in the room, but again its a hostel I suppose. The bathroom had a very bad smell from the drain. As a hostel it seemed chic and had nice common areas. But then again it's let down as a hostel by the kitchen which only has a microwave.

It was very clean, I booked a female dormitory where there was a separate bathroom, the bathroom had 3 mirrors + taps, plus there was a mirror in the room, fully equipped. The breakfast was very delicious and plentiful. The accommodation is in the city center, everything is within walking distance.

What a great experience I had staying at Jo&Joe Roma. Spacious room, and bed too. I stayed 4 nights with breakfast in the morning. The breakfast had great options. The staff was really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. It is also so easy to walk everywhere from there too. As a solo traveler I would definitely recommend. They also have different activities some evenings (as well as some mornings). Thank you again. 🌸

One of the best hostels I have been to. Very clean and modern with a big buffet as breakfast. Lots of activities at day and night. The only negative things was the slippery and noisy mattress from everyone. (loud noises during the night and the bedsheet was slipping away constantly)

I enjoyed my time at JO&JOE, the place had a great feel about it, the staff were really nice and helpful. The breakfast was really good, they had a good variety of food to choose from, the dinner was also very nice. It was a little bit pricey for a hostel but then again, it is in the centre of the city. Overall, I had a great time and would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Minha hospedagem no Jo&Joe Roma foi maravilhosa! Ótima localização. Fiquei em um quarto individual e superou todas as minhas expectativas. O hostel é lindamente decorado, com uma vibe jovem, moderna e muito acolhedora. O quarto é extremamente confortável, com cama excelente, lençóis e toalhas de ótima qualidade e tudo impecavelmente limpo. O banheiro tem um bom tamanho e um ponto muito positivo: o ar-condicionado é super fácil de mexer (o que notei ser uma dificuldade em outros hotéis de Roma). A estrutura do lugar é sensacional. Posui lavanderia. O restaurante e bar deles funciona super bem, servindo desde o café da manhã e brunch até almoço e jantar, além de um happy hour animadíssimo com vários drinks. Meu pacote incluía o café da manhã e achei uma delícia: nada como um bom cappuccino, um corneto e um misto quente bem feitinho para começar os longos dias de caminhada pelos monumentos da cidade! O staff merece um elogio à parte: são extremamente solícitos, bem-humorados e nos dão dicas valiosas sobre Roma. Além disso, o hostel organiza diversas atividades diárias para os hóspedes, e é super fácil se inscrever e participar. Seja para relaxar no conforto do quarto ou para socializar, o Jo&Joe é a escolha perfeita. Recomendo de olhos fechados!

L'unica cosa positiva è la posizione. Poi non so come si possano lasciare recensioni positive dove i servizi sono per lo più scadenti e molto costosi. Per non parlare dei letti di plastica , come li chiamano loro eco friendly, che fanno sudare un sacco. Per non parlare dell'aria gelida che caricano tutta la notte facendo gelare il sudore al corpo dopo aver sudato tutta la notte su un letto di plastica. Ho mangiato male e ho dormito peggio. Felice di tornare in un b e b classico e non eco friendly. Disponibile per ulteriori chiarimenti. Non è un posto che consiglio.

Fiquei 3 dias no JO&JOE em Roma e tive uma experiência muito boa. Peguei um quarto compartilhado e fiquei impressionada com a limpeza: tanto o quarto quanto o banheiro estavam sempre muito limpos, o chuveiro era ótimo e tudo funcionava bem. As camas têm cortina, o que dá bastante privacidade e deixa a experiência muito mais confortável. O hostel também é super bonito, animado, acolhedor e com uma atmosfera bem agradável. A localização foi um dos pontos que eu mais gostei. O hostel fica super no centro e muito perto de vários pontos turísticos. Dava cerca de 7 minutos andando até a Fontana di Trevi, e era muito fácil fazer tudo a pé. Isso facilitou demais a locomoção durante a viagem. Os funcionários foram excelentes comigo. Todos falavam várias línguas e, mesmo quando existia alguma limitação no idioma, eles sempre tentavam ajudar e resolver tudo da melhor forma possível. Também gostei da organização em relação ao secador, que funcionava com depósito de segurança e foi tudo bem tranquilo. O cartão do quarto às vezes parava de funcionar e precisei ir até a recepção resolver, mas nada que tenha atrapalhado minha estadia. Me senti segura durante a maior parte do tempo, mesmo ficando em quarto misto. Em um momento específico senti um leve desconforto com outro hóspede, mas não aconteceu absolutamente nada e isso não teve relação com o hostel em si — foi mais uma questão pessoal por eu não ter escolhido um quarto feminino. O hostel também tem serviço de locker, oque ajudou muito quando o check out acabou, é super acessível e bem pratico. No geral, achei a experiência super divertida, confortável e acolhedora. Com certeza voltarei!

시설은 깔끔하나 다신 묵고싶지 않은.. 여성 도미토리 6인베드 룸에서 1박했는데 변기랑 샤워실이 구분된 점, 침대마다 블라인드를 칠 수 있는건 좋았음! 위치도 내쁘지않고 베드버그 안물린것도 럭키. 근데 핸드워시, 바디워시 및 샴푸는 일절 안채워져 있음;; 개인적으로 가져온거 써야했고 불도 계속 꺼져서 암흑속에서 씻거나 샤워하면서 계속 손을 휘저어줘야 불이 켜짐..🤬 이딴게 14만원????? 그냥 한인민박 가세요 제발 짐 맡기는것도 유료!!! 짱비쌈;; 캐리어 6시간에 12유로?? 장난? 그냥 바운스 어플로 근처 짐맡기는 곳에 맡기세요,,

Quando sono entrata la prima volta al Joe&Joe, ho pensato “Questo sì che è un prezioso angolino di pace” in pieno e trafficato centro. Me ne avevano già parlato bene come posto dove fare ottimi aperitivi (confermo), ma io ci sono andata per frequentare i corsi di cucito di Azzurra che, in piena coerenza con l’ambiente e con lo staff, è una ragazza accogliente, disponibile e gentile. La sua competenza e la sua pacatezza mi hanno permesso di approcciare da subito alla macchina con self-confidence, anche se fino al giorno prima non sapevo neanche mettere un bottone. Mi porto a casa ore di spensieratezza e la passione per un nuovo hobby che, senza di lei, non sarebbe stato così accessibile.

Ho scoperto JO&JOE grazie al corso di arte.cucita ed è stata una bellissima sorpresa. Azzurra, l'insegnante, è dolce, simpatica e molto disponibile: riesce a trasmettere passione e creatività in un ambiente amichevole, accogliente e pieno di persone in sintonia. Già delle prime lezioni pratiche ho imparato le basi del cucito e mi sono potuta mettere alla macchina da cucire per realizzare le mie prime creazioni. Consiglio questo corso a chi vuole dare spazio alla propria parte creativa e vivere un’esperienza piacevole e stimolante. Ottime anche le pietanze dell'aperitivo e i drink, in più la location è davvero bellissima. Si respira un’atmosfera serena, una piccola oasi di pace dopo una giornata di lavoro!

La ubicación es inmejorable. El hostel es muy bonito y sus trabajadores muy amables. Está todo muy limpio. ¿Lo malo? En las habitaciones compartidas, las camas de arriba no tienen cortinas y además, el colchón y la almohada son incómodos. No tendría problema con ello si no fuera por el precio, pero bueno, es Roma. Aún así, sí lo recomiendo :)

Ho conosciuto la location grazie ad Azzurra, una insegnante dolce, simpatica ed in gamba che ha scelto questo posto come luogo ideale per organizzare corsi di cucito. Il posto è una vera sorpresa....da un portone come tanti a Roma, si entra nel cortile di un hotel stupendo, curatissimo, molto cool e pieno di giovani che gustano degli ottimi aperitivi, ma la sorpresa ancora più grande è stato il corso di cucito tenuto da Azzurra. Il suo nome suggerisce la delicatezza di una fatina ed è proprio così, perché con il suo aiuto, i suoi consigli e la sua grande competenza ho creato dei piccoli lavoretti magici, pur essendo una principiante. Ed i pomeriggi trascorsi tra fili, forbici, chiacchiere, risate e nuove amicizie......sono volati....e mi dispiace tanto!

Un cadre magnifique !!! L’accueil est chaleureux, le personnel toujours souriant et à l’écoute, disponible. Les chambres individuelles sont simples et spacieuses mais nickel, la literie est top, la salle de bain propre avec l’essentiel disponible. La cour avec sa fontaine invite au repos la journée et se transforme le soir en un lieu pour boire un verre et manger avec la musique en fond. Nous étions 4 avec nos filles jeunes adultes et nous sommes tous sous le charme. Il y a un espace détente avec jeux de société et baby-foot. Le petit-déjeuner est simple mais satisfait tout le monde entre salé et sucré. Bref je recommande à 100%

Minha nota é 4 pelo seguinte motivo, o turista que não fala italiano ou inglês eles não fazem questão de entender ou ajudar no seu idioma, o hotel é bom, o quarto é bom, mais tem duas observações: Havia na central de ar-condicionado roedores que fazia barulho a noite toda. A cama do apto 8 pessoas a parte superior faz muito barulho o tipo de colchão incomoda muito quem tem sensibilidade para dormir.

Tek başına seyahat edenler için daha uygun bir otel. Biz çift olarak geldik kendimize ait oda tuttuk ama verdikleri oda ek binada ve orta avluya bakan odaydı. Aşırı gürültülü hiç uyuyamadık. Sürekli müzik sesleri bizim odadaydı. Ayrıca yataklar aşırı konforsuz bel ağrısı çektik çok. Odalar çok tozlu, düzgün temizlenmiyor. Check in beklerken bavulları koymak için ekstra para istediler. Hiçbir otelde böyle bir şey görmemiştim. Maalesef double room için verdiğimiz ve konfor beklediğimiz bir otele göre fiyat performans açısından hiç memnun kalmayarak ayrıldık. Bizim gibi çift gezen veya ailelere asla önermem.

Das Personal war freundlich und willkommenheißend! Der Innenhof war sehr schön. Leider war das Badezimmer dreckig und es gab weder Seife, noch Shampoo in der Dusche. Nach Anfrage wurde es aber aufgefüllt. Es gab auch einen dreckigen Badezimmervorleger, der voll mit Flecken war und erst nach zwei Tagen ausgetauscht wurde. Ich würde empfehlen die unteren Betten zu nehmen, da die oberen keine Möglichkeit zum Abdunkeln haben und man dadurch jedes Mal aufwacht, wenn jemand in den Raum kommt.

Ми не проживали в даному отелі, а проходячи повз, зайшли пообідати. Не раджу! Хотіли скористатись їхньою системою бізнес - ланчів, а нам порахували по повній. Сказали що в них є пиво ІРА, а принесли якусь бурду. Ціни як для Риму та розміру порцій невиправдано високі.

Wij hadden een privé kamer met eigen sanitair. Het is een basis kamer met stevige bedden en 2 kussens. Uitzicht op de binnenplaats. We waren zeer tevreden over de gezellige sfeer, de ligging (bijna alle toeristische bezienswaardigheden liggen op 20 minuten lopen) en het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk. We miste een koelkastje op de kamer.

Ein sehr cooles Hostel. Tolles Ambiente, schön gestaltete Räume. Mein Zimmer war ruhig aber wie in einem Hostel muss man sich an die Geräusche und unterschiedlichen Schlafenszeiten gewöhnen. Ich hatte Handtücher mitgebracht und ein Schloss für mein Gepäck. Das Schubfach war riesig und mein Handgepäck Trolley plus viel mehr passte hinein. Zimmer war sauber, Dusche und Toilette modern. Das Bett war gut gelöst unten, mit runterfahrbaren Rollo, dadurch viel Privatsphäre. Die Matratze war leider eher hart. Außerdem hat man den Bettnachbarn über mir bei jeder Bewegung extrem laut gehört. Trotz Ohropax quietschte jede Bewegung extrem laut. Das Essen das ich mit gebucht hatte war lecker und unglaublich flexibel von der Zeit. Ich konnte unter verschiedenen Gerichten auswählen und zudem von 12 -22uhr Abends meinen Gutschein einlösen. Frühstück war ausreichend, eher süß aber dass war zu erwarten in Italien. Alle Speisen fand ich hochwertig. Dazu die super zentrale Lage. Trotz weniger Schlaf durch mein über mir, würde ich es empfehlen und wieder kommen. Das Zimmer war an und für sich leise. Weder den Hof noch die Zimmernachbarn zu hören.

Superbe dortoir ! L’emplacement est idéal, Le personnel est accueillant, les espaces extérieurs sont top pour se poser et boire un verre. En ce qui concerne ma chambre de 4, Tout était propre et relativement confortable. La salle de bain et les sanitaires étaient nettoyés quotidiennement. Au niveau des lits, il y a des rideaux de part et d’autres du lit de sorte qu’on peut s’enfermer et bien dormir sans être dérangé par les autres ou la lumière. Il y a pour chaque lit, un grand espace de rangement sous forme de tiroir Qui prend énormément de choses, il faut penser à prendre un cadenas pour son voyage. Je déplore simplement le fait qu’on m’ai mise dans une chambre de 4 avec 3 garçons… Heureusement que c’était de bons garçons !

J’ai passé un bon sejour en dortoir de 4, c’etait calme, moderne, confortable, avec suffisamment d’espace dans le dortoir. Personnel agréable, toujours de bons conseils… le petit déjeuner etait bon, les animations sur place ont l’air sympa. La cour interieure est très sympa, l’hotel est plutôt calme à mon gout. Je recommande une arrivée dans cet établissement, que l’on soit seul ou à plusieurs, l’hôtel rst proche du metro, de la Gare Termini, et pas trop loin à pieds des ruines romaines.

我每年住100天飯店，持續十多年，這間說不定是裡面最差的。後來我才明白為什麼這間旅館評分那麼高，原來是因為他們同時有在經營宿舍房，所以有大量旅客給予好評。但若仔細看評價，訂正常旅館房的人通常不是很滿意，我也不明白這種品質的旅館怎麼會屬於雅高集團。 列舉幾個點： 房間沒有冰箱、熱水壺、保險箱 沒有大桌也沒有沙發，幾乎沒有地方放東西 浴室的燈是感應的而且在門口，所以旅客註定要在黑暗中洗澡或是上廁所。 淋浴的水很小而且忽冷忽熱 早餐很寒酸，大概就是普通背包客棧等級。而且要拿早餐卡才能吃，不提供報房號的方式。 某些員工對東方人有種族歧視 早上十點就要退房，而且不提供免費寄放行李 奉勸雅高會員們：不遠處就有一間Mercure，真的不用來這間折磨自己。

Ho avuto il piacere di conoscere questo luogo grazie al corso di cucito creativo di Azzurra. Il corso mi ha regalato: nuovi amici, una insegnante fantastica, conoscenza di tessuti e soprattutto la consapevolezza che aprirsi a nuove esperienze è sempre una buona cosa. Joe&Joe è il posto che non ti aspetti. Non solo un semplice hotel ma un luogo che crea connessioni. Ho seguito presso la loro struttura il corso di cucito con Azzurra (base ed avanzato) ed è stata la location perfetta! Staff gentile e anche ottimi aperitivi.

Ho conosciuto l'hotel grazie al Corso di cucito di Azzurra (artecucita). Il posto è veramente molto bello e accogliente, il cortile interno ispira pace e relax... Atmosfera ideale per il corso che è stato molto utile e divertente. Ho imparato a cucire e ad usare autonomamente la macchina da cucire in un clima di collaborazione e complicità. Una bellissima esperienza!
