Ovviamente abbiamo dovuto attendere un po' vista l'altissima affluenza attirata dalla vicina Fontana di Trevi; se si arriva dopo le 8 l'attesa è davvero lunga. Tuttavia, noi siamo arrivati abbastanza presto e in breve tempo ci hanno fatto accomodare. Prodotti francamente non eccezionali tutto sommato buoni, il personale è davvero capace e gentile.

29/05/2026INCIPIT: Profumi, sapori e vita quotidiana in Via delle Muratte DOVE SI TROVA: L' Antico Forno di Fontana di Trevi, lo incontriamo nel centro storico di Roma, nel Rione II (Trevi), a pochi passi dalla Fontana di Trevi. Lungo la stretta e brulicante Via delle Muratte, è un luogo che racchiude due anime della Roma più autentica: un forno storico e un bar di quartiere, uniti sotto la stessa insegna e sotto lo stesso ritmo quotidiano. PILLOLE DI STORIA E ARCHITETTURA: Quando si entra in questo bar, ricorda come erano quelli di una volta. Bicchieri appesi, bottiglie di liquori, tazzine pronte per essere riempite. Un bancone in pietra, pulito ed essenziale. Una vetrina ricca di cornetti, dolci alla crema, pasticceria artigianale, torte al cucchiaio, pistacchio, cioccolato, tiramisù Il personale gentile, pur servendo centinaia di persone al giorno Sono entrato anche nel forno, facendo un piccolo acquisto. Sono rimasto colpito, dai molti prodotti tipici italiani esposti in espositori in legno o appesi. Per citarne alcuni: prosciutti, salami artigianali come Strolghino e Felino, pecorino romano DOP, parmigiano 24 mesi, porchetta di Ariccia, ecc. CURIOSITÀ: LO SAI CHE…? La zona è stata spesso set cinematografico, l’esempio più famoso è la “Dolce Vita”, perché la Fontana di Trevi è un’icona mondiale. UN’ESPERIENZA PERSONALE: Passando in questa storica attività, ho sentito l’aroma del pane e l’aroma dii caffè, accompagnato dalle voci e dai colori dei molti turisti che attraversavano questa strada e si fermavano per una sosta, anche all’esterno. La mattina presto, mi sono fermato a tavolini fuori e ho fatto un’ottima colazione, in un luogo che sembra sospeso nel tempo. Chi lo scopre ne rimane affascinato, è un invito a rallentare, osservare e vivere la storia di questo rione. Le fotografie che ho scattato sono testimonianze che raccontano tutto questo meglio di qualsiasi parola. CONCLUDENDO: L’Antico Forno e il Bar di Fontana di Trevi non sono semplici esercizi commerciali, ma sono frammenti di Roma viva, quella che profuma di pane, di caffè, di dolci appena sfornati, di birre fresche prese al volo e voci che si intrecciano in mille lingue. Se questo luogo ti ha incuriosito, lascia che Roma continui a sorprenderti, perché non smette mai di rivelare nuovi angoli di bellezza. 12/05/2026Non è un posto economico ma posso dire di aver mangiato il miglior cornetto al pistacchio della mia vita! Ottima anche la classica pizza romana! Il problema se così si vuol chiamare è la.grande calca che si crea in quella zona, ma siamo comunque accanto alla fontana di Trevi! Consigliato!

04/05/2026Volevo far provare la pizza ripiena ad alcuni amici che venivano da fuori Roma…mai più, mi sono vergognata per loro! Cibo gradevole, pulizia e cortesia non sanno neanche cosa sia! Dopo aver visto le condizioni dei banconi della salumeria, della pizza e del bar non credo di tornarci e di riportarci qualcuno!!! La loro unica fortuna è quella di trovarsi davanti Fontana di Trevi!!!

Ce n'era poco, ma se fosse stato di più probabilmente mi avrebbe dato la nausea. Prezzo: 3€." Overrated "Had the pistachio croissant. Far from being 'the best croissant I've ever had.' The filling tastes like Nutella, just green. There wasn't much filling, but honestly, if there had been more, I probably would’ve felt sick. 3 euros."

14/06/2026We decided to try this place because it came highly recommended. We ordered the cannoli, pistachio croissant, and tiramisu. The cannoli and tiramisu were decent, but overall I found them fairly average. As for the pistachio croissant, I felt it didn’t have enough cream filling. It was tasty, but we’ve had much better versions elsewhere in Italy. Overall, it was a good experience, but it didn’t quite live up to the hype for me.

12/06/2026밑에 간간히 인종차별한다는 말 써있는데 좋은 리뷰가 다수라 믿고 들어갔는데 진짜 있네요ㅎ 주문 잘했고, 영수증에 내가 주문한 음료도 적혀있는데 안에 직원들 다 돌아가면서 나와서 무슨 음료인지 테이크아웃인지 계속 물어봐요ㅎ 내가 주문한 음료랑 메뉴판 가격이 달라서 왜 다르냐했더니 테이크아웃은 더 비싸게 받는다길래 그런가보다 했는데, 걍 내가 주문한 것보다 비싼 아무 커피메뉴 넣어서 이 사단이 난 것같아요. 커피는 커피인지 보리차인지 잘 모르겠더라구요....^^ 만드는데 10초도 안걸리는거 15분 넘게 붙들어서 다음투어 지각할뻔했어요ㅎ

05/06/2026Vi várias avaliações negativas sobre o atendimento antes de ir, mas minha experiência foi totalmente diferente. Os atendentes foram extremamente gentis, simpáticos e acolhedores comigo. Mesmo com possíveis limitações no idioma, eles explicaram tudo com muita paciência e fizeram questão de ajudar. Pedi um sanduíche/panini que eles esquentam na hora, e sinceramente foi uma das coisas mais gostosas que eu já comi na vida. Estava simplesmente perfeito. Além de delicioso, foi super rápido para preparar e o preço era muito acessível, principalmente considerando a localização, bem em frente à Fontana di Trevi. Achei a experiência ótima do começo ao fim e com certeza voltaria. Recomendo muito!

03/06/2026The pistachio filling was absolutely delicious. However, the croissant itself wasn't my favorite, and I personally didn't enjoy the sugar coating on top. The cappuccino was really good, and the atmosphere was wonderful. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I'd be happy to come back and try something different next time

31/05/2026Highly recommended!!! Tried cappuccino, pistachio cornetto and maritozzo! It was delicious and we got a table with a view on the trevi fountain by chance! Pay attention, there are the forno where you buy what you need (bakeries, cheese etc...) and the caffè where you can sit and order what you want ; but you have to wait in a line to get a table. I think if you go early you don't wait for so long.

27/05/2026Geralmente em frente aos grandes pontos turísticos não temos boas opções gastronômicas, mas isso não se aplica a este lugar. Já comi tantas vezes aí, 2018, 2024… pizza al taglio , cornetto… tudo sempre maravilhoso. Recomendo pedir para esquentar a pizza e comer em frente à Fontana de trevi.

Unfortunately if you want to drink coffee you have to wait in a very long line because the waiters seat you at the table but the organization leaves a lot to be desired. It should be noted that at Forno you can take away or buy it to go while at the cafe next door (which is also theirs) you can eat there. The tables are full starting 7am

20/05/2026L'Antico Forno Di Fontana Di Trevi Trevi Çeşmesi yakınında yer alan bu fırında genel olarak güzel bir deneyim yaşadık. Özellikle kruvasanları gerçekten çok iyiydi, taze ve lezzetliydi. Antep fıstıklı ve karamel dolgulu kruvasanları denedik, ikisi de oldukça başarılıydı ve çok beğendik. Çikolatalı olan biraz beklentimizin altında kaldı, tadı bize biraz daha zayıf geldi ama bu belki o güne özel bir durum olabilir. Genel olarak bakınca olumlu bir deneyimdi ve tekrar gidilebilecek bir yer olarak düşünüyorum. -------------------------------- L'Antico Forno Di Fontana Di Trevi We had a generally good experience at this bakery located near the Trevi Fountain. The croissants were especially very good—fresh and delicious. We tried the pistachio and caramel croissants, and both were really enjoyable and well-made. The chocolate one was a bit disappointing for us, the taste felt slightly weak, but maybe it was just a one-time experience. Overall, it was a positive visit and a place we would consider going back to again.

19/05/2026Nas duas vezes que fomos neste local os atendentes foram extremamente mal educados e sem paciente. Entendo que o local é caótico por ser ao lado da Fontana, mas os atendentes precisam entender que o atendimento precisa ser mais cortes, mesmo que odeiem os turistas.

15/05/2026Pedimos el croissant de pistacho y el de chocolate. La masa una auténtica decepción, la crema se salva. No entiendo como puede tener tan buena reputación. No recomiendo que lo prueben. Si buscan un poco van a encontrar croissants realmente buenos por la zona de Trastevere.

14/05/2026Delish croissants from here - i had a chocolate one (nutella) friend had the pistachio one and we both loved them. They had loads of filling and great location and great price €2.50. Super busy in there though and staff not overly friendly but it’s fair enough!

04/05/2026It's ok. 3 stars is a bit generous. There is a line outside to dine in which is understandable, it's very close to the trevi fountain. All the staff members except one looked quite miserable, this is not how you should conduct yourself in hospitality. We ordered 4 cappuccinos and 4 pastries. Prices were tourist trap, you can find the same for much cheaper elsewhere. I don't really know how it can take 20 minutes after ordering to plate 4 pastries and make 4 cappuccinos. The coffee was decent and the pastries were nice. Overall, quite average and nothing special.

01/05/2026Honestly this was one of the few places in Rome that disappointed me. The place was extremely crowded and we waited around 30 minutes just for a simple order. The cappuccino was very average and nothing memorable. The brioche was too flaky and messy and not enjoyable to eat. I do not think it was worth the wait at all, and personally I would rather spend my time trying another café nearby.

30/04/20264⭐️ L'Antico Forno di Fontana di Trevi is extremely busy — no surprise given its location right by the Trevi Fountain. If you’re planning to sit down and enjoy a coffee with the view, be ready for a long wait. The pastries are okay — not bad by any means, but they lean more on the soft side rather than being light and flaky. The coffee is decent, does the job, but nothing particularly memorable. Overall, it’s more about the location and atmosphere than the food itself. Nice for a quick stop, but not a destination spot for pastries.

30/04/2026Be careful and check your receipt. I was charged double for a maritozzo, with the price manually entered. It didn’t feel like a simple mistake. Another employee fixed it, but still disappointing

28/04/2026Επισκεφτήκαμε τον φούρνο λόγω της μεγάλης προβολής αλλά τελικά απογοητευτήκαμε! Ενώ έχει αρκετά τραπέζια άδεια σε κρατούν σε μια ουρά χωρίς λόγο! Τα κρουασάν αρκετά μέτρια! Αλλού βρίσκεις πολύ καλύτερα και φυσικά με καλύτερη εξυπηρέτηση!

27/04/2026Es un lugar que se ha vuelto muy popular en TikTok y redes sociales, probablemente también por su excelente ubicación cerca de puntos importantes de Roma. Sin embargo, en nuestra experiencia, sentimos que la fama que tiene supera un poco lo que realmente ofrece. La comida no estuvo mal, pero tampoco tuvo ese sabor memorable o la experiencia que uno esperaría después de ver tantas reseñas y videos. En Roma hay muchos otros lugares menos conocidos que nos parecieron mejores y más auténticos. No es una mala opción para probar si estás cerca, pero personalmente no fue un sitio que nos dejara una impresión inolvidable.

27/04/2026Bought pastries here. Low variety. They also sell cold cuts. Chaos in absolute term. Local people keep cutting in front of you at the cashier. Frustrating to say the least.

24/04/2026Цей відгук відноситься до бару, який є частиною пекарні. Замовили тірамісу і коктейль з лімончело. Тірамісу дуже смачний. Офіціант знав достатньо добре російську, саме місце не велике, не дуже атмосферне, але достатньо для того щоб перепочити і насолодитись дисертами.

24/04/2026The croissants and coffee are okay, but not as good as in cafes in non-touristy areas. The price is too high for the quality (at least twice as much). The atmosphere is rather chaotic; I wouldn't really recommend it.

23/04/2026We were waiting for 20 minutes to sit and order, we had no problem with it! But 2 tables were empty while there was a lot of line. People whitout making the cue just sitted down in them to eat food from another place (they were eating from a focaccia place). I tried to explain it to the workers to help them to maintain the cue order, and they were VERY RUDE! Especially the one inside in the cashier. He was rude and disgusting. If they don't want to work with people and in a touristic zone, just quit your job! You need a lesson to learn how to treat costumers! We came here everytime we are in Rome, today we left because they were talking to us in a very bad way, so we are never going to come again! That's a shame. There are a lot of places to eat a good pistacchio croissant in Rome!

20/04/2026Fuimos dos días diferentes. El primero, a tomar un café y, no sé si fue mala suerte o qué, pero nos echaron básicamente todo el poso del café y no los pudimos ni tomar, además de que la atención es bastante lenta. Me da mucha rabia porque, el segundo día, fuimos a desayunar y pedimos un croissant de pistacho, uno de de Nutella, un capuchino y un zumo natural y todo estaba espectacular, además de que la ubicación junto a la Fontana es increíble.
