13/01/2026Devo dire che all’inizio l’impatto non è stato positivo in quanto mi avevano assegnato una camera che si trova in un altro edificio, a qualche minuto a piedi dall’edificio principale dell’hotel, e questa camera non rispecchiava affatto le caratteristiche delle immagini delle camere illustrate sul sito.. nemmeno lontanamente simile! É stata una spiacevole sorpresa ma lascio una recensione positiva per la prontezza e disponibilità del personale della reception nel soddisfare la mia richiesta di essere trasferita in una camera migliore e che si trovasse nell’edificio principale.

27/12/2025L 'Hotel ha una posizione buona ,in pochi minuti si raggiungono alcuni monumenti è quasi al centro .sinceramente sono rimasto molto soddisfatto ,la colazione è abbondante, molto pulito ,lo staff é tutto giovane i ragazzi sono molto gentili sia alla reception , addetti alle pulizie e al piano colazione . Le camere pulite .Consigliato vivament.

30/06/2025500€ due notti senza colazione,arrivate in albergo io e la mia bambina(11anni)non siamo state nemmeno salutate, ii ragazzi dalla reception parlavano tra di loro senza neanche guardarci,dopo un po’ ci salutano finalmente 😂facciamo il pagamento poi ci porta in camera,adesso inizia il bello 😂,la camera non è come nelle foto è molto vecchia poi abbiamo avuto una bella compagnia per tutto il soggiorno insetti ovunque 🙈,mia figlia aveva paura di fare la doccia 😂,la pulizia era fata molto bene peccato che nn so da dove uscivano queste bestie disgustose,il pavimento in bagno era in condizioni pessime,asciuga capelli non funzionava 😂,sinceramente non merita quei soldi neanche per sogno.Se devo fare una nota positiva faccio i miei complimenti ai ragazzi che portano in camera sono molto gentili e disponibili e la posizione del resto senza parole…

23/06/2025Pessima accoglienza abbiamo chiamato per fare la prenotazione sul luogo e ci è stato detto che si poteva fare senza alcun problema dopo aver fatto 30 km per raggiungere la destinazione sul posto la stessa persona alla reception ci ha detto che non era più possibile accedere la posizione molto scomoda nonostante su via del corso non hanno parcheggio di alcun tipo né convenzioni ne sapevano dove indicarci un luogo

They went above and beyond to assist us and solved every issue or request we had quickly and professionally. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their guests made our stay even more enjoyable and relaxing. We truly felt valued and well taken care of throughout our visit. Thank you to the entire team for making our experience so special. We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful stay.

09/06/2026היינו לפני שבוע עם 3 ילדים הגענו ב 10 בלילה עם מזוודות לקבלה צפופה ואז לקחו אותנו ברגל במשך 10 דקות עם תינוקות למלון אחר שלהם כשהגענו קיבלנו הלם היתה מעלית קטנה יכלו להכנס רק 2 אנשים שמו אותנו בחדרים מול החדר אוכל כך שב6 בבוקר רק שמענו רעש של צלחות וריח של טיגונים בנוסף אם לא היו סוגרים את דלת המעלית לא היינו יכולים לרדת למטה בנוסף שכחנו בחדר משקפי ראיה שלי וצרור מפתחות כולל מסמכים וגם מטבעות כסף והם טוענים שהם לא מוצאים

07/06/2026Great spot for walking around. But that’s the only thing you paid for. The room was redirected to a different building, was damp, windowless, and very small. Also, the pest control wasn't done properly. I encountered several insects in the room.

03/06/2026The rooms are quite different that what you can find in any booking app. Once you get there, they walk you to another building with no elevator and really small rooms. On the positive side, the location is quite good and it allows you to connect with all of the important sites in Rome.

01/06/2026Não recomendo este hotel. Reservei o Hotel 55 Fifty-Five, mas ao chegar fui acomodada em outro hotel, o Hotel Frattina, sem ter sido avisada previamente. Não recebi a hospedagem que reservei. O hotel anunciado informava elevador, porém a acomodação disponibilizada ficava no 3º andar sem elevador. Também não havia recepção no local e a acústica era muito ruim, sendo possível ouvir claramente os hóspedes dos quartos vizinhos. Além disso, ficamos um dia inteiro sem água. No dia seguinte, a pressão da água continuava extremamente baixa, dificultando até mesmo tomar banho. Ao relatar o problema, o funcionário do hotel foi bem grosseiro. Paguei por um hotel 4 estrelas e recebi uma experiência muito inferior ao que foi anunciado.

30/05/2026Zimmer dieses Hotels sind auf mehrere Gebäude verteilt. Wir waren in der Via belsiana untergebracht (2 Gehminuten zur Rezeption) Sehr schöne, aber kleine Zimmer. Zimmer sind relativ neu und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Kühlschrank, WLAN, Aircondition, Föhn. Kein Fahrstuhl !!! Alles sehr sauber. Lage super zentral. Zum Trevi Brunnen, spanische Treppe 5-10 Minuten. Zum Vatican und Colloseum 20-30 Minuten zu Fuß. Viele Restaurants und Geschäfte.Taxis in der Nähe. Kleiner Supermarkt in der Nähe.

26/05/2026Alles in allem recht schön. Zimmer groß mit Kaffeemaschine. Frühstück könnte bisschen umfangreicher sein. Wenig frische Wurst und Käse. Dafür mehr Kuchen und donuts. Lage war wegen der nächtlichen Abholung von Papier und Müll bis 3 Uhr ein weig zu laut. Also Fenster zu Und Klimaanlage an dann ging es.

24/05/2026There is no Air conditioning, I had to change room because it was really hot, and the other one was the same. I had to pay 200 € extra to be located in the main building, because they wanted to locate me on an annex building which would have been worse than the main building. On top of that , you can hear the steps of people in the room above!!! Really difficult to get some sleep. The elevator is really small, me and my wife barely fit with the luggage, I would not recommend to book this hotel. I will never go back there.

22/05/2026I stayed at this hotel recently and had a very disappointing experience. The room was in unacceptable condition from the moment I arrived. There was blood on the inside pillows, chipped and peeling paint falling from the ceiling, ripped towels, damaged flooring in the bathroom, and a broken glass shelf in the shower, floor towels we ripped as you can see in the pictureOverall, the room appeared poorly maintained and unsanitary. The elevator situation was also extremely frustrating. There is only one elevator for the property, and staff frequently used it, causing wait times of up to 20 minutes just to go up or down. I spoke with the front desk twice about these issues and asked to speak with the manager, but I was told she would not be available until the following day — which happened to be the day I was checking out. None of the concerns were properly addressed during my stay. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.

19/05/2026Fint rom som har ingenting med hotell å gjøre, ligger et anneks som de kaller det fem minutters gange unna selve hotellet. Det er ingen resepsjon her men det er god mat i frokostsalen Heisen er elendig og personalet sperrer heisen for å bruke den til å flytte vaske traller mellom etasjene om kvelden. Når man bor i femte etasje og har kneproblemer, så er det et problem.

02/05/2026Although there were a few staff memers who could have been a bit more professional, we still found the service top. The hotel room, which we rented, above the standard size, in our opinion was a bit too small. There was really no place in the bathroom to place our shower and cosmetics supplies. The location is outstanding and really near to several nice resturaunts and shopping locations. Also maybe 1.5 kilometer from the Coliseum.

29/04/2026It’s very basic, economy everything. Starting from furnitures and worn carpets snd not comfortable beds to not fresh greens on very basic breakfast. It’s not 4 stars. It has to be 2 or maximum 3. Low standards of the furniture and furnitures. Location and staff/team work is good, thecrest is cheap snd on the level of 2 stars.

19/04/2026J'ai choisi cet Hôtel 55 à Rome pour fêter mon anniversaire, car 61 ans, important dans la vie. L'emplacement est fabuleux ; mon mari et moi, avons pu tout faire à pieds. Cependant les murs, le plafond sont SUPERS mal isolés et on entendait TOUT TOUT et TOUT, en fait, j'ai passé 4 nuits avec les voisins et impossible de fermer l'oeil de la nuit. Pour la télévision, il n' y a aucune chaîne internationale et pas de musique. En fait, la TV est inexistante. Pour un quatres étoiles, on a même pas de boîte de mouchoirs et les chaussons, je n'ose même pas demander un peignoir et surtout, on m'annonce quartes étoiles et un certain PRIX. Le matériel de douche laisse à désirer et la salle de douche est exigue, vétuste et les robinets sont tâchetés et de très mauvaises qualité. En tout cas dans ma chambre numéro 308 au 3ème étage. Je reviendrais à Rome car c'est une très jolie ville, mais pas dans cet Hôtel 55 de la Via della Vite 13. Le personel est amable et fait son travail.

Petites chambre , pas de vraie clim juste un pauvre ventilo , pas de prise pour charger nos telephones a coté du lit , on nous a refilé une rallonge ( ridicule pour un 4 etoile ). La porte de douche etait cassé. L isolation des chambres etait mauvaise. L evacuation du lavabo etait bouché. On pouvait pas fermer la porte des WC car cassé. Ils survendent les billets pour les monuments a cote comme le colisee , alors que sur place c est 30% moins cher. Absence de manager , ils ont pas vraiment resolu tous les problemes , eux meme ne savaient pas quoi repondre. Ils ne parlent pas francais non plus alors que c est marqué que oui. Petit dej bof bof car tous les plates etaient froid meme ceux qui devaient etre chaud comme les oeufs le bacon , les saucisses etc... Bref A fuir !! Ils ont 2 etoiles grand max ... ca vaut pas les 4 etoiles

13/04/2026Si je pouvais mettre zéro je l’aurais fait car ce séjour nous a laissé comme un arrière goût d’arnaques à répétition. La liste des désagréments est très longue (chambre située au 3eme étage): - chambre mal isolée bruyante - absence de prises électriques près du lit - absence de climatisation (or réservation faite pour une chambre climatisée ). Publicité mensongère annonçant l’hôtel comme entièrement climatisé. - manque d’eau chaude le soir (douche froide en avril…) - personnel désagréable et non serviable lorsqu’on a signalé nos ennuis. Ils se sont mis à mentir concernant l’absence de climatisation évoquant des restrictions de l’état (or la réservation a bien été réglée pour une chambre climatisée sans aucun message d’information) - la chambre a été modifiée le 2eme jour pour une chambre climatisée au 1er étage mais cette fois, la porte coulissante des wc restait grande ouverte et l’eau ne s’évacuait pas au niveau du lavabo - on a demandé une couverture supplémentaire qui nous a été jeté en boule sur le lit (voir photo) - A l’accueil,ils nous ont vendu des billets pour la visite du Colisée et des arènes à 92 euros par personne or ces billets ne donnaient pas accès aux arènes et coutaient seulement 55euros sur place. Après notre réclamation, ils nous ont promis un remboursement de la différence en fin de séjour sauf que c’était un nouveau mensonge, le personnel a refusé le remboursement lors du règlement final. Dommage que nous puissions pas ajouter des photos…

10/04/2026Lo catalogan con 5*, pero merece 2* La mayoría de mis reseñas son de 4/5* pero cuando un lugar no cumple con sus expectativas, también hay que decirlo. 25' para el Booking, nos ponen en una habitación que está a 5' andando fuera del Hotel, que no está señalizada como tal, la habitación NO tiene ventanas y el ascensor no funciona, estando en un 5° piso. ¿4 estrellas...?

09/04/2026Disappointing! The only good thing about the hotel is its location. Rooms are sooo basic, no slippers, no sound proofing whatsoever, lobby can barely fit 2 people, extremely small elevator.. towels and cupboards smell horrible . Over rated !

07/04/2026Also ich weiß ja nicht, ob wir im selben Hotel waren wie auf Bild "Inserat" aber das hier war eher eine Mischung aus Baustelle und Zeitreise in die 80er. Die Fotos im Inserat müssen entweder aus einem Paralleluniversum stammen oder mit sehr viel Fantasie entstanden sein. Zimmer? Naja… nennen wir es mal minimalistisch mit Überraschungselementen. (siehe Bilder "Realität 1-3") Service war ungefähr so präsent wie das WLAN – theoretisch vorhanden, praktisch nicht nutzbar. Als Antwort kam nur, dass es sich um Beispielbilder handelt - aber dieses Zimmer so eigentlich gar nicht existiert wie auf den Bildern. Fazit: Wenn man gerne enttäuscht wird, absolut empfehlenswert

03/04/2026Der ideale Ausgangspunkt für fast alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in Rom. Wir waren im Nebengebäude des eigentlichen Hotels, ca. 300 Meter um die Ecke. Kleine aber feine Zimmer mit allem was man braucht und sucht. Sehr sauber und ein schönes Frühstücksbuffet mit nettem Service. Ich kann es nur empfehlen. Der alte Fahrstuhl hat echt Charme.

25/03/2026Man hört von andere Gäste alles, könnte ganze Nacht nicht schlafen. Reserviert hab ich in eine Gebäude, uns würde Aber wo anders hingeschickt wo wir nochmal 5 Minuten hinlaufen mussten. Doppelbett ist überhaupt nicht für 2 Personen geeignet. Dusche auch kaputt. Überhaupt nicht zu empfehlen.

10/03/2026Дыра, а не отель! В холе нет места более чем на 2-3 человек , всё очень мизерное. Цена высокая, номера очень маленькие, неудобные, ванная комната вообще не обсуждается, в ней просто не развернуться! Кровать маленькая, нет ни тапочек, ни воды, зато есть кофе. Четыре звезды? Еле тянет на троечку! В риме есть отели, которые по той же цене намного лучше и удобнее. В общем не рекомендую, если не хотите испортить себе отпуск.

10/03/2026Ich war mit einer Freundin am Wochenende in diesem Hotel und wir waren ehrlich gesagt nicht so zufrieden. Die Wände sind sehr dünn, die Badtüre ging nur sehr schwer zu schließen und zu öffnen und der Boden im Zimmer war wirklich unangenehm und gefährlich. Boden löst sich auf und man muss aufpassen wie man geht. Das Hotel entspricht keiner 4 Sternkategorie und wir können das Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen.

26/02/2026The hotel is in the middle of everything. Close to Spanish stairs, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and so on. Tons of restaurants near by. Fancy shops everywhere. The rooms are nice, modern and clean. It's a small hotel but I can't find anything to complain about. Free breakfast too.

Хотел је веома чист, особље је изузетно љубазно, собарице су изузетно љубазне. Храна је одлична, с обзиром да је у питању хотел са 4 звездице, имају све што је потребно да задовоље своје госте. Mој син је алергичан на глутен и обезбедили су му доручак. Наша соба је имала диван поглед, остављам слике да то потврде. Kupatilo izuzetno cisto, jedan miran i tih hotel, a nalazi se u strogom centru grada Заиста све препоруке за овај преслатки хотел!

06/02/2026Das Hotel hat eine fantastische Lage, fussläufig zu den meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten Roms. 3 U-Bahnstationen vom Bahnhof entfernt oder 30 min zu Fuß. Kleines Boutiquehotel, sehr freundliches Personal. Frühstück war lecker, landestypisch und völlig ausreichend. Einziger Wermutstropfen: der Altbau hat recht dünne Wände und ist etwas hellhörig.

20/01/2026Hotel is great and staff are nice, however when I booked, I booked for a specific room and was not given the exact room I booked (Which was the only one on the photos and the only reason I booked) I actually got a room with a window leading to the shaft rather than a room with the balcony like I originally wanted . When I complained they there is nothing they can do and advised that the next day they will be able to give me the room I booked. (We were only there for 2 nights). I was advised the rooms were the same however when they moved me into the room I was supposed to be in, it was obvious that the rooms were definitely not the same. Although they messed up they did move everything from room to room for me, the rooms were clean and tidy and I can't complain about the rooms itself, it's just not what I had booked. my recommendation would be to ensure they will give you the room you booked.

06/01/2026Booked this for the start of Dec 2025 Location was great as it was on Via del Corso, where all the high street shops were. Reception was located at Hotel 55 but the actual room was on Via del Corso, they escort you there and bring your luggage for you. Rooms were a little dated and could have been a lot cleaner. Service was okay - reception was helpful but wasn’t really friendly, housekeeping cleaned our room everyday but we couldn’t really say no since there wasn’t a “do not disturb” sign available. Advice: ask for a room away from the staff room/ cleaning cupboard as it’s very loud in the morning

25/12/2025I stayed at this hotel from December 11, 2025 for one week with my family, booking three rooms. I’ll start with the positives. The hotel itself is very cute, clean, and in a perfect location for walking everywhere. The breakfast was genuinely delicious, and the bar was great for a drink before or after going out. The bartender was especially kind, and overall the staff was very friendly and welcoming. That said, there are several issues that really impacted our stay and could be improved. The rooms are extremely small and do not accurately reflect the photos online. The beds are very hard — like sleeping on the floor — which caused back pain for several of us, especially after long days of walking. The pillows were also very uncomfortable, feeling more like thin sheets stuffed into pillowcases. There is virtually no space in the room to store luggage or clothing, and no place to sit other than the bed. Additionally, the hallways were constantly crowded with racks of clean and dirty linens throughout the day and even at night. This was unpleasant to see and made it difficult to walk to our rooms, especially while carrying bags. Upon arrival, we were told our rooms were ready early, which we appreciated. However, after we were given our keys and information about the stay, and then unexpectedly mentioned a charge of an additional €12 per person it would be and if we still want it !!! This felt misleading and somewhat scammy, especially since we have traveled to Italy many times and have never experienced this before. While we were given complimentary drinks at the bar afterward, the charge itself should have been clearly disclosed upfront. Lastly, the hotel only accepts the nightly city tax in cash. This was not mentioned on the website or during booking. Fortunately, we were able to obtain cash, but it was inconvenient and should be communicated in advance. Overall, the location, cleanliness, and friendly staff are strong positives, but the room comfort, transparency around fees, and hallway clutter significantly detracted from our experience.

11/12/2025Hat eine Top Lage, wenn man den Trubel der Innenstadt mag. Dadurch ist es aber nicht sehr leise. Auch im Hotel hört man das Wasser durch die Wände rauschen und die Heizung machtbauch so ihre Geräusche. Betten sind gut, Kaffeemaschine und Wasserkocher im Zimmer. Sauberkeit war gut.

09/12/2025I booked this hotel because my mom had stayed here two times before. Then after reading the reviews, I was really worried! However, everything was great! The location cannot be beaten! The staff was very nice, Polite, accommodating and helpful. We stayed for a week in two rooms for business, The rooms were very clean, Wonderful layout, beautiful bathrooms, and the window shutters were very cool and gave us a view of the street with pretty Christmas lights. I always travel with earplugs, anyway, but I did not find it noisy, And the room smelled great. The cleaning team was very nice as well, and I had some expensive items in the room, Nothing was touched or compromised. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends. Oh, and the breakfast was good. They had pastries, Cake, cookies, three different kinds of eggs, bacon, sausages, and then charcuterie. The coffee station was due at yourself from a machine, but that was good too.

When we arrived at the hotel, we changed your reservation because there was availability in the main building, everything was very nice except that the room we stayed in was small, it was within walking distance to everywhere and Transportation was very excellent, the employees were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent.

24/11/2025I don’t normally leave reviews, but I am compelled to after our experience. We had a wonderful experience for three nights. The staff were so helpful and courteous. We arrived and it was raining, so they took us by Golf cart to our rooms around the corner. The stay and breakfast were all we wanted and needed. The location is incredible on the Via Del Corso overlooking a stunning church. The ringing of the bells morning and evening were a treat. Many great restaurants and cafes all around. Supermarket too over the next lane. You are literally 10/15 minutes walk to many of the attractions, and 3 min walk to the Spanish Steps. Please do not be alarmed that your rooms are not in the main Hotel. It’s just around the corner and a better location to shops and restaurants. We were concerned when we found out we were not in the main Hotel, but it worked out much better. It’s not an issue. Again, our final day was raining and they allowed us hang out in the bar and wait for our airport transfer. We also felt very safe in the area. As a local said, it’s all Government offices so it is patrolled by many uniformed and plain clothes police. Overall, a 5 star experience for what we wanted. No frills. Just ideal for our four day trip in Rome. Also, the Hotel is contactable 24 hours a day by someone at reception on WhatsApp text. It is a human and not a bot. It’s a nice touch. Restaurants: Sorbillo Roma (cheap and cheerful and ideal for kids) Antica Enoteca (little bit more expensive but quality food and a stunning restaurant with loads of locals hanging out)

17/11/2025אנחנו אחרי חמישה לילות במלון. ישנו בחדר ״סופריור״ בבניין המרכזי (צריכים לשים לב שבודקים מול המלון מספר פעמים אם מדובר בחדר בבניין המרכזי; יש לא מעט חדרים שנמצאים בבניין צדדי, זה מבנה מיושן יותר של המלון ומי שנמצא שם מדווח ביקורות לא טובות בכלל. הביקורת היא רלוונטית לחדר שלנו שהיה בבניין המרכזי החדרים מעולים! נקיים, אסתטיים, מאובזרים היטב. מיני בר מאובזר (כמובן בתשלום אם רוצים לקחת את מה שיש בו…). יש גם מכונת קפה נספרסו בחדר. ארוחת בוקר בסיסית אך מספקת (ביצים, גבינות, נקניקים, ירקות ומתוקים). יש בר נחמד במלון שפועל החל מאחר הצהריים עד 23:00 בלילה, המחירים לא זולים אבל יכול להוות תחליף נחמד למי שרוצה לשתות משהו ולא לזוז מהמלון. צוות המלון היה אדיב וחייכן, נעימים ומסבירי פנים באופן קבוע! המלון נמצא במיקום מרכזי מאוד (מטרים בודדים מרחוב ויה דל קורסו) אך שקט והרעש בחוץ לא מורגש כלל. מומלץ!

21/10/2025Dit hotel ligt midden in het centrum van Rome, op loopafstand van talloze bezienswaardigheden. Een Uber heb je eigenlijk niet nodig. Wij sliepen in een ander gebouw van het hotel, iets verder van de incheckbalie, maar dat was juist ideaal. We werden er netjes naartoe gebracht en hadden een rustige kamer. Het uitzicht was niet bijzonder, maar dat maakte niets uit, want we waren toch bijna niet op de kamer. De kamer zelf was netjes en comfortabel. Van het ontbijt en diner hebben we geen gebruik gemaakt, want er zijn ontzettend veel leuke restaurantjes op loopafstand. Zeker een aanrader voor een stedentrip naar Rome.

17/10/2025Worst hotel I've stayed at. First in foremost, I was practically eaten alive from bed bugs which the management seemed to not care about at all. Secondly, the walls are paper thin so you can hear the guy snoring 4 rooms over and every conversation in between. The bathroom fan did not work and we had no hot water from the sink. Not to mention, you get led through the city on a 3 minute walk only to be abandoned at the elevator inside the building to find your room. You're given a sheet with the access codes and a phone number for issues. But you can text them using "Whatsapp" which I don't have or intend to get. If you call you just get sent to voicemail. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from this poor excuse for a hotel.

12/10/2025Jättefint hotell med bra läge. Frukosten var bra. De har en väldigt liten hiss vilket gjorde att man tyvärr fick vänta länge på sin tur. Receptionen skulle hjälpa oss boka transfer till hotellet och föreslog själva en tid utifrån när vårt flyg gick, men bokningen var ändå en timme fel vilket vi upptäckte vid utcheckning. De löste det genom att boka en vanlig taxi som dessutom var 20 euro billigare. Om ni ändå ber att de bokar transfer, ta en skriftlig bekräftelse.

09/10/2025מלון מקסים במרכז העניינים, שרות מעולה בעיקר סופני היתה מאוד שירותית סייעה בכל הנדרש והיה כיף לשהות במלון . חדרים נקיים ברמה גבוהה, קומקום בחדר ומכונת נספרסו . המלון ממוקם במרכז כל האטרקציות ברגל בקרבת מקום . הגענו משפחה ונהנינו מאוד גם החדר של 3 אנשים היה גדול ומרווח .

22/09/2025Je suis déçu de mon séjour à l'hôtel fifty-five. L'hôtel possède une annexe à quelques rues. Celle-ci est d'un confort daté, avec des chambres exiguës et des lits de 140. Notre chambre donnait sur une cour et sur le climatiseur du voisin qui semblait beaucoup mieux marcher que le nôtre. Aucune vue vers l'extérieur avec une fenêtre minuscule qui ressemble plus à une meurtrière de château fort. Le petit-déjeuner est plutôt médiocre, avec beaucoup trop de nourriture industrielle et sans saveur. Le seul avantage de l'hôtel est son emplacement, vraiment très central et qui permet de visiter facilement le centre historique à pied. Les prestations offertes me semblent un peu justes pour un 4 étoiles.

18/09/2025The room completely did not match the website photos!! The website presents photos of a modern and well-appointed room, where art and aesthetics are at the center of your concerns. What a disappointment!!! Not all the rooms have been renovated... the bathroom is tiny, not a single piece of furniture to put your things on, almost difficult to enter completely in the bathroom! The room is simple and devoid of any decoration. The building's insulation is poor; we could hear the neighbors and slamming doors. There's a light under the front door of the room, the bed is too small, there's no furniture to put our belongings on in the room, so everything is on the floor. Even the tiles are broken, the Wi-Fi is weak, and the safe was blocked... Now let's talk about the quality of the housekeeping... the dust, the marks on the mirror, and the questionable stains on the ceiling. This is not the image of a hotel that calls itself 4-star.

18/09/2025I can’t fully express how much I enjoyed my stay at this spectacular hotel ❤️. The receptionists were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, making check in smooth and pleasant. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor created a wonderful first impression of the hotel. They were respectful, cooperative, and incredibly kind. Giovanny provided us with all the information we needed about the area with a big heart and a warm smile, while Martina was so sweet, extending our check-out upon request with great courtesy. The location is perfect , right in the heart of the shopping center and surrounded by fancy restaurants. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and wonderfully quiet. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone 👍🏻.

16/09/2025Ein Hotel mitten im Geschehen, das entsprechend etwas lauter ist, aber sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Bett ist äußerst komfortabel, und das Zimmer ist modern und luxuriös eingerichtet. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar, was den Aufenthalt besonders angenehm macht. Insgesamt ein sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel für alle, die zentral wohnen möchten.

14/09/2025Rooms are outdated, and we encountered many problems during our stay like power outages in the morning (someone had to come up and fix a switch inside the room), and the cleaning lady left some things inside the room. Very unfortunate because otherwise the service at reception was kind and helpful, and the location is nice.

El desayuno super flojo super baja calidad, todo industrial ,café de tirador y todos los días lo mismo ( la bollería malísima), en fín es más un tres estrellas . Ahora la ubicación es espectacular , puedes ir andando a todos los sitios

18/08/2025Bon séjour – hôtel central, confortable, mais mal insonorisé Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à l’hôtel 55 Fiftyfive à Rome. L’emplacement est tout simplement parfait : à deux pas de la Piazza di Spagna et idéal pour découvrir la ville à pied. Le personnel est accueillant, professionnel et toujours disponible. La chambre était moderne, bien décorée, propre et très confortable. Petit bémol : l’insonorisation laisse à désirer. Nous avons malheureusement entendu assez distinctement les bruits provenant des chambres voisines, y compris des moments… intimes. Cela peut être gênant selon la sensibilité de chacun. Mis à part ce point, l’hôtel reste une excellente adresse à Rome que je recommande vivement.

06/08/2025Con mi familia sacamos reserva en este hotel, llegamos antes del check in así que nos reciben las maletas y nos dicen que ellos las suben en cuanto la Habitación esté lista. Regresamos a las 6 pm y la sorpresa que nos llevamos cuando nos dicen que nuestro equipaje está ahí y que nos alojamos en otro sitio, muy cerca, así que cogemos nuestro equipaje y salimos a la Calle del corzo a caminar por 6 cuadras hasta un sitio antiguo, llamado La Maison D' Art, sin recepción, donde hay unas “suite” mezcladas con residentes permanentes del edificio. Nos recibe un hall con un tapete sucio y viejo, habitación sin amenities (se supone que es 4 estrellas y el impuesto que pagamos era para un 4 estrellas) un alojamiento que nada que ver con lo que yo reservé y pague el fifty five. Después para salir el ascensor no funcionaba y como no hay recepción te dan un número de WhatsApp para comunicarte y a las 5 am no respondían. Así que bajar 5 pisos con equipaje porque teníamos salida al aeropuerto. Así que si reservan asegúrense que es en el fifty five, y que no te manden a este sitio que está lejos de lo que ofrecen.

03/08/2025The rooms are nice but tiny (but the hotel does not try to hide that on their website). The balcony had a lovely view and the room was clean, modern, and the AC was excellent. Be mindful when booking that they have an annex/overflow building about a 5 minute walk from the actual hotel - this is where I stayed. The only thing to note is that there is someone to help with your bags but only before 11 pm. He took our bags for us and was absolutely lovely. I’d put this at more of a 3.5 star hotel rather than 4 stars due to the annex and lack of amenities, but there’s not an option for this on Google - I’m rounding up rather than down because of the service. Service is solidly 4 to 5 stars and the location is 5 stars. They were also able to accommodate a last minute VERY late checkout of 1 pm which was greatly appreciated. Also: I’ve seen a lot of reviews complaining about the elevator in this building. Folks: it’s just a typical elevator in Europe. It’s small (~2 people or 1 person with luggage), but it works great. And yes, you have to make sure the grate is closed before it can move. It’s simple and straightforward. Ignore elevator complaints. I’d recommend staying here as long as you’re ok with very VERY small rooms! Would definitely stay here again. Value for money is incredible, it’s about half the price of anything I could find in the area and far better than 50% the quality.

29/07/2025We booked three rooms at this hotel for a family vacation in June. For our entire stay, two of the rooms did not have properly working air conditioning. We reached out to the front desk multiple times but nothing was done to fix this issue. I also reached out upon our return to the hotel directly to discuss a resolution and despite several follow ups have not received any substantive response. Unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel.

29/06/2025More Stairs Than Service Our stay at Hotel 55 Annex was completely overshadowed by the situation with the elevator in the annex building. It wasn’t just inconvenient — it was a daily disaster. The elevator is extremely small (think refrigerator-sized) and incredibly outdated. It has a manual inner gate that every single guest must remember to close perfectly for it to work at all. And guess what? They don’t. So every night, like clockwork, we’d come back and find the elevator stuck between floors, completely unusable… because Bob on the 5th floor 🙄 — forgot to shut the gate properly. No elevator meant climbing five steep flights of stairs in 30-degree heat, every single night, with an elderly family member recovering from a broken hip. No apology. No solution. No staff even stationed in the annex to help. We weren’t the only ones — other guests were visibly frustrated too. The annex has no receptionist, no support, and no proper signage to help. It genuinely felt like we were left to fend for ourselves in a building that wasn’t prepared to host people with luggage, injuries, or even basic needs. The location in Rome is great, and some staff in the main building were polite, but none of that can make up for the elevator nightmare we experienced. Until the elevator issue is fixed — either with a modern system or actual staff presence — I strongly do not recommend this hotel, especially for families, elderly travelers, or anyone who values basic accessibility.

On my sixth day, I returned after skipping a few—and to my surprise, Glenn immediately noticed and welcomed me back with such warmth. It’s rare to feel so seen and remembered in a hotel. 22/06/2025I’ll start with the good: amazing location, decent breakfast, the balcony view in our room was great. The bad: we stayed in the annex building which is about a 4-5 min walk from the main building (where breakfast is), we had a few communication issues with the front desk when booking a car, and honestly I just don’t think the value you get is worth the price of this hotel.

14/06/2025Très décevant. La localisation de l'hôtel était parfaire, proche des sites historiques. La chambre et la salle de bain étaient propres et de dimensions convenables. Climatisation inefficace, température extérieure 30/31° toute la durée de notre séjour. Très difficile de rester dans la chambre et les nuits étaient très compliquées. Refus de nous changer de chambre dès lendemain matin de notre arrivée, avec aucune autre solution satisfaisante à nous proposer sauf un climatiseur portatif et un ventilateur inefficaces ! (photo à l'appui) Fenêtre de la chambre donne sur une court fermée, nous n'avons pas vu la lumière du jour pendant toute la durée de notre séjour et ce malgré que nous ayons réservé une chambre premium. Déception totale, cela nous a gâché notre séjour. Pour plus de 300euros par nuit nous nous attendions à un minimum de confort et une climatisation qui marche.

11/02/2023인종차별주의가 강한 호텔이다. 우리는 신혼여행 중 이 호텔을 선택하였다. 호텔에 도착하여 체크인을 하는데 사과도 없이 별관을 안내해주었고, 벨보이를 따라 약 5분간 도보로 이동하였을때 이 곳이 내가 예약한 곳과 다르다는 것을 알았다. 게스트하우스로 보이는 이 숙소는 낡은 엘리베이터와 더러운 숙소였다. 프론트로 다시 찾아가 예약한 곳과는 다르기에 확인을 요청하였지만 돌아오는 대답은 본인은 키를 건네주는 사람일 뿐이기에 아무런 조치를 할 수 없다는 이야기였다. 이후 환불이나 사과도 없다. 덕분에 나는 한 번 뿐인 신혼여행을 망쳤다.
