This is a spot for locals and tourists alike. Popped in and raided the case of lots of traditional Italian pastries and cookies. Friendly, warm help with limited English. Delicious and fresh baked goods at very fair prices. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area!

The marinara and parsley pesto pizza is insane! Best thing we ate on our entire trip to Italy ate it for breakfast two days in a row. Mortadella slice was also fantastic. Best Roman style pizza I’ve ever had, and my friend owns a Roman pizza chain in the states. Cannoli was also fantastic. Really enjoyed the pistachio and chocolate one, cookies were good too highly recommend!

Stumbled upon this cute little restaurant while walking back from the colosseum. It’s very quaint and cool on the inside. Had a margherita pizza and it definitely passed the test. Solid crust, delicious tomato sauce and perfect mozzarella. What made it even special is their pizza chef, he was very friendly and social and we had a lovely conversation as we ate our pizza and cooled down for a bit. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quick bite on your walk. Will try to go back and try their pastas too and other items on their extensive menu

Authentic Italian bakery with a huge selection of pizzas, focaccias, pastries, and much more — including kebabs (also vegetarian options) and pasta dishes. The perfect stop at any time of the day for a quick bite in true Italian/Roman style. Considering the location, the prices are exceptionally fair, especially being only a 5-minute walk from the Colosseum. A special thanks to Donatella for the warm, welcoming, and friendly service. Such a good first meal in Rome. Pizza by the slice with lots of other sweet treats and food choices. We had two slices hand cut by scissors to the size we wanted. Perfect for a quick sit in or takeout. We took ours a short walk towards the Colosseum to a little fountain for the atmosphere highly recommend on the way to the arena!

This is definitely the best bakery in Rome! Antico Forno Serpenti is a gem that you cannot miss. Everything is incredibly fresh, from the crispy pizza bianca to the delicious pastries and traditional breads. The quality is outstanding, and you can really taste the tradition in every bite. I want to be so real because the reviews on this place are incredible. But it was quite meh. I don’t regret going but I wouldn’t go back. One croissant was very over done and so dry. The knotted pistachio one was an absolute brick. So dense it was hard to eat. The service was very standoffish. Pizza was very expensive. And just generally very weird vibes.

This is like a hidden gem that isn’t hidden. We popped in for a slice of pizza and ended up eating full meals. It was great and portably the best value for money food in Rome. Don’t miss it off your trip. The staff are friendly and funny so expect some back and forth. Enjoy it.

We came a long way to get a coffee and maritozzo because it looked good the day before when we went by after closing time, but the coffee is self service which on itself isn’t bad, but the coffee beans are low quality, and above all the cream inside the maritozzo was mixed with low quality whipping cream. Which in my opinion is an absolute crime, and definitely Consumer deception. Disappointing.

This is a very cozy little café that I’ve visited twice, and both times I’ve really enjoyed everything. The staff are extremely friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which makes the experience even more pleasant. The food is delicious—everything I’ve tried so far has been excellent. The food was decent, but the overall experience was very disappointing. The man behind the counter was extremely rude from the start. He asked for my order, then abruptly told me to sit down and wait as if I was inconveniencing him. After sitting for about five minutes, he then shouted across the room asking for my order again, forcing me to get up and repeat myself. The food itself was fine, but the service completely ruined the experience. The attitude was unacceptable and made the whole visit uncomfortable. Honestly, I wish I had just walked out. Update: Following the owner’s response, I’ve noticed they seem to question the validity of multiple negative reviews rather than address the feedback. This is concerning, as my experience was genuine and clearly not an isolated case. I stand by what I said — the food was decent, but the service was rude and made the visit uncomfortable. Dismissing customer experiences instead of improving them says a lot! Update 2: Appreciate the deep dive into my review history - a bit less analysis and a bit more customer service might go a long way. Review stands.

Nel cuore di Riome Monti, per me una delle zone più belle e autentiche di Roma, dove si respira poesia, questo forno offre oltre a prodotti deliziosi (ho fatto il bis di pizza rossa, era doveroso) grande cordialità e autenticità. Vengo da una città egualmente turistica come Venezia, ma dove verso il turista c'è sempre diffidenza e mai cordialità. Qui si viene accolti con il sorriso e la gioia di scambiare quattro chiacchiere come tra amici. Il vero cuore di Roma batte qui.

Très bonne expérience dans cette boulangerie typique italienne. J’ai pris une focaccia jambon-fromage avec une garniture généreuse et vraiment très bonne. J’ai aussi testé un cannoli pistache bien gourmand et généreux, franchement excellent. Le personnel était super sympa et essayait même de parler français. On sentait qu’ils voulaient vraiment que les clients passent un bon moment. Ambiance conviviale et très bon souvenir, je recommande !

Il locale offre una grandissima varietà di pizza a taglio e fritti, ma la vera sorpresa sono stati i pasticciotti dolci: ne ho mangiati due, davvero squisiti! A differenza di altre rosticcerie, qui ci si può accomodare in sedute al coperto molto comode, rendendo la sosta piacevole anche nei weekend quando il posto è molto frequentato. Ideale per una cena informale la sera. Consigliatissimo!
