14/06/2026Locale che del vecchio Ciampino ha solo il nome, trappola per turisti. Noi, romani, siamo entrati per un semplice caffè freddo: il più cattivo, amaro, acido che abbia mai assaggiato. Non l' ho potuto bere. Disordine, poca pulizia né gentilezza al banco e al costo di 2,50€! Lì davanti c'è Teichner, ottimo caffè con crema caffè e cioccolato. Andate lì. Da Ciampini mai più.

25/05/2026Ho trovato un personale estremamente disorganizzato,scortese nei miei confronti e dal mio punto di vista inadeguato al locale nel quale lavorano.Inoltre mi sono reso conto di un aumento generale dei prezzi ingiustificabile essendo un cliente da molti anni. L’unica salvezza la si trova nel gelato,anche se servito sciolto.

27/02/2026La crêpes più brutta della mia vita! Ho pagato 8€ per una crêpes da poter via fatta da qualcuno che probabilmente non l’ha mai fatta in vita sua. Cruda da una parte e bruciata dall’altra, dolcissima e con dello zucchero a velo buttato grumoso e vecchio. Orribile. Servizio, non mi esprimo: “come la vuoi la crêpes?” Io rispondo : “ come si può fare?” E lui mi ha indicato l’impasto.Senza parole.

25/02/2026Io sono una cliente abituale,di solito la domenica o il sabato pomeriggio mi reco in questo bar. Io e una mia amica abbiamo chiesto un tavolo per due e ordinato con il menu caffetteria. Dopo mezz'ora che eravamo sedute il cameriere ci ha chiesto di cambiare tavolo quando quel tavolo c'era stato assegnato proprio da lui appena arrivate,il problema sono stati i modi in cui ci ha detto di cambiare il tavolo e il suo non savoir faire nel gestire la situazione. Successivamente ci ha anche portato il conto che da noi non era stato chiesto. Anche io ho un ristorante di famiglia in una zona turistica e non mi piacerebbe che il mio personale gestisse così le situazioni. Il cameriere deve essere abituato a prevedere le situazioni se quel tavolo serviva per altri ospiti in quanto poteva essere unito ad un altro vista la sua posizione,doveva non essere proposto come tavolo per 2 in precedenza,specialmente nel weekend visto il flusso di clientela. E' importante fra noi ristoratori lasciarci feedback per garantire un servizio sempre più elevato.

07/02/2026Per cominciare, il cameriere ha rovesciato l’aperitivo durante il servizio e non si è nemmeno preso la briga di sostituirlo. Abbiamo ordinato una pizza che era semplicemente immangiabile: davvero pessima, non ordinatela assolutamente. E per finire in bellezza, al momento di pagare mi hanno mandato da un altro cameriere che, facendo il furbo, con dei veri e propri giochi di prestigio mi ha dato deliberatamente il resto sbagliato. Come se non bastasse, non ci hanno nemmeno rilasciato lo scontrino. È una vergogna che trattino i turisti in questo modo. Se sei un turista, evita questo posto: il personale ti ruba in faccia!

02/06/2026Mein Mann und ich haben in Rom viele Empfehlungen bekommen, besonders wenn es um gutes Eis geht, und natürlich haben wir einiges ausprobiert. Trotzdem kommen wir immer wieder ins Ciampini zurück. Für uns schmeckt das Eis hier einfach am besten. Aber auch das Essen, der freundliche Service und die angenehme Atmosphäre überzeugen jedes Mal aufs Neue. Dazu kommt die wunderschöne, elegante Lage, die den Besuch besonders macht. Ein Ort, an den wir immer wieder gerne zurückkehren. Absolute Empfehlung!

Sans collègue qui devaient s’occuper de notre Table n’a pas voulu nous servir, parce qu’il était sans doute pressé de terminer son service. Quand Nous avons protesté Il nous a dit qu’il était tard et qu’il devait terminer de collecter les additions Et tout ça, d’une manière très hautaine. Je déconseille formellement à cause du misérable service.

17/04/2026This restaurant is clearly aimed at tourists. A Spritz costs 15 euros as an aperitivo, and nothing is really served with it. The service is poor: the waiters are older and rarely come to the table. Even when we called them several times, we were simply ignored. There are many much better places nearby with the same prices and far better service. I do not recommend this place.

13/03/2026a really nice coffee shop to start your day of Rome touring, since it has really good coffe, one of the best i have tasted here. The sweets where also good , and the prices as expected. All in all, it is a nice place to sit down and do some people watching , before you head out for your shopping and stuff . It is conveniently located near all the shops ,and some of the main attractions of Rome. One point of notice, if you are late, the place fills up really fast, especially on a nice sunny day, so you might not find somewhere to sit. There are tables inside BUT they are self service, so its mainly Italian style , you know, espresso al banco etch. Recommended , but it s not like a hidden gem or anything, but Italians also seem to prefer it so i guess they know better than me

09/03/2026I didn’t eat at the tables, I just got some gelato from the counter as it was meant to be excellent. I did enjoy the gelato, but sadly the staff weren’t very friendly and certainly didn’t make me feel welcome. There was no smiles or greeting, just frowns and not the best. Nice location and tables outside and busy, just shame the service at the counter was a little sad.

01/02/2026I decided to leave a review because I don’t quite agree with the overall rating. This is actually a very pleasant place, we visited it twice during our stay. The outdoor seating is especially nice: the city noise, the movement around, and the general Roman atmosphere make it a comfortable spot to sit and observe the city. The staff was polite and attentive. The food was really good. We tried both desserts and savory options, including sandwiches and Roman pizza. The menu is clearly tourist oriented, but the quality is solid, portions are fair, and prices are not exaggerated for the location. The coffee was very good, and the Franciacorta was always pleasant choice. Overall, a well-kept and enjoyable place, not meant to be a hidden gem, but a reliable option in the city center.

11/01/2026I was very disappointed with this place. We visited on recommendation and deeply regretted it. It is very touristy spot and I am not afraid to call it tourist trap. Queues are huge, quality is poor, prices are high for what you get and staff is really rude. I would definitely not return.

26/11/2025I think the owner of this shop is very nice because he/she lets deaf person work here. I went to the front desk and said “excuse me” for three times politely. But the lady didn’t even respond once and we even made eye contact and she just ignored me. That also happened to my friend who asked there. So maybe she could hear nothing I guess.

20/11/2025On ne présente plus l’adresse mais j’ai été particulièrement étonné par la mauvaise qualité de service quand je suis venu pour y prendre une glace et un café. Nous avons été placés en terrasse et après le personnel nous a complètement ignoré pendant plus 45min. Nous n’avons même pas eu la carte. 27/10/2025I went here with my two daughters, I asked for a table for three, a man aggressively told a waiter to take us inside. There were empty tables inside but we were put into a back room by ourselves. We immediately felt off and decided to take our custom elsewhere, which then one of the kinder waiters felt ashamed and apologised for the other man’s actions. I don’t recommend coming here if you are a person of colour, Muslim etc

17/10/2025If you want to experience something that feels truly Italian and a bit old-school, Ciampini is a nice place to stop by. The outdoor seating area is charming, but inside it’s self-service — you have to order at the bar. Unfortunately, the lady at the counter was quite unpleasant and had a hard time answering a simple question in English. I ordered a cappuccino, and a maritozzo. The coffee was decent, nothing special but fine. The maritozzo, however, was quite soggy, probably from the day before. I paid €4.50 in total, as it’s cheaper without table service (prices are higher if you sit outside). If you’re just looking to take a nice photo in a typical Italian café, it’s okay — but otherwise, not really a must.

07/10/2025I’m afraid to even type this because I know the weight of these words but … This was the best pizza that I’ve had in Italy. Over the course of a few trips to Italy, I’ve probably had close to 50 pizzas and this one takes the top spot. The biggest difference was the char. The crust and undercarriage was cooked to perfectly. Crispy, light, but pliable and delicious. The sauce and cheese were just as good as any other pizza that I’ve had - fresh and tasty. The diavola had a habanero glaze that provided an extra punch without being too spicy. It was satisfying but not overly filling. Special pie.
