03/06/2026Durante la cena di domenica sera sono stata ospite del locale insieme ad altri tre amici, che hanno poi lasciato recensioni molto positive. Io, purtroppo, mi trovo costretta a lasciare una valutazione meno favorevole per un motivo ben preciso. Lavoro (e ho lavorato per molti anni) nel settore della ristorazione, quindi conosco bene le difficoltà, i ritmi e le pressioni che questo mestiere comporta. Proprio per questo tendo sempre a essere comprensiva e a valutare il lavoro degli altri con equilibrio. Parto dagli aspetti positivi: Matteo è stato impeccabile. Professionale, cordiale, attento e sempre disponibile. È evidente che sappia fare il suo lavoro e che tenga molto alla soddisfazione dei clienti. Un grande complimento va anche alla cucina, che si è dimostrata molto affiatata e organizzata. Quando una brigata lavora bene si percepisce immediatamente, e nel nostro caso tutto è arrivato con i giusti tempi e con un’ottima qualità. Purtroppo non posso dire lo stesso per una ragazza di sala. Fin dal primo momento è apparsa visibilmente infastidita, con un atteggiamento chiuso e poco accogliente, come se l’inizio del servizio fosse un peso. Durante tutta la permanenza al tavolo non abbiamo mai percepito disponibilità o cordialità, ma piuttosto una costante sensazione di fastidio. Da persona che conosce questo mestiere, so bene che possono esserci giornate storte, ma il cliente non dovrebbe mai percepirle. Un sorriso, una parola gentile e un atteggiamento professionale sono parte integrante del servizio tanto quanto il cibo servito. Mi dispiace lasciare una recensione negativa perché il lavoro svolto da Matteo e dalla cucina avrebbe meritato tutt’altro giudizio, ma ritengo corretto essere sincera e segnalare ciò che ha compromesso un’esperienza che, per il resto, sarebbe stata davvero molto positiva.

17/05/2026Ho cenato da in Corso/Via Vigevano a Milano e ne sono uscita davvero entusiasta! Locale super accogliente, atmosfera vivace e curata nei minimi dettagli, perfetta sia per una serata tra amici che per una cena più tranquilla. Le polpette sono semplicemente spettacolari: morbide, saporite e con tantissime varianti originali che conquistano al primo assaggio. Anche i primi e i dolci meritano una menzione speciale, tutto preparato con ingredienti di qualità e grande attenzione ai sapori. Il personale è stato gentilissimo,sorridente e sempre disponibile, facendoci sentire coccolati dall’inizio alla fine. Il responsabile Elio e Matteo super professionale. Servizio veloce, ambiente moderno e posizione perfetta nel cuore dei Navigli. Un posto che riesce davvero a distinguersi a Milano: tornerò sicuramente e lo consiglio a chiunque voglia mangiare bene e passare una bellissima serata! Un caro saluto da Rosa da Brescia

01/05/2026Non è la prima volta che andiamo a cena qui e confermiamo nuovamente 5 stelle meritatissime. Gli spaghetti con le polpette, il 'cavallo di battaglia', sono ottimi. Abbiamo fatto tutti la scarpetta :) Molto buone anche le polpettine come antipasto. Il servizio è attento, gentilissimo. Non avevamo prenotato e Matteo ci ha seguito da vero padrone di casa, rendendo speciale il compleanno del nostro amico. Grazie anche per la candelina sulla polpetta;) Molto consigliato, torneremo ancora sicuramente. Bravi!!

22/04/2026Ristorante situato in zona Darsena, con specialità polpette. Il menù però è molto vario e ci sono anche altri piatti, prezzi nella media. Ci siamo stati per cena ed abbiamo preso vitello tonnato di antipasto, Ecceziunale (4 polpette preparate in 4 modi diversi) ed il roastbeef con crema di rucola e pomodorini secchi, davvero un bel piatto. Inoltre ci è stata offerta una buonissima focaccia con salsa di pomodoro. Contentissimi del servizio di Matteo e Federico, consigliamo assolutamente di andare a mangiare in questo ristorante.

Una stella in questo caso mi sento di darla perché i ragazzi sono stati super carini e hanno provato a metterci una pezza. Vi dico solo che 4 polpette e sono 4 di numero vengono 15 euro, prezzo ovviamente non giustificato dalla qualità.

Inoltre ho assaggiato le loro polpette di ossobuco con riso allo zafferano e devo dire veramente buono. Una ulteriore nota di merito va alla ragazza che ci ha servite, Sara, precisa, attenta e molto cordiale. Consigliatissimo!

The staff was incredible, beginning with Sara and two gentlemen who were both fast and generous with their excellent recommendations. We sat outside, enjoyed the fantastic weather, and had a truly memorable meal. If we are ever back in Milan, we will definitely come again. Thank you to the team for the amazing service and an incredible experience!

The spaghetti meatballs were good, and the food came surprisingly fast — served within 5–10 minutes. We arrived around 7pm and there was no waiting time at all. 01/06/2026If you are visiting Milan or are living there, the Meatball Family is a must try restaurant. The menu is fun with a wide variety of choices. The food is delicious and the staff is fantastic. We ate at the via Piave 13 location. We had 4 adults and 3 children and everyone loved the experience. The serving staff was incredible. Thanks to The Meatball Family for a wonderful time. We will be back.

Neben der super geschmackvollen Pasta mit Fleischbällchen war auch der Caesar Salad überdurchschnittlich gut! Außerdem wurden wir mit einem Fleichbällchen begrüßt und haben Focaccia mit einem Gläschen Tomatensauce gereicht bekommen - beides auf‘s Haus! Fazit: Klare Empfehlung wegen der Geschmackserlebnisse und des super Services!

16/05/2026Fuimos un grupo grande de 12 personas y la experiencia fue genial desde el principio. Pedimos pizza de albóndigas, espaguetis con albóndigas, unas tostadas con tomatitos y acabamos con sorbete, café… y unas nubes irresistibles que nos trajeron y que fueron el toque final perfecto 😂 La comida estaba muy rica, todo con mucho sabor y bien presentado, pero lo que de verdad marcó la diferencia fue el trato. Los camareros fueron súper simpáticos, atentos en todo momento y muy pacientes con nosotros siendo tantos. Da gusto encontrar sitios así donde comes bien y además te hacen sentir cómodo. Sin duda, para repetir 👍

10/05/2026Best meatballs and spaghetti! We had been in Italy for a week and I was not satisfied with some of the pastas and sauces. I was really craving meatballs and we were staying in Navigli in Milan. I searched for a restaurant on google for meatballs close by and found Meatball Family. So glad we ate here cos this is the best restaurant we ate at in Italy. We ordered “sphaghetti meatball” and “Risotto alla Milanese con Polpette di Ossobucco” (Milan risotto with veal meatballs)— Both were delicious!!!! The cherry tomato sauce with the meatballs were the perfect acidity and the spaghetti was cooked perfectly!!! If you are visiting or are in Milan— check out Meatball Family! I want to go back to Milan just to eat here again!!!!

05/05/2026Wij dachten, goede recensies, maar wat viel het eten ons tegen! Smaakloos, niet warm genoeg. Ronduit een aanfluiting, hadden we maar ergens anders gegeten. Voor ons nooit meer naar de Meatball Family. Eten leek wel uit de magnetron te komen. Niet vers. Ah maaltijden smaken beter.

I went for the spaghetti meatballs and it really hit the mark – the meatballs were tender and full of flavour, and the sauce tasted rich and homemade rather than overly heavy. Service was friendly and efficient without feeling rushed. If you’re in the mood for a classic done well, I’d definitely recommend giving the spaghetti meatballs a try.

01/05/2026Schreckliche Erfahrung, Essen von sehr schlechter Qualität 🫠. Wir wurden von dem südamerikanischen Mädchen bedient, das uns wirklich sehr schlecht behandelt hat: unhöflich und wenig freundlich. Die Toiletten waren schmutzig, absolut zum Vergessen. Die Atmosphäre war chili 🌶️

25/04/2026Food was okay, but the service staff were atrocious, brought food to our table that we DIDN'T order twice, charged us for it, slow service, and yes I understand there were lots of customers, but I guess the staff was not used to it or something. I wouldn't recommend at all.
