Piatti ben fatti, ma il conto è una stangata Se cercate un posto in una location strategica per proseguire la serata, La Gioia fa il suo dovere. L’ambiente è piacevole e curato, ma la sensazione netta è quella di trovarsi nel classico locale pensato per i turisti: tutto molto studiato per piacere, ma con un rapporto qualità-prezzo che lascia decisamente perplessi. Il menù: strategia pura Il menù è costruito in modo "ruffiano", puntando dritto a piatti che garantiscono la massima resa con la minima spesa (per loro, ovviamente). Si mangia bene, per carità — abbiamo preso le linguine all’astice e il black cod ed erano entrambi piatti ben eseguiti — ma i prezzi sono fuori scala. 31€ per una cacio e pepe, per dirne una, sono un furto conclamato. Il servizio: un po' troppo "venditore" Il personale è molto attivo, forse troppo. Durante la cena abbiamo percepito una pressione costante nel cercare di spingerci verso i piatti più costosi del menù, una dinamica che rovina un po' il piacere della serata. Note dolenti: vini e prezzi Vini: La carta dei vini punta tutto sui "nomi" blasonati, ma senza offrire quella sostanza o quella ricerca che ti aspetteresti pagando certe cifre. Conto: Preparatevi a un conto "caro come il fuoco" e, a mio avviso, senza alcuna ragione giustificabile dalla qualità complessiva dell'esperienza. In sintesi: Un ristorante con una bella location, perfetto se siete di passaggio e volete stare in un posto carino per poi spostarvi altrove, ma non aspettatevi di uscirne con un buon ricordo del portafogli. La cucina è corretta, ma la sensazione di "trappola" per chi cerca il massimo profitto è onnipresente.

Ambiente perfetto, personale gentilissimo e cibo straordinario. Spesso quando si sceglie un ristorante dal nome così importante si arriva con aspettative molto alte e il rischio di rimanere un po’ delusi è sempre dietro l’angolo. Qui è successo esattamente il contrario, sono rimasto straordinariamente e colpevolmente sorpreso. Dalla prenotazione, durante la quale hanno fatto di tutto per venirci incontro, fino al momento del pagamento, tutto è stato impeccabile. Servizio attento ma mai invadente, atmosfera elegante ma allegra e cucina “semplice” ma di altissimo livello, con materia prima straordinaria. È raro uscire da un ristorante senza riuscire a trovare nemmeno una critica costruttiva da fare. Complimenti a tutto il team, tornerò sicuramente.

Che dire !! Esperienza straordinaria !! Sono un abitue di questo ristorante quando sono a Milano . È il migliore !! Atmosfera elegante , carta dei vini straordinaria , servizio impeccabile . Ci sono stato di sera con mia moglie ed è stata una bomba: l'atmosfera a La Gioia San Marco è stupenda e ti fa sentire subito a tuo agio. La pasta mantecata direttamente nella forma di formaggio è un'esperienza pazzesca, da sola vale la cena. Servizio super attento e zero fuffa, ci tornerò sicuramente! Grazie al Direttore Domenico abbiamo brindato con un vino eccezionale da noi molto apprezzato!!

Ristorante troppo densamente popolato, in alcune zone bisogna mettersi in coda per raggiungere il proprio posto. I prezzi sono decisamente alti (6€ il coperto a persona...), come per esempio 23€ per un semplice carciofo portato come antipasto. In generale il cibo è buono, come anche i dessert, ma non credo, a mio parere, che i prezzi rispecchino la qualità che un cliente (mediamente accorto) potrebbe aspettarsi: in fin dei conti sono piatti che si potrebbero trovare in molti altri ristoranti. Non ho riscontrato quel qualcosa in più che giustifica prezzi così alti.

Esperienza indimenticabile eravamo già stati altre volte e non siamo mai rimasti delusi ma questo volta è stata davvero fantastica… a partire dall accoglienza che gestiscono in maniera molto curata nonostante la grossa affluenza di clienti e poi continua con un servizio professionale e non perdono mai di vista il cliente ottimo cibo e ottimo vino e location fantastica… lo consiglio assolutamente per la cucina italiana raffinata e le materie prime eccellenti…

Tout simplement le meilleur restaurant que j’ai fait lors de mon voyage en Italie. Le lieu est d’abord incroyable, surtout l’intérieur je vous conseille de réserver en intérieur la déco est top. Ils sont spécialisés dans la truffe notamment. Les pâtes à la truffe étaient les meilleures que j’ai mangé de ma vie. La purée à la truffe aussi était dingue, le service est excellent, le serveur coupe la truffe devant toi. Par contre attention cela a un prix. Bref je recommande si vous voulez mettre un peu de budget dans un bon restaurant.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ein absolut unvergesslicher Abend im La Georgia in Mailand! Vom ersten Moment an haben wir uns unglaublich wohlgefühlt. Das Essen war einfach hervorragend, der Wein perfekt und die Shots haben den Abend abgerundet. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Dennis und Sunny - zwei der herzlichsten, aufmerksamsten und sympathischsten Menschen, die wir je in einem Restaurant kennengelernt haben. Ihr habt unseren Abend wirklich zu etwas Besonderem gemacht! Der Service war erstklassig, die Atmosphäre wunderschön und jede Empfehlung, die wir bekommen haben, war ein Volltreffer. Ein besonderes Highlight waren die Trüffel-Rigatoni - einfach unglaublich lecker und definitiv ein Gericht, das man probiert haben muss. Man merkt sofort, mit wie viel Leidenschaft hier gearbeitet wird. Wir würden dieses Restaurant jederzeit weiterempfehlen und kommen definitiv wieder. Für uns wird dieser Ort immer einen besonderen Platz im Herzen haben. Danke für einen wunderschönen Abend – wir lieben La Georgia forever! ❤️🍷✨

We went to this restaurant to celebrate a special ocassion. I made a reservation through their website and they contacted me several times to confirm. Unfortunately we were running a bit late because of the strikes there were no public transportation so we took an Uber. The Uber took over 20 min to arrive where we were and we arrived 30 min late. I did call to let them know about the situation and they seemed nice about it. But when we arrived we got some head to toe looks as I jokingly said that we’re sorry we’re a bit late. The hostesses were just chit chatting at the entrance and unnecessarily gave us weird looks, I find this very unprofessional. We sat down outside right by the door and noticed there was a security guard not allowing bicycles or scooters on the public sidewalk (?) I understand they want to make this place exclusive but he wasn’t very kind to the passerby’s. The restaurant demands you order 1 Antipasti and 1 Primo/1 Secondi, for us it wasn’t a problem but it’s important to note. The food is just ok, the portions are not big but ok enough. I was disappointed by the asparagus salad I ordered as it had no flavor and the lettuce seemed already old (yellow) the Ravioli were just ok, nothing spectacular. We also tried pasta with truffle and parmigiana. For the quality I would say it’s lacking and the service is disappointing, I regretted choosing this place for a special ocassion and probably wouldn’t come back here. Simply because it’s so pretentious and doesn’t live up to the standards they try to present on their website, menu, etc. The only thing that was very good was the Tiramisu and the fact they honored my request for a small candle over it.

Carpaccio z wołowiny Wagyu oraz tatar niestety okazały się dość nudne i pozbawione wyrazu. Miałem wrażenie, że potencjał wysokiej jakości mięsa nie został w pełni wykorzystany. Na duży plus zasługują natomiast obsługa i klimat lokalu – profesjonalne, przyjazne i tworzące bardzo przyjemną atmosferę. Cacio e Pepe było smaczne, jednak moim zdaniem jest nieco przereklamowane. To dobre danie, ale mam wrażenie, że podobny poziom można znaleźć w Mediolanie w znacznie niższej cenie. Ogólnie wizyta była udana, choć nie wszystkie pozycje z menu spełniły moje oczekiwania.

Very disappointing experience overall. The service was poor from start to finish. We had a reservation at 10:00 PM but were forced to wait outside for around 20 minutes, and then another 10–15 minutes inside before anyone even attended to us. What made this even more frustrating is that the restaurant required a credit card guarantee and threatened a €50 per person penalty for arriving more than 15 minutes late — while they themselves kept us waiting for over half an hour. Completely unacceptable. The drinks were outrageously overpriced: €20 for a Negroni / Negroni Sbagliato in Italy is absurd — you don’t even pay that in Zurich. The food was equally disappointing. The tagliata was so bad that we had to send it back. Portions were very small and absolutely not worth the prices charged. Another detail that showed the lack of professionalism: the waiter poured the new wine into the same glass that still contained wine from the previous bottle. Overall, the restaurant felt extremely touristy and not authentically Italian at all. Far too expensive for the quality and experience offered. And be aware: this restaurant belongs to a chain. There are three different “San Marco” restaurants, all heavily marketed towards tourists. Strong marketing, but unfortunately very little substance behind it.

Restaurant was touristy, the food was okay but way too pricey for what it is. The staff was okay, they tried to be as nice as possible but as soon as we want to leave without taking dessert and 10 bottles of wine they seemed pissed. So all in all, if you don't want to come just to take an instagram picture but for good food & vibe - skip the place.

An Absolute Top Eschelon of a Dinner Restaurant in Milan!!!! The Main Dishes, Pastas, and even Antipastas are consistently very well prepared across the board and high quality, especially (what We respectively had of) the salads, veal, and Taglioni Pasta. The restaurant staff, especially Sonny and Denis, are fun and wonderful as well. This all unfolds in an intimate, authentic, and marvelous setting in Milan.
