Ac was weak, room was very loud, windows didn't seal very well. Hotel staff was hit or miss beware of loud glass bottles being throw out from the resturants down below at the end of night. trash trucks show up in the morning around 4 am to start collecting and they make so much noise its almost impossible to sleep through. Hotel should be in the 3 stsr range if anything

The hotel was excellent in terms of location, close to everything, and the reception staff were amazing and friendly. However, it was extremely, extremely, extremely noisy because there were restaurants and bars downstairs, and the noise wouldn’t calm down until around 1 AM. I had placed 5 € on the table, and it got stolen. Even though the amount is very small, no one has the right to take your belongings!

The location of this hotel was the reason why i booked this hotel and I was even more overjoyed when we were there its at 4 mins or less walking distance from amazing Trevi Fountain, the pantheon and the most beautiful Sant’Ignazio church; it’s literally at the heart of old rome next to the shopping and beautiful sites. In a safe space surrounded beautiful Italian restaurants. The rooms were remarkably clean and were kept clean throughout our stay. Receptionists weren’t too friendly but nevertheless they were extremely helpful and available whenever we wanted. All what you need from safety, comfort, good breakfast, and fast service was provided. Despite the rooms being a bit small I will choose to stay in this hotel again.

Kind staff but hotel room had a very strong sewer odor upon entering. Someone tried to clean the shower drain but the room still reeked. Even opening windows in the freezing cold of winter did not help. Family felt nauseated by the smell and had trouble sleeping. Was extremely disappointing.

Incredible hotel, shower may have been the best I have experienced in any hotel. Location was perfect too. You are in a city, and cities are loud; however, the rooms we were in had metal shutters that sealed the room both from light and sound and did a great job. Roof Top bar is a big +. Great spot.

Unfortunately I had to give 2 stars because during my first night's stay, a man I did not know slipped into my room at 2:30am while I was sleeping. The hotel staff had given the man a key to my room without even checking their system to see if they were giving him the correct key (!), and I had forgot to bolt the door. As a single woman in the room, it was absolutely terrifying, and disappointingly, the male staff did fully comprehend the seriousness of the mistake, although luckily I was not assaulted. Fortunately, the hotel did eventually refund the cost of that one night's stay after some negotiating. I did not give a 1-star rating because the hotel provided a really delicious breakfast every morning with different kinds of fresh juices, fruits, croissants, cereals, and yogurts. I really enjoyed the breakfast, and the attendant at the breakfast was very warm and kind. However, I would not stay at this hotel again due to a concern regarding the hotel staff's lack of regard to guests' safety.

We stayed here for five nights, and it was the perfect location. Everything was within walking distance, and we especially loved the rooftop — breakfast in the morning was wonderful, and the evening drinks were just as enjoyable. Yes, some rooms can be a very noisy at night and in the early morning (we were in room 205, directly facing the street), but that’s to be expected when you’re right in the heart of the city. It’s always lively, which my partner and I actually loved and fully expected going in. The front desk staff were polite and respectful, and any room requests were handled quickly. The minibar was reasonably priced, and getting to and from the airport was effortless — our Uber driver was literally just steps from the hotel entrance. Overall, our stay was a 10/10, and we’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome!

We booked a table for the brunch received an email to confirm the booking at 2’30 pm. In the email there is the information that we have the table until 4pm. We came and the manager said that the service is over at 3pm. Sorry but is this a joke ?!!! Is this the way you welcome your customers ?!! No way … don’t go there. Moreover we saw the brunch abs it is without choices spend your money in a good restaurant with honest people

Spent a leisurely couple of hours having drinks in their super rooftop yesterday. ( 22/9/25) Lovely ambiance, Polite and efficient staff. Good drinks , had to be an Aperol Spritz ,nice touch with the free nibbles Olives, Salted Almonds and little biscuit type things. If you want to go in the evening it’s best to reserve a table, we got lucky went at just turned 3pm when it opens quickly gets busy. Loved it.

Fantastic location close to everything but we were on the 2nd floor facing the street so incredibly noisy and woken up early every morning with local restaurants bins being emptied. Our room was a good size, and great shower but bed & pillows were quite uncomfortable so didn’t sleep well at all. One night the air conditioning was on the blink for the whole floor which was frustrating for all but the staff did their best. Roof terrace was lovely for cocktails and for breakfast. Also worth noting that Taxis can’t come down this street so we had to walk a bit with our luggage . Staff service was excellent.

Lovely hotel,great location and rooms were very nice and coffee machine in room made fabulous coffee. Staff were very welcoming and the roof top bar was very plush, we ate pizza there and it was excellent. Drinks selection was ok however could have done with more beer options, and was pricey for what it was, didn’t do the breakfast as one of us had a nut allergy and it looked far too unsafe to even chance it, again the selection looked a bit limited. However I would not hesitate to stay here again, quite possibly the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept on!!

Amazing location - a short walk in between the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. Clean rooms - although we did have problems with our rooms and had to be moved twice. But the staff provided exceptional service and resolved the issue as quickly as possible. Loved the rooftop great views and very vibey. They made my birthday memorable - so thank you.

We recently stayed at this hotel for four nights and overall had a wonderful experience. The rooftop bar was a highlight—great atmosphere and incredibly kind bar staff. The carriage staff were professional and helpful, and the front office team was warm and welcoming throughout our stay. Unfortunately, our impression was marred by one negative interaction on the last morning. We were dealing with a personal matter and ended up checking out about 10–15 minutes past the scheduled time. While we completely understand the importance of check-out policies, we were met with unnecessary rudeness and unprofessionalism from a staff member named Dianna. Her approach felt dismissive and surprisingly harsh given the otherwise high level of hospitality we experienced throughout our stay. It’s disappointing that one moment like this can color the end of an otherwise enjoyable visit. We hope management addresses this not to assign blame, but to ensure every guest is treated with understanding and respect—especially when they’ve had a great overall stay. We truly did enjoy the hotel and its staff, and wouldn’t want our review to discourage others from staying here we loved our room. It’s a great place—we just hope every guest can feel that from check-in all the way to check-out.

In the rooftop of the hotel, on the fifth floor, there is a very nice bar. The people working there are very polite. I don't give 5 star due to two reasons: First, the prices are very high and the quality-price ratio is medium to low . Secondly, the drinks are not well made, at least the classic one I ordered (pina colada). However, if you just want to chill out and enjoy the atmosphere, it is a great place!

My wife and I picked this hotel because it says specifically that the rooms have a “shower/bath” However they only have a shower. No bath at all. When we went to explain our confusion and clear things up the receptionist was less than helpful and kept saying “we don’t have any baths, none of the rooms do.” When we pointed out that their websites claim they do he just repeated himself like we were idiots. No apology or slight attempt to make up for the misleading information, he just wanted to get rid of us. Understandable that they can’t make a bath tub appear out of thin air. But the way they didn’t even attempt to make up for their false advertisement and dismissal of us was rubbish. Furthermore, we had booked for three nights, even though on the last night we wouldn’t be there because we had a late night flight. Our booking included buffet breakfast charging 20 euros for each of us for each morning. Obviously we would not be able to make use of the buffet breakfast the morning following our flight out of the city so we asked to get the money for that specific morning refunded. A flat refusal was given with a rubbish excuse of “that was already booked when you reserved the room.” Whether we are there are not changes nothing for them, but they thought it best to charge us 40 euros total for a service we couldn’t use. With that said, the location was excellent. Just the service had much to be desired.

We recently stayed at 9Hotel Cesàri and overall, it was a bit underwhelming. The hotel was clean, which we appreciated, and the location was excellent – right in the heart of everything, which made getting around easy. We had three rooms booked, all varying in size. Ours was on Level 1 facing the main strip and unfortunately, it was extremely loud – it honestly felt like we were sleeping outside. It was hard to get any proper rest. The other two rooms were quieter, so noise definitely depends on where you’re placed in the hotel. The room sizes were okay but not spacious, and the bathroom in our room had a tiny shower – more like what you’d find on a cruise ship. For the price we paid, we expected more comfort and better amenities. In our opinion, this is more of a 3-star hotel than a 4-star. The location is the main selling point, but everything else fell short of expectation

Very noisy room,we were staying at room number 204 and 205.. every morning around 6.15 am -6.30 there were big truck cleaning the garbage of bottles..the sound were so loud until you will waking up in shock. at night people talking and shouting on the street also very disturbing

Just stayed at this hotel in June 2025. The location is great, you are a 3 minute walk from the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon and a 10 minutes walk from the Spanish Steps. You are right in the heart of historic Rome, the only issue is if you can hear all the street noise and people walking by the hotel, however, if you want to be in the center of everything, this is the place to stay. There are over 50 restaurants in walking distance, ice cream shops, gelato restaurants, coffee shops, etc. DO NOT PAY FOR THE BREAKFEST BUFFET. They have limited options, the bacon they have is not fully cooked and the pancakes they make are cold and sitting on a plate, not even under a cover or on a heating plate. I stayed for five days, went to the buffet once and never went back. I was extremely disappointed in the food at the buffet. THE ROOFTOP BAR. Don't waste your time, I ordered a virgin Pina Colada for my daughter and they charged 14 Euros!!! Are you kidding me. The room is small, due to it being an historic building, however, it was nice and clean and we did not spend that much time in the room as we were right in the heart of historic Rome and kept hanging out in the streets seeing the sites. The only issue is the noise from the streets/people if you are going to bed early. I would recommend this hotel for the location, as you can not beat it, if you want to be in the heart of historic Rome and in walking distance of sites, eateries and shops. All the high end shops are within a 5 minute walk (Gucci, Prada, Fendi, Cartier, Omega, etc.). This location can not be beat.

Though we did not stay at the hotel, my family and I enjoyed after dinner drinks at the Rooftop Bar. What a gorgeous location!!!! The view high above Rome was something out of a movie. The pink umbrellas, the quaint seating areas and the ambiance was truly magical. Our server, Mansoor, went above and beyond, asking us each our names and where we were from. He treated us to quite an experience and we hope to visit again next time we’re in Rome. Highly recommend 9HotelCesari!!!!

The hotel is perfectly located between the Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain. The staff is wonderful, the breakfast is excellent, and the rooftop bar offers a truly Roman atmosphere. The main downside for us was that the hotel is not very baby-friendly in terms of facilities. There are no high chairs at breakfast, which means you have to hold the baby in your arms the entire meal instead of sitting and eating comfortably. The hotel is not fully accessible — while there are elevators, there are also steps and different levels between the elevator and the rooms, so they recommend leaving the stroller at the reception. Going back to breakfast — if I can't bring the stroller upstairs, at least provide a high chair... Aside from the accessibility issue, the hotel is truly perfect.

The rooms have been renovated, but cleanliness could be improved. On some days, I had to ask more than once to get the room cleaned. Noise was also an issue, mostly due to the doors in neighboring rooms slamming because of the way they close. Breakfast had a decent variety, but the sweet options were mostly packaged low-quality items like muffins, pancakes and donuts. It would’ve been nice to see some fresh Italian pastries at least once during my stay, but no luck. There was no personal touch or warm welcome from the hotel when I arrived, which made it feel a bit cold and impersonal. Honestly, an Airbnb might’ve been a better choice, this place just didn’t have much character. The best thing about the hotel is its central location, which made exploring the city easier.

The best part of this hotel is the location - the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon are just 5 minutes walk away, with all other major attractions (such as the Spanish Steps, the Colosseum and the Vatican being 30ish minutes walk). The rooms themselves are extremely spacious and incredibly clean, and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. They have a rooftop bar with great drinks and food, as well as a lovely view of the surrounding area. The only thing to note (although this may apply to other hotels in Rome from what I heard from others) is that the room was not soundproof at all. We could hear the sounds from the streets outside very clearly even though we were on the 3rd floor. We aren’t light sleepers, so it was fine for us, but if you are, I would recommend calling the hotel in advance to ask if you could potentially have a quieter room. However, given the convenience and overall experience, I would still definitely recommend this hotel when in Rome.

I stayed at 9Hotel Cesàri during my recent trip to Rome, and overall, it was a lovely experience. The location is absolutely unbeatable — right in the heart of the city, just steps away from major landmarks like the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. If you want to explore Rome on foot and soak in the energy of the historic center, this hotel is perfectly placed. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. While not extremely spacious, they’re cozy and functional with comfortable beds and good lighting. The design is minimalistic with a touch of charm, and everything felt very neat. Soundproofing was decent too, which matters when you’re staying in a busy central area. The service was solid — the staff was polite and helpful when needed. Check-in was smooth and fast, and we received useful information about nearby restaurants and transport. However, it wasn’t particularly warm or personal; it felt more transactional than welcoming. One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the rooftop terrace. Whether you’re grabbing a drink or just relaxing, the views from up there are stunning — especially at sunset. It gives you that “wow” moment that makes the trip feel special. I also appreciated the little welcome touches like snacks and drinks, which added a nice vibe to our arrival. Would I stay here again? This is our 2nd time staying here. As we remembered you are no more than a 20 minute walk from EVERYTHING you could want to see. And so much of it is less than 10 minutes from the hotel. The staff at the desk is wonderful & so helpful. The rooftop bar staff is fantastic, Mansoor is a fantastic waiter. The rooms are lovely & comfortable. I can not express how much we loved the hotel & how welcoming it is.

Brilliant hotel. There was a very nice overall feel to the whole place and it was in an absolutely amazing location right in the centre of everything which greatly benefited our stay in Rome. The lobby was good, the staff were very welcoming and attentive as they helped myself and my girlfriend numerous times whilst providing lots of advice. The room was nice and clean, a nice stay however the room is slightly small but not that it was a big issue. It was a great stay, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel in Rome.

Das gesamte Hotel hat eine elegante und gleichzeitig entspannte Atmosphäre. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Man wurde jederzeit herzlich behandelt. Das absolute Highlight war die Terrasse – einfach perfekt! Dort zu sitzen mitten in Rom war ein echtes Traumgefühl. ✨ Und die Lage könnte nicht besser sein: mitten im Herzen der Stadt, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Pire rooftop de Rome — et pourtant la concurrence est rude. Petit conseil d’ami : ne vous fiez ni aux vidéos Instagram/TikTok ni aux avis de ceux qui n’y ont jamais mis les pieds (visiblement nombreux). Sur le papier, coucher de soleil, vue magique, ambiance chic… en réalité, en mars/avril, c’est plutôt une reconstitution grandeur nature de l’Antarctique. La “golden hour” ? Oui, mais version “hypothermie premium”. Chauffages extérieurs insuffisants, et ceux qui fonctionnent semblent réservés à une élite invisible. Les tables de deux ? Tolérées, mais clairement pas prioritaires — sauf si vous aimez vous sentir comme des figurants dans votre propre soirée. Côté service, c’est un peu la loterie : la table d’à côté commande exactement la même chose que vous → eux reçoivent cacahuètes et olives, vous... Les plaids ? Apparemment une ressource plus rare que le marbre du Colisée. Les cocktails, parlons-en : plus de glace que de boisson. On ne sait pas si on est venu boire un verre ou contempler un iceberg à 18€. Rafraîchissant, certes… surtout pour le peu de liquide qu’il reste. Résultat : repli stratégique à l’intérieur après avoir perdu toute sensation dans les extrémités. Et pour couronner le tout, l’addition : 34€ pour un spritz à 18€ et un mocktail à 16€. À ce prix-là, on espère au moins que l’alcool a été distillé à partir de raisins cultivés dans la villa de Néron. Mention spéciale à l’hôtesse, dont l’accueil glacial rivalise parfaitement avec la température ambiante, et dont les sourcils semblent avoir été dessinés au Posca — précision artistique, chaleur humaine en option. Bref : un lieu très photogénique… mais surtout pour ceux qui repartent vite.

Muuuy céntrico así que la ubicación es buenísima, atención muy buena, el desayuno agregaría más variedad, el precio del bar es alto pero muy lindo y aunque NO fue culpa del hotel solo para que estén atentos el hotel nos hizo el favor de pedirnos un taxi para irnos y aunque tienen una tarifa fija de 55€ hasta el aeropuerto nos cobró 75€ al finalizar el viaje repito el hotel NO tiene culpa pero para que lo tengan en cuenta.

El hotel esta muy bien ubicado, cercano a los principales puntos turisticos. El personal muy agradable, las habitaciones muy lindas. Tiene muchas escaleras inclusos dentro del mismo piso y dentro del lugar para desayunar. El ascensor es muy pequeño y se hace dificil usarlo en los horarios de desayuno y cena. Fuimos con una persona de movilidad reducida y al respecto puedo decirles: 1. La habitacion estaba muy bien preparada 2. El baño muy adecuado solo faltaba un banco para tomar baño pero lo solicitamos y enviaron una silla. 3. El lugar del desayuno tiene 2 escaleras de unos 5 escalones cada una pero ofrecieron llevarlo a la habitacion sin cargo. Lo unico que no logramos solucionar en las 2 estadias son los 2 escalones de la entrada principal. Les sugiero tener una rampa movil o plegable de tal forma que se facilite el acceso. Hay un mundo de personas con capacidad reducida y con ganas de viajar y disfrutar la vida. Seria el unico punto en contra.

Très surprenant, accueil, sympathique, mais pas pour le prix 8 € pour un café, c’est tout simplement injustifiable. À Rome, les prix sont connus et cet écart donne clairement l’impression d’un tarif destiné uniquement aux touristes. Je ne recommande pas de consommer au bar de l’hôtel.

Alors … service déplorable : serveuses à l’entrée qui font littéralement la gueule et ne parlent pas, ok pour payer des cocktails plus chers car c’est un Rooftop mais pas 16 euros par cocktails qui étaient mauvais, sans intérêt en terme de gout. Le seul point positif de notre expérience est le serveur masculin qui nous a placé qui était sympa. Mais rien d’autre.

Servizio pessimo portano tre drink senza accompagnare con nulla, solo dopo 5 min arrivano con due mini cestini di olive e taralli ma senza piattini senza tovaglioli, chiesti i tovaglioli un cameriere trafelato ne lascia due di numero pur se eravamo in tre. Mi experiencia en este hotel fue realmente maravillosa. Uno de los puntos destacados fue sin duda su rooftop, desde donde se pueden apreciar unas vistas increíbles de la ciudad y disfrutar de un ambiente relajante y moderno. Es el lugar perfecto para relajarse después de un día de turismo o simplemente para disfrutar de un atardecer espectacular. Además, quiero destacar la amabilidad y atención de Martina, quien nos recibió con una sonrisa cálida y nos hizo sentir como en casa desde el primer momento. Su actitud cordial y su disposición para ayudarnos en todo momento hicieron que nuestra estancia fuera aún más especial. Sin duda, recomiendo este hotel por su hermoso rooftop y por la atención excepcional de su personal, en especial Martina. ¡Volveremos pronto!

Root bello, personale gentile, ma la ragazza che ci ha accompagnato al tavolo non ci ha dato il posto nelle poltrone dicendo che erano prenotati, 2 calici di Franciacorta per 28,00 potrebbero andare bene, ma le olive portate al tavolo erano supereciclate perché molli, vecchie e cattive con un aspetto terribile. Ci sarei tornata molto volentieri, ma a Roma il difetto di tutti è solo dare robaccia aii turisti, che tra l’altro spendono anche molto.

La réception et l'accueil est impeccable tout comme l'établissement, propre , accueillant. Il y a un ascenseur. J'ai pris une chambre triple avec une salle de bain correct, un mini bar,tv,coffre fort et des matelas au top . Il y a un rooftop avec un barmen au top aussi, tout comme la réceptionniste,agréable et charmante. L'hôtel est à 100 mètres de la Fontaine de Trevi, à 8 minutes à pied de la place d'Espagne, a 10 minutes de la place de Bucareste, à 7 minutes du Panthéon à 6 minutes du Rooftop bien connu du 9cesari, une localisation idéale pour tout faire à pied. Au pied de L'hôtel boutiques , restaurants, glaciers etc...

Nous avions réservé sur le rooftop pour le brunch du dimanche. Après s’être installés et s’être renseignés (personne n’est venu nous prévenir) nous avons appris qu’il n’y avait en réalité pas de brunch le dimanche. Pourtant le site indiquait bien qu’il était disponible les dimanches du 15 avril au 15 mai. Déçu par cette communication mensongère et par le personnel qui n’a même pas pris la peine de s’excuser du désagrément et d’essayer de trouver une solution. Attention, pas de vue panoramique comme indiqué, mais une vue sur les toits.

Terasta bir bayan var aynı duyguda değilim. Terasta oturmak için koltuğa yöneldim pardon rez dedi bir sıkışık sandalye gösterdi otelde musterisi ve yiyip içmeyi seven bir daha hiç yemedim. Lo realmente importante de este hotel, es que probablemente es el.mejor ubicado del centro de Roma. En la calle vía di piedra está de un lado está la vía del corso, que es de las más turísticas: fontana de trevi, plaza España y plaza del pololo. Y del otro lado te conduce a la puerta de Adriano, el Panteón, pla,a Navona y caminando a la tumba de Adriano y el Vaticano. Todo a 10 - 15 min unos caminando.
