I'm obsessed. We had to wait about 15 minutes in a queue outside in the blazing sun, but it was worth it. The iced lattes and iced chai lattes are impeccably prepared. The pancakes are sweet and fluffy, the avocado toast is delicious, and don't miss out on their banana bread. The staff is lovely, kind, helpful, and funny. I'm glad I got to visit this place before I left Rome.

We used to go when they had previous location and menu. They changed the menu and it was a bit of a disappointment the new one. No more organic eggs, no more abundance in the plate etc. They have good reviews from past location and past menu. I really hope you can go back to the successful menu you used to have.

We really wanted to love this place unfortunately, the experience fell short from start to finish. We ordered two open omelets, with no indication on the menu or from our waiter that the eggs would be prepared over easy. We also ordered buttermilk pancakes, scrambled eggs, and three plain croissants, all of which were genuinely delicious. The omelets were a different story. One never arrived at all, leaving one of us without food for the entire meal. The one that did come out was extremely watery, and when I politely asked for it to be cooked a bit longer, the waiter declined. To add to the discomfort, the restaurant was around 85°F inside , far too warm for an enjoyable meal. When I asked to speak with someone, we were offered three almond biscuits. After pressing again, I was connected with a manager who had been visible the whole time — despite being told he wasn’t available. He seemed frustrated, quickly offered to refund our entire €53 bill, and walked away. I never asked for a full refund; I simply wanted a genuine conversation about what went wrong. One bright spot was a kind host who mentioned the restaurant had recently relocated and was still settling in. That was appreciated , but perhaps a few more days of preparation before reopening would have made all the difference.

We went there for breakfast and had a really good time. The food and drinks were delicious and the staff was really friendly and welcoming. You can tell that this place was made in order to please tourists, so don't expect the true Italian ambience you would get at a different place. We had to wait roughly 20 minutes without a reservation, so be prepared to stay in line for a bit. Luckily, they regularly brought some drinks so we didn't mind standing in line that much. You should also definitely try their homemade pastries!

We used to come here before they changed the location and the menu. Sadly everything has changed. The food was undercooked and the bread was old. Also 8€ for an orange juice is extremely expensive for Rome.

As an architect, and from my humble point of view, Barnum Roma is a venue clearly designed for the mass market and tourism. It feels very commercial, created to appeal to as many people as possible, and in that sense it succeeds. The food is good, with a solid overall quality, although I found the prices to be on the medium-to-high side. Nothing unreasonable for such a popular tourist area, but not particularly outstanding either. I would especially like to highlight the service from the waitstaff, who were friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. My main criticism concerns the way the restaurant is managed. It feels highly focused on maximizing table turnover. After already waiting in line to get in, when it was time to pay, we were asked to leave our table so that other customers could be seated, and then join another queue to settle the bill. While I understand the need to run an efficient business, as a customer it was not a pleasant experience and gave the impression that the venue operates more as a money-making machine than a place of hospitality. Overall, good food, excellent service from the staff, and an attractive venue, but management seems overly focused on volume and table turnover rather than customer experience.

It feels cool from the outside. But it is expensive for a very random avocado toast mostly with guacamole, bread is super random, not a lot to eat. Lot of waiters for nothing because you have to queue at the counter (again) to pay at the end of your meal and it’s very disorganized. Feels like this touristic places that you can find everywhere in the world with no soul.

The queue was big outside (which is a sign it’s good) so we hopped in and did the stood at the counter. The espresso of the day was a nice touch and was absolutely exquisite as was the lemon and almond cake. The staff were so friendly and had a laugh with them as we stood at the counter. Probably my favourite cafe in terms of quality and atmosphere in Rome.

We had a wonderful experience at Barnum Roma. The atmosphere was absolutely charming, with beautiful outdoor seating and a cozy European vibe that made the whole place feel special. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented — especially the pancakes and sandwiches. A special thank you to our host, Ali, who made the experience even better. He was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind throughout our visit. His hospitality added such a warm and personal touch, and you can truly feel how much he cares about the guests. Definitely one of our favorite spots in Rome, and we would happily come back again

I don’t usually like to stand in a line, but Im glad I did. The personnel is lovely, the food was tasty and I finally found a good filter coffee in Italy. We ordered scrambled eggs with avocado, a fruit bowl and eggs with the chickpeas and all the dishes were great.

Barnum Cafè is a true gem in Rome! I had the latte, scrambled eggs, and a croissant — simple choices, but all executed beautifully. The eggs were perfectly creamy, the croissant was fresh and flaky, and the latte was smooth and rich. You can feel the care that goes into every dish. The atmosphere is cozy and vibrant at the same time, which makes it a perfect spot to start the day. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the Campo de' Fiori area — just get there early, as the queue fills up fast!

Honestly, Barnuma Roma is massively overrated. We heard so much hype about it and came expecting something really special, but it was honestly disappointing from start to finish. We waited around 45 minutes just to get a table, then another queue again for the toilet. The whole place just feels chaotic and badly organised. The food itself was mediocre at best. I ordered pancakes with fresh cream, specifically asked for the cream, and they still arrived without it. Nobody explained whether they’d run out before we ordered. Either way, for a place with this reputation, it’s poor. And honestly? The food isn’t even particularly Italian. It feels more like an overhyped Instagram brunch spot than somewhere offering authentic Roman food. There are so many genuinely amazing places to eat in Rome with better food, better atmosphere, and far less hassle. I genuinely don’t understand the hype, and personally I wouldn’t come back again.

An outstanding place with outstanding foods and service. We waited around 10 minutes but it was worth it. The team was welcoming and kind, the food was excellent and the coffees were exactly as it should be. Thank you Barnum Team, keep up the good work you are doing. June update: We visited Barnum today and, in the new location, there are some missing “pieces”: the menu is minimal, with less options, the food is good but not enough, they cut down some items from some menu items or changed them not in the good way. The only constant is the coffee which is great 👍. We’ll return at some point to give the 5⭐️back.

Cold brew söyledik. Bu zamana kadar belki 1000 tane cold brew içmişizdir, açık kahverengi olmadığını bildiğimiz için görünce şaşırdık. Tadına bakınca suya kahve damlatılmış gibi geldi. Değiştirmek istediğimizde bize ekstra söyleyeceğimiz içeceğin de parasının yansıtılacağı söylendi. Daha önce böyle bir durumla karşılaşmadık bizi çok şaşırttı. Eğer ekstra ücret talep edeceklerse kalan siparişleri iptal etmek istediğimizi söyleyince müdürleri gelip bize açıklama yaptı. Ama yapılan açıklama müşteriyi memnun etmekten ziyade siz bilmiyorsunuz cold brew böyle yapılır şeklinde idi. Daha sonra bizim bilgi sahibi olduğumuzu görünce, ekstra istemeden değişim yapmayı kabul ettiler. Yemekler için gerçekten tatlarını beğendik fakat yumurta çeşidini değiştirebiliriz diye kendileri önerdiler ama ekstra ödememiz gerektiğini kasada öğrendik. Bence çok yorum olan mekanları denemeden önce iki kere düşünmek gerek Roma’da.

La verdad que esperaba mas. La experiencia de ir no fue buena. Primero que Roma tiene pocas cafeterías de especialidad, por lo que las que existen se llenan, en este caso tuve que hacer fila en pleno sol con mas de 30 grados. Cuando me tocó entrar ya estaba transpirado jaja. Me dieron una mesa, el mozo hablaba español. Pedí filtrado (estaba bien pero no se qué gramaje usaron que lo sentí un poco insípido). La pastelería es mas pinta que sabor. Se ve lindo pero no se siente tan lindo a la boca. Probé el croissant de almendras y otro producto que venía relleno de limón. Cuando fui a pagar, cada pieza me la cobraron 5 euros, bastante caro para lo que suele salir la pastelería en Roma en cafeterías buenas, eso resta puntos ya que pagué mucho por algo que no fue bueno. Pero lo que mas me molestó es que si bien la cafetería es mas grande y tiene una estética linda dentro de todo, el calor que hacía adentro era insoportable. Ponen aire acondicionado pero dejan todas las puertas y ventanas abiertas, por lo que no se perciben los pequeños aires instalados. Se sentía mucho mejor estar afuera porque había vientito aunque sea. No pude estar mas de media hora ahí dentro porque transpiré mas que cuando hice la fila casi. Se lo comuniqué a la gente de la caja. Debería ser cómodo estar dentro y no un calvario. Por todo esto que comenté, fue caro y no la pasé bien, por eso mi calificación. No volveré a ir salvo que cambien esta forma de funcionamiento, ya que podría darle una segunda oportunidad a otras pastelerías y cafés de ahí. Pero con este calor cada vez peor, deberían cerrar las puertas para mantener el frío muchachos.

Ich sag mal naja. Auch für Rom viel zu teuer und geschmacklich nichts besonderes. 80€ für drei Brote und drei Getränke ist schon zu viel. Dafür waren wir hier in feinen Restaurants essen. 23€ für pastrami Bagel und der war trocken dafür aber ein halbes Kilo Mayo drauf. Braucht man echt nicht

La valoración es para su “Pistacchio Pain Suisse”. El lugar tiene una gran variedad de repostería artesanal y una opción amplia de Brunch a la carta, a unos precios bastante turísticos y elevados. Pistacchio Pain Suisse: La textura de la masa es crujiente, aunque demasiado aireada. El relleno es de una calidad media, utilizan pistachos de baja calidad en formato masa que ocupan la mayor parte del interior, y un poco de crema de pistacho de calidad superior apenas notable en el sabor. En cuanto a la masa, el sabor es neutro y excaso.
