28/05/2026Really enjoyed the tour. Our guide Louis was really knowledgeable and friendly. We took children aged 5 and 8, I was a little apprehensive about a 90 minute tour but they loved the tunnels so all was well. If you aren't a fan of tight spaces, you don't have to walk through. I would only say that I wish I'd read up on the Greek and Roman involvement before the tour, only because the acoustics in the quarried spaces make it difficult to catch all the information given by the tour guide.

23/05/2026I couldn’t in all conscience recommend this tour, largely as a result of our guide, who did her very best to ensure everyone on the tour knew this was the last place she wanted to be. She was rude to those asking questions, dismissive of the very things we were being shown, abrupt and formulaic in her delivery (which contained information significantly different from that given by other tour guides) and wanted everyone to know she was the cleverest person in the room. A thoroughly unpleasant performance. It was so bad we thought for a moment it was one of those “rude themed” restaurants. Save your money, try another company.

02/05/2026Unfortunately, it was rather a disappointment for me. While the site is historically interesting, the entire tour felt far too commercial. The groups are huge, so you mostly just shuffle along and wait for others in the narrow tunnels instead of truly enjoying the atmosphere. The guide's explanation was okay, but with the noise and the sheer number of people, it was hard to understand at times. If you have limited time in Naples, there are more authentic places to visit without such crowds. In the end, the photos look more appealing than the actual experience.

22/10/2025Great tour about Naples' underground system and ancient roman theatre lasting ~1 hour 20 minutes. Queued only around 5-10 minutes without reservation for the English tour on a Wednesday afternoon, but I think it is better to reserve in advance. Our tour guide (Kyrgyzstan man, sorry I forgot his name) was very clear, informative and humourous! There is a narrow underground tunnel that you can go through/opt out of. Student price €10 is okay, not sure if I would pay €15.

A big but is that they do not tell you at the entrance that if you want to see the actual water you need to go through very thin hallways that you can only walk sideways and ducking, without lights and definitely nos something for normal claustrophobic people.

06/09/2024I booked this activity but made a mistake booking at 18:00 instead of 10:00 through getyourguide site. The activity provider (Napoli Sotterranea) didn't want to change the hour or refund me. I had to book 10:00 too. There were many free places, so I do not understand what was the problem of changing the reservation or at least refunding me. We live in the 21st century and there was no technical reason. The guide was speaking very fast and it was hard to understand what he was saying. A tourist from the group asked him to pronounce better and slow down but he ended up being got off from the tour by the guide.

Il percorso si è limitato a cunicoli privi di reale valore storico o narrativo, con scarsa cura degli ambienti: ragnatele, polvere e persino estintori e dispositivi di sicurezza scaduti. Le installazioni esposte erano poco più che ferraglia senza contesto. La gestione dava l’impressione di voler accelerare i tempi per far entrare più gruppi possibile, sacrificando qualità e approfondimento.

A definirla antipatica sono gentile ..avrà detto 4 frasi e a bassa voce con 50 persone nel gruppo! Famiglia con 2 bambini 50 Euro regalati. Male.

01/04/2026La guía muy maleducada. Íbamos con un bebé y desde el principio nos regañó porque hacía ruido. Nos dejaba al final del grupo sin preocuparse de facilitarnos la visita con el bebé. Empezaba las explicaciones antes de que consiguiéramos reunirnos con el grupo. Además, el resto de personal también muy antipáticos y estúpidos. Parecería que les debiéramos un favor. No recomiendo esta visita en absoluto.

27/02/2026No hay tour en español. Se puede elegir bien tour en italiano o bien en inglés. En nuestro caso lo hicimos en inglés, el grupo era gigante para una sola guía, más de 40 personas. La guía hablaba inglés muy mal , apenas se la entendía entre que hablaba muy flojo y el acento. Al salir de lo subterráneo te enseñan una casa con portales y después de eso perdimos al grupo porque éramos muchos y a la guía ni se le veía ni se le escuchaba

Divertente per i bambini sopratutto il percorso nei cunicoli. E’ possibile fermarsi in aree più ampie (per chi soffre gli spazi molto stretti) e riunirsi al gruppo.

19/06/2025Tourguide selbst war gut und freundlich. Allerdings ist der Hinweis in 40 Metern Tiefe wenig erheiternd, wonach man ja gemeinsam sterben würde, wenn jetzt die Erde anfängt zu beben und alles zerstört. Es sind ja auch Kinder dabei, die auf so etwas empfindlich reagieren können. Aber gut, damit lässt es sich noch leben. Ärgerlicher ist das sehr unfreundliche Personal direkt am Eingang. Dutzende Menschen sollten sich bei mehr als 30 Grad direkt in die Sonne stellen um zu warten. Mein Hinweis, man könne doch auch im Schatten warten, wurde rüde zurückgewiesen. "Dort würden anderen Gruppen durchlaufen". Das dauert übrigens nur wenige Sekunden und es wäre demnach sehr gut möglich, dass man dann eben kurzzeitig in die Sonne ausweicht. So geistig flexibel zeigten sich die dort Beschäftigten aber leider nicht, um das zu organisieren. Stattdessen meinte einer sogar noch frech, im Sommer wäre es eben heiß und ich könne ja stattdessen zum Strand. Er sagte dies übrigens aus einem schattigen Plätzchen heraus. Wer seinen Job so ausführt, dürfte schon bald selber viel Zeit für den Strand haben. Die Tour in der Zisterne dauert rund 50 Minuten und ist kurzweilig. Allerdings steht man danach 40 Minuten im Mini-Rest eines alten Theaters. In einem Raum darüber ist es viel zu warm und vom Theater, das man darunter betritt, ist eigentlich nichts zu erkennen. Als Erlebnis eher durchschnittlich und Teile des Personals ein Komplettausfall.

31/05/2025Η εμπειρία στις κατακομβες της Νάπολης είναι εξαιρετική. Προκαλεί δέος. Η διάρκεια της επίσκεψης στις κατακόμβες ειναι περίπου 40 λεπτά. Στη συνέχεια επισκεφθήκαμε τα ερείπια απο το αρχαίο ρωμαϊκό θέατρο, στα οποία δεν μπορείς να δεις και πολλά πράγματα. Σίγουρα μέσα από τη συνολική εμπειρία συμμετέχεις σε ενα ταξίδι στο χρόνο. Ο ξεναγός που είχαμε ήταν ευγενέστατος αλλά δυστυχώς δεν μιλούσε πολύ καθαρά αγγλικά. Αξίζει να το επισκεφθείτε!

10/04/2025Nous avons été accompagnés par un guide qui nous a traités comme du poisson pourri! La seule visite guidée proposée était en italien. Je comprends cette langue et ai donc accepté cette visite. Mais le guide ne nous a littéralement pas adressé la parole, ne nous invitant même pas à rentrer au début de la visite. Ses commentaires n'étaient destinés qu'à l'autre couple présent, italiens quant à eux... Inadmissible !

Attenzione ai passaggi estremamente stretti in cui si cammina di lato perché non ci si passa. I gruppi a mio parere un po' troppo numerosi che di conseguenza rendono la visita più lenta e il percorso magari un po' complicato per rischio blocchi (scorre comunque)

Di solito in italiano osano raccontare di piú, che quando devono esprimersi in Lingua straniera (Ho fatto anche inglese e spañolo). Última visita martedi 14/12 alle 17 ore con un Ragazzo attento, bravísimo, colto e simpático..pur con un gruppo follemente grande a mio parere.

31/12/2024Un po’ deludente per noi. Vorrei segnalare però che nel percorso ci si trova a fare un passaggio di qualche minuto (non un semplice varco per intenderci) davvero molto molto stretto, girati lateralmente perché frontalmente non si passa e rigorosamente in fila indiana in un gruppo per ciascuna visita piuttosto numeroso. Abbiamo trovato strano scoprirlo solo al momento di entrarci grazie alla spiegazione della guida. Nessuna avvertenza per persone sovrappeso oppure con zaini o borse voluminose. Ed in un cunicolo simile, creare panico per blocchi potrebbe essere pericoloso. Ci sarebbero davvero le condizioni per una dima/misuratore stile bagagli a mano dell’aeroporto che riproduca le dimensioni del passaggio: perché ci si possa rendere conto prima a cosa si va incontro

19/12/2024Piazza San Gaetano, nel cuore del centro storico di Napoli, sorge lungo il decumano maggiore, l’antica via dei Tribunali. Un tempo agorà greca e foro romano, divenne in epoca angioina centro amministrativo. Prende il nome da San Gaetano, la cui tomba si trova nella basilica di San Paolo Maggiore, che insieme a San Lorenzo Maggiore domina la piazza. Al centro, una statua di San Gaetano su basamento marmoreo del XVII secolo, opera di Cosimo Fanzago, ricorda la peste del 1656. La piazza offre accesso a Napoli Sotterranea e agli scavi archeologici di San Lorenzo.

01/11/2024Visite très intéressante à faire avec des enfants. Attention tout de même à un passage de plusieurs dizaines de mètres très, très étroit. Je suis légèrement claustrophobe, et j' ai pu le faire sans problème. Les personnes qui n'osent ou ne peuvent pas le faire, peuvent attendre dans une salle souterraine. Les guides napolitains sont extraordinaires. Je valide à 100/100 et vais le refaire très bientôt avec de la famille.
