Incredibly disappointing. Having experienced specialty coffee across Italy and globally, this is completely substandard for a €5 cup. It was watery, lacked texture, and had zero coffee aroma or flavor. Even drank immediately as a takeaway, it failed on every level. Not recommended for true coffee lovers.

Prompt and attentive service. Everyone was friendly helpful. The pace of service was excellent. We had a croissant roll filled with custard and cherries that was delicious. Coffee was quite good. Nice spot for a quick breakfast. The menu has nice selection of egg dishes and toasts that we’d love to try on a future visit.

We stumbled across this on a short trip to Rome, just around the corner from our hotel. It was fantastic! The quality of the food was amazing and the coffee was delicious. It satisfied everybody from my husband who loves coffee to my son who requires a substantial breakfast. Would really recommend it - but it gets very busy (there was a queue out of the door from around 8.30) but it's worth the wait.

Fantastic breakfast experience at LUNA by Faro. I had breakfast here a couple of days ago and, despite knowing it is a speciality coffee shop, I was mostly interested in their bakery. Hence the picture only shows the pastry. The creativity of their pastry chef is truly commendable: this pastry had a marzipan base, some delicate, not too sweet, custard with a subtle lemon zest aftertaste, some perfectly arranged apricot slices, a sprinkle of lavender seeds and a coat of granulated sugar. The flavours had a unique balance, a pleasant to the eye shape and a unforgivable taste. Admittedly it was a bit hard for me to digest but my digestion can be quite slow at times, so I have no complaints. Additionally I should also say the staff was extremely helpful: I lost my keychain the day I went to LUNA, but I realised it only later that afternoon, when I came back a couple of days later to check if I happened to lose it there, thay actually had it! Will absolutely visit again next time I am in Roma.

Came here with a big group right during their breakfast rush, and we wanted to sit down, so we waited for a bit outside. They were very friendly and the line moved really quickly! We sat outside on the lovely patio and ordered. All of the food and drinks arrived really quickly and it was all fantastic. The cinnamon roll was genuinely amazing, and the Sunny Sausages and the Green Planet were both incredible, the eggs were light and fluffy, the veggies added a really great flavor and the bread it came on was excellent! The sausage was unlike anything I'd had before, it had a great flavor and the hummus it came in was very light and refreshing! I didn't order coffee, but many others did and they all said that it was phenomenal, and my Chai Latte was superb. We also ordered the Maritozzo, the Nodino Cioc, and the Ventaglio, and they were all delicious as well! Only let down was that they were out of the Pain au Chocolat! Can't recommend this place enough!!!

Came here one morning with a big group and we were sat fairly quickly! The staff is super nice (unless you put sugar in your coffee) and the atmosphere is quite pleasant. You cannot go wrong with the food and pastries- the maritozzo and intergalactic toast were my favorites. Absolutely worth the hype!!

We stumbled upon this cafe while we were out and about. It already had a small line, so we figured it was worth checking out. We were seating pretty quickly, and were treated to an in depth explanation of their coffee beans. You end up noticing their coffee is delicious and rich, whichever you choose. I had egg on a brioche slice and it was simply the most delicious way to start your day. Probably the best scrambled egg I’ve had! Stop by if you have a chance, I’d highly recommend.

Had to visit twice in our 4 day trip - that’s how good this place is. Every single item will blow your mind, including the coffee. The host is lovely and the service is quick and pleasant. The maritozzi is the perfect sweet treat, amazingly balanced with a light, delicious, cream. The parsley focaccia of the day was SO good. Highly recommend braving the queue (it moves very quickly!)

We just happened to come across this cafe while we are hanging around in town. We saw a long queue waiting outside the cafe and it drew our attention. On the way back, we saw no more queue and wanted to try this place, but it was going to close in 30 mins. No problem, we are tourists and not gonna stay for long. So we tasted some coffee here with good standard. We thought Italy is a country of espresso, but not every places have good coffee. So this place really survived us. It has a small backyard which is really cute and chill in such the hot weather of a late April afternoon. We enjoyed the coffee and the atmosphere here.

During my stay in Rome, I visited Luna four times. And I think there’s no better way to summarize how much I enjoyed this place. What started as a quick stop for coffee quickly became one of my favorite spots in the city. Luna has something that’s hard to find: a warm and relaxed atmosphere, excellent service, and a food program that keeps you coming back for more. But where they truly shine is coffee. I had the opportunity to try coffees from Uganda and Ethiopia, as well as several V60 brews, and every single one was exceptional. You can immediately tell there is genuine knowledge, passion, and respect for the product behind every cup. I especially appreciated the detailed information they provide about each coffee, including the producer, farm, variety, altitude, processing method, and tasting notes. As a coffee lover, those are the details that make a real difference. The cappuccinos were flawlessly executed on every visit: balanced, creamy, and consistently excellent. Without a doubt, some of the best coffee I had during my trip. The pastry selection also deserves special recognition. Everything we tried was beautifully executed, with quality ingredients, clean flavors, and great technique. While some of the laminated pastries may share a similar base, the different fillings give each one its own personality and make it worth exploring the menu. Another thing I really enjoyed is that Luna is much more than a coffee shop. They offer a complete brunch menu, both sweet and savory options, wines, cocktails, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer. Yes, prices are slightly higher than in some other places, but it’s also clear how much care and attention goes into every detail, from the coffee itself to the service and presentation. And if you find a line outside when you arrive, don’t worry. We had to wait a few times as well. The line moves quickly and, after experiencing the place, I completely understood why it is always busy. Rome has countless cafés, but very few made me want to come back four times during the same trip.

The food and coffee were both good. However, the staff treated Asians and Europeans differently. When we asked to sit outdoors, the staff told us the outdoor seats were full. But after we sat inside, we kept seeing him seating foreign-looking guests at the outdoor tables. Another staff member saw that there was no water on our table but didn’t offer any — we had to ask for it ourselves. It seems this kind of arrogant attitude is common in Italian restaurants, and it left us with a very bad impression of the people here. I don’t recommend this cafe.

An pretentious café with overpriced, completely unauthentic food and atmosphere. They give you a whole lecture about the coffee, only for it to arrive lukewarm. Sky-high prices, tiny portions, and a very staged vibe. We didn’t feel like we were in Rome — or even in Italy. Definitely not a place we would return to.

The vibe and atmosphere here is great. This was actually my second brunch spot of the day and it was phenomenal. The Crean Maritozzi is a must have. The Tiramisu is fantastic. And the Eggs Benedict with Guacamole was super as well (comes with 2 poached eggs on one piece of bread). The coffee here speaks for itself. You can pick from a variety of different beans. The coffee menu shows 5 bean selections to choose from, but only 2 of them were available (I'd rather not see the menu of 5 options if all wouldn't be available). Overall, highly recommend.

Since Luna opened I’ve often went and never has it disappointed! I’m a sucker for their sandwiches with milk bread and pastries. They make everything from scratch and have new specials every day. Getting takeaway will save you some time, there’s often a line outside for a table especially on weekends but even so it’s worth the wait. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Overall all highly recommend!

Food was good, the barista needs training in customer service. I was a very easy customer ordering a cappuccino, which took a while to make. Then when I asked for sugar I received an exasperated look like I was asking for the most difficult and complicated order. Just looking for some friendly customer service should not be that difficult.

We had brunch at Luna and it was absolutely delicious. The avo Benedict toast was excellent quality with a very generous portion size. We also ordered the maritozzo, which was one of the best we had during our trip to Rome. The service was great, and they have a lovely little courtyard for outdoor dining. One of the very few places in Rome offering a proper brunch menu — highly recommend.

This is an award-winning café and bakery, so don’t leave without trying their specialty coffees. I had a coffee brewed with the V60 method, and it was excellent. When you step inside, you’ll notice that the interior actually opens up to the outside. If possible, I would recommend sitting outdoors. The staff were very friendly as well. I went there around 9am, and there was a queue at the door, so I had to wait about 10 minutes just something to keep in mind

A coffee shop that's truly out of this world Luna Specialty Coffee is one of those places that gets everything right, not just the coffee, but the whole experience from the moment you walk in. The design is clever and fully committed to the concept: everything revolves around the name Luna and the world of space. The décor, the atmosphere, even the names of the drinks and food on the menu are all inspired by the cosmos, planets, moons, stars, you name it. It's playful without being gimmicky, and it gives the place a real personality that sets it apart from your standard specialty coffee spot. But of course, a great theme only gets you so far, the coffee and food have to deliver. And they absolutely do. The coffee was outstanding, exactly what you'd hope for from a specialty roaster: balanced, complex, beautifully prepared. The food was equally impressive, fresh, carefully made, and genuinely delicious. If you're a coffee lover visiting Rome and want something a little different from the classic espresso-at-the-bar experience, Luna is a must. Creative, cosy, and seriously good. Waited 10 minutes, husband downed his coffee which arrived just as we’d decided . No sign of pastries arriving. Could literally see them in glass display case. Passo spesso davanti a questo locale e vengo sempre attirata dal profumo delizioso, notando anche le lunghe code all'ingresso. Abbiamo deciso di provarlo per la prima volta e devo dire che il caffè è davvero ottimo: un cappuccino costa 5 euro, un prezzo alto, ma la qualità merita l'esperienza. Essendo andati piuttosto tardi, i loro dolci più venduti erano già esauriti. Le due opzioni che abbiamo scelto non ci hanno del tutto soddisfatto, ma spero di poter assaggiare i loro pezzi forti la prossima volta. Ho notato che circa l'80% della clientela è composta da turisti e ci sono pochissimi italiani. Se dovessi avere amici in visita in città, li porterei sicuramente qui per l'atmosfera. Tuttavia, da residente locale, non credo che ci tornerei per la mia routine quotidiana: nelle caffetterie frequentate dai residenti, un caffè e un dolce di ottima qualità costano anche il 70% in meno. Nel complesso, un'ottima esperienza per una volta o per i turisti! I often walk past this place, always drawn in by the amazing aroma and the long lines outside. We finally decided to try it for the first time, and the coffee was indeed excellent. A cappuccino is 5 euros, which is pricey, but the quality made it worth it. Since we arrived a bit late, their best-selling pastries were already sold out. The two items we chose instead weren't quite to our satisfaction, but I hope to try their signature treats next time. I noticed that about 80% of the customers are tourists, with very few Italian locals. If I have friends visiting from out of town, I would definitely bring them here. However, as a local resident, I probably won't return for myself; you can find equally good coffee and pastries in authentic local cafes for about 70% cheaper. Overall, a great spot for visitors or a special treat!

خمسة نجوم للجودة 👌🏼 انتظرنا ثلث ساعة المكان فيه جلسات خارجية وداخلية طريقتهم غريبة لأن لما دخلنا كان فيه طاولات كثير فاضية ما أعرف ليش يخلون الناس تنتظر يمكن عندهم عدد موظفين قليل !! عندهم قهوة مختصة فعليا و الامريكانو الي طلبنا كان ممتاز ومن أنواع البن المتوفرة الكابتشينو كان بارد جدا وعادي جدا يعطونك منيو للأكل وفيه منيو القهوة على الطاولة بس حسب المتاح الفوكاشيا .. الكيك والحلويات بشكل عام ممتازة ومن ألذ ماذقت بإيطاليا الحقيقة يعتبرون جدا غالين مقارنة بأي مكان دخلته من نفس النوعية بس يستاهل التجربة.

Утром - туристический муравейник, по классике - с очередью от 15 минут. Но тут как повезет. К вечеру наплыв людей спадает и можно зайти в заведение без очереди под солнцем ☀️ В меню есть выбор завтрака, свежей выпечки и десертов. Так же отдельное меню для кофе. В такого рода завтраках не хватает зелени/овощей. Все за такую цену можно было бы подать с клетчаткой. Выбор кофе интересный. Но, как мне показалось, наценка на спешелти завышена. эспрессо за 5€… Очень вкусный тирамису. Крем - отпад. Входит в мой топ 2.

Ich war zweimal hier. Beim ersten Besuch hatte ich einen Cappuccino, der ganz normal war. Einen Matcha Latte habe ich beide Male nachgefragt; beim ersten Mal gab es ihn anscheinend nicht, beim zweiten Mal dann doch, geschmacklich war er aber nur mittelmäßig. Dazu hatte ich einen Möhrenkuchen, der mit 8€ recht teuer war. Insgesamt war es in Ordnung, aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt für mich nicht ganz.

Per degustare uno specialty coffee non potevamo scegliere un posto migliore, dato che a Roma Faro è stato un pioniere in questo campo, distinguendosi non solo per la selezione dei caffè, ma anche per lo studio della mineralità dell’acqua volta ad ottenere l'estrazione ottimale. La scelta è caduta su un Keramo etiope prodotto da Aliena (la torrefazione di Faro), estratto in V60 e accompagnato da un maritozzo con panna. Sono alle prime esperienze con gli specialty coffee, che definirei "caffè da meditazione", un’esperienza diversa dall’espresso di qualità (come un monorigine Jamaica Blue Mountain o un Cuba Serrano) e sideralmente lontana dall’espresso presente nella stragrande maggioranza dei bar italiani. In questo caffè etiope si apprezza una piacevole acidità e un bouquet fruttato e floreale. È un vero piacere sorseggiarlo in tranquillità, lontano dalla fretta della vita quotidiana. L’impasto del maritozzo era una vera e propria nuvola a gravità zero, scioglievole al palato, la panna, montata alla perfezione e vellutata, sembrava forse aromatizzata con della vaniglia. Un’esperienza estremamente piacevole, merito anche della cortesia del personale, sempre sorridente e disponibile. Visto che ci pensavo da tempo, ho colto l’occasione per cimentarmi nell’estrazione domestica acquistando una confezione di Keramo, che prossimamente proverò a preparare con il mio V60. Come è facile immaginare, la qualità si paga: ci troviamo in un locale costoso ma non "caro", come testimoniato dallo scontrino in rapporto all'esperienza offerta. Attenzione perché Luna chiude solitamente alle 16:00; solo il sabato e la domenica l'apertura è prolungata fino alle 19:00.

Ottimo bar per fare colazione nel nostro caso, giovani e disponibili, ci hanno offerto il thè per l'attesa fuori dal bar e in più offrono anche l'acqua a prescindere, maritozzo super anche lo special ottimo, un consiglio dite che all'interno c'è una crema alla gianduia e non una panna alla gianduia, la consistenza era completamente diversa dalla panna, era una crema, non per questo non era buona! L'attesa vale la.colazione 🤪

Posto assolutamente da provare se si ricerca un'attenzione diversa per il prodotto. Miglior cappuccino della mia vita (io scelto con latte di cocco) e sfogliati molto buoni. Non totalmente convinta dell'opzione vegana (un maritozzo con crema gianduia ), impasto un po' secco e il dolce in sé poco soddisfacente. Sicuramente ci sono altre tipologie di dolci che risentono meno dell'assenza di derivati animali, spero che in futuro si possa lavorare maggiormente anche su questa tipologia di prodotti per chi ha uno stile alimentare diverso. Personale preparatissimo e gentile.

Personale gentilissimo e molto accogliente. Ottimo il caffè con la loro miscela. Buono anche il maritozzo e l’uovo strapazzato. Accettano i cagnolini senza problemi. Abbiamo fatto un po di coda ma sono molto organizzati. Da provare!

Sono venuta oggi con delle mie amiche per una colazione. Per entrare a sederci abbiamo dovuto fare un po di fila, ma l'attesa è stata in realtà abbastanza breve. Il personale è davvero molto gentile. Abbiamo assaggiato diversi dolci, tra cui il pain suisse e il pain au chocolat, ed erano tutti davvero buoni. Per quanto riguarda il caffè, offrono diverse varietà. Quella che ho provato mi è piaciuta molto, davvero particolare. I prezzi sono ovviamente più alti di un classico bar, ma secondo me sono in linea sia con la location che con il servizio e la qualità offerti. Lo consiglierei anche solo per provare i dolci take away.

Esperienza pessima! Arrivo davanti a questa “bakery” vedo la fila e mi accodo. Premetto che c’era solo una fila. Dopo 15 minuti che sono in fila vedo gente entrare e capisco che la fila era per i tavoli (nessun cartello che indicasse le file). Entro nel bar e al bancone c’era solo e soltanto una coppia in attesa, mi vedo arrivare un ragazzo dello staff equipaggiato di radiolina e auricolari neanche stesse facendo servizio d’ordine al Vaticano e mi chiede di aspettare fuori. Attendo fuori e noto che dietro di me è iniziata ad arrivare altra gente. Dopo altri 10 minuti di attesa esce il tipo in radiolina e fa passare quello dietro di me. Non gli do peso e continuo ad attendere. Riesce nuovamente e continua a chiamare la gente alle mie spalle al che gli chiedo il perché non mi avesse chiamato e mi risponde che dovevo fare la fila. Infastidito con un gesto di stizza mi giro e vado via e il tipo mi saluta in modo ironico. Disorganizzazione assoluta, personale non all’altezza di un posto che crede di essere l’Opera di Cedric Grolet. Da evitare!!!

In posizione strategica, ottimo per un pasto veloce, un brunch o una ricca colazione. Impostazione europea (più che cornetti e cappuccino, si può gustare dolce e salato spaziando tra molte scelte). Al di là degli specialty cofee, con un'ampia scelta spesso aggiornata, il menù offre toast, piatti a base di uova pochette e il piatto di pasta del giorno. Buona la scelta di dolci al piatto. Non economico ma, vista la qualità della proposta e la posizione centrale, nemmeno esoso. Dispone di un piccolo chiostro interno per riprendere fiato e sentirsi lontani dal caos cittadino per qualche minuto. Consigliato.

LUNA e il mio posto preferito quando faccio colazione a Barberini! Non è solo la location ad essere confortevole, ma il servizio è davvero eccellente, tutti gentilissimi con i clienti! Sicuramente sia il caffè e il cappuccino da loro è di grande qualità. È un posto dove non fai solo la Colazione ma è un esperienza da fare quando ordini sia di colazione dolce e salato ( consiglio a tutti la colazione dolce, e di provare i tipi di caffè e cappuccini), sono buoni anche i loro Maritozzi! È un posto leggermente costo, ma ne vale davvero la pena provare i dolci da loro. Io sicuramente ci andrò spesso e volentieri, perché si mangia davvero bene. Un consiglio, andate mattina presto per fare colazione con tranquillità per non fare la fila!
