We had a very pleasant experience at this restaurant. The pasta was absolutely delicious, the prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. A special thank you to our waitress, Sole, who was very friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. We would be happy to come back and definitely recommend this place to others visiting Rome!

Nothing special but good for Rome standard and location. The calamari as mentioned in other reviews is well done. The pizzas were okay, the diavola was pretty bland and non spicy but my party overall enjoyed their other pizzas and experience. Definitely not the best pizza you'll have but i find you have to lower your expectations when eating in Rome touristic areas.

Great food! But not sure why they would ask for “tips” if the 7% service charge is already added. We paid additional ~10% for tips. It was optional, but I felt awkward when they asked for it!!

Amazing experience at Cantina e Cucina! The calamari was delicious, and the Cacio e Pepe pasta was excellent. I also really appreciated that the food was served hot and fresh. The service was beyond amazing — truly one of the best experiences I’ve had. A special thanks to Karen for being so kind, attentive, and professional throughout the visit. Highly recommended!

Best meal of my trip, I was in a group of five and we were all teenagers and we didn't get treated any differently than a group of five adults, although a table wasn't ready at first they were quick to find one and we were in within 20 minutes. Our waiter was a lovely lady called Karen and she was very accommodating and made us feel welcomed giving excellent recommendations for the deserts, the food itself was excellent where I had the roasted lamb which fell off the bone and melted in my mouth, three people had the pizza which was flavour filled and amazing, and one had the cheese and pepper pasta which she said was very good, overall I can't imagine a better place to go in Rome and would recommend it to anyone

Our food was amazing and the service was top notch. I personally think the server was flirting with louie but thats a tale for the old ages. Overall great food, everything was to our liking and those buns ready for the taking. Thank you for the succulent meal to satisfy our tastebuds on our second to last night in rome.

As long as you get something with a meatball, you are going to be in great shape! They are beef and pork mixed together to make the ultimate meatball! No matter how full you are on meatballs you have to stuff your face with a tiramisu. That is awesome! Amazing cream flavor and delicious cocoa, coffee powder.

One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Rome. The pizza, lasagna, and tiramisu were all absolutely delicious. What really made the evening special was the staff is warm, welcoming, and genuinely fun to be around. Great food and amazing service. I’d happily recommend this place to anyone visiting Rome.

Stopped by recently and had a pretty good experience overall. The food was enjoyable, and there were a few dishes that stood out. Service was fine, though it got a little busy at times. The atmosphere was pleasant and seemed like a nice spot to spend some time. Prices felt reasonable for what you get. Nothing was perfect, but nothing was particularly disappointing either. Would probably come back and try a few other items from the menu

Very rude treatment of guests. We came with our baby sleeping in a stroller and asked the waiter at the entrance if there was a table for us. The same waiter seated us at a table, but a few moments later another waiter came, asked us to move to the back of the restaurant so we would not disturb anyone, and told us to change tables. There were free tables in the restaurant, and the stroller was not blocking or disturbing anyone. The worst part was when he insisted that we fold the stroller while our baby was sleeping in it. He kept arguing and complaining, so we got up and left because no parent wants their child treated like that. What makes this even worse is that we did not just walk in and sit down ourselves, we asked if there was space and were seated by the staff.

The Cacio e pepe and carbonara are amazing. I’ve tried many in many places and this is probably the best I’ve tried in Rome. The one star less is because even though the waiters are very nice they try to sell you more all the time which feels pressuring and annoying. You just need to know to say no.

The female staff member was very upfront and rude. I had been sitting and waiting for a long time, but even when I asked to order, she just told me to wait and kept clearing and setting up other tables—even though there were plenty of empty seats. We ordered the calamari, carbonara, lasagna, meatballs, and a salad, and every dish was excellent. The calamari was perfectly cooked, the carbonara was rich and flavorful, the lasagna was hearty and delicious, the meatballs were tender and full of flavor, and the salad was fresh and well-prepared. A special thank you to our waitress, Sole, who was wonderful. She was very attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome throughout the entire meal. My favorite place we ate in Rome. Carbonara and focaccia bread were the best I’ve had. Above everything else, the young man at the front of the restaurant, Yankee, had an infectious personality and made the dining experience even better. Incredible food and service.

Good vibes, perfectly fine but not amazing food, but incredibly unacceptable service. Unfortunately waited a long time to be seen. The reason was totally understandable: the waiter who served my area wasn’t the one who actually sat me, so I’m sure there was just a bit of a communication breakdown. Tried flagging down a few times and got no luck, so just decided to go up and say that I was ready to order whenever the staff had a moment. Big mistake! The waiter eventually came and said NOTHING. Just entered the order into his machine and walked away when I finished ordering. Continued to ignore me the whole time. Really embarrassing especially for a restaurant that charges 7% on your order. Try going to a restaurant that doesn’t take itself so seriously!

There were 2 lines which was confusing. One for 2 or less people and the other for 3+ people. Spent about 5 minutes in the wrong line before hostess said anything. Once inside service was pretty quick. Good was great. The tiramisu is the best I’ve EVER had, including other places in Rome. Would definitely go back.

maximum density; not mind-blowing, but still satisfying with its thick pasta and cripsy bacon bits, the carbonara definitely leans saltier, though it comes together as a heavy savoury-cheesy dish. its a small shop with a vintage vibe too, making for a nice pit stop mid-shopping.

Great food and atmosphere, the service was even better. Karen is an absolute delight - very tentative and friendly. I spent 1.5 hrs there dining alone but it didn't feel like I was there for that long at all. Recommend getting there at around 7pm to avoid long wait. Would definitely go again.

Best food so far in last days in Rome! Friendly and warm staff but busy so expect a distraction of your serving staff. Food was AMAZING! Prosecco was served for folks waiting in the queue which is very kind and respectful of them! The lady who served was lovely! The staff does go an extra to make you feel welcomed! 2nd trip 🤩😉 Without looking at the menu this time and no queue give it’s was Monday afternoon lunch time which was bizarre and great at the same time time! Absolutely LOVE this place!! Definitely give this a go!

[PL] - byłem, polecam z całego serca. Bardzo miłe powitanie z kieliszkiem Prosecco. Jedzenie wyborne. Obsługa była na każdą prośbę tuż obok nas. Jedliśmy pizzę Capricciosa oraz Rustica - przepyszne. To tutaj w Rzymie dowiedzieliśmy się że Capricciosa to nie tylko szynka, pieczarki i ser mozzarella ale też jajko i karczochy! Do zobaczenia :) Polecamy! [IT] - Ci sono stato, lo consiglio vivamente. Accoglienza molto cordiale con un bicchiere di Prosecco. Cibo squisito. Il personale era sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni nostra richiesta. Abbiamo mangiato la pizza Capricciosa e la Rustica: deliziose. È qui a Roma che abbiamo scoperto che la Capricciosa non è solo prosciutto, funghi e mozzarella, ma anche uova e carciofi! Comimos una pasta y una pizza, la pasta cacio e pepe muy rica. La pizza muy rica pero corta en albahaca. Pedimos un apperol que no estaba bueno y lo dejamos, vimos además como en la mesa de al lado que tampoco se bebieron los dos que tenían no se lo cobraron, pero a nosotros sí. 특정 여성 직원으로부터 받은 믿을 수 없을 정도로 무례한 대우는 우리의 전체 경험을 완전히 망쳐놓았습니다. 곱슬머리에 머리를 묶은 여성 웨이트리스가 우리 테이블을 담당했습니다. 우리는 오기 전에 무엇을 주문할지 이미 결정했기 때문에 그녀의 메뉴 추천을 정중히 거절했습니다. 그 순간부터 그녀의 태도는 눈에 띄게 변했습니다. 가장 최악이었던 부분은 내가 화장실에서 손을 씻고 있을 때였습니다. 그녀는 갑자기 문을 벌컥 열고 들어오더니 내 바로 옆에 쓰레기통을 큰소리가 나게 밀었어요. 너무 소리가 크고 공격적이어서 내 옆에서 손을 씻던 다른 백인 남성 손님과 나는 완전히 믿을 수 없다는 듯 서로를 쳐다보았습니다. 계산할 때조차 그녀는 우리를 불필요하게 오래 기다리게 만들었고 한 손으로 영수증을 던지듯 건냈어요. 그녀의 무례한 행동은 식사 경험 전체를 망쳤습니다. 설상가상으로 나중에 청구서를 확인했을 때이 최악의 대접에 대해 7%의 서비스 요금을 청구했습니다. 구글 후기 보니까 멋대로 추가하고 고객 요청시 빼준다고 하네요.^^ 아시아인들에게 절대 추천하고 싶지 않은 곳 이에요.

Comida muy buena, de las mejores carbonaras que he probado, el tiramisú demasiado líquido, los hay mucho mejores y más baratos. La atención muy regular, la camarera tardo más tiempo en ponernos problemas para pedir al no hablar nosotros ni inglés ni italiano, que en tomar la comanda de que lo pedimos, que si dos quieren se entienden perfectamente y más con una carta escrita.

O restaurante fica perto da Piazza Navona, é apertado e, por sua excelência, fica cheio. Por sorte, não tive que esperar muito para entrar. O atendimento é muito bom - e olhe que o pessoal tem de correr para atender tanta gente. A comida não é nota máxima, mas é muito boa. Preços adequados ao mercado. Um bom resumo seria: é um restaurante em que eu voltaria com prazer.

점심시간에 갔는데 1시간 가량 기다렸어요. 그만큼 현지인들에게 인기있는 식당! 마르게리따 피자, 포모도로, 계란 소스의 소고기 요리(이름 모름)를 주문했는데 모두 너무 맛있었어요. 피자는 도우가 매우 얇아서 부담 스럽지 않고 맛도 다른 유명 피자집에 뒤지지 않을 만큼 훌륭합니다. 가격도 맛집으로서 괜찮습니다.

Cantina e Cucina este genul de loc unde înțelegi de ce oamenii stau la coadă. Am așteptat aproximativ 20 de minute pentru masă, dar a meritat total. Pastele și pizza au fost excelente, însă adevărata diferență o face echipa — Monica, Ludovic și Yankee au fost extraordinari: calzi, energici și foarte atenți cu clienții, chiar și când restaurantul era plin. Atmosferă autentic italiană și servicii care te fac să vrei să revii. 👏🍝🇮🇹
