Bar La Licata was one of our favorite breakfast spots in Rome. We ended up going every day during our trip because we loved it that much. The espressos and pastries were amazing, and everything we tried was fresh and delicious. The service was friendly every time, and the location near the Colosseum makes it a perfect spot to start the day. Great atmosphere, great coffee, and consistently excellent breakfast. Highly recommend!

Had the avocado breakfast and it was one of the best options for breakfast that I had in Rome. Loved it. The quantity, quality, great. The service was so good too. Everyone from the staff was welcomy and warm. The corneto and capuccino was delicious too.

Rating-inflated place in a tourist spot. The view is nice, the staff is friendly. The food isn’t bad, just doesn’t match with this high rating. It took a while for our food to come, and they forgot my orange juice which we reminded them. They open the restrooms to general public, which is good intention, but not a pleasant experience for customers, since you have to wait in line for a long time to go to the restroom. Not recommended.

The line for the bathroom was incredibly long because they let the general public come in just to use the restrooms, line even going on the street, which also meant there was no way to even wash our hands (no sanitizer offers). On top of that, the waitress didn't bother to offer us any water while we were waiting or throughout the service. Plates are waiting on a counter for a while when people (take away customers) are ordering amd speaking over your food, disgusting!! -> SANITY ISSUE! Pancakes were cold and replaced. Definitely won't be coming back, there are plenty of other places in Rome less crowded and with same/better quality of food! PS: had to remove the pictures as the restaurant didn’t want to show that food is waiting on counter with take away customers speaking over it!

Wow!! Just Wow!! Everything about this restaurant is excellent!! From the phenomenal service (your servers are the VERY best, fast, attentive, and funny!!), to the food (absolutely delicious with great portions) and to the view (you can look at the Colloseum from the outdoor seatings). La Licata is definitely one of the most memorable moments of our visit to Rome.

Coffee is decent but overpriced. The pastries were horrible, tried a sfoggliatella and a romana, both were creepily stale. Almost chopped a tooth trying to bit the sfoggliatella. I came at 1pm there’s no way these were from this morning. Horrible and too overpriced. Edit: I am one hundred percent certain this is the correct cafe, don’t insult my intelligence. Instead of arguing with the people that are the reason behind your income, accept constructive criticism and ensure your employees are maintaining the standard you demand for your business.

One of the nicest parts of our visit to Rome. Friendly, rapid service, yummy food, extensive selection, freshly prepared, busy with locals and tourists alike. A refreshing breath of fresh air in a city teeming with places that prey and devour tourists with mediocre food and obscene prices. If I lived in the area, I would be a devoted regular. Thank you for restoring my faith in Roma . Hopefully it will always remain as such, as I look forward to returning.

Probably the best cafe in Rome, great pastries, sandwiches and coffee. It does get rather busy so if you don’t get a table just takeaway and sit at the fountain next door or better still walk 10min to the colosseum!

a bit stiffer than the sauce could support; the service and pricing are great, but the pasta was rather stiff, with the sauce lacking oomph to carry it. appreciate the self-serve parmesan, though it couldn't fully bring out the rich-cheesiness and fatty-peppery depth i've had elsewhere; not bad, just not one i'd think about again i fear 😔

La Licata was one of those discoveries that end up completely transforming your travel experience. We arrived looking for a different breakfast option, after several days of rather limited breakfasts at the hotel, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the best decisions of our stay in Rome. The place has tons of options for a real breakfast or brunch, not just coffee and a quick sweet treat. There are full meals that include sandwiches, pancakes, coffee, fruit, and vegetables—something I personally appreciated so much after several days of heavier or repetitive breakfasts. Plus, the variety of breads, pastries, baked goods, and desserts makes it hard to choose just one thing. You can tell they put a lot of care into both the menu and the quality of the ingredients. We sat outside with my family, and it was a lovely moment because from there we could enjoy the hustle and bustle of Rome while having a leisurely breakfast. The location is also perfect if you’re exploring the Colosseum area. Another aspect that really stood out was the service. The entire staff was very friendly, attentive to detail, and had that warmth that makes you want to stay longer than planned. It’s one of those places you stumble upon almost by chance and then end up genuinely recommending. If you’re looking for a hearty, delicious breakfast with a variety of options in Rome, it’s definitely worth stopping by here.

We had an Avocado Breakfast and Fruit Bowl and it was for sure an interpretation. If you like avocado smoothies, perhaps you’ll like this too, as it will be on your toast beneath the egg and actual slices of avocado. The fruit and “yogurt” bowl will come with a flavored store-packaged kefir bottle that you will pour into your dry oats, nuts and fruits. Lackluster overall meal. Wish the yogurt was real and the avocado was just slices, without the slush. The cappuccino was delicious. The orange juice was freshly squeezed. Overall good for presentation not for consumption for the price.

The breakfast was so nicely presented and delicious. The avocado was so fresh. Everything was so fresh. I’m not normally an orange juice person, but the orange juice was also so fresh and delicious. If all orange juice was like this, then it’d be one of my favorite drinks! I also liked my hot chocolate. We ate outside on the patio area. We waited about 5 minutes for a table. Easier to get a table as a pair, versus as 3-4 person group. There was a consistent lineup, but they move quickly! Recommend if you’re looking for a nice breakfast spot!

We first found this cafe 2 years ago and were thrilled to find our way back this trip. Since our last trip our daughter was diagnosed with Celiac disease. The fantastic range of gluten free options was amazing and so very tasty. The staff could not have been more helpful with options and adding little extra touches. Prices are fantastic for what you get on the all inclusive breakfasts! We highly recommend this cafe to anyone but especially anyone looking for gluten free options!

La Licata in Rome was such a brilliant find 🤍 I got an espresso martini and a sandwich for around €15 total, which is honestly incredible value — especially for Rome. The sandwich was HUGE and absolutely to die for, genuinely one of the nicest I’ve had. The espresso martini was fab as well, and they even gave some crisps on the side which was a lovely touch. Amazing quality, really generous portions, and such good value for money — I’d go back in a heartbeat ✨

BEST BREAKFAST IN ROME ! Bacon & Eggs is not a popular breakfast option served in Italian cafes. My wife and I arrived in Rome late on Sunday, Sept 24th after a relaxing 4 day stay in beautiful Salerno. WE GOT LUCKY ! In fact our apartment was in Monti...a stone's throw from the Colosseum. EVEN BETTER ! On Sunday evening my wife looked up local cafes for our breakfast the next morning and La Licata came up trumps with bacon & eggs on their impressive menu. On Monday morning we were up and at 'em bright and early. We walked a short distance to the end of our cobblestone alley and arrived here about 7.45am. The cafe was already quite busy with Italians and tourists like us....a very good sign. In typical Italian fashion they had a virtual smorgasbord of delectable pastries in their display cabinets plus some delicious looking panino sandwiches. FULL TABLE SERVICE ! We nabbed a table in a quiet corner and waited for a server to take our brekkie order. Some customers preferred to drink their coffees standing at the service counter. Within a short time a charming server named Elena came by to help us. We ordered 2 x Double Shot Cappuccinos, 2 x Scrambled Eggs & Bacon and 1 x Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice. We also asked for glasses of water...not sparkling. MENU ! The owners of this cafe knew a thing or two about how to attract American / English speaking tourists...their menu board at the entrance and table menus even had a special section titled AMERICANA / AMERICAN BREAKFAST. And many dishes on their menu were described in English & Italian. WHAM BAM ! Elena brought our double shot cappuccinos to us in a few short minutes. Not our typical American 12 oz cups...probably about 8 oz but they sure tasted great. NEXT UP ! Elena brought out our bacon & eggs dishes....first time we've had bacon & eggs on our vacation. And then my fresh squeezed orange juice arrived...it tasted great. Our bacon & eggs tasted pretty good but we both had an issue with the typical super crunchy Italian toast. GREAT SERVICE ! I mentioned this to Elena and she returned within a couple of minutes with a plate of soft white toast. By the time we paid the bill at the cashier counter at 8.45am the cafe was overflowing inside and packed out on the sidewalk patio. We totally enjoyed our American style breakfast...in fact this was our breakfast spot during our 4 days in Rome. TOP BREKKIE PLACE !

Bar conseillé par l'hôte de notre logement situé dans la même rue au 97. Eh bien waouh, la fraicheur des petits dejeunés, bien présenté et copieux.Tout est frais. Service rapide. Nous sommes restés 3 jours à Rome et avons pris le petit-dej 3 fois ici, jamais déçus. Formule energie : oeufs brouillés, salade, viennoiserie, yaourt, pain+confiture, boisson chaude , vrai jus d'orange pressé, salade de fruit frais. les photos parlent d'elles même. Les clients font la queue à partir de 9h le matin : je comprends. Bravo à tout l'équipe. Notre adresse à Rome!!!!!!!

숙소 근처에 있는 가게였는데, 줄이 끊임이 없길래 어떤 가게인가 너무 궁금했어요~! 다음 날 가족들과 함께 간식으로 먹을 크롸상을 몇 개 포장했는데 가족 모두 정말 맛있게 먹었습니다. 다른 브런치 메뉴들도 너무 맛있게 보여서 가족들과 한번 오고 싶었는데 일정이 안 돼서 못 먹어보고 온게 아쉬웠어요! 그리고 다른 날에는 오후에 갔더니 크롸상 종류는 없더라고요 ㅠㅠ 가격도 너무 저렴하고 직원분들도 친절하시고 무엇보다도 맛있고, 가게 분위기도 활기찼어요! 콜로세움 방문하시기 전에 여기서 혈당 채우고 가시는 것을 추천합니다~(오후에는 원하는 것을 맛보지 못할 수 있어요!) 참고 : 줄 서 있는 분들은 매장식사를 원하시는 분들이니 포장하실 분들은 가게에 바로 입장하셔도 돼요~(바에서 드실 분들도 바로 입장 가능할 것 같아요.)

Yemeklerin lezzeti iyi. İçecekler de güzel. Servis biraz güleryüzlü olsa daha iyi hissettirir. Sıcak havada biraz havasız ve sıcak kalıyor içerisi buna bir çözüm bulunabilirse iyi olur.

Ιδανικό μέρος για πρωινό και καφέ στο κέντρο, δίπλα στο σταθμό cavour. Πολύ νόστιμες επιλογές, τόσο σε αλμυρά όσο και σε γλυκά. Πολύ νόστιμα κρουασάν. Ιδανικό και για vegan επιλογές. Υπάρχει αναμονή τις περισσότερες φορές, αλλά το προσωπικό διαχειρίζεται καλά τον κόσμο που είναι στην ουρά.
