Horrible experience. We were there for 2:20 hours and did not get our food. The service was extremely slow and not once they came to check in on us. Bottle of water? 20 minutes. Appetizers? 1:20 hours. Incredibly hot inside. Not once they were able to provide a timeline or check in on us. I like long dinners, but being there for over 2 hours and not getting our food despite the simplicity of the dishes speaks for itself. Other tables were able leaving early because the lack of service.

Had a great experience at Derrière. We came as a group of 9 and reserved in advance — everything was smooth and well organized. The lunch offer is excellent: you can choose a starter + main for €26, which is a very good value for the quality. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. A really enjoyable spot for a group lunch — would definitely come back.

I had lunch here today and overall it was a mixed experience. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the food was genuinely very good — well presented and enjoyable. At the beginning, the service was also warm and welcoming. However, things changed during the meal. We ordered the lunch menu (main course and dessert) and chose not to have any drinks or coffee. When we declined coffee, the waitress responded with “ok, superbe” in what felt like a sarcastic tone, which was quite surprising and uncomfortable. I understand that restaurants often encourage additional orders, but this reaction felt inappropriate. Later, when it was time to pay, my friend and I asked to split the bill. We only had a €50 note in cash (I recently lost my bank card, so cash was my only option), and one card between us. The waitress insisted that one person should pay everything by card, which we declined, as we believe customers should be able to choose their method of payment. Eventually, she accepted separate payment, but returned €24 entirely in coins. While it’s possible the restaurant didn’t have larger notes available, the way it was done — combined with her attitude — left us feeling quite uncomfortable. In summary, the food and setting are worth it, but the service we experienced was disappointing and affected our overall impression.

The atmosphere was great and we had a really nice start to the evening. We sat outside and it felt like a fun night out with friends. Unfortunately, things took a strange turn after we got home. One of my friends started vomiting later that night. Two days later, I experienced the same symptoms along with severe diarrhea and ended up being admitted to the hospital. Our third friend even vomited on the plane while traveling shortly after. During the meal we shared oysters, snails, and pâté, so it's hard to know exactly what caused it, but the experience left us very concerned about the food safety. While the ambiance was enjoyable, something clearly wasn’t right with the food we had that night. Overall, it was a very unsettling experience and not what we expected after what seemed like a pleasant dinner.

We loved the atmosphere and decor - everything was so eclectic and cool. And the food was amazing too. I had a delicious truffle beef stew with rice. I originally thought I didn’t like the taste of truffle but this dish changed my mind. It was one of my favorite meals in Paris. My husband had a steak with a duck foie gras sauce. Delicious. And my favorite dessert in Paris was here. It was this chestnut cream with a black currant sorbet in the middle. It was divine and perfectly light and refreshing for after dinner.

We had a disappointing experience when we first arrived. My friend and I checked online beforehand and saw that multiple time slots were available, so we decided to walk in. When we arrived, a blonde middle-aged lady staff member asked if we had a reservation. After we said no, she sighed LOUDLY and checked the system, then told us there were no tables available and turned us away. Since we knew reservations were available online, we made one immediately and returned about five minutes later. When we showed our reservation, she seemed surprised and said “impossible” to her coworkers. After checking again, she was suddenly able to seat us. Me and my friend are both foreigners and women of colour, this interaction made us feel unwelcome.. especially in a space of mostly white french people. We were told the only available option was a very small table upstairs and that we could decide whether we wanted to stay. The table we were given was extremely small, despite many other tables appearing empty throughout our dinner at this restaurant. Additionally, they got one of our orders wrong. I do want to note that the other staff members were polite and treated us kindly, which we appreciated. However, the initial interaction left us feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable, and the experience could have been handled much more professionally.

Mixed feelings about this place after a very uneven evening. Atmosphere is nice and lively, very Hamburg kitsch complete with table tennis in the centre of the resto. Service friendly and personal. Food was a mixed bag though. For starters we had carrots (!) escargot and scallops. Weird mix by our design but scallops were good and carrots also very passable. Main dishes were steak of veal (ordered bloody, arrived well cooked) , cod with mushrooms, a complete misfire and a decent sea bass. We started with good cocktails and shifted to a Pinot given the range of dishes. Sommelier opened 3 different bottles from gislain khodut that were even more acidic/ sour than normal, then we gave him up and stuck with the last attempt. It was a 2023 bottle so no wonder it was still very harsh. All in all a bumpy ride I wouldn't repeat

What a quirky place ! ❤️ The location in / next to Le Marais is really perfect, it’s in a courtyard of a former home and what’s so fun is that they’ve largely kept the home in tact, as in you eat on a couch or a bed or the ping pong table, it’s a very original design concept. It has its own little speakeasy as well behind the wardrobe (any The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe fans out there?) and the art and deco details make you feel like you’re stepping back in time. We had the full menu and 3 drinks each and spent 100€ each which I’d say is typical for the area (and worth it). The server was attentive and responsive and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend 🤘

Very disappointing. Unfortunately it ruined a very special life time trip and event. We had booked our special celebration one month prior, knowing we would be traveling to Paris for this special event. All the recommendations were excellent, we were so excited and looking forward to dining here. The moment we arrived we were asked to wait to be seated, so they could organize our table which at first was also disappointing, I mentioned that we were booked for a special birthday dinner and not for dronks so they seated as at another normal sized table, again very small. But we soldiered on. We ordered quickly, and our cocktails arrived, very nice suggestion by Maya, shortly after our wines arrived that were to accompany our meals, again, very good suggestion by Maya. Our first starter dish arrived a little late, which was surprising seeing as it was a cold dish, very tasty, 100% enjoyed it. From that point on, nothing. No more food was served to us, but all the other tables were going through their courses very nicely and at a steady pace. An hour an a half later still no food. During this time we got to know our server Maya, (french-indian young lady) who all though it was not her fault, kept apologizing to us for the delay as though it was. In the end our patience wore thin and we asked for the bill for what we had had, and left. On our way out I had to mention to the management how disappointing our experience was and that my husband's birthday celebration was ruined. He's a better person and just wanted to leave, I'm not. There's nothing worse than seeing your better half disappointed and not being in a position to do something about it and through no fault of your own. Maybe it was a bad night for the restaurant, I get these things happen, but if such good service was provided to others, then it should have been provided to us as well. Sometimes you don't get second chances to impress, and for a restaurant with such distinction it certainly won't get one from us.

A stunning restaurant — elegant, atmospheric, and full of Parisian charm. Unfortunately, that charm also came with a very authentic Ratatouille experience. While dining, we were treated to the sight of mice confidently roaming the restaurant and heading straight to the kitchen. At first we thought it was a themed experience — perhaps a tribute to French cinema? We appreciate Parisian charm, but animated chefs belong on screen, not under the tables. It’s a shame, because the restaurant itself is genuinely beautiful. Remove the mice, keep the décor! Until then, this felt less like fine dining and more like a very dark remake of Ratatouille.

I’ll give them this : the restaurant is creative, fun, and perfect for a night out with friends. The vibe is great and we took some fun pictures. However… the food was honestly disappointing. The risotto was something anyone could have cooked much better at home, and let’s not even start on the price. When you offer only four main courses on the menu, each dish should be flawless, and most importantly, mastered, which wasn't the case here. Shoutout to our waiter, though, who was incredibly friendly and made the experience more pleasant. The whole team was lovely. But for a restaurant, there needs to be real cuisine behind the concept. Creativity is great, but execution matters.

This is a really nice restaurant, with a special atmosphere and great food. We really enjoyed being here. The place may be a bit noisy for some people and the prices are not cheap. But the staff helped us very much in finding the right dishes and when we asked for a recommendation for a whine, they chose a very good one, which was indeed the cheapest in the menue. After all, it is really a great restaurant and dont miss to go upstairs and discover the secret room and other things :)

Vine recomendado por una influencer española, hemos pedido bacalao, caracol, solomillo y solomillo joven (parecía suela de zapato), lo único aceptable era el bacalao, sinceramente no sé como han podido llegar a tantas reseñas buenas. A lo mejor he venido en un momento no adecuado o el cocinero estaría de vacas, pero por este precio, si en España me hubieran puesto estos platos, incluso habría pensado pedido la hoja de reclamaciones!

Estábamos en una mesa de 4, pequeña para poder cenar correctamente. Sacaron todos los platos a la vez y no teníamos espacio para comer tranquilo. En varias ocasiones tuvimos que pedir repetidamente varias cosas como el pan, el agua y la bebida. En definitiva estaba muy overprice para el servicio y la comida que ofrecen.

Fuimos a cenar cuatro personas y la experiencia no estuvo a la altura de los precios que cobran. La mesa era demasiado pequeña para cuatro comensales y, aun así, trajeron todos los platos a la vez, por lo que apenas teníamos espacio. De hecho, el camarero tuvo que dejar algunos platos colocados de forma incómoda para que todo pudiera caber en la mesa. El servicio tampoco fue especialmente amable ni atento, lo que hizo que la experiencia resultara aún menos agradable. En cuanto a la comida, estaba correcta y algunos platos estaban bien, pero nada que justificara el precio tan elevado que pagamos. En general, la sensación es que la relación calidad-precio no compensa, especialmente teniendo en cuenta la falta de comodidad y el servicio recibido.

Une soirée suave ! Le service est aux petits oignons, le chef de rang délicieusement charismatique, l’équipe chaleureuse presque familiale. En entrée, le poireau était à tomber. Les plats étaient bons. Je vous déconseille toutefois les pommes gaufrettes, trop grasse et pas assez salées. Enfin, l’équipe a gentiment accepté de nous servir des affogati, qui n’étaient pas à la carte, et pourtant, excellents. Même les clients étaient agréables et participaient à une superbe ambiance. Deux étoiles, uniquement pour l’extrême gentillesse du personnel, qui a été irréprochable du début à la fin. Malheureusement, cela n’a pas suffi à compenser une expérience de brunch dominical profondément décevante. Dès l’arrivée, une première impression dérangeante : le lieu était étonnamment sale pour un établissement où l’on vient manger. Des odeurs peu agréables flottaient dans l’air, ce qui n’invite ni à la détente ni à l’appétit. Cette impression s’est confirmée rapidement : deux assiettes sur deux étaient sales, mal lavées, tout comme deux tasses sur deux. Ce type de détail n’en est pas un ; il s’agit de l’essentiel. Le café était annoncé à volonté, mais il fallait , demander de le remplacer à chaque fois une fois terminée. Aucune bouteille d’eau n’a été apportée à table. Pour un brunch à ce tarif, ces attentions devraient être évidentes. Le buffet, quant à lui, n’était absolument pas à la hauteur du prix demandé : pauvre, peu varié, avec des produits qui semblaient basiques et sans réelle qualité. L’avocado toast est arrivé très froid, avec un pain dont l’odeur n’inspirait pas la fraîcheur. Quant à la crème d’avocat, elle semblait diluée, sans goût, au point de se demander si l’avocat était réellement présent. L’œuf, lui, était manifestement industriel le goût ne laissait aucun doute. C’est d’autant plus regrettable qu’il ne s’agissait que d’un seul œuf : utiliser un produit biologique aurait été un geste simple, mais significatif. C’est d’autant plus dommage que l’établissement se présente très bien : menus élégants, ambiance visuelle soignée, promesse séduisante. Il suffirait de quelques attentions supplémentaires et d’un réel souci de qualité pour transformer l’expérience. Nous avons exprimé notre déception concernant le buffet, et le personnel, toujours très aimable, nous a offert trois mimosas. Une attention appréciable, certes, mais nous étions quatre.

Les beaux jours de ce restaurant sont malheureusement terminés depuis un bon moment. Malheureusement, la qualité a fortement baissé. Je déconseille vivement le brunch du dimanche, qui est devenu une sorte de cantine de bas niveau. Le seul ingrédient un peu plus qualitatif est le saumon, mais pour le reste, il s’agit de nourriture très économique, présentée dans des bacs peu appétissants, avec une qualité que l’on n’accepterait probablement même pas chez soi. Par ailleurs, les critères d’hygiène devraient être sérieusement revus. La sensation générale est un manque de soin et d’attention assez préoccupant.

Uno dei locali più belli in cui sia mai stato a Parigi: Derrière è un’esperienza a tutto tondo. L’ambiente è semplicemente stupendo, con un’atmosfera unica e super vivace: tutti sorridono, tutti si divertono, e si respira proprio una bella energia. Eravamo seduti in un tavolino accanto al banco bar, quindi un po’ di movimento (e qualche schizzo volante durante lo shaking 🍸) c’era, ma niente di fastidioso—anzi, contribuisce al mood. Servizio molto attento e piacevole, anche se un po’ lento tra antipasti e piatti principali. Cucina nel complesso molto buona: piatti curati e gustosi. Unica nota meno convincente le capesante con mela e sedano rapa, che risultavano troppo dolci—quasi più da dessert che da portata salata. Nonostante questo, l’esperienza è stata incredibile. Un posto dove tornerei senza pensarci due volte.

Ça aurait pu être 5 étoiles mais… Le lieu est top, les plats sont bons, le service à table très bien et les prix raisonnables, mais au moment de payer… Je suis la troisième de notre tablée, sans me regarder, la personne me tend le TPE sans m’annoncer le montant, je paye après avoir vu le prix sur l’écran, il ne me regarde toujours pas, pas un merci, pas un au revoir. Une touche finale qui gâche toute l’expérience client malheureusement.

Nous avons vu une souris sur le mur de la salle du restaurant à 20 cm de ma tête pendant que je mangeais. Les personnes qui dinaient autour etaient tétanisées (moi aussi). Le couple d'americains derriere nous est parti directement. Le serveur n'a pas eu l'ai particulièrement embete : "on sait et on gère". Je n'ai meme pas eu de reduction ni de geste commercial. A part ca, les plats n'etaient pas extraordinaires et ne méritaient pas une telle addition (55 euros pour 1 plat, un dessert et un verre de vin... et une souris!).

Expérience mitigée dans cet établissement situé dans une arrière-cour du Marais. L’accueil est chaleureux, le personnel professionnel et attentionné tout au long du dîner. Le cadre atypique est le véritable atout de ce restaurant : on a l’impression d’être invité dans une grande maison conviviale à la décoration éclectique. La carte est assez courte, classique d’une brasserie et plutôt alléchante. J’ai opté pour le paté Marguerite au foie gras, la blanquette de veau truffée et la tarte au chocolat en dessert. C’est au moment de la dégustation que l’on déchante : les plats sont simplistes, manquent de saveur et de finesse. La cuisine n’est clairement pas à la hauteur des tarifs pratiqués.

Μεγάλη απογοήτευση,είχαμε κλείσει τραπέζι ένα μήνα πριν για επέτειο γενεθλίων και καταλήξαμε να φύγουμε χωρίς να έχουμε φάει . Φύγαμε μετά από 1 1/2 ώρα που δεν μας είχαν φέρει τα πιάτα που παραγγείλαμε Εκτός από την σερβιτόρα που μας εξυπηρέτησε (Maya )όλα τα άλλα ήταν χάλια Ελπίζω να είστε ποιο τυχεροί αν το επισκεφτείτε

Nell’ambiente ma poca scelta sul menu , calice di vino portato al tavolo caldo e senza aver fatto riferimento al prezzo , pochissimi piatti sul menu e abbastanza grassi , bell’ambiente ma per il cibo non tornerei e per i prezzi neanche

Le restaurant est caché. Au fond d’une cour on arrive sur la terrasse au milieu de la cour. À l’intérieur la décoration est intemporel avec des couleurs très feutrer et mur en pierre. Il a une table de ping pong, une cuisine ouverte, au premier une salle plus intimiste avec un lit, et le fumoir caché derrière une armoire, baby foot, canapé et club par contre il fait juste trop froid à l’intérieur car très mal isolé et l’extraction quasi inexistant. La carte est très appétissante on a du mal à faire son choix. La salade de homard trop acidulée, le pamplemousse donnait un goût de fraîcheur mais le seul goût qui restait en bouche. La tartare de bœuf, coupé au couteau rare en général coupé en machine posé sur un lit d’avocat mais très très fade limite sans goût dommage car la qualité de la viande était la. La salade d’accompagnement pareil hyper acide et les frites froides. La blanquette servie dans des petits caquelon, manquait de saveur malgré la truffe. Le quasi de veau pareil fade mais bonne qualité. Le serveur a été très agréable et avenant, tout au long du service.

Quel bel acceuil dans cet endroit insolite au décor soigné. Le cuisine est fine aux milles saveur. J'ai une souvenir gravé du foie et de sa cuisson a perfection. De loin le meilleur que je n'ai jamais dégusté. A très vite

Nous avons passé un très bon moment chez Derrière avec mon copain. L’accueil est chaleureux et les serveurs sont vraiment très sympathiques, ce qui fait toujours plaisir et contribue beaucoup à l’expérience. La carte est variée, de saison et très alléchante, avec de belles idées. Le cadre est également un vrai point fort du restaurant : le décor est soigné et original, du fumoir aux toilettes en passant par l’étage, chaque espace a son charme. En revanche, petit bémol sur les quantités, que nous avons trouvées assez modestes. C’est un peu dommage, surtout au regard des prix, car cela donne l’impression que la générosité des plats passe après l’expérience globale. Une très belle adresse pour l’ambiance et le concept, mais qui gagnerait à proposer des assiettes un peu plus généreuses pour être totalement à la hauteur.

Vieille bâtisse atypique, pleine de charme, chaleureuse et conviviale à la fois. Une équipe attentionnée, et une service au petit soin. Une responsable aimable, chaleureuse, et une serveuse adorable ( merci Wendy!). Une carte pas trop fournie mais juste comme il faut. Et le repas, de l’entrée au dessert a été excellent. J ai adoré la soupe de topinambours avec son œuf poché, et les œufs à la neige : simple et savoureux! Une superbe expérience, dans lieu qui mérite une visite approfondie ( je vous conseille de passer faire un petit tour à l’étage!) Une belle expérience a renouveler….

Lieu atypique, à la fois convivial et chic. Un service attentionné, un repas savoureux et une véritable explosion de saveurs ! La carte, bien que réduite, reste parfaitement équilibrée et saura satisfaire tous les goûts. Une belle expérience, alliant élégance, gourmandise et convivialité.
