Thoes people(who circled me) try to rob you.". .. So far, I think Naples, especially Naples train station region is very unsafe.

08/07/2025I can say that the 2nd day is a lucky day for me At least I get the train without delay but on my 1st day at the station I waited so long and the train got cancelled which was hurt me a lot because I m not able to reach piso but I try agen next day with full of my effort and I make it and the 2nd day was so lucky for me which I cannot express in a words but I'm so happy that I can get a train ride and seen the piso towar which is my dream

24/06/2025Efficiently run. Best to buy tickets on your phone as the line may be long and people taking time to buy tickets and don't know how to work the ticket machine. There are regular and high speed trains to just about everywhere in Italy. Lots of food options but nothng I was impressed with. Make sure you urinate on the train otherwise train station charge €2.50 to use the bathroom and they stink to high heavens. There is a luggage deposit inside the train station if you want to leave big luggage and go on a day trip somewhere. Outside the train station there is a lot graffiti. Everything is great except the bathroom situation.

21/06/2025Taxi took advantage of us today. Shame on us for not asking for the price ahead of getting in the taxi, but we were exhausted by our journey and just wanted to get to our destination. Had a bad surprise at the end. Naples does itself a huge disservice by treating visitors this way--short term gain but a massive long term loss as we will never come back, and we will advise our friends and family to skip Naples on their journeys to Italy.

20/06/2025If you need to get on or off a train, this is the plane for you. Much much better for access to trains than the alternatives.

15/06/2025I just spent 200€ on train tickets but i still need to pay for the restrooms. For being one of the entrances to the city it couldn't get much dirtier. The stations is surrounded by trash, homeless encampments, and urine filled bottles. To get an uber or private car you'll need to wait in this very sketchy corner that's takes the drivers forever to get to. These pictures are where you have to wait. The entire surrounding area looks like that. If able to, walk across the street when you come out of the station, there's an awning structure that stretches for about a block. Trying getting picked up there instead. There plenty of pedestrian traffic and visibility and it's a slightly better area.
