12/05/2026Does a job, location for transport links is perfect (albeit this part of town isn’t messy/run down but this isn’t the hotels fault). Good option if you are looking to explore Campania for cheaper than staying on the coast. Rooms have AC, TV and good shower with a solid breakfast every morning. Value for money.

04/05/2026Just returned from a 4 night stay at Grand Hotel Europa. Having read reviews before we arrived I was a little concerned about comments on the area, these were unfounded, Yes it isn't the smartest area of Naples but didn't see any crime or anything to be concerned over. The Hotel is well placed for transport Links, the station is 5 minutes away with Metro stations which were easy to use, as was the Allibus form the airport 5 Euro and Frequent. The Hotel is fine, the staff were attentive and helpful, on arrival our Toilet had an issue and our safe would not lock, these issues were dealt with in minutes. Luca on Reception was excellent very professional and helpful. Davide in the bar and restaurant was fantastic gave assistance on menu choices and wine truly excellent. The Hotel room was serviced and cleaned daily so no issues. Food prices were ok as was the bar. I would stay here again if we decided to come back to Naples.

14/04/2026The rook wasn’t as expected- there was not drinking water and poor quality hand soap was the same founded in the shower. The smell of old pipes in the toilette was unbearable and had to sleep with the window open. Although the staff was friendly and compensate the lack of the hotel

12/04/2026Location - 2 stars due to high pickpocketing and beggars that shouted at us just for having no change - avoid the train station location as much as possible we felt very unsafe, most of the area was filthy and smelt like pee which is a shame as this isn't the hotels fault but Chiaia would've been perfect to stay in, but the bus services were very conveniently nearby Service - 5 stars! Every receptionist staff member was so polite and very helpful, grateful for the lovely service, thankyou! Room - 4 stars, room was lovely but the bed was pretty hard and there were some silverfish around the bed and beetle-like bugs in the bathroom, one even joined me in having a bath 😂 wifi was also very slow and stopped working occassionally Toilet also made this very weird intensely loud sound after flushing it sometimes which lasted about 10-15 minutes, maybe a plumbing issue? I'd overall give it 3 stars :)

29/03/2026Too expensive for what it offers. The only real advantage is the location, being close to the train station. The noise from outside is quite disturbing at night. Upon arrival at reception, we were asked to pay the city tax in cash only, no card payment accepted, and no receipt was provided for the payment.

29/03/2026The main advantage is the proximity to the Central Station. Prices are a little above average, while the accomodations were decent and clean. The main disadvantage was the constant noise from the streets and in our case we had a "professional upstairs neighbor" who managed to bang on the walls/floors both nights of our vacation non-stop from 19:00 to midnight.

24/02/2026We stayed at Grand Hotel Europa from 9 February to 12 February and overall found it to represent very good value for money. On arrival we were allocated a first-floor room. Unfortunately, on our first evening around 21:30, the corridor outside was extremely noisy due to a large group of under-18 students socialising and moving between rooms. According to staff, there were 50–60 of them, and after a long travel day it felt as though sleep was going to be disrupted. We went to reception to ask whether an alternative room might be available. Enzo and Ida were exceptionally helpful and immediately arranged for us to move to a room on the third floor. The process was handled quickly and professionally. Shortly after we had settled into the new room, we received a call from Ida on reception to apologise and check that everything was satisfactory, which we appreciated. Room 310 was quieter in terms of corridor noise, although we did notice quite noisy plumbing during the stay. The room itself was clean and well maintained, and standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hotel were good. Breakfast was very well organised and efficiently run, with good variety and attentive staff. All of the staff we encountered were welcoming, friendly and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. One minor concern was the requirement to leave the room key at reception each time we went out. It was not always clear what checks were made before keys were reissued, which made us slightly uncomfortable with the security of our possessions. Overall, despite some noise-related drawbacks, the hotel offers exceptional value for money in a convenient location. Given the price point and the excellent service from staff, we would stay here again.

07/11/2025A really solid hotel. The location is good, right beside the central train station, a 20 min walk from the start of the old town. The room was comfortable and a reasonable size. It was cleaned every day which was nice, and the towels replaced at the same time. No fridge, but that is becoming rarer in my experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is right by a busy road so it's not the quietest at night, but it wasn't too bad. The restaurant didnt appeal to us too much, the menu was quite small. The bat food was ok. Watch out for the tiger mosquitoes! Recommended.

03/10/2025A great hotel to stay in for a night before or after flights. We stayed here on the way to and from the Amalfi Coast. Within walking distance of train station. Allowed us to store luggage before check in so we could explore the city in the mean time. Also helped us arrange a taxi for our early flight to the airport.

11/09/2025The good: The room was big and comfortable. The breakfast croissants were good. The room seemed clean. The beds were comfortable. The location was really close to the Napoli Centrale train station The bad: The receptionist wasn't pleasant to talk to. The toilet had no door. The room had 4 beds even though I was traveling alone. The neighborhood was really dirty. The breakfast food was bland (except the croissants). You can serve some food yourself but you have to ask someone for the croissants? There were two water bottles, one labelled "Still" and the other "Sparkling" -- they were both sparkling water. The breakfast (+~30 euro per night) is NOT worth it. Overall, it served for passing the night, but I wouldn't have liked to spend my vacation here.

23/08/2025I spent 4 nights and 5 days at the Grand Hotel Europa with my wife and 2 sons. From the moment we entered the hotel until we left, the staff were amazing; to name a few, Luisa, Lucca and Raphelle on Reception, to my favourite characters in the breakfast room Gino and Christian - ice ice baby! The service was impeccable! The hotel is clean and situated around the corner from Naples Garibaldi train station. Albeit, there are homeless people near the station and it can get a bit messy, however, they don't bother you. The hotel is a 3 star but feels like 4 star. I would attend again as the staff and service is the best! As an aside, there is no metro or train service from Naples Airport. You can catch an "Alibus" bus stop, which is a 5 minute walk from the airport - cost 5 to 6 euro to Garibaldi train sataion or a taxi for 15 to 20 euros. There is also a food hall with a number of food outlets and MacDonalds next to the Garibaldi train station. The food hall leads into a small shopping centre next to the train station.

La vicinanza con la stazione la rende comoda per la posizione ma non tanto sicura la sera se si rientra tardi in hotel. La colazione lascia molto a desiderare, molto povera rispetto ad altri alberghi.

31/03/2026Nechápu většinu pozitivních recenzí na tento hotel. Ano.na fotkách vše vypadá skvěle,ale realita je hodně odlišná. Lokalita je čistá hrůza, smrad,špína, pokoje jsou malé a čistota nic moc. Koupelna - ten šílený zápach co se line z odpadů je odporný, opět-na fotkách vypadá hezky,ale realita je stará, neudržovaná,omšelá,špinavá a smradlavá. Snídaně? Výběr stále stejný-asi jen ze čtyř možností. Ty vám ale musí naservírovat, hlavně se nesmíte něčeho dotknout nebo si nabrat jídlo sami !!! (asi aby zbylo na ostatní hosty). Míchaná vajíčka nechutnají jako vajíčka, je to spíše nějaká nažloutlá hmota,chutnající nijak a plavající ve vodě. Párky-zelené a smradlavé,nakrajené na kolečka-opět,abyste toho moc nesnědli a zbylo na ostatní hosty. A zbytek jen sladké nijaké pokrmy-"Musli",croisanty,buchty...Obecně je recepční a obsluha vcelku milá, ale na to, jak hotel vypadá na fotkách a jak se prezentuje, je to bída,bída bída. Hlavně-za tu cenu-To je šílenost! Jinak celý hotel je dost starý a nikdo jej neudržuje,všude to smrdí a venlu v okolí hotelu také. Docela nebezpečná lokalita.

Il cibo servito è stato di buona qualità e la colazione sia salata che dolce abbondante e varia. L'hotel si trova in una posizione comoda alla stazione ferroviaria - circa 50 m. - e comoda anche per visitare il centro. Lo consiglio e spero di ritornarci per una visita a Napoli con mia moglie.

02/02/2026El hotel está justo al lado de la estación central de trenes de Nápoles. Se llega en 4 minutos andando. Está cerca del centro turístico. Las habitaciones son mejor de lo que esperaba. Muy limpias y de tamaño suficiente para estar cómodos con camas son amplias y confortables. El servicio de desayunos buffet es bastante bueno y variado. Todo estaba buenísimo y recién hecho. el personal de la recepción es fantástico. Sin duda lo mejor del hotel. Amables y atentos. Siempre dispuestos a entender y ayudar en lo que necesites. Nos ha encantado alojarnos allí y lo recomiendo sin dudarlo a quienes quieran una buena relación calidad/precio y cercanía a lugares de interés.

29/12/2025Prenotato online, arrivati alle 21.30, personale super cortese, preso documenti e lasciato chiavi. Tutto nel giro di pochissimo tempo. L'albergo dispone di due ascensori. Arrivati in camera bella sorpresa. Un po' datati i mobili e il bagno, ma super pulito, spaziosa con 4 letti, e un piccolo balconcino con posacenere che per chi fuma è stato molto comodo e inaspettato. La pulizia super, sia all'arrivo che ogni giorno (cambio asciugamani e pulizia), sia in camera che fuori (scale, ascensori, atrio, ecc). Molto soddisfatti. Inoltre la posizione (a mezzo minuto a piedi dalla stazione) è stato comodissimo, ogni giorno uscivamo ed eravamo già alla metro. Alla sera rumori dall'esterno essendo esposti alla via laterale della stazione, ma sarebbe stato impossibile il contrario. Stazione Garibaldi di sera non è la miglior zona da frequentare, come non lo è nemmeno quella di Trento però. La cosa bella è che anche di sera giravano tantissime persone tra security, polizia, esercito, il che dava un po' di tranquillità in più. Non ho provato il ristorante quindi non posso recensirlo. In 4 giorni abbiamo visto 4 persone diverse a rotazione alla reception, uno più gentile dell'altro. Che dire, super soddisfatto! Alla prossima!

La colazione abbondante la camera sempre pulita e ordinata molto moderna.La posizione è molto comoda per gli spostamenti infatti si affaccia sulla stazione centrale di Napoli. Menzione speciale al ricevimento per Alessandro e Gino il portiere DAVVERO UN BEL HOTEL!!

07/12/2025Hotel molto comodo per chi arriva in treno e consente di raggiungere il centro con una passeggiata di 20 minuti, il personale è molto gentile e la struttura ben tenuta, camere e bagno puliti. 23/11/2025L'Hotel si trova in posizione centrale,vicino alla stazione centrale. La posizione è ottima amche per visitare il centro di Napoli . Il personale si è dimostrato cortese ed efficiente pronto ad aiutarti in caso di bisogno. Accogliente il bar all' interno, ben fornito, per aperitivi , caffè .... ed è munito di bei tavolini e confortevoli poltrone .Alcune camere sono datate ,ma confortevoli e ovunque c'è pulizia e biancheria da bagno pulitissima e profumata che viene cambiata quotidianamente. Colazione nella norma in una bella sala posta ai piani inferiori. Bellissimi e originali gli addobbi natalizi Lo consiglio !

16/11/2025Hotel ótimo! Pareceu remodelado à relativamente pouco tempo, visto que as fotografias aqui na internet parecem desatualizadas. Adorei a experiência! Quarto e casa de banho limpos. Ótimo atendimento no pequeno-almoço, e comida ótima! A senhora que nos fez o check-out era atenciosa e simpática! Adoramos! Rapaz da recepção um pouco distante… mas no geral, gostei da recepção. Obrigada! (Note-se que já tínhamos mexido na cama aquando desta fotografia) estava tudo impeça quando chegámos!

07/11/2025Aspettative sempre soddisfatte! Nei nostri molti anni di viaggio, io e mia moglie abbiamo apprezzato i soggiorni in alcuni alberghi molto belli e unici. Ci sono stati un paio che ci hanno sedotto di nuovo per un secondo o anche un terzo soggiorno. Tuttavia, solo il Grand Hotel Europa ci ha affascinato al punto che ci siamo tornati ogni anno per 10 anni! Soggiornare in questo storico e prestigioso hotel ci porta gioia e soddisfazione.

06/11/2025Abbiamo alloggiato in questo meraviglioso hotel in pieno centro a Napoli a due passi dalla stazione centrale e dalla metro, posso dire che ogni volta che andremo a Napoli sarà il nostro posto fisso in cui alloggeremo. Camere spaziose è ben curate, spazi comuni molto ben arredati, personale molto accogliente e preparato sempre disponibile ad accontentare ogni richiesta. Ogni qualvolta andremo a Napoli sarà sempre il nostro punto di riferimento.

06/11/2025Camera pulita e silenziosa, nei pressi della Stazione Centrale. Nella stanza mancanza di frigo bar, di penna sullo scrittoio, di istruzioni per contattare la reception. La colazione è stata un po' una delusione, gli affettati di qualità bassa, le uova insapori, i mini croissant buoni ma poco cotti e informi, il succo d'ananas allungato e per finire caffè e cappuccino con macchinetta automatica che sapevano di ferroso, peccato

04/11/2025Op zich prima hotel. Hotel ligt vlak bij station, van daaruit makkelijk reizen naar andere delen van de stad. Buurt van hotel is wat rauwer, voldoende eetgelegenheden in de buurt, maar de buurt zelf niet echt gezellig. Hotel zelf beetje outdated, maar tegelijkertijd alles netjes en prima onderhouden. Personeel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

01/11/2025Siamo stati a Napoli in viaggio di istruzione con la classe.Abbiamo usufruito del bed and breakfast.Ottima accoglienza super disponibilità. Colazione super con torte homemade e scelta tra dolce e salato. Anche colazione differenziata per celiaci ed intolleranti al lattosio. Complimenti al sig.Gino e alle sue colleghe. Anche il servizio bar con stuzzichini per aperitivi ed aperto fino a mezzanotte è stato top! Insomma lo consiglio.

Vi manglede dog at aircondition kunne køre, når vi var ude af hotellet, så vi ikke kom tilbage til et varmt værelse. Værelset var mod gården og vi hørte ingen støj fra byen. Dog var det meget lyst om natten.

13/09/2025Devo essere sincera... Nonostante mi fosse stato consigliato da conoscenti...... ero piuttosto scettica su questo albergo situato vicinissimo alla stazione. Mi sono dovuta ricredere È in un punto strategico. Servito da tutti mezzi per girare Napoli e dintorni... Per chi come era munito solo dei propri piedi Appena arrivata sono stata accolta da Alessandro e Luisa che nonostante fossimo arrivati in anticipo ci hanno assegnato subito le camere. Ci hanno fornito di una cartina della città e si sono messi a nostra disposizione La mia era l 'unica con la vasca. Ho chiesto se fosse stato possibile cambiarla perche ho problemi a sollevare il ginocchio e sono stata subito accontentata.. Sono rimasta piacevolmente colpita. La stanza era ampia e pulitissima e soprattutto silenziosa.... dotata anche di un balconcino. Devo anche ringraziare Luca il ragazzo della reception che ho subbissato con mille domande per i miei spostamenti. Mi sono trovata benissimo anche con la prima colazione . Mimmo il responsabile per le colazioni Era attento e disponibile alle nostre esigenze' L'albergo è anche dotato di un comodo deposito bagagli per chi come me è partito la sera. Grazie a tutto lo staff mi avete fatto sentire a casa. Saprò dove tornare la prossima volta che rivedrò Napoli. Consigliatissimo

03/09/2025Hotel próximo a estação Napole Centrale. Quarto tinha uma chave pra ligar o circuito do quarto, contudo era totalmente não prático, pois para usar o cofre, por exemplo, a chave estava no mesmo chaveiro do quarto e caso você tirasse a chave do circuito o quarto todo apagava e você não enxergava nada, nem o cofre. Ou seja, nada prático. O café da manhã foi outro ponto negativo, pois ovos, frios e pasticeria em geral, eram servidos por funcionários e não buffet livre. Isso gerava fila e desconforto. Somente pão e café que era self service. As redondezas do hotel não me pareceram muito amigáveis, mas também foi um sentimento, pois não tive problemas. Em resumo, era um quarto confortável, o chuveiro era muito bom, o óbice fica por conta da chave de circuito. O café também não era prático e muito limitado. Avaliação: razoável, não ficaria novamente.
