We had a really great experience at Trattoria Torre di Pisa. Despite being told by phone that everything was fully booked, the staff found us a table when we walked in around 7:30 PM, available until 9 PM. The food was amazing: perfect carbonara, delicious tartare to share, and excellent tiramisu and chocolate mousse. The only small downside was feeling a bit rushed because of the time limit, so we finished dinner very quickly. Overall, authentic atmosphere, friendly service, and truly excellent food ♥️

Fantastic experience at Torre di Pisa! Everything was excellent, from the food to the atmosphere. The Robespierre meat was outstanding — perfectly prepared and full of flavor — and the wine recommendation was absolutely spot on, pairing beautifully with the meal. I would not recommend Trattoria Torre Di Pisa due to a concerning experience. We were charged an additional €20 for paying by card, without any clear notice prior to payment. We were told this fee would not apply if paying cash. As tourists, we did not have that option, leaving us no choice but to accept the charge. After discussing this with other local businesses, we were informed that such charges are not standard practice and may be unlawful. This situation felt misleading and exploitative. I would advise others to be cautious.

DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SCAMMED.l . Food was great. Service was great. Everything was perfectly fine until I was ready to pay my bill. I got two pastas, one tiramisu, and one espresso. The bill was €59. I was fine paying that. But apparently if I wanted to pay by card, they had to add a €20 fee. I did not have any euros on me and said they have to charge an extra €20. I had no choice but to pay €79. My two pastas were €19 each but I had to pay an extra €20 to pay by card. I went to a different restaurant later and told the cashier about my experience and she said that should never happen here. Maybe an extra euro or two but never €20 extras. She said next time call the police. Very sad that a restaurant like this is scamming tourists. DO NOT COME HERE.

A great-looking restaurant, but with the worst management system and staff to match. I booked my table almost two weeks in advance for 9:30 PM. While walking over, I tried calling ahead to let them know I was running a few minutes late, but no one answered the phone. We arrived at 9:45, which is a fairly normal 15-minute delay, and were made to wait another 30 minutes as if it were a punishment. When I asked how much longer it would be, the response was simply, “I’ll let you know when it’s ready.” It is deeply disappointing that a restaurant with such a storied legacy has allowed its service culture to deteriorate this badly. The attitude from the staff was arrogant and unwelcoming, and that is clearly reflected in the declining rating. I had not eaten all day. I had worked a full day and saved this evening to enjoy a proper dinner with my wife. Instead, this is what we were met with: cold indifference and zero courtesy, none of the warmth you would expect from any genuine Italian hospitality tradition. I genuinely hope the owner reads this. Restaurants selected by the Italian government as 50-year heritage brands carry a responsibility. That recognition should come with a commitment to treating guests with dignity and compassion, not just pride in the name above the door.

WAITER SCAMMED US REGARDING THE TIP, AT LEAST 20€+ - BEWARE The food itself is good and fresh, but nothing extraordinary. We ordered two carbonaras and two cokes only, we didn't want appetizers, desserts, or coffee. The total should have equated to something around 44€ according the menu, which is already on the pricier side, but fair enough. Then the bill comes in to a total of 54€, and I don't really get the time to properly look at the bill as the waiter was already pressuring us for a tip, but I suspect he overcharged us for something. He then proceeded to convenientely not speak or understand English anymore while asking for the tip. I said I would give him a tip - he adds 20€ to the bill then, I reply that I would tip 1 or 2€, but he refuses. I insist on giving him less as a tip, but he kept pressuring us to pay that much. I caved in , and ended up paying it, unsure if it was just customary. Just say no tip - 74€ for 2 carbonaras and 2 cokes is atrocious.

We had early dinner here. Was absolutely delicious, impeccable service at a great price. They accomadated us for early dinner, uncommon in these parts. The milanese cutlet, caponata with Burrata, pasta with fresh asparagus was deliziosa! We were seated in the back dining room, but there is a prettier part of the restaurant, I guess was closed at the time.

I received recommendations from different people about that place. However, my carbonara wasn't as good as I had expected. It was missing some flavour and was rather dry, I would say. My friends' dishes were a bit better than mine. Overall, it was a good experience as it felt very traditional, but I expected more from the food. The location is very good, and the place has a nice atmosphere with quick service. The waitresses are very kind!!

Food was good, on the pricier side but would’ve been ok but we came in an hour before closing and dined fast, both of us speak basic Italian and have manners but were treated with nothing but of contempt, to the point where we spent the walk home thinking what we did wrong to upset them so much. Torre di Pisa is my favourite historical restaurant in Milan. Designed in the 30's, and maintained exactly like that until today. the quality of the food is always high and service warm and attentive. I feel at my grandmother's home there. HIghly recommend the experience!

We came spontaneously and were warmly welcomed and seated within minutes, which already set a great tone. We were extremely happy with our choices: Antipasti, Steak Tartar, and Carbonara. All were tasty, fresh, and full of flavor. You really can’t go wrong with any of them. And don’t skip the Tiramisu, it’s mouthwatering and honestly one of the best we’ve had. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout. Service was a bit slow at times, with over 20 minutes between dishes, but overall it’s a place we would definitely recommend.

Food was ok and the male host was nice, compared to our waiter. We were excited to sit down and have our first meal in Milan, and then disaster struck. I ordered a beer, and our waiter deliberately poured a quarter of it onto the table to which I received a very sarcastic “Sorry”. He basically threw our food onto the table and then proceeded to ignore us completely. It got so uncomfortable that they swapped waiters at the end of our meal. Not sure if all service is like this in Milan but we had truly never experienced anything like it :(

We were given this restaurant as a recommendation from a local friend. The food here was very family oriented… truly fresh and delicious. Our server was Luca, he was a very friendly, funny, and welcoming server- one of the best we have ever met and made our experience truly enjoyable. We ordered the carafe house wine (by recommendation) and rose. Unfortunately they did not have rose by the glass, but Luca accommodated and found a bottle they could serve by the glass. Pastas were fresh and excellent. Huge portions and the prices are very fair for Milano.

Me and five of my college friends came here for dinner and were waited on by Luca, who at first came off as incredibly charming and sweet. It was very obvious we were on a budget—we asked for the cheapest bottles of wine—and he even insisted on giving us a free bottle, which we told him he absolutely didn’t need to do. When the bill arrived, we realized we had been completely taken advantage of. We were charged double for a steak dish, billed for eight waters we never ordered, and charged for more glasses of wine than we actually had. In total, we paid about €60 more than we should have. When we calmly brought this up, his entire demeanor flipped. He became visibly uncomfortable and started pulling out his tip money to offer it back to us, which made the situation extremely awkward. Of course we didn’t take it, and his reaction was so unsettling that we felt pressured into dropping the issue—something I now deeply regret. Whether it was because we were young, on a budget, or not from Italy, it felt like he intentionally tried to take advantage of us. The experience was incredibly upsetting and completely ruined what should have been a simple dinner out.

Simply put: food was not good enough to justify the attitude of the staff... Upon being sat we were curtly informed that we must leave within an hour (half of the restaurant was empty). Food was slammed on the table in front of us. Salt, pepper, and Parmesan was removed from our table while eating, with no explanation, to be given to the table next to us (whom the waitor seemed to favor more). Probably the worst I've been treated during a dining experience, and the food was mediocre at best.

Appalling discrimination and the rudest service in Milan ​I am writing this to express my absolute disgust with the treatment I received at Torre di Pisa. This establishment should not call itself a restaurant that provides service to people; it was, without a doubt, the most inhospitable and rude experience I have ever encountered in Italy. ​I visited at 3:00 PM and was told the place was full.The waitress told me not to come back before 7:00 PM and didn't take my name for reservation. To my utter shock, when I returned at night as instructed, she had the audacity to deny me entry because I 'didn’t have a reservation.' ​This is not just bad service; this is a deliberate and malicious cycle of rudeness. It felt like a clear message that tourists are not welcome. If you have a policy against serving certain people, you should be honest enough to post it on your door instead of playing these insulting games. ​This experience was so traumatic and unprofessional that it made me rethink my entire visit to Italy. You are presenting a very shameful image of Italian hospitality to the world. I will make sure to share this experience on every travel platform and with every travel group to warn others about the toxic atmosphere and the blatant disrespect at this place.

Esperienza fantastica come sempre.Frequento questa trattoria da anni con amici o famiglia, e devo dire che la qualità e' sempre eccezionale il servizio sempre al top. Tutti sempre molto gentili mi sembra di entrare a casa ogni volta. Che siano secondi o primi piatti non fa differenza tutto sempre perfetto, per non parlate del dolce e del caffe (uno dei pochi ristoranti dove il caffe e' buonissimo). La Trattoria Torre di Pisa si conferma una garanzia a Milano per chi cerca sostanza e qualità in un ambiente professionale ma accogliente. ​Abbiamo iniziato con degli antipasti di salumi e specialità toscane di altissimo livello, freschi e saporiti. Excelente em todos os aspectos! Recebemos um atendimento atencioso de maneira genuína desde a entrada no restaurante, que nos gentilmente recebeu pouco tempo antes de fechar. Ambiente é espetacular sem contar que o gnocchi al ragu é simplesmente algo de outro planeta. O carciofi deles também é sensacional e a Bisteca estava no ponto perfeito! Se você quer conhecer algo genuinamente italiana e não cair em pegadinhas turísticas, pode ir sem erro!

Пришла в обеденное время, половина заведения была уже занята. Шла целенаправленно за пастой, эффекта вау никакого не получила, дома можно и вкуснее приготовить, ничего особого. Десерт был вкусный. За такую стоимость можно куда вкуснее поесть. Персонал был не особо то и приветлив, общался так, как будто я ему должна денег. Вернусь ли сюда еще? Нет. Порекомендую ли я это место? Нет.

Íbamos a almorzar,ya desde que entramos y hablamos otro idioma parece no haberle gustado al empleado que recibe.Bonentendimos que decía y nos cambiamos de mesa ya que nos puso muy en el borde donde pasaba el servicio a atender otras mesas y vino de mal miso a decirnos que volvieramos a nuestra mesa por lo que nos retiramos. No entendímos porque sino quieren turistas están en la zona más turística de Milan. Lamentable que traten a la gente así.

llevamos una semana en Italia y ha sido el peor local al cual hemos ido. Un trato muy descuidado. Después de acabar de comer el plato ni nos preguntaron si queríamos postre. Se pusieron a recoger las mesas con nosotros delante comiendo como indicando que nos fuésemos. La calidad de la pasta muy simple. Y el servicio son cuatro euros por persona en mi opinión no se merecen ni un euro. No volvería jamás. Dos Carbonaras, una pasta la puttanesca y dos botellas de agua 71 €. En mi opinión demasiado caro para la calidad y el servicio.

La Trattoria Torre di Pisa è un locale storico nel cuore di Brera, aperto dal 1959 e spesso considerato un pezzo di Milano che profuma di tradizione toscana e atmosfera d’altri tempi. L’ambiente è rustico e accogliente, con arredi che richiamano l’epoca classica delle trattorie italiane, e mette subito a proprio agio grazie a quell’aria di familiarità che non si trova facilmente nei ristoranti moderni. La cucina propone piatti della tradizione italiana e toscana: crostini con fegatini, zuppe rustiche, bistecche e primi piatti saporiti sono spesso citati tra i punti forti. Molti clienti apprezzano la carne e alcuni piatti tipici regionali, insieme a dolci casalinghi come tiramisù o panna cotta. Sono stato in questo ristorante più volte in passato e mi sono sempre trovato bene, motivo per cui sono rimasto ancora più deluso dall’esperienza di questa sera (venerdì). Abbiamo ordinato una tagliata che si è rivelata assolutamente insufficiente: meno di 100 grammi di carne e appena quattro tocchi di patate, serviti in un piatto praticamente vuoto. Sembrava uno scherzo! Un rapporto qualità/quantità davvero deludente. Anche il servizio, nel complesso, non è stato all’altezza: nonostante fosse fine serata, con pochi tavoli occupati e tempo a disposizione, è risultato spesso assente. Indecente, ordino una tagliata da 30 euro con patate mi arrivano 4 pezzettini di carne e tre patate. Ridicolo. Lo faccio presente ed il “direttore” di sala chiamato dal cameriere per il mio appunto viene, si scusa e dice “ci penso io”. Aspetto 20 minuti e per prendermi in giro mi riporta la stessa tagliata con una patata in più. 4 patate e 4 pezzetti di carne per 30 euro. maleducazione spicciola da trivio meridionale. Non andrò mai più nella mia vita. Peccato perché una volta non era così. Il posto ha perso completamente il suo fascino, personale sgarbato, sbrigativo e maleducato. Non si salva nulla. Da evitare

TRUFFA Esperienza pessima e assolutamente da non ripetere. Porzioni ridicole, al limite dell’imbarazzante: sono uscito dal ristorante con più fame di quando sono entrato. A fronte di prezzi tutt’altro che contenuti, ci si aspetterebbe almeno il minimo sindacale, invece qui sembra che il cliente venga trattato come un fastidio più che come un ospite. Ma il peggio è stato l’atteggiamento del personale: invece di ascoltare una legittima osservazione sulla quantità del cibo, mi sono sentito deriso, con commenti e sguardi fuori luogo, totalmente incompatibili con un locale che pretende di definirsi professionale. Un comportamento arrogante e irrispettoso che rovina completamente l’esperienza, indipendentemente da quello che arriva nel piatto. Accoglienza fredda, zero attenzione al cliente e nessuna capacità di gestire una critica in modo maturo. Se questo è il loro concetto di ristorazione, meglio cambiare mestiere. Vera trattoria Toscana. Ambiente storico con personale gentile ed un servizio impeccabile. Ottima cucina, consigliato il prosciutto crudo toscano, la pasta con ragù al coltello e la zuppa di lenticchie. Consigliatissimo.

No hemos salido contentos. 4€ por cubierto me parece un abuso. Ofrecer una marca de cerveza y cobrar 8€ por cerveza, otro abuso. Dejar botellas de agua en la mesa sin pedirlas y al acabar traer de nuevo aprovechando el despiste, inadecuado. Cobrar 22 € por un plato con 2 salchichas pequeñas y 4 patatas, un abuso. La pasta y el risotto aceptable sin mas. No lo recomiendo. En la zona hay sitios mucho mejores. Es lo que tienen las prisas...

Vidi se da je pravi italijanski restoran. Kvalitetna hrana, kvalitetna usluga, nalazi se u uskim ulicicama Brera kvarta Milana i vidi se da su i sami konobari i osoblje na vrhunskom nivou i iskusni. I vidi se oko nas koji smo bili tu retki gosti turisti da je oko nas skoro svaki sto bio sto sa gostima pravim italijanima, domacim ljudima iz okoline. I mozda smo se bas zbog toga osecali malo neprijatno jer smo imali osecaj kao da smo usluzeni samo sto moramo. I zato nije najvisa ocena ali generalno kvalitet se vidi necete pogresiti sigurno ako svratite i mi npr.nismo cekali na sto, seli smo odmah

Recomendable absolutamente, lo encontramos de casualidad, mi marido y yo, huyendo de la multitud de sitios al lado con colas..comida buenísima auténtica italiana cabe mencionar el servicio de 10 y amabilidad en este caso por parte de Luca y también de todo el personal! Der erste Eindruck war positiv: super netter Service und leckeres, frisches Brot. Das Essen (wir haben Pasta bestellt) war eher mittelmäßig, im Vergleich zu anderen Restaurants in Milano jedoch nicht schlecht. Später haben wir bemerkt, dass die anderen Gäste besser bedient wurden: Am Nachbartisch gab es zu derselben Pasta, die wir bestellt hatten, noch Parmesan. Ein anderer Tisch bekam Panna Cotta mit Beeren, während meine ohne Beeren serviert wurde 🫠 Das hat sich ehrlich zu sagen seltsam angefüllt und ich habe keine Idee, woran es liegen könnte. Leider habe ich nicht nachgefragt - jetzt bereue ich das ein bisschen.
