24/01/2026This was hands down the best veal Milanese we’ve ever had. Perfectly crisp on the outside, tender and flavorful inside- truly flawless. Every dish we tried felt like it couldn’t have been done any better. The flavors were rich without being too heavy, and you could really taste the quality in the ingredients. The ossobuco was just as memorable ( melt-in-your-mouth) beautifully cooked, and deeply comforting in that classic, traditional Italian way. The service was incredible! An all-around exceptional dining experience and we would recommend this to anyone visiting Milan

19/01/2026💙💙💙 OMG!!!! Delightful. Food is exceptional and worth the price. Their wine list goes from $40 and up, with all wines being of exceptional quality. Because it not “near” the Duomo, they are not “price gouging” their customers. I will be eating here EVERY YEAR I visit Milano. 💙💙💙

21/12/2025The food was excellent and truly authentic Milanese cuisine - that was the highlight of the evening. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the food. We felt that service may have differed because we were not locals nor spoke italian: wine pours were noticeably minimal, and a sauce that normally accompanies our appetizer was forgotten and no effort to apologize when we pointed that out. Additionally, when we ordered one appetizer and were asked if we were splitting, it was plated on two dishes and charged at a higher price (€32 instead of the listed €24.50) without this being clearly explained beforehand. The per-person cover charge was also quite high. Overall, the kitchen is outstanding, but greater transparency and consistency in service would significantly improve the experience. Which is a shame because we can tell a lot of care was put into this restaurant and we really wanted to add it to our list of restaurants we visit on our annual trip to Milan, but the service makes it very hard to come back.

05/06/2025Food is very mediocre and overpriced. The food takes way too long - we waited around 40 minutes for a risotto. If you look like an Eastern European the staff will automatically start speaking Russian to you, which is very unpleasant. I would not recommend.

03/06/2025Fantastic food and super friendly staff. The athmosphere sitting outside with some cloths nicely arranged as a roof is the best way to create a vibe. All our dishes from asperges to melanzane parmigiana and seabass to ossobucco were amazingly tasteful. We had such a nice waiter, he was absolutely the finishing touch dor the whole experience ❤️ Thank you we are definitely coming back again 😍

28/05/2025Not recommended! The restaurant may look attractive, but it turned nout to be a disappointment. We lost time, money, and our good mood. Throughout the evening, we had 4 different waiters! It took a long time for someone to take our order, and then we waited about 40 minutes for the food — no water, no apologies. The staff ignored us, and when the food finally arrived, it was practically thrown on the table. We didn’t even get a chance to ask for bread or parmesan. We had to go to the staff ourselves. The food was also tasteless, which ruined the evening completely.

The service was also very good, attentive and professional. However, I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the ambiance. While the restaurant has a nice setting, the decor could use some improvement to match the quality of the food and service. A more refined atmosphere would elevate the dining experience even further. Overall, a great spot for classic Milanese cuisine!

03/03/2025Wonderful restaurant, highly recommend. Service was incredible and reflected the high quality that this place offered. Every dish we tried from the menu was delicious. Not pretentious in any way, the whole experience was very genuine and sincere. Prices were on the high side but reasonable when considering everything. Some small negatives, it was a little cold when the door was opened. Also the “leather” chairs were worn and need of repair or replacement

They have sheltered outdoor seating in case of rain, and a posh indoor restaurant, good for small business conversations. Lovely ambience overall!

28/04/2026Nous étions 5 à dîner dans ce restaurant. Honnêtement, les entrées étaient ridiculement petites et très chères. Le carpaccio de thon était minuscule pour le prix. La burrata était correcte, sans plus. Concernant les plats, l’ossobuco était excellent et clairement le meilleur plat de la soirée. En revanche, les pâtes à la tomate étaient décevantes : elles étaient complètement collées, formant presque un bloc, sans grand intérêt gustatif. Petit point très négatif sur le service : comme je n’avais pas pris d’entrée, mon plat principal m’a été servi en même temps que les entrées de mes amis. Résultat, j’ai fini de manger bien avant eux et je les ai ensuite regardés manger leurs plats… Cela manque clairement de logique dans le rythme du service. Le service était également très long, même pour obtenir les cartes du menu. Le restaurant était plein et le personnel semblait complètement débordé. Au final, si vous cherchez une vraie expérience de gastronomie italienne, ce n’est pas l’endroit que je recommanderais. Le point fort reste surtout le cadre, qui est agréable.

Het is wel wat duurder dan de andere restaurants en schrik niet als je 6 euro per persoon aan extra service kosten (coperto) moet betalen. Dat is hier normaal. Mooi van binnen en het tuintje was perfect om te zitten tijdens een mooie zonnige dag.

E' stato un paradiso per il palato. Un gioco pirotecnico di sapori assemblati da maestria con ottima qualità del cibo. Sicuramente da ripetere. 06/07/2025Muy buen restaurante a tres minutos andando de la scala de Milán. Nosotros fuimos a comer pero para cenar tiene que estar muy bien también, la parte exterior está cubierta por una bóveda y separada de un parque por una verja, por lo cual en verano aporta algo de respiro en los días cálidos. Tiene también comedor interior funcional muy bien presentado. En lo que respecta a la comida probamos los mondeghili (el símil español sería una mezcla entre croqueta y albóndiga) y el vitello tonato y como principales una pasta del día (3 tomates) y el ossobuco con risotto a la milanesa, de postre helado de chocolate y la tarta providenza. Todo estaba muy rico, teniendo un nivel espectacular el ossobuco con risotto, el único pero quizás sean los precios, algo subidos en mi opinión aunque lo puedo entender por la ubicación (adjunto cuenta para que cada uno haga su propio juicio). Nos atendieron unas chicas muy atentas y amables. En total salimos a 198€ comiendo dos adultos y una niña pequeña, aún así yo creo que recomendable y visita obligatoria si quieres comer por la zona.

29/05/2025Cenare da Don Lisander è un’esperienza che va ben oltre il semplice pasto: è un vero e proprio viaggio nei sapori della tradizione milanese, avvolti da un’atmosfera di rara bellezza. Ho avuto il piacere di cenare all’aperto, nel suggestivo cortile interno, un’oasi di tranquillità nel cuore pulsante della città. L’atmosfera era semplicemente magica: luci soffuse, tavoli elegantemente apparecchiati, il profumo dei fiori e il silenzio ovattato che solo certi luoghi sanno offrire. Gli spazi interni, raffinati ed accoglienti, parlano di eleganza senza tempo. Ogni dettaglio è curato con gusto, tra arredi classici e tocchi di calda modernità, che rendono l’ambiente perfetto sia per una cena romantica che per un’occasione speciale. Un plauso particolare va allo staff: cortese, preparato e sempre attento alle esigenze degli ospiti, con quel tocco di discrezione che fa sentire coccolati senza mai essere invadenti. Il cibo? Semplicemente straordinario. Ogni piatto è un equilibrio perfetto tra tradizione e creatività, preparato con ingredienti di altissima qualità. Dai risotti ai secondi, fino ai dessert, tutto è stato impeccabile. Una menzione d’onore al risotto alla milanese, che resta nel cuore (e nel palato). In conclusione, Don Lisander è un ristorante che conquista sotto ogni aspetto: atmosfera incantevole, servizio impeccabile e cucina eccellente. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca un’esperienza autentica, elegante e indimenticabile nel cuore di Milano.

05/12/2024Passavo per via Manzoni e mi son trovato davanti a Don Lisander, ho prenotato e sono entrato. A parte la sorpresa della maniglia della porta riscaldata, l’eleganza della sala addobbata per il prossimo Natale, la preparazione del servizio e l’accoglienza gentile e discreta. Ho preso il culatello (che si scioglieva in bocca) e il cervo coi funghi e il purè. Davvero ottimo tutto. Panettone con zabaione ottimo e caffè. Vino: un bicchiere di prosecco di Conegliano e un Chianti. Il locale lo conoscevo per esserci stato in estate qualche anno fa, ma la sala in inverno è veramente carina. Ci torno senz’altro!

20/10/2024Ristorante nel pieno centro di Milano dove tutto, ma proprio tutto, è ben più che all'altezza delle aspettative. Il padrone di casa Stefano accoglie i clienti come fossero di famiglia, la cucina è spettacolare (risotto ed ossobuco neanche le nostre nonne li fanno così buoni) e lo staff asseconda ogni capriccio anche dei rompiballe più accaniti, tipo me. Location molto caratteristica, cantina dei vini super fornita con etichette di primissima qualità. Poi la mazzata finale te la da la torta Don Lisander: Non è torta, non è panettone, è solo pura bontà. E in proporzione costa meno di una trattoria. SETTE STELLE

05/08/2024Très difficile de se faire comprendre si vous êtes français vous aurez fortement l'impression de ne pas être les bienvenus Nous avons réservé une table la veille le jour de notre repas celle-ci était prise pour l'heure convenu auprès de 2 serveurs de plus Nous avons été servi après une table de 5 et une table de 3 qui sont arrivés après nous c'est très fâcheux surtout que lorsque le patron nous fait simplement comprendre que ce n'est pas de chance pour nous Donc pas de chance pour lui malgré un repas très bon nous ne pouvons que dire que nous sommes déçus par ce ressenti et cet accueil désolant nous ne conseillons pas aux français
