One of the worst pancakes I have ever had. Coffee was good. The pancakes were so dry you wouldn't be able to eat them if you weren't exetremely hungry. Omlette was ok. The portions are tiny. 12€ for two small pancakes. Female waitress activly tried to avoid eye contact and was not very friendly.

Staff was super rude. When I asked a simple question, they seemed very annoyed and didn’t properly answer me. They also didn’t smile or show any basic courtesy during the interaction. One of them giving me unpleasant looks, when I was paying, they didn’t even say a single word. It was a super weird environment.

The coffee was great, the cakes were nice, but unfortunately the service (as well as the half glasses of juice) let the experience down. The waitress who served us was unnecessarily argumentative... I wrote down my order, yet she insisted it wasn’t what I had said. This wasn’t what I was expecting when visiting Milan. Note for the manager: Please address staff attitude, as it impacts an otherwise good café.

I was blind with love! These pancakes were true delicious American style pancakes. The flavour and texture were fluffy with a slight tang! They reminded me of the one I used to order from the dinner by my house as a kid. I ordered maple syrup on the side for extra. If the meal came with butter and maple syrup it would be perfect. The eggs and bacon were also delicious. I was surprised to find real bacon in Milan. Normally, restaurants fry prosciutto and call it bacon. The eggs were scrambled to perfection. They were creamy and fluffy, not overcooked. Now, the American coffee was the best I’ve found in the city so far! It has light sour notes to it. It wasn’t incredible but I was lucky to find a decent americano in Italy. The service was slow but the girl behind the counter was basically handling all the tables alone. She was super sweet and didn’t say anything about me working on my laptop. I felt so at home. The place was welcoming, clean and comfy. I’ll be back again and I’m bringing my friends!! This is such a cute place for a weekly brunch!

So, I had a vegetarian bagel and wow—it slapped. Like, I didn’t expect to fall in love with bread and veggies, but here we are. 10/10 would eat again. Then came the plot twist: tiny ant visitors on the table. I guess they were also fans of the bagel? The staff looked like we interrupted their nap, but hey—at least the interior was cute. Kinda like an Instagram café that forgot to smile. Later we ordered fries and honestly… chef’s kiss. Crispy, golden, and they came with ketchup and mayo, which automatically earns them extra points in my book. Now, the coffee… let’s just say it was more of a warm whisper in a tiny cup than a bold wake-up call. Still, for brunch or lunch, I’d probably come back—armed with bug spray and low expectations for caffeine. But thanks :)

When I saw its score, I tried it with some doubt. We preferred it for brunch on Sunday morning. It has a spacious and comfortable place, you don't have trouble finding a place to sit. The first table we sat at was surrounded by ants, more attention should be paid to hygiene at the tables. We ordered avocado poached eggs, omelette and bagel. We were happy with all of them. My only criticism is that the bread they brought was packaged bread. I would have preferred homemade bread. The staff was a bit dull, I prefer to see smiling faces. The service was fast. I can say that it was above my expectations in general. The prices are also average.

Best aperitif in town! Free choice of drink or cocktail plus a huge tray of very good food- 2 mini burgers, roasted potato chips, onion rings, club sandwich slices. Basically dinner! All for 15 euros (30 euros for two people). See attached pics. Highly recommend!!

This cafe/restaurant has a big menu to order from! We’ve eaten here twice, and both were good! We especially recommend the NY style bagel🥯 The English Breakfast was fine, but we preferred the bagels. Smashburger and chicken teriyaki bowl was also good!

The vibe of the place was really nice, but the avocado toast was pretty basic, bread was supermarket bread which is weird when you think the place is called “bakery”. Had avocado and eggs on toast. It was embarrassing despite it being a “safe and easy option”. Served on supermarket bread, it was cold and soggy. Waiter was kind enough to swap it out and it was equally bad. Would not recommend at all. Service was good and ambiance was ok. Grab a coffee or something but don’t get food. Advice to the restaurant: if you charge £23 for this, pls at least use nice sourdough or artisanal bread, not the cheap mulino bianco bread you buy at the supermarket.

I like California bakery. However, if you have tried the breakfast or brunch then you need to ensure that you express what you want. In my experience, I have had the French toast. One for breakfast and twice for brunch. The first time it was fried to a crisp, lightly battered and warm to the taste and pleasant on the pallet! it was close to perfection if not perfect. The next two times I came to California bakery, the French toast taste as if they took the bread out of the bag and put it in the microwave for five seconds and served it to me on the plate with powdered sugar and that was it. I expressed this to say this… make sure you express how you want your food prepared and cooked otherwise you’re going to get what they give you. Make sure they don’t bring the ham out the refrigerator, cold on a plate. Make sure it is COOKED. Just like the menu says it is. When the chef brought my ham out to my table, I looked at it and I looked at him and then look at the guy who took my order. And I told him this is not cooked. So they took it back and got it right. Other than that, the service is good. Express how you want your food prepared and everything will be all right.👍🏾

Funny enough the staff told us it is not the first time and they know about those guys. They should just inform the 3/4 tables in the outside space then?? Unfortunately the California Bakery I used to love back in 2009 when I lived in Milan doesn‘t exist anymore. The quality has dropped immensely and the prices have risen without a reason. 7,50 for a small slice of cake. 12 for a regular one. Terrible coffee, cappuccino without foam that you could get at a vending machine. Slow and inattentive service. I‘ll keep the memories but won‘t be back.

Ich kann mich den schlechten Bewertungen leider nur anschliessen. Das essen war zwar ganz oke. (Nichts besonderes aber Gut) und auch das Ambiente war mehr oder weniger in Ordnung. Ich würde es aber eher als Fastfood cafe bezeichnen als ein kleines süsses Café. Der Service war aber leider echt enttäuschend. Die hälfte unseres Frühstücks ging vergessen, was ja ansich nicht so schlimm wäre aber wenn man dan die Bedienung suchen muss und nichtmals eine Entschuldigung zu hören bekommt, ist das sehr schade. Und gerade bei den Preisen könnte mann besseres erwarten. Vielleicht haben wir auch nur einen schlechten Tag erwischt aber alles in allem kann ich nur davon abraten hir zu frühstücken.

Siamo capitati in questo locale di via Garibaldi proprio per caso, per una consumazione veloce. Sin da subito il locale interno è sembrato in ordine e pulito, diversamente i tavolini all'esterno che nonostante quando ci siamo fermati erano liberi, presentava diverse macchine e briciole. Personale gentile ed educato, ma forse poco attento alla parte esterna, considerando che in quel momento tra interno ed esterno vi erano solo 5 tavoli occupati. Prezzi un po' elevati (9,40€), considerando che abbiamo consumato una Coca senza ghiaccio e limone e un succo di ananas.

Un toast umidiccio e molliccio con il formaggio ancora da sciogliersi all’interno. Dopo 20 minuti seduti, con solo due tavoli occupati, ci prendono l’ordinazione. Patatine dolci fritte discrete. Ci hanno servito in un tavolo accanto ai bidoni dell’immondizia, la pedana del bancone aveva il bordo tenuto insieme con il nastro adesivo. Il servizio lento e poco empatico. Il cibo scadente. Non ho davvero parole, ordinato con Deliveroo dove per comunicare intolleranze o allergie devi contattare direttamente il locale, ho chiamato per 20 minuti ininterrottamente senza ricevere mai una risposta, l'ordine non è stato potuto né essere modificato né annullato poiché risultava risultava essere in preparazione già dopo minuti. Rispetto a qualche anno fa, secondo il nostro modesto parere, questa sede ha perso un po’. Siamo arrivati verso le 09:00 e la vetrina delle brioches era mezza vuota e con pochissima scelta. Abbiamo preso due cappuccini ma non erano montati bene infatti la schiuma era piena di bolle. Le uniche note positive lo staff molto cordiale, location, servizio veloce e i pancake che erano davvero ottimi. Ci ritorneremo comunque per dare una seconda chance.

Un po' delusa devo dire. Abbiamo prenotato un brunch, nella fretta di ordinare abbiamo preso avocado toast semplice...ma veramente semplice. Considerato che un piatto comprende un contorno (patate e cipolle per lo più) caffè americano, un mini dolcino e spremuta, il costo è davvero esagerato. Il cestino con pezzi di focaccia mista, muggine salato è inguardabile, per nulla invitante, lasciato tutto. Personale gentile e ambiente tutto sommato tranquillo considerata l'ora del brunch.

Deludente. Rispetto a 2 anni fa molto cambiato. Il pane del menu brunch arriva in quantità ridotta e tutto a pezzi, forse avanzato da altri. In passato era molto meglio presentato e curato. Non esiste un refeel del succo di arancia, assurdo. Lo prevedono del caffè americano. Ma dopo la prima tazza chi ne chiede di più, chi ne beve tanto? Mah! È caro il prezzo per una non-formula brunch. Forse meglio il menu alla carta. Bocciato.

Ero stata qui 2 anni fa e ci sono tornata stamattina con mia sorella per un brunch: che delusione! Mancavano diverse cose presenti sul menu e che, secondo me non dovrebbero mai mancare per un brunch, tra cui lo yogurt con granola e le bevande a base di matcha...e pensare che avevamo addirittura prenotato con una settimana di anticipo. Evidentemente il personale che gestisce questo store deve pianificare meglio l'approviggionamento degli ingredienti...nota positiva: servizio rapido e cordiale

Grandissima cordialità e professionalità anche solo per un caffè al banco. Carolina è stata sorridente, veloce ed è anche molto carina. Non da meno i suoi colleghi Sasha e Jasper che si occupa del servizio ai tavoli. È vero che California Bakery ha prezzi al di sopra della media dei consueti bar o caffè, tuttavia posso garantire che i loro prodotti sono anch'essi al di sopra della media. E.... il bocconcino di torta servito come gesto commerciale con il caffè, è godurioso. Promossi.

Non mi dilungo su recensione circa i prodotti che si possono prendere, già molte altre recensioni ne tessono le lodi. Prodotti ottimi e di qualità ad un prezzo basso, considerato quanto si potrebbe spendere in un altro posto. Spero di non offendere la gestione.. ma non è un posto alla moda, non é cool e non è da aperitivo. É un posto piacevolissimo e rilassante per mangiare prodotti sani e bere degli ottimi infusi, un posto dove si può parlare godendosi il momento con l'altra persona perché non si é distratti da altro. Divanetti/ sedie comode. Un posto dove ti ricarichi e non vai di corsa. Personale gentilissimo. Bagno piccolo, ma completo di tutto e pulito.

Ho dato una stella al servizio perché quando siamo entrati il locale era pieno a metà eppure il personale , svogliato, ha detto che era tutto occupato. Potevamo stare fuori dal locale, zona in ombra, a 5 gradi. Ho insistito perché i tavoli erano vuoti e con mala grazia ci hanno indicato un tavolino. Ordinato due caffè americani mio marito ha preso uova col bacon , io un cinnamon roll e uno smoothie. La cameriera ha fatto un sogghigno e mi ha chiesto se volevo mangiare anch'io le uova di mio marito, come se ne avessimo ordinata una porzione per risparmiare. Il piatto delle uova è arrivato, due fette di pane due di bacon e le uova strapazzate li piazzate nel piattino senza nemmeno una guarnizione . Il cinnamon roll , buonissimo , di dimensioni microscopiche roba che in California si arrabbiano di brutto. I caffè arrivati dopo un bel po' . Pessima conduzione del locale senza un direttore di sala che lo gestisce

Prendo un bagel al salmone dal costo di poco più di 14€. Al suo interno una salsina, 4 fette grandi di pomodoro e. Due fettine minuscole di salmone. Inutile dire che sembrava di mangiare pane e pomodoro. L’ennesimo posto milanese dove si spende tanto e non si mangia bene. Buono il caffè.

Ambiente luminoso, spazioso e arredato in stile con toni distintivi. Il brunch ricco, ben presentato e gustoso (i pancake soffici e caldi, il rosti di patate croccante e non intriso di olio). Da provare!

Se siete già stati negli USA sapete com'è composta una colazione, se non siete mai stati qui sono ordinabili dal menù molto ampio tutte le più classiche portate (torte, dolci, uova, pancake, toast), sia dolci che salate. Il locale è ben arredato ed esteticamente piacevole, possibilità di sedersi anche ai tavolini all''esterno. Personale gentile, prezzi però un po' elevati, ma ciò che abbiamo ordinato era tutto buono. Consigliato per un brunch di metà mattina.

J'ai commandé une salade césar au poulet. La salade avait une odeur forte de poisson, je n'ai pas pu la manger.... Ma femme a commandé un hamburger, il avait une odeur nauséabonde de pourriture, impossible de manger ça. Restaurant à fuire.

Ci siamo recati al Bakery di Corso Garibaldi per colazione. Come mi aspettavo, è un po' come tutte queste California Bakery sparse sul territorio, non è gran che. Incominciamo con il cappuccino, che non è altro che acqua colorata, dal sapore bruciato, con della "schiuma" bianca sopra in una misera tazzina. La chocolate cake è dura e gommosa, l'unico dolce che definirei mangiabile è la lie apple cake, che comunque è buona ma troppo dolce per i miei gusti. Certo, non posso dire che non me lo aspettavo.

Nunca habia estado en un sitio donde me trataran peor. La chica del mostrados súper maleducada, le pregunte que si nos iba a atender despues de estar esperando de pie durante 10 min y me respondio que me sentara y me tomarian nota y todo esto con una cara como si odiase a los turistas. Al sentarnos otros 20 min y nada sin atendernos. Al final decidimos irnos sin tomar nada. Terrible servicio. Me senti muy bien acogida en milan pero desde luego que a este sitio no vuelvo mas.

Le recensioni poco lusinghiere non ci hanno intimorito e abbiamo deciso di entrare in questo locale molto turistico per una veloce insalata. Beh fatemi dire che l'esperienza é stata positiva, sia per la qualità del cibo: materie prime, quantità e preparazione, che per il servizio: veloce e sorridente. Le pecche che ho notato sono i prezzi piuttosto cari e, sbirciando sugli altri tavoli, la formula del brunch mi sembra piuttosto "misera" rispetto al costo.
