21/05/2026CROWDED spot probably due to everyone want to try their vermut on tap. It's very good in a martini glass. Luckily we got a table upstairs in bar area (not easy) as this place is small. Smoked Cod on toast excellent tapas. We stayed 30min and then moved on to next bar as it's so busy, the staff don't really have time to be friendly to tourists. They are not rude -- just super busy.

Great vermouth and tasty freshly made tapas. Cheap. 5 vermouth and 5 different tapas to share between 2 cost just 62 euro. Will definitely return if in Madrid again

04/05/2026This is the authentic tapas bar in my romanticized version of one. No English spoken and no English patrons;) - local families enjoying tapas. We ordered the house vermouth cocktail in Spanish and were surprised with a lovely egg, tuna, potato, mayo mixture with caviar topping tapa for free. They make their own vermouth. Delicious! 12/04/2026TikTok recs typically do not stear me wrong, but this one… the trains went fully off the tracks. The place is the tightest place I’ve ever seen, some may consider this cozy vibes, but all it gave to me was claustrophobic. We were led downstairs to this dimly lit, cold basement that has never seen a swifter duster in maybe 50 years. The food- absolutely horrid. I would rather drink the water in Mexico than taste that bacalao toast that was quite honestly inedible. The meatballs were edible, but nothing to note. Now the service… horrid. Our server would disappear for 10-20 minutes at a time which was hard to understand because the only seated tables were downstairs in said dungeon (upstairs is managed by bartenders). He plopped the plate of meatballs on our table to share with nothing but forks. I asked for side plates- he forgot them and then came back with cappuccino sides dishes. We had to hunt down our bill to leave. Thank god we have a moral compass and didn’t just dine and dash, tbh they prob wouldn’t have noticed we left for maybe another 30+. Mins I would not recommend to anyone with a taste buds.

12/04/2026We came here today for tapas based off of reviews on Google/tripadvisor and social media. We were seated on the lower level- aka the dungeon. We ordered a couple of drinks and tapas dishes. The food was average, at best. The service was terrible. Our waiter was missing in action for about 20 minutes and the staff upstairs didn’t seem that concerned when we approached them. Overall rating online is pretty far off in my opinion - most underwhelming experience in Spain this past week. If thinking about this as an option, go with your other option.

31/03/2026I visited many tapas bars during my few days in Madrid, and this one left the strongest impression on me. It was small, loud, and crowded like most places in the area during the evening. We had to wait for a table, and the one we got was in a less-than-pleasant corner of the basement. But… the food and the homemade vermouth were the best I’ve ever tried. Excellent taste and presentation. The waiter was very professional, which made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend visiting!

27/03/2026We arrived hungry at 4 pm on Friday after a long day of traveling. Got ourselves 2 stools and a table. Our waiter took care of the customers in the order they came in. We ordered what he recommended #1, 5, 9 and 2 glasses of house white. He gave us a some anchovies and chips while we waited. All I can say is.. It was so delicious! The tapas came in this order and one was better than before. 9. Smoked sardines on (freshly mashed tomatoes) toast. 5. Smoked salmon with tzatziki sauce (lovely black caviar) on toast. 1. Prawn with mayonnaise and spring onion spread on toast. It came out hot and the shrimp was fresh and cooked perfectly. We ordered a third glass to share because the wine paired so well with the prawn toast. We got full, happy, and satisfied. We really enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend Taberna La Concha.

09/06/2026Se come bastante bien. Buscábamos un sitio sin gluten de tapeo por la zona centro y era perfecto. Tienen una carta entera apta para celíacos y no tienes que pedirla ya que te la ponen junto con la carta con gluten, por lo que normalizan el tipo de cocina. La comida muy buena, el personal agradable y el ambiente igual. Lo único que sí un poco caro, ya que nos gustaría que hubiese sitios mas económicos sin gluten, pero estuvimos a gusto.

19/05/2026Tra tutti i locali visitati durante il soggiorno in città, la Taberna La Concha si è rivelata una delle tappe più riuscite. Il vermut è eccellente, uno dei migliori assaggiati durante tutto il viaggio. Le tapas sono curate, saporite e di qualità nettamente superiore alla media dei locali della zona: non il solito accompagnamento da aperitivo, ma piccoli piatti pensati con attenzione. Il prezzo è leggermente più alto rispetto ad altri posti, ma ogni euro è giustificato da quello che si trova nel piatto e nel bicchiere. Lo spazio è piccolo e intimo, ma si riesce sempre a trovare il proprio angolo. Atmosfera autentica, da vero bar di quartiere madrileno. A Madrid il vermut non è solo una bevanda, è un rito sociale. La tradizione del "vermut della domenica", conosciuta localmente come la hora del vermut, è ancora oggi molto sentita tra i madrileni, che si ritrovano nei bar storici della città per un aperitivo che può tranquillamente trasformarsi in pranzo.

Eşimin en sevdigi yerlerden biri oldu..La Latina’nın merkezinde canlı, otantik bir atmosfere sahip rahat, klasik tapas. Restoran, La Latina’nın kalbinde yer alıyor.. Fantastik ve büyüleyici bir atmosfere sahip..Tapaslar çok lezzetli, vermut ve şarap seçenekleri mükemmel. Çok çeşitli yiyecek seçenekleri mevcut bir restaurant..Fiyatlar makul, bazen kapıda beklemek gerekebiliyor..Madrid'e döndüğümüzde kesinlikle tekrar geleceğiz!

16/05/2026El sitio pasa desapercibido, decidimos entrar por las reseñas de Google. Fue todo un acierto. La parte de arriba no es muy grande, pero si bajas está bastante bien. Hay unas 5 mesas, es pequeño, pero muy acogedor. La comida estaba muy buena, y lo que más nos gustó fue la tostada de solomillo a los tres quesos, la tostada de pato con naranja y las migas. Calidad-precio, súper bien. ¡Lo recomiendo!

16/05/2026Un sitio emblemático de Madrid en el que siempre da gusto estar, pero por desgracia esta vez nos atendió una camarera con una mala educación impresionante. El resto de camareros un encanto, pero si coinciden con ella les recomiendo que no entren porque es una experiencia que como consumidor no se la deseo a nadie. Nos íbamos a quedar a comer, pero después del trato recibido nos tuvimos que ir. Es la primera vez que en hostelería me han tratado así

I vari assaggi fatti tapas/bruschette tutti molto buoni e saporiti. Curioso l'acccostamento del Vermut che è da provare mentre si cena. Qui lo accostano a tutto.

29/03/2026Haben einen Tisch unten gekriegt, der Kellner machte sich keine Mühe ihn zu reinigen. Da unten nebe unserem Tisch Ablageorte waren, wurden wir vom Kellner mindestens dreimal während des Essens aufstehen, weil er dort etwas brauchte, z.B. Vermouth in 10l Kanister. Wein war OK. Warme Gerichte sind ca. 5 Minuten nach der Bestellung gekommen, offenbar seit langem fertig und nur erwärmt.
