09/06/2026Fabulously cosy, friendly and the tastiest veggie restaurant I have had the pleasure to visit, my only complaint is that we only found it at the end of our holiday. The menu is not big but all the dishes are delicious, the shakshuka was my favourite. I must say you don't have to be a vegetarian to love this place you just need to be able to enjoy good food thanks guys.

01/06/2026Very friendly and polite staff. Food was excellent with plenty of vegan options. The pine nut hummus and Maqluba were delicious but I do wish the portions were larger, especially given the prices. The Basbousa dessert was the standout, it was fantastic!

23/05/2026Very good food! The hummus had a bit softer texture than I prefer but that’s just personal opinion. I liked all the dishes and the staff were SO positive and welcoming even though we left after closing time. They weren’t even mad at us for coming in to eat late, which in many Spanish restaurants is a problem, since even if you come in 40 minutes before closing time, they’ll look at you badly. Good place!

12/05/2026This place was a joy to discover as a beardy English vegetarian, perfect vibes for me. The guy serving us was very friendly and welcoming. The hummus was delicious and the slow cooked beans and rice were perfect. My partner had the Balkan Shakshuka, also delicious. Plus our dog was welcome too. Highly recommend!

29/03/2026Absolutely loved the experience at La Hummuseria! The hummus with pine nuts and almonds was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The Khoresht Sabzi was deeply flavorful and comforting, paired beautifully with a refreshing natural lemonade. The extra chili oil on the side (totally worth it!) took everything to the next level. Ended on a sweet note with halwa for dessert!

24/03/2026one of the few trips to Madrid where had a hearty, wholesome vegetarian meal. they show love in their cooking, plating and the general experience. The service was friendly - all the women were warm and friendly. the hummus was outstanding and so was the cauliflower starter. I thought the pricing for all the starters was a bit too steep, but the quality is so good that it didn’t pinch. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice vegetarian place to eat in Madrid.

15/03/2026We ordered the hummus and the makluba. The hummus had a dominant cumin taste and had a rather liquid texture than a creamy one, which is a bit unusual. Besides the cumin taste, there was not a lot of flavor to the hummus. It was a bit disappointing, as the name of the place suggests that their focus lies on hummus. On the other side, the hummus was served with one pita, which was decent and warm. The makluba was good, however, it was very pricey considering the small portion that we got. We also had to wait almost one hour for the food, while a person next to us ordered and got the makluba within 10 minutes. After we asked, the excuse was that it was still in the oven, even though it was obvious that it was just a mistake in the order of the serving. In total, nothing special, and in our opinion better eat home.

20/01/2026My uncle absolutely raved about this spot, and the expectation was not only met, but exceeded. The hummus was fresh and the pita complimented it extremely well. We just arrived in Madrid, and it was nothing short of a great bienvenidos to the city. I ordered the shakshuka and enjoyed it thoroughly, practically licking the pan after I was done. Overall a good experience. My only reservation was that the food did take a bit of time, despite the restaurant not being busy.

17/12/2025Really really delicious food. I was expecting a regular run-of-the-mill hummus place but it was so much better than I was expecting, and it had the atmosphere of a very nice restaurant. All the dishes we tried were outstanding, and they also have interesting drinks. Everything was served really nicely, the staff were extremely lovely, great atmosphere. We were very pleasantly surprised. Very underrated! Recommend strongly to vegetarians and vegans but also meat-eaters.

25/11/2025What a way to start my trip to Madrid. I went for the lunch time deal that was only €15 for 3 courses and a drink. The drink can be alcoholic too if you want it to be, you can also switch out the desert for a hot drink. The food was great quality and the service is good too. I was able to walk in without a reservation as it was 1pm on a Tuesday but can see how busy this place can get due to the size. I would highly recommend for tourist or locals. What a great find!

01/06/2026Los platos son bastante escasos pero últimamente lo que estoy viendo es que el servicio ha perdido mucha calidad. Ya de primeras no se permite llamar al teléfono. Desde la web o redes sociales te redirigen a un teléfono que directamente sale bloqueado. Se lo dije a la empleada y claramente lo sabía y aun así hizo el paripé de decir que lo revisan. Está claro que no quieren atender al teléfono pese a que necesites cambios en la reserva de ultima hora o información sobre la comida. Será una directriz de arriba pero parece que se están riendo se ti. Resumen: no intentéis llamar, no sirve de nada 😂

01/02/2026Pedido de Uber: Las raciones de la coliflor (3 tallos a la mitad) y la remolacha( cuatro rodajas finas) son minúsculas y las salsas escasas. 4 platos y 50 euros y me dio para picoteo de 1 solo comensal. Es una pena porque la calidad y el sabor son frescos y muy buenos.

25/01/2026Nos gustó mucho la comida pero fuimos principalmente porque tienen muchos platos y pan sin gluten y lo primero que nos dijeron es que se les había terminado el pan sin gluten. Un sábado al mediodía sin pan? Nos pareció un poco rara la explicación... Ni tan siquiera nos dieron una alternativa, la tuvimos que proponer nosotros y nos trajeron unos trozos de zanahoria cortados muy pequeños.

16/01/2026Hemos ido a cenar y tenemos sentimientos contradictorios. Por un lado, el local es acojedor y tranquilo. Eso mola y los platos son de duralex que son una fantasia. Luego el servicio es amable y atento. 10 de 10. Ahora bien, tema comida, hemos notado que las raciones son algo pequeñas para lo que cuestan, es decir.. un plato de hummus 10 euros.. a lo mejor mas que cenar es para tomar algo y como tapa acompañarlo con el hummus pero algo mas barato. Esta todo rico eso si, pero tambien el sabor era algo "plano", como si le faltase "una pizca de sal"

El khorest sabzi (estofado persa) lo que menos me gusto pero estaba bueno,creia que traeria algo de carne... Relacion calidad precio ajustada. La musica de fondo un poco machacona. Servicio atento y amable. Volvere sin duda !!

09/04/2022Vine hace 3 años y me encantó, en ese momento probamos el hummus (riquísimo) y el zumo de limón nos pareció espectacular. Ahora he vuelto y sigue estando igual de bueno y genial de precio. Entre semana hacen menú de mediodía por 14 euros y te quedas como un rey, incluye postre y todo. Sin duda es uno de mis restaurantes favoritos de Madrid, totalmente recomendable!!

26/01/2019Actualizo la reseña 7 años después. Sigue siendo el mejor hummus de Madrid. La carta ha crecido con muchs platos muy apetecibles con el hummus con distintos ingredientes como centro. Suele estar lleno ya que no es muy grande, se puede pedir para llevar. Fantástica relación calidad/precio. Entre 15 - 20€ por persona. Hice la foto de la limonada y lo demás tenía tan buena pinta que olvidé las fotos 😉
